Purchase Order Statistical Delivery Date changed automatically

Hi,
In the purchase order, when I go to change the delivery date, the statistical delivery date changed automatically.
I do not want to change the statistical delivery date.
Is there any User Exit or BADI to validate this?
Please suggest the same.

Is the delivery date get copied to statistical delivery date ?
For validation, please check BADI - ME_PROCESS_PO_CUST and Method - PROCESS_ITEM
From the interface - IF_PURCHASE_ORDER_ITEM_MM use method GET_SCHEDULES and subsequently from the interface IF_PURCHASE_ORDER_SCHEDULE_MM use method - GET_DATA to get schedule line details.

    You can use t.codes ME13 or ME1L or ME1M to find the info records. In the info record you can find the field Planned delivery time in the purchase view-control box

  • Upgrade from 4.7 to ECC 6.0 - Purchase Order Statiscal Delivery Date

    Hi.
    I need your help please. When an order is created via ME21N, the Statistical Delivery date on the Delivery Schedule Tab gets populated automatically with the delivery date that was captured on the Item Detail, if not manually updated.This is how it works on version 4.7, I tested this on the 4.7 Box and it works in the above manner. Now after the upgrade to ECC 6.0, the statistical Delivery Date does NOT, get automatically updated. According to System help etc, it should. When you also change an order that already had the Statistical Delivery date, the system now changes the date to a blank value. In version 4.7, this did not happen
    Can someone please shed some light, is there a setting that needs to be done in Config or a note that needs to be applied?

    I got  similar issue with statistical delivery date , but from version 4.6c to ECc 6.0 .  and it is for  PO doc type NB , not for STO .
    The solution as per the note # 1164767  works  only for STO ?  or It works for  PO with doc type NB also ?
    Could you confirm when  you apllied the note  , whether the issue  resolved for all types of POs or only for STOs?

  • One Purchase Order: Different delivery dates in different ports

    Hi All
    I have a Purchase order.  The material is coming through 3 ports.  So, I need the system to automatically calculate the delivery dates into these ports.  I amso need to enter the actual delivery dates in these ports.  And finally I need to do the GR in my storage location.
    Is all this possible without ant ABAP development work?

    Yes, it is sort of Imports.
    I do not have full details as of Now.
    But, if we have GTS, is it feasible?  If Not, what are the options?  I dont think we have a way out in std PO.  Any pointers will be very useful.

  • SAPSCRIPT: Purchase Order Required Delivery Date Not printing

    We have a required delivery date in the PO in the field EEIND. But all of the SAP logic is pointing to doc-xpekko-EINDT. I am only aware of a couple of places the logic can look for EEIND in the PO and the date is there, but again  the SAP logc seems to look at EINDT. Anybody know where else in a PO the SAP logic could be grabbing the Req. Delivery date from?

    Hi,
    I would like to know statistic delivery date and Commited Delivery date in STO PO.
    2 different type of date is displaying STO PO like;
    1. We are getting statistic delivery as "09.02.9999" and Commited Date as "09.02.2011"

    When you create a PO, then the statistical delivery date is set equally to the delivery date.
    the statistical delivery date is automatically changed if you change the delivery date before you have outputted the PO.
    After you outputted the PO, the statistical delivery date has to be changed manually by the user if he changes the delivery date.
    the idea behind this is because of the vendor evaluation, the vendor evaluation is done with the statistical delivery date.
    as long you have not printed/faxed/mailed the PO to your vendor, then the statistical delivery date is changed automatically with a delivery date change.
    But after a transmission you always have to ask yourself, who is responsible for the change in the delivery date.
    If it is you, then you have to change the statistical delivery date to the new delivery date manually, to avoid that the vendor gets valuated against the wrong delivery date. But if it is because the vendor cannot meet the delivery date, then you change the delivery date to have an accuracy for planning, but you keep the old date in the statistical delivery date to valuate the vendor against it.

    1) Orders.
    2) Budget
    3) Actual
    4) commitment
    5) Alloted
    6) Available
    These are two additional column
    7)Purchase order
    8) Delivery date.
    Require your help to know which all tables are included to extract above out put fields please help me.

    Thanks for reply, can you please let me know is there any other way to show the output fields.
    As my client is very specific to run the report on period wise, i also tried to execute the standard tcode S_ALR_87013019 and were we are getting all the required outputs to pop up but this is on year wise, but we can also check by period basis by clicking on order number and actual period basis where we can see period basis.
    Also one more question,what is the commitment table which is popping up in this, please advise.

