Query for SAP NW 7.0 and ECC
Dear ALL ,
We have purchased SAP NW 7.0 License .We have installed it with 2 components WAS ABAP and WAS as JAVA.
Now my question is: this SAP NW 7.0 installation does not contain any functional module like SAP HR.MM,FI etc...
for this requirement do we need to take a separate license of SAP ECC or do we need to install some contentson this SAP NW 7.0 server so that we can run functional code on this server????
Please suggest....
Thanks
sandeep
Hi Sandeep.
The problem is not only the license, but also the application itself. If you have installed NW, your system don't have the tables and programs needed to execute business modules like FI, SD, MM, etc.
If you need those modules, you have to install an ERP 6.0 from scratch.

New patches for SAP GUI 6.40 and the Screenreader Extension
Hi,
patch 10 for SAP GUI 6.40 and version 8 of the screenreader extension have been published on service.sap.com and ftp.sap.com.
Best regards,
ChristianHi John,
short update: I talked to the service market place team, and unfortunately the software corner is not a standard SMP site, so the nice features you know from other pages are not available, and won't be in the near future.
I will post news about new patches here, but as mentioned this is not part of the official workflow and may not always happen, for example when I'm on vacation

Integration documentation for sap sd with fico and mm
hi Sappers,
I need Documentation for SAP SD with FICO and MM Module
its very urgent.
mail id : [email protected]<b>Some basic information :</b>
FI-MM: The integration between FI-MM happens in T-code: <b>OBYC</b>
1. When PO is created :
No Entry -
2. When GR is posted
Inventory Account dr (Transaction Key BSX in OBYC)
To GRIR account (T.Key WRX in T-code OBYC)
3. When Invoice is posted
GRIR account Dr.
Vendor account Cr.
4. Payment made to Vendor
Vendor A/c Dr
To Bank Clearing A/c Cr.
Points to know : Movement Types, Assignment of Movement types to T-keys (T-code OMJJ), Value string (I also need some information on this) , OMWN and OMWB transactions.
There is a close integration b/w FI & MM, actually document flows from MM to FI in the following areas such as,
<u> 1. Movement Types:</u>
Used to enable the system to find the predefined posting rules determining how the accounts of financial accounting system are to be posted & to update the stock fields in the matrl master data.(Goods Receipt, Goods Issue, etc)
<u> 2. Valuation Class:</u>
Assignment of material to grp of gl account, used to determine the gl accounts that are updated as a result of goods movement.
<u>3. Transaction/Event key:</u>
Used to control the storage or filing of documents & assignment of documents.Used to differeniate b/w various transactions such as goods movement tht occur in inventory.
<u> 4. Material Type:</u>
Each material should assign mtrl type in mtrl master record used to update whether changes made in qty are updated in material master record & change in value also updated in stock account.
<u><b> FI-SD Integration:</b></u>
The integration is done in T-code VKOA
<u> 1. Sales Order Created</u>
-No Entry-
<u>2. PGI done (Goods issue)</u>
Cost of Goods Sold Dr (Configured in OBYC GBB T-Key)
To Inventory Account
<u> 3. Billing document released to Accounting</u>
Customer Account Dr.
To Sales Revenue Account (ERL T-key in Pricing procedure)
Note : The GL account is assigned to this ERL in VKOA
<u> 4. Payment Received</u>
Bank Clearing A/c Dr

Points to Know : Good to understand the pricing procedure and how the different transaction keys are used like ERL, ERS etc -

HI
EXPERTS CAN ANYBODY GIVE STEP BY STEP INSTALLATION PROCESS FOR BOTH
SAP 4.7 IDEAS AND EE VERSIONS I AM NOT THAT MUCH PROFICIENT IN INSTALLING I HOPE U R GUIDLINES CAN MAKE ME CLEAR IN INSTALLING I HAVE SOME QUESTIONS RATHER THAN THIS TO ANSWER
1.IS THE ISTALLATION PROCESS OF ALL SAP VERSIONS ARE SAME?
2.WHAT IS AN OBJECT IN SAP?
3.WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN COMPOSITE ROLE AND A DERIVED ROLE?
YOU CAN SEND ANSWERS TO MY MAIL ID:<b>[email protected]</b>
THANK YOU TO ALL IN ADVANCEHey Rajesh,
answers:
1) Yes, the installations procedures is almost the same for all SAP versions, however its advisible to use follow the installation guides which comes with the DVD or is also available in SAP marketplace..
2) Object is SAP is almost everything in Sap.
object could be anything like
TABLES
PROGRAMS
VIEW
FUNTTION MODULES
DOMAIN
DATA ELEMENT
STRUCTURE
and so on
3)Composite role is the combination of two or more roles(be it 2 or more single roles or combination of two or more composite roles or permutation of single and composite role).. whereas derived roles can inherit all authorization objects from the parent role and can have its own authorization objects as well..
Hope this clears your doubts.

SQVI Report for SAP CRM Product Hierarchy and its Product
Hi
How to create a SQVI report for generating a list for SAP CRM Product Hierarchy which should show the outputs->Level 1, level 2, level 3 and level 4 categories and its products?
I tried COMM_Hierarchy table and Comm_product but not able to achieve this requirement.

In which table both product id and its category Id can be found?

Query for inserting data into table and incrementing the PK.. pls help
I have one table dd_prohibited_country. prohibit_country_key is the primary key column.
I have to insert data into dd_prohibited_country based on records already present.
The scenario I should follow is:
For Level_id 'EA' and prohibited_level_id 'EA' I should retreive the
max(prohibit_country_key) and starting from the maximum number again I have to insert them
into dd_prohibited_country. While inserting I have to increment the prohibit_country_key and
shall replace the values of level_id and prohibited_level_id.
(If 'EA' occurs, I have to replace with 'EUR')
For Instance,
If there are 15 records in dd_prohibited_country with Level_id 'EA' and prohibited_level_id 'EA', then
I have to insert these 15 records starting with prohibit_country_key 16 (Afetr 15 I should start inserting with number 16)
I have written the following query for this:
insert into dd_prohibited_country
select
a.pkey,
b.levelid,
b.ieflag,
b.plevelid
from
(select
max(prohibit_country_key) pkey
from
dd_prohibited_country) a,
(select
prohibit_country_key pkey,
replace(level_id,'EA','EUR') levelid,
level_id_flg as ieflag,
replace(prohibited_level_id,'EA','EUR') plevelid
from
dd_prohibited_country
where
level_id = 'EA' or prohibited_level_id = 'EA') b
My problem here is, I am always getting a.pkey as 15, because I am not incrementing it.
I tried incrementing it also, but I am unable to acheive it.
Can anyone please hepl me in writing this query.
Thanks in advance
Regards
RaghuBecause you are not incrementing your pkey. Try like this.
insert
into dd_prohibited_country
select a.pkey+b.pkey,
b.levelid,
b.ieflag,
b.plevelid
from (select max(prohibit_country_key) pkey
from dd_prohibited_country) a,
(select row_number() over (order by prohibit_country_key) pkey,
replace(level_id,'EA','EUR') levelid,
level_id_flg as ieflag,
replace(prohibited_level_id,'EA','EUR') plevelid
from dd_prohibited_country
where level_id = 'EA' or prohibited_level_id = 'EA') bNote: If you are in multiple user environment you can get into trouble for incrementing your PKey like this. -
