Quantity, Discount and Gift Box now showing
I have an issue that I am not sure can be fixed but will try here.
I have uploaded my Muse site to business catalyst and have started setting up templates for the various E-Commerce that will be needed. SO far I have the catalog and product pages working by adding the {tag_pagecontent} to the muse site and setting the template in Business Catalyst to that page template. This has worked so far!
Now I am working on the checkout process, the first thing I am trying is the view cart. Everythng currently is working on the cart (after setting it up the same way as above) except it is not showing the boxes for quantity, discount and gift voucher. I did not change anything in the layout itself except the template. It will be hard for people to see that they can change it there without the box.
Any suggestions to correct this would be appreciated.
They are in the original layout which I have not changed. It is as soon as I apply the template with the {tag_pagecontent} from muse when it changes

How do I recover the data on my iPad2? It abruptly quit while I was shutting down and started playing Gaga's Scheibe from "Born this Way" -- it was not coming from My Music or iTunes. I pressed both home key and side button to get it to stop and plugged it in to recharge. The USB connector to iTures screen showed up and that's as far as I can go. Had an appointment at the "genius bar" this morning and all they tell me is that they can "restore" which will not save any info I have. The last backup I did was April 2013 (I know, very stupid of me). iTunes does not recognize the device. It's all greyed out and I get a window that says iTunes detected an iPad in Recovery mode. That's as far as I can get. I really don't want to lose any data. Please help me. Thank you. Nancy
You have no choice but to lose your data back to the last backup you made.
Here's how to do the recovery. Note you may have to try to get into recovery mode more than once to succeed:

Once clear Triggers in Tool Tips, now showing white in IE, after newest update?
I had published on catalyst, and tool tips were clear... after newest Muse udpate the tool tips triggers are now showing as solid white in Explorer. They still look and work fine on my Mac in
both Firefox and Safari.
I cannot go in and access the triggers anymore because they are clear - and there is no frame or way to edit!
1. what is going on with the white boxes now showing.
2. how would I make a change/move/add to a trigger in tool tips once they are 'filled clear'?1. If you can post a link it would make it easier for team/forum to help out.
2. Yes that does suck and we've all done it. The standard workaround when going for a clear/no fill look is to set the opacity to 1% with a color that matches what's beneath it. Doing so ensures that it is editable after the fact using the standard click method. The good news is you can get it back, but it often takes a neurosurgeons touch and patience.
The program is nano sensitive in this state, in my experience. So find the area with your 'missing/non responsive' trigger and very carefully hover the mouse around in micro increments until the trigger is dicovered. Then very carefully click on the dark orange bounding box until you get the blue bounding box. (Note-The cursor must be in the arrowhead state to get this to work. Not the arrow with the tiny black box and not the arrow with the stem. Just the arrowhead). Once you've rediscovered your trigger (blue bounding box) do not click again or else you'll have to start this all over. You will now notice at the top left in your menu that the trigger is selected and you can change the fill from there using the 1% workaround. One other trick to help fascilitate the process-zoom in.
Keep this in mind for all elements in Muse when going for the invisible look.

LSO FE - No Trainings in "Messages and Notes" - Box
Hello LSO-Gurus,
my Problem concerns the following aspects:
A Learner has some Prebookings for Trainings. The Course Administrator creates some new Trainingappointments but in the Learning Portal the Learner is not able to see these new dates. The Messages and Notes box stil shows the "No Messages"-Text.
we are on EHP 4. I deleted local cookies and refreshed the Servercache, but the new dates are still not visible. Any Ideas?

Somehow my MacBook (vintage) is now showing a black text box that continues to type and also speak what I am doing. There is also a blk border text box that follow me in the page itself. How do I get this turned off?
What version of Mac OS X? Do you have the original (or any) system disk?

For some reason my computer won't let me download any new music it lets me buy them on itunes and then they show up as purchased but they don't acutally show up in my library. The other thing is that my computer automatically sends any new music to my phone over my wifi so these new purchased songs show up on my Iphone but not in my library. When I try to download new purchases in itunes it brings up an error message that says "There were problems downloading some purchased items"
Select the Recently added playlist and see if they show up there.

They are being downloaded from the iTunes store, not syncing from yrou computer.
Settings > iTunes & App stores.
If Automatic donwloads is set to On, whenever you make a purchase using any device/computer, they will be automatically downloaded to your phone. -
Show quantity discounts only for wholesale
I have consumer and wholesale pricing set up. Wholesale has quantity discounts which work when you login and add a quantity to the field. The problem is the way I have it now you can't see what those price breaks are. My question is, how do I display those price breaks without also showing them to consumers? Consumer price is $9 per item. Wholesale prices are $4.50 for up to 99 and $3.25 for 100 to 200. Thanks
The only way would be to create a wholesale set of products and catalogues and place those behind the secure zone so that only people who are logged in can see them. Then you can use RRP field or custom fields to display that data.

