Purchase Order Referances maintenace

Hi
Where we maintain that creation of purchase order referances ?
Is it possible to create purchase order with referance to info record ? So that after putting info recored number purchase order takes all the refernca data from info record.

Hi,
We do not maintain any entries like creating PO with reference to info record. Infact if info record is maintained for vendor material combination, then the system will pick this Info record while creating PO with same combination.

    I'm working at a release upgrade from 4.6 to ECC 6.0 and I'm facing the following issue.
    I created a purchase order referring to a purchase request.
    Although I've deleted the purchase order, its number is still displayed in the purchase request.
    Instead in the previous release 4.6c, after having deleted the purchase order, its number disappeared.
    Do you know how to solve this different behaviour?

    If PO item was delete, system will update the PO qty in PR statistics with ZERO.  And appear information to advise this item has been opened. But 'Processing stat' will still keep 'B' - Ordered.

    Thus the processing status and the last purchase order are not reset, since it very often occurs that purchase requisitions are completed via several purchase orders - that is, they are partially ordered several times. In this case, it would even be completely incorrect to reset the status when deleting the last purchase order item, since the previous purchase order can still exist.
    However, since the program no longer has this information, namely, which purchase order is the last active one, the processing status is left on "B" and the purchase order number is not corrected, because this could only cause "even more incorrect" statistics."

    The purchasing document must be created again!
    If the purchase order refers to a contract, you must also create the contract again because the conversion factors from the contract are taken over into the purchase order.
    The conversion factor itself cannot be changed in the purchasing document - even if no WE has yet been booked - since this may lead to inconsistencies in the inventory management or to price variances during the invoice verification.

  • Sales order items refers to different purchase order items

    Hello SAP Experts,
    I have a requirement where sales order items are referring to different purchase order items. For eg. Item 1 from SO exist in PO no. 11 where as item 2 from SO exist in PO 12. Transaction MIRO allows to post items belonging to different purchase orders, but we have to do invoice verification using IDOCs. In EDI process, it is taking PO number from the SO header and not from the SO items.
    Can anyone suggest how to get PO number from the SO item and not from the SO header.

    Not possible to create sales order with reference to PO.
    but if to capture cost, you can consider adding cost to customer's invoice.
    e.g.
    SO -> PO -Inb/IR -> GR -> OB -> Inv(Add here)
    to add in that invoice, its either manual or through automatic condition.

  • Purchase order with referance to Purchase  requisition

    This is the requirement of <b>Purchase order creation with reference to Purchase requisition  only at the same time this requirement need to control particular document  type ( Ex: Standard purchase Order) only .</b>Based on this other document types should not effect.

    There is no configuration for the Purchase order with reference to Purchase requistion..
    We can customise the Purchase order with reference to Purchase Requistion through the funcational authorisations.
    For this,
    Define Functional Authorisations in the customizing for Purchasing, there we can unmark PO w/o reference allowed.
    Functional Authorisation, like ''abc'' create with <b>T.Code OMET</b>
    Assign ''abc'' to a Parameter ID ''def'' with the <b>T.Code SU52</b>
    Mostly this Purchase order authorisations will be give BASIS consultants. Pls approch them for more clarity in this regard.

  • Excise Invoice is captured with another Purchase Order

    Hi
    We have a scenrio, transfer the material from debond plant to mfg plant after imported material in kept in Bonding area. STO po is raised to from imported plant to mfg plant with Imported duties as delivery costs.
    Bill of entry is provided for all the materials as one. While capturing the excise amount at line item level is difficult so, captured at first line item level as total because material is Same (Material is Split valuated materials with 3 batches). First GR is done properly but next GR for 2nd and 3 rd line items are refered with earlier Bill of entry, system promprts the error message "Excise Invoice is captured with another Purchase Order".
    Please do the needful.

    Please be informed that for one a GR document wrt PO only one excise invoice can exist.
    Ex PO-4500000010
    GR no 5000000010
    only one excise can exist and if the same excise invoice is reffered to another GR with the same PO system will throw an error message. Please let me know the exact business requirement in detail.

  • Open Purchase Order table.

    I want to prepare a report which should display open Purchase Order quantity according to latest delivery date.
    I explain with a example.
    Say a material has 3 Purchase Orders with delivery date as 1st June,15th June and 20th June.Then system should pick the Purchase Order with delivery date as 1st June and it should dislay the quantity which is yet to be delivered,means there is possibility that GR has already been done for some of the quantity.
    To summarize the report should pick the latest Purchase Quantity and display the quantity yet to be delivered.Can anybody let me kow the Tables to be refered fro the same.