  • How to block the Statistical delivery date in purchase order from updation

    Hello All,
        We have the following requirement from our client.
    The client wants to track the delay in delivery of purchase orders raised to vendors. Currently the users, change the delivery date and then process the PO if there are any delays. The client wants to STOP this and track any changes being made.
        We created a new screen layout for purchase orders and checked the Statistics relevant delivery date as DISPLAY
    However, when we tested the same, the statistical delivery date was changed along with delivery date, when the delivery date was changed in the Purchase order, though the option for statistical delivery date was seen a DISPLAY field only.
    Please provide us your suggestions on any other options available.

    if your client wants to track the delay of a delivery from your vendor, then he has to give the vendor a chance that he can deliver on time. And the usual way to do this is by sending the PO to the vendor.
    if you cange the delivery date before output of messagem then your vendor could not even know the original delivery date, so it is not the vendors fault if he cannot meet this date.
    if you change the delivery date after output of message , then the statistical delivery date will stay with the old date.
    the field is always open to maintain because it is not always the vendor who is reponsible for a delivery date change.
    if you want to change the delivery date because you can take the quantity at that date, then it is not the vendors fault, in this case you have to change the statistical delviery date to evaluate the vendors delivery performance against the new date.
    And often forgotten in this evaluation process is the warehouse personell that finally posts the goods receipt. if they post it with delay and do not change the goods reeipt date, then the vendor is as well evaluated to bad.

    Please tell me, how system will display automatically statistical delivery date in PO while creation of PO for the first time? Because some times system will display this and some times it will not display even though i enter all the similar values. Hence i would like to know the conditions that will guide the system to calculate statistical delivery date automatically and display in PO. I checked and tried various options like entering/not entering/altering planned delivery time, GR processing time in material master purchasing view/MRP view and also in info record. Even with all these options i could not find the correct reason for automatic calculation of statistical delivery date in PO. I refered SAP  notes 1164767, 14422, 497150 but no use. Hence let me know the correct and right answer to my problem.

I wanted to know how system will automaticall calculate and display statistical delivery date in PO? What are the parameters that govern this? What are the input values to calculate automatically statistical delivery date? Normally why this will be same as delivery date in PO? Suppose I want statistical delivery date = Planned delivery time + GR processing time + Purchasing department processing time + Some allowance (Say additional 1 day). For ex: Statistical Delivery date = 10 + 3 + 2 + 1= 16 days from the date of PO. Please tell me how to get this calculated in system automatically?

    Hi Gurus,
    Recently the statistical delivery date(SDD) in the Purchse order has stopped appearing in the PO.
    Earlier it was appearing but since last one month it has stopped appearing.
    The field remains blank inspite of sending the message to the vendor & changing the delivery date of the line item.
    Is there any Config setting which i am missing.
    or is there any SAP Note to be applied.

    You cannot change this via "Fast Change".
    Please see the usage of this field.
    Calculation of the delivery time is an element in the determination of a vendor's adherence to delivery dates (that is, the vendor's delivery timeliness, or on-time delivery performance) in MM Vendor Evaluation.
    If it becomes known that the vendor can only deliver ordered goods some days later than originally stipulated, for instance, you can change the delivery date accordingly for materials planning and control purposes. However, the statistics-relevant delivery
    date remains unchanged.
    As a result, the vendor's "on-time delivery performance" score worsens. At the same time, it is ensured that materials planning and control works on the basis of the right date.

  • Delivery date changed 4 times-called to ask what is going on and then best buy cancelled order