I tried the free for a little while Mobile me, and didn't use it, so cancled. I cannot get the sync status roundabout arrows out of my status bar. AND, they keep trying to sync.

I've cleared almost 30 gig off of my hard drive in the past 2 weeks, and it will temporarily show that in the Get Info box. But hours later, I am still getting a disk full error and all of the memory has disappeared. I have cleared my backup logs from Time Machine, checked the mail folder, cleaned out tons of photos and videos and it still keeps filling back up.
In checking the log files, here is the message repeated over and over....

Quit Calendar. Triple-click the line below to select it:
~/Library/Calendars/Calendar Cache
Right-click or control-click the highlighted line and select
Services ▹ Reveal
from the contextual menu. A Finder window should open with a file named "Calendar Cache" selected.
Move the selected file to the Trash. There may be one or two other files in the same folder with names that begin in "Calendar Cache". If so, delete those files too.
Step 2
Empty the Trash if you haven't already done so. If you use iPhoto, empty its internal Trash as well:
iPhoto ▹ Empty Trash
Then reboot. That will temporarily free up some space.
According to Apple documentation, you need at least 9 GB of available space on the startup volume (as shown in the Finder Info window) for normal operation. You also need enough space left over to allow for growth of your data. There is little or no performance advantage to having more available space than the minimum Apple recommends. Available storage space that you'll never use is wasted space.
To locate large files, you can use Spotlight. That method may not find large folders that contain a lot of small files.
You can more effectively use a tool such as OmniDiskSweeper (ODS) to explore your volume and find out what's taking up the space. You can also delete files with it, but don't do that unless you're sure that you know what you're deleting and that all data is safely backed up. That means you have multiple backups, not just one.
Deleting files inside an iPhoto or Aperture library will corrupt the library. Any changes to a photo library must be made from within the application that created it. The same goes for Mail files.
Proceed further only if the problem isn't solved by the above steps.
ODS can't see the whole filesystem when you run it just by double-clicking; it only sees files that you have permission to read. To see everything, you have to run it as root.
Back up all data now.
Install ODS in the Applications folder as usual. Quit it if it's running.
Triple-click the line of text below to select it, then copy the selected text to the Clipboard (command-C):
sudo /Applications/OmniDiskSweeper.app/Contents/MacOS/OmniDiskSweeper
Launch the Terminal application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Terminal in the icon grid.
Paste into the Terminal window (command-V). You'll be prompted for your login password, which won't be displayed when you type it. You may get a one-time warning not to screw up. If you see a message that your username "is not in the sudoers file," then you're not logged in as an administrator.
The application window will open, eventually showing all files in all folders. It may take some minutes for ODS to list all the files.
I don't recommend that you make a habit of doing this. Don't delete anything while running ODS as root. If something needs to be deleted, make sure you know what it is and how it got there, and then delete it by other, safer, means. When in doubt, leave it alone or ask for guidance.
When you're done with ODS, quit it and also quit Terminal. -

Export to the desktop as a QuickTime movie and then right click on the QT movie file and burn to disk - teh person you give the gift to will have to have QT player on their computer to play the slideshow

I have an iPhone 3gs and it used to show up on my computer, but now it shows up on my screen that it is charging however, does not appear in iTunes or My Computer so i can't sync it. Can anybody help? Thanks.

I just bought my macbook pro and it's charged up to 100% and is still plugged in but now shows the battery at 98%. How is this possible when it's plugged in to the charger and the green light is on?
The system regularly lets the battery drop to about 95% when on the charger, then recharges to 100%. This lets the batery exercise "just a little" all of the time and saves the recharge curcuits from overuse.
Regualr occurence for me.
Also ... you need to let your battery work at least once per month. Let it run down to 40%, but not less if you can at all avoid it. Running thr battery fully dead will shorten the battery life significantly. -
Need To Create Box That Shows Previous Month Label And Amount Of Sales

I am creating a report for our salesmen and one of the fields in the report will be a text box that shows what the last month was. For instance, if the report is run this month, the report will plug July 2011 into the box because that was what last month was. Tied to this will be a salesman's total sales for last month that should show up in a box. I will place this box right next to the salesman's name on the report as the names will be static.
I have several of these to do and if I can see the method I can re-create it for the others.

You can create a formula to get last month and this formula can be placed in a text box.
dateadd('m',-1,currentdate)
or
Month(currentdate)-1&" ,"&Year(currentdate)
This formula can be placed for all your salesmans

I have made a burn folder with photos exported from I-photo. It now shows in information, that the date created and modified is different from the original digitized date. How can I get the original date to show in the info from Finder?
The Finder reports File information. The date and time of the photo are in the Photo's Exif metadata. The Finder has no awareness of this. All photos apps on any system do.
