Purchased TV show says "No Content" when I try to play it on AppleTV

I have an old AppleTV and I purchased a season of Parenthood.  Apparently the AppleTV disk filled while it was downloading.  *Some* of the episodes show up under the download menu item, and it looks like they can be redownloaded.  However, some "appear" to have downloaded, but when I try to play them, a message saying "No Content" shows up.  Is it possible to get them to redownload?  If I delete them can I download again?  If not, how do I fix this?

Original old one.  (I actually have 2, the old one, and a someone newer, "streaming only" one that I got a year or 2 ago.)  I have an "issue" with the older one as well.  A year or so ago, my iTunes account got messed up, and I lost a bunch of movies, TV shows, etc that I had purchased.  Many of them are on the old AppleTV still, but not in my iTunes account anymore, so I no longer sync that AppleTV with my iTunes account, or I'd lose those titles.  So I can't resync from iTunes (hope that makes sense... I think I've got that right.  That's the way it was described to me by an Apple Tech last year).
Anyway, I *did* find the two episodes in question on my iTunes account, and have now watched them on my computer, so the issue is somewhat moot, but would still like to know for future reference if there's anything else I can do in such a situation.
