Query_data_source_arguments Solution needed -

Question

hi everyone..
i created a block based on a procedure using refcursor as in out and a as in paramater for that procedure..
The procedure working fine wen i give a value directly through the Query_data_source_arguments but when i try to give it dynamically i mean through a text item (i gave the value for this parameter as :text) then it produce "Unable to perform query" error.
Then later i changed the Query_data_source_arguments back to a directly value.. but now it shows me "Unable to perform query"
I dono wat happening with my procedure. My proc works fine in sql plus. i tested.

Sorry if i missed to explain something ...
I didnt wanna change query_data_source_column
i wanna change QUERY DATA SOURCE ARGUMENTS
(i mean i wanna pass arguments to my procedure so that the ref cursor will be opened according and rows will be fetched according to the value i give( In WHERE clause)).
I wanna give this QQUERY DATA SOURCE ARGUMENTS VALUE dynamically
