Put a tablet on a contract line...

I am new to Verizon after 13 happy years with AT&T/Cingular/Cellular One (wayyy back). When I was in Best Buy I let the young lady talk me into getting the JetPack for only $20/month. Problem is that with the mobile-share, both iPhones on my plan are mobile hotspots, so I really don't have the use for it that I thought I might. My question is this- can I get rid of the JetPack, stay under contract and just add an iPad to that line of service.
AT&T allows this which is why I'm asking...
Thanks in advance.

What do you mean when saying "if the same name exists" ? If the same menu item exists ?
Yes, for example "File > Import > File..." and "Composition > Save Frame As > File...", both are labeled as "File..."
app.executeCommand(app.findMenuCommandId("File..."));     Wouldn't know which one you are talking about.

  • Cancelled contract lines are populating in the SR form's subject tab when clicking on 'Get Contracts' button

Cancelled contract lines are populating in the SR form's subject tab when clicking on 'Get Contracts' button. But user says, it should not be populated. What could be the reason? Please suggest.
I have told the user :
"In the case of a renewed contract, if the service request is logged during the effectivity of the original contract (which is now Expired), the original contract will be retrieved. If the service request is logged during the effectivity of the renewal contract then only the renewal contract will be retrieved.
Contract Entitlement on Subject tab is based on Contract Start and End dates. All the contracts i.e. expired, active, cancelled will appear until the end date. As we can see the contract ES-10165 is end dated on 09-DEC-2014, hence it will appear on the subject tab as per the functionality."
    But the User is saying:
"Contract coverage is clear to be based on dates, and that is quite clear to me as well… the problem comes with the different statuses.
A SR can be associated to an “EXPIRED” contract line because the SR creation date could be falling between coverage line start and end dates, but can never be related to a “CANCELLED” line.
This “CANCELLED” status means that the line is not valid for the contract, so if it is not valid for a contract, it is not valid for referencing a job…and this is only creating wrong costs associations."

    Hi Sudhakar,
Drop inline message components for each of the textFields and the textArea and then run the application. You could also use a message list component but inline message components for each of the input components would give you a clear idea if any errors are occuring. In case any such errors are indeed occuring then the situation can be analysed further.
    Hope this helps
    Cheers

  • How to put grouped results all on one line.

I amt trying to get Principal, Interest, Principal YTD, Interest YTD from a transaction table to get them all on one line, but I can't seem to get it. I have a script here that can run without modification to see what I have here. The very last query is
incorrect, as it puts each value on a separate line, but it demonstrates what I am getting so far. What I want is one account number with 4 columns, as above mentioned. Keep in mind, in this illustration, YTD is last year and forward:

  • Badi ISU_PRODUCT_CHANGE and creation of a new contract line item

    Hello Gurus;
I have this requirement: Once a contract gets close the ending date (30 days before) i need to automatically renew the contract. In order to do that i thought that an action in the Contract Item might get the job done and browsing i found that badi ISU_PRODUCT_CHANGE does almost what i need even if it creates a new contract line item with a new product and this is not good for me... Does anybody know if there is a better Badi matching with my requirements or i have to "modify" the ISU_PRODUCT_CHANGE? I hope my question was clear if you need more specifics please ask me...
    Thank you very much.
    Fabio

You can create a new costing variant with  a valuation variant that points to inforecords for material prices. Go to OKKN t-code and create the required configuration and start using the new costing variant to measure the current cost of making vehicles.

  • Not able to change the the Contract Line Item Payer

    Hi there,
I am not able to change the Contract Line item Payer and giving an error message '' Credit limit customer differs from credit limit customer in header''.
I checked the credit management assignment and the Business partner is assigned with the required Payer.
    Request your help.
    Thanks,
    Renjith

    Hi Renjith
So first of all  check with which customer you have created Contract. So go to CMR data and check wheather you have maintained multiple Payers or not. If not maintained maintain multiple payers.
As you are getting error  '' Credit limit customer differs from credit limit customer in header'' , so check the payer at header level and item level also. the payer at header level and item level should be different.