    You can go to report by ME2N. Here you have multiple options for your reoport. In selection parameters you can put OPEN PO nad put the delievery date. There are many combinations available in this report.
    Please let me know if it doesn't work.

  • Invoice non deductible tax amount vs Purchase order

    In the purchase order the tax amount is calculated item by item (ME21N). In the invoice (MIRO) when we select flag “Calculate tax” the system calculates the tax amount for the total of all the items. Because of this system behaviour in the invoice verification sometimes we obtain small differences.
    These differences should not exist specially when we are using a non deductible tax that affects the material valuation with the goods receipt and has to be corrected in the moment of the invoice verification.
    Why does the system have a different behaviour from the purchase order to the invoice?
    What can be done?

    Whatever you mentioned about condition NAVS is there in system.
    I am not adding tax code in PO, referring your earlier email I am asking that.
    For adding other element I have not asked anything here, only to clarify your statement
    You need to cross check why non-deductible tax amount needed in your PO with NAVS condition type and its purpose.
    I explained this.
    My question is simple that in one PO I am getting non-deductible tax but if I change vendor for the same material I am not getting non-deductible tax in condition tab ? I am not able to understand why its happened ? If one PO shows means there are chances that basic configuration is correct but may be somewhere something is wrong, I want to find out that.  If you can throw some light on that its helpful for me.

    Hi,
    PO release is a approval procedure. If a PO fulfills certain conditions (e.g. the total order value exceeds $10,000), it has to be approved (by the cost center manager, for instance) before it can be processed further. This process of approving is knows as release procedure.
    PO revision refers to changes made to PO. If an existing PO is changed, the system can print an amended PO displaying the changes. The first change is printed as 'amendment no. 1", the second as 'amendment no. 2" and so on.

  • Excise rate and value is not getting defaulted from the purchase order

    While capturing excise invoice , the excise rate and value is not getting defaulted from the purchase order and in Excise Item Tab BED,AED,ECS is Zero at both header as well as item level for only one material in STO process and if we are doing same process taking other material all things are coming perfectly and We are maintaining condition with respect to vendor,plant and material combination.Any input related to this will be helpfull and rewarded.

    Hi,
    Follow STO Process for this;
    1.Create a vendor for the company code of receiving plant, using account group: 0007 using T-Code XK01.
    2. Assign this vendor to Delivering plant
    Go to XK02 >Purchasing view>Extras>Add. Purchasing data>Plant
    3. Create internal customer with the sales area of the vendor. Go To XD01
    4. In pricing procedure determination relevant to STO, assign document Pricing Procedure and customer pricing procedure appropriate for STO to get the pricing in the invoice.
    5. Maintain condition records for the relevant pricing condition.
    6. Some more setting for STO: Go to MM> Purchasing > Purchase Order > Set up STO > define shipping data for plants > Go to Receiving plant >assign customer here & Supplying SA (for billing) to Receiving plant here
    7. Go to MM > Purchasing > Purchase Order > Set up STO > define shipping data for plants > Go to Supplying plant and assign the sales area of receiving plant.
    8. Go to MM > Purchasing > Purchase Order > Set up STO > assign delivery Type & Checking rule
    Assign the delivery type to document type. In this case, Delivery type NLCC is assigned to Document type NB
    9. Go to MM> Purchasing > Purchase Order > Set up STO > Assign document Type, One step Procedure, Under delivery tolerance
    Assign the document type NB to supplying plant and receiving plant
    10. After all settings, Create the STO using T-Code: ME21N and maintain pricing conditions of freight and Save.
    11. In supplying plant Maintain condition record in sales using VK11 the same will flow in receiving plant when referring the OBD no during MIGO.
    10. Create Delivery: VL10G
    12. Picking, PGI: VL02N
    13. Billing: VF01
    Save the document and its done
    14. J1IIN - Outgoing Excise Invoice
    15. MIGO - Goods Receipt against outbound Delivery