    I ordered a 55 inch aquos  with free ROKU stick for $599.00 on Sept. 22   (removed per forum guidlelines) and got a confirmed delivery of Sept. 26.  Unfortunately, I received a call in the morning of the Sept. 26 and was told that delivery was pushed to Tues, Sept. 30.
    On Monday, Sept. 29, I received an automated call informing me that the Tv will be delivered on Sept. 30 between 3:30 and 5:30. and I also received an email with the same information. Thirty minutes later I received another email stating that the delivery is again being pushed to Oct. 13. so I called customer service. I was told he can change the delivery date to Oct. 3 but call in the morning to confirm availability with warehouse.I called customer service on Sept. 30 to confirm availability and was assured that the Tv will be delivered on Oct. 3.
    On Thursday Oct. 2nd, I received another email stating the order will not be delivered until Oct. 16. I remained calm and called customer service and after a very long hold time I was able to speak with a representative and again after a long hold to check what is going on, she informed me that the order is now cancelled since the item is  discontinued. I told the representative that I already lost 3 days of work due to the delivery dates changing and since the TV has to be accepted by somebody 18 years or older I needed to be home. I asked if it is unreasonable to ask for the same exact TV but 1 size bigger since the 60 inch is available and in stock (but without the ROKU stick) but unfortunately I was told it is not possible. I asked to speak with a supervisor but they are all busy but she asked for my phone number so they can call me back in 20 min.. I waited but did not get a back from the supervisor the same day.
    I called again today,  Friday, Oct. 3 and I was assisted by a nice lady who after explaining my situation was sincere with her apology. She told me that she will call me back so she can speak with a supervisor about my situation. I asked her too if it is unreasonable to ask for the same exact TV but next size bigger since the one I was sold is no longer available and I lost 3 days of work due to the 3 changes in delivery dates. She affirmed that it is fair but have no authority to make decissions but will relay the history of the order to her superior so they can make a proper resolution. 
    After about 15 minutes I got a call  back and was told that since the bigger TV is priced at 799.00 they will give me a 50.00 dsicount for the trouble. I declined the offer since I feel that  $50.00 dollars for getting the run around and missing 3 days of work is not proper compensation and is an insult to any customer. I thanked her for trying and informed her that I am aware that it is not her fault and it is management who made this decission. 
    I sincerely feel  that I should have been given the next size TV for the same price of my original purchase and I should have been given a ROKU stick (which I did not ask for) for my unpleasant experience.
    We are  $150.00 apart from getting a resolution but management feels like it is the right thing to do for cases like these. Being a best buy customer for many years, spending many thousand of dollars,  I am  puzzled why best buy would treat any customer the way they treated me. Please explain the policy so I can have a better understanding. The $150.00 difference can easily be recopued from my next purchase. In my opinion, it is not a very smart business practice to lose a customer this way. Again, please explain the policy to me so I can understand better.

Misinformation and multiple missed appointments would frustrate me too, and I can only imagine this frustration turned into aggravation with the poor service you describe. After pulling up your account, I noticed that has been two weeks since your TV purchase, and I’m sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused.     When your delivery day arrives, you should receive a call from us to narrow down the time frame to a 4-hour window.  This is done because our delivery agent’s schedule isn’t fully determined until the day of service as our customer’s needs may change prior to the delivery date. These routes are then best optimized to fit the appointments scheduled for the day. The particular television you wished to purchase is quite popular, however, and due to high demand, it’s currently on backorder in some areas of the country.  This may explain why your delivery date was continuously pushed back unexpectedly, and why we needed to reschedule multiple times.
    While in backordered status, however, an online order may be cancelled if you don’t wish to wait any longer and a different model may be purchase. Upon review of your order, I noticed that it was canceled upon your request. If you have since changed your mind and wish to wait for one to arrive, you may place a new order here. 
    It sounds like you wish to purchase a new TV entirely though, so I understand if you don’t wish to attempt a new order. While I cannot guarantee you a different outcome than the resolution already offered, I’d be glad to look into your case to see what other options may be available.     The statistical delivery date is an important field during the calculation of the on-time delivery score. (see note 310666)
    After implementing a new support package this field wasn't filled up automatically anymore. Fortunately note 1039344 and 1164767 helped overcome this.
    But ... in the meantime purchase orders were created and received without a statistical delivery date.
    Which date / or what does sap do when calculating on-time delivery score if there is no statistical delivery date ? Does it take the "delivery date" into account ?

  • Statistical Delivery date vs Confirmed Delivery date

    Hi Experts,
    Been browsing a bit in the threads and found that there are two notes that need to be implemented for a correct refreshing of Statistical Delivery date.
    We would like the system to take the Confirmed delivery date as the Statistical Delivery date.
    My question is, since we are using manual confirmations in the PO, Is it possible that the manually confirmed date in the PO is copied automatically in the Statistical Delivery date?
    Or we need to manually confirm, and then again manually copy the same date in Stat. Del. Date field?

    In Standard SAP, there is no relationship between 'Statistical Delivery date' and any date contained in the confirmations.  If you want them to somehow be linked, this will require custom programming.  Spec it out and hand the requirements off to your ABAPers.
    One thing to bear in mind is that the Statistical delivery date(s) are related to the Purchase Order Item SCHEDULES.  Confirmation date(s) are related to the Purchase Order ITEMS (not the schedules).  If you decide to create some custom code, you will need to accommodate the instances when the number of confirmation lines is different from the number of schedule lines.
    For example, for one Purchase order item, I might have 3 schedules, with 3 statistical delivery dates.  When the Purchase order item confirmations are entered, I might have 1 confirmation, 3 confirmations, or 4 confirmations, all for the single PO Item.  You will then have to decide which date should be moved to Statistical delivery date.