  • Tax error when updating renewal contract lines

    Hi,
We're doing the contract renewals custom way, and apply a price increase and some other minor modifications to contract lines. Now, I have some more modifications to the program based on new user requirements. So, after calling the renewal API, I need to check the actual term for ext. warranty on the order line and change the term of the contract, AND set the price to same as the contract that got renewed. When I do this, my update to the renewal lines does not go through and errors out with the following:
1.The system cannot find tax information for tax regime US-SALES-TAX-101 and tax &TAX. Please contact your tax manager. (TAX_CODE=DISTRICT)
I would really appreciate if someone could provide some insight into this, as I'm just stuck with this and cannot move forward.
    Thanks!
    Alka

    Hi Alka,
    logically I would check
==> Log in with service contracts manager responsibility and query the renewal contract that is created
-- Check if the tax code information is populated. If yes then check if the tax code has been end dated in system.
-- go to Setup --> Transactions --> Transaction Types. Query Invoice-OKS and Credit-OKS and check if Tax Calculation check box is selected
-- go to Setup --> Transactions --> Sources and query your batch transaction source and check how Autoinvoice is setup to handle imported transactions that have invalid tax rates.
You can read up details of this in the implementation guide "Setting up service pricing and billing" chapter, page 61 to 68.
==> There was a bug logged for this error (metalink article id: ID 786000.1), and it is relevant to 12.0 / 12.1 apps version. You may want to check if the related patch solves your problem.
    Hope this helps!
    Thanks,
    Sid.

  • Updating tax on the contract lines and header

    Hi All,
    Service Contracts
We are trying to update Contract Line DFFs that store different values like Preventive Maintenance qty, Months billed etc. When we update this, we expect that the price, subtotal also should get updated. Also, we are updating annualized amount stored at the subline DFF as attribute1 using okc_contract_pub.update_contract_line.
We are doing all the price calculations using the APIs :
    oks_qp_pkg.calc_price
    oks_qp_int_pvt.compute_price
Since the subtotal is getting recalculated, the tax should also change. Note that the subtotal is getting recalculated at all the places i.e. at subline, top line and the header.
The tax amount is getting recalculated only at the subline level and not reflecting either at the Line or header level.
    Questions:
    1. How to achieve this ?
    2. Do the above 2 APIs calculate tax as well ?
Any pointers on this will be extremely helpful.

  • Issue in using custom discount condition type in pricing agreement at Service Contract line item level

    Hello
We are facing an issue while using a Z discount condition type in price agreement at service contract line item level.
A Z Condition type has been created in ECC and assigned to the pricing procedure. This pricing procedure is downloaded in CRM and determined in the service contract.
A condition maintenance group using this Z condition type is created in CRM and assigned to service contract item category.
Condition records are created in CRM for this condition type/condition maintenance group for specific products along with sales org and discount percentage.
But when the price agreement(using this condition type) is used at the item level of a service contract, the system throws errors (related to product/unit of measure and sales org, even though no issues seem to be there)and thus the price agreement is not allowed to be used.
If anyone has worked on such kind of scenario, please get in touch, I will share more details for the same.
    Regards
    Ankit Arora

    Dear Ankit,
Once the pricing procedure is downloaded, please maintain the document pricing procedure at service contract header level, and maintain the customer pricing procedure at business partner sales area billing data.
In spro, maintain the pricing procedure for the combination of sales area, document pricing procedure, customer pricing procedure.
Please crosscheck whether the condition table is active or not.
    Regards,
    Maddy

  • How to get price list line id for service contract line(subline)

Does some one know how to find a price list line id for service contracts line (sub line)?
There is actually a column in table okc_k_lines_b which is called price_list_line_id, but it looks like it is never used (all columns values are NULL). I have tried to investigate reprice API's which are used in contracts authoring form, but they are too huge and it didn't lead to nay result. There is a way (bad hack), by calling OKS_QP_INT_PVT.COMPUTE_PRICE it is possible to get price list line id by which contract line is priced, it would be kina fine if I would need to find line id for some rows, but it wont work for thousands!
Is there some proper way how could I get price list line id by which is service contract line priced?

    Hi,
Check out the following query that gets the price_list_id on subline_level and more.