  • Custom vendor,freight vendor in case of import purchase order

    I make the purchase order for imported goods and provide the insurance vendor,custom vendor & clearing charges vendor in PO itself. But when i was go for MIRO for planned delivery cose system show me message as:
    Different invoicing party 1000055 planned for del. costs item in PO
    4500000280
        Message no. M8287
    Diagnosis
        You entered an invoice for delivery costs.
        In a delivery costs item for purchase order 4500000280, the invoicing
        party is 1000055. You are now posting the invoice to 1000040. This can
        be for one of two reasons:
        o   You entered 4500000280 in the field Purchase order, and 1000040 in
            the field Invoicing party.
        o   You entered a multiple allocation. The first item refers to a
            purchase order with invoicing party 1000040. Another item refers to
            purchase order 4500000280. The system copies the invoicing party
            from the first delivery costs item to all items, in this case
    Note:
    The category of this message can be changed in Customizing for Invoice
    Verification. This means that you can receive a message as an error
    message even though it is defined as a warning message in the standard
    system.
    The following documentation deals with the case applicable to the
    standard system only.

    Check your entries and make any necessary corrections.
    If you want to allow delivery costs with different invoicing parties to
    be selected, change the system message to W in Customizing. To do this,
    you work through the step Define Attributes of System Messages in the

    The message is set as an error message in the standard system. In this
    case, the delivery costs are not selected.

    Import Vendor return is like re export from business point of view.
    You can follow export sales process in sap.
    What i suggest is for example if it is raw material you can create a bom with parent material as X-01,child material as Y what
    you are returning to vendor.
    Note: Create parent material as HALB with sales view & accounting view with valuation of raw material.
    Do production goods receipt,it willl bring stock to parent material.
    Create customer for vendor.
    Adopt export sales process,create a sales order,delivery,billing,invoice,excise invoice,ARE1.
    Note : Discuss with FI consultant/core team take care of accounting effects in billing.
    Clear balances for customer or vendor using F-53 or F-58.
    Note : You need to tell excise/submit documents telling it is not actual export.
    or
    If you opt for purchasing route,then there is lot of customs formalities to be completed & also need to pay duties taken credit,depends on value of goods if it is high, you can opt for import vendor returns or ask vendor for debit memo which will be adjusted with future purchases against same vendor

    we are in 11.5.10.2 , we are getting error message while viewing purchase order "Currency formatting cannot be performed without a currency code".
    is it beacuse of currency not popluated in Purchase order?

    Verified metalink and other areas but could not get any appropriate solution.
    I tried to reproduce the issue in various available environments...but no luck!
    My guess would be the datafix/BUG that you have referred in the MOS note 960504.1
    Please check with your DBA for this patch in test instance.

    Please go thru the below Release Procedure and check whether you have maintained all the settings properly.
    PO RELEASE STRATEGY
    The release code is a two-character ID allowing a person to release (clear, or approve) a requisition or an external purchasing document. The release codes is basically controlled via a system of authorizations (authorization object M_EINK_FRG).
    Use SE12, structure CEKKO to check all the fields available for controlling the Purchase Order.
    e.g. If the total value for the Purchase Order exceeds 10,000, release strategy 01 is assigned to the Purchase Order. There is only one characteristic created in this example. For controlling the Purchase Order type, create characteristic for CEKKO-BSTYP and the value NB.
    CT04 - Create Characteristic e.g. NETVALUE
    Click Additional data Table name CEKKO Field name GNETW and press enter
    (for currency dependent field, you are prompt to enter the currency which the system then converts the currency of the Purchasing document into this currency)
    In the Basic data (X refers to tick),
    X Mutliple values
    X Interval values
    In the Value data, in the Char. value column, type >10000 and press enter
    Save your data
    CL02 - Class
    Class - Create REL_PUR
    Class type - 032
    Click Create

    Once the Purchase Order is not release, buyers will not be able to print the Purchase Order.
    Goods Receipts will be shown with Message no. ME 390 - Purchasing document XXXXXXX not yet released.
    In 4.6c, Purchase Order with Release Strategy have a tabs at the end of the Header. This allowed the buyers to check the release status of the Purchase Order.
    The person with the release authorization have to use ME28 to release the Purchase Order.

  • Inter-company with 'Free Item in Purchase Order'

    Dear Expert,
    In case inter-company, how to create billing document wiht including u2018free item purchase orderu2019. ?
    My case is
    1) Company A issue purchase order (both normal and free item)
    2) Company B issue the delivery order by referring to PO (both normal and free item)
    3) However, when company B issue the billing document, only normal goods is copy to billing document. Free item are completed status after good issues is completed and they do not come in inter-company billing.