  • Loadjava puts the whole program on one line

    Hi,
I have used the loadjava facility standalone and within Oracle9i jDeveloper and found that when I upload the java source, it puts the whole program on one line. Also if I have left blank lines in the source code, they appear as 'null' in the stored procedure.
    See below is my code:
    package mypackage1;
    public class HelloWorld
       public static String world ()
          return "Hello world";
}and this is what it looks like if I open the Java classes in jDeveloper:
package mypackage1;nullpublic class HelloWorld{   public static String world ()   {      return "Hello world";   }}nullI am using a windoes 2000 box.
    Why is this happening?
    Thanks
    Jag

    Thanks, i'll try it out,
However, it isn't just the code that appears on one line. All teh functions and packages all appear on one line and they are generated either by JDev and hence are out of my control.
You would have thought that this would have been one of the types of things the JDeveloper development team would have tested, so i'm hoping it just a configuration somewhere.
    Thanks
    Jag

  • How do I get the $25 month2month "More Everything" discount on my off-contract lines?

I have the pop-up discount automatically added when I logged onto My Verizon, but it is not adding it to my second off-contract line.  Please fix that for me.

Never mind I was able to finally get onto live chat and they confirmed my eligibility and applied the discount.

  • Link between Contract line and the Billing Plan number

    Hi All,
I have a requirement which needs a link between the Contract Line item and its Billing Plan Number. I basically have to find out the contracts which have a billing block. So a invoice would not have been created to that line item.
Please let me know if such a link exists.
    Thanks in advance,
    jr.

    Hello
In table <b>VBKD </b>(Sales Document: Business Data) you will find the link between the contract (VBELN) and the billing plan (FPLNR). If POSNR = '000000' then this is the billing plan of the contract header.
The billing block can be found in VBAK-FAKSK.
Finally, billing plan details can be found in table FPLA. If FPLA-RFPLN is filled then the item billing plan is linked to the header billing plan.
    Regards
      Uwe

  • Drop an "out of contract" line from family plan, but keep the number

I have a family plan with 4 numbers. One of the numbers (let's call it line#1) is out of contract, so I can drop it without penalty. However, this is my daughter's number and I really don't want it to change. Another of the numbers (line#2) is still under contract, but it is a phone number I don't need any more. Verizon will not let me "swap" these numbers and keep line#1 while dropping line#2 -- unless I pay the termination fee on line#2. So, I'm wondering if this will work:
    1. Port line#1 TO Google Voice (paying $20 to do so). This will cancel the Verizon contract for line#1.
    2. Activate my daughter's phone with line#2, and configure GV to forward calls/texts from line#1 to line#2.
    3. Wait a few days for things to stabilize.
    4. Port line#1 FROM Google Voice back TO Verizon, replacing the line#2 phone number.
At the end of this process, I will have effectively dropped the Verizon contract for line #1, have line#1 take over the contract formerly owned by line#2, and removed line#2 from my Verizon account. This is exactly what I explained to 3 different Verizon people, both over the phone and in a store -- and they claim that they can't do it because "the phone number is tied to the contract". They won't let me "swap" or "port" a number within my account, but they will let me replace the phone number on a currently active contract with an external number that gets ported in to Verizon. So, I need to port line#1 OUT of Verizon (paying Google $20 to do this) and then turn around and port it back IN to Verizon, replacing the line#2 phone number I no longer need. I don't see a reason why this will not work, unless Verizon has some self-serving rule about not porting in a number that was recently ported out. (Is there a "waiting period" involved here?) It's idiotic to me that Verizon would rather have me give $20 to Google to port a number out and back in rather than allow me to swap phone numbers on my Verizon account.
    Any thoughts?

    Thanks, 21stNow and Brian68.
Understood. I use Google Voice as my primary number now, but my daughter would prefer not to mess with it. She wants HER number (line#1) to show up on outgoing calls/texts using the native dialer/messaging apps. She has an iPhone, and I'm an Android guy, so I don't know how well GV integrates with the iPhone's native dialer/messaging apps. (On my Android, my GV number shows up on outgoing calls from the native dialer by choosing to "Use Google Voice to make all calls" in the GV app. I suspect this would be the same on the iPhone. However, texts sent using the native messaging app (not GV) come from my actual cell number -- even if I change the "Callback" number to my GV number.) I suppose I could train her to use GV for messaging, but GV does not handle MMS or group texts -- it just ignores them! I don't care about this, but my 20 year old daughter does!
Regarding being unable to port the number back into Verizon, is this a restriction because it is a former Verizon number? As I understand it, I can log into MyVerizon and choose to "Change Mobile Number" on one of my active contracted lines. There is an option to port in a number to replace the number currently on that line. Other threads suggest that porting from Google Voice works the same as a landline port. Has anyone tried this and had success/failure?
