Query - Grouping by Item
Am trying to have same items on a particular day be grouped under one total but even after adding sum it is giving me same items of the same day separate...

Try to leave out the docnum if you want only the sums:
SELECT T0.PostDate,T1.ItemCode, T1.ItemName,
sum(T0.PlannedQty) as 'Planned Qty', sum(T0.CmpltQty) 'Comp Qty'
FROM OWOR T0 inner join OITM T1 on T1.ItemCode =T0.ItemCode

SudhirCan you just setup an Excel/Essbase retrieval to get the data you need? You can't use SQL to query Essbase; here is a blog post that talks about it:

Since I made that post, I have found out that Essbase has now been integrated into the latest version of the Oracle BI Server and, technically, you could use SQL to query the data in Essbase via the Oracle BI Server if you have the right version.

PadmaIt looks you want to do this on the web. The first thing to be aware of is the the button group web item is only available in SAP NetWeaver 2004s BI Web Application Designer. The BW 3.x web application designer allows you to do this with javascript. Basically you have 2 options:
1. Multiple views and dataproviders and hiding and showing the different web items (similar to default template 0ADHOC).

"Delivery group 001: Item 000020 contains no confirmed schedule lines"
The item is a BOM itam and when i checked Deliverygroup for all items in BOM, it is the same for all.
Pls let me know how can i save sale order??

delivery group stands for:
for example you have entered a BOM item in line item 20.
and it contains plenty of components in that BOM
then if you assign these delivery group at transaction level then it will combine all the components material available dates and gives one single Material availability date basing on the components feasibility.
so coming to your issue, here that delivery group's 001 is not having confirmed material availabilit date so it is throwing an error on schedule lines.
i think you should go to OVZJ and check FIXED DATE AND QUANTITY against the salesarea.

I have a form region with about 50 items. They are to many too display all at the same time. What I would like to do is to group these items into three separate groups. Also I would like to place "flip" button at the top that user can press and can display one of the three item groups - one at a time.
Is the hiding and displaying of items in the described way possible without extensive Javascript coding?

Multi-query group above report creates more pages
Hi,
I have a multi-query group above report (paper only), the parent group creates 5 rows(subframes) all onto the same page, but then creates 4 more IDENTICAL pages!!?
at the end I have 5 repating frames and 5 pages.
If I set Maximum Records per Page to 1, I have 5 pages (IDENTICAL) with the first frame only...
any idea?

In Authorization screen, it allowed to authorize up to 20 query group
Whereas in Query Category window, it has only max 15 query group.

In my form, While querying my date items, it does not accepts more than 10 Characters. Could it be changeable.
Actually i want to search like greater than specified date( >01/01/2007 ).
But i can specify like >01/01/07. After tabbing out from that item, it displays like >01/01/200.
How to overcome this issue.

Previously i have made a mistake that both of my maximum length and query length property to 20. That time it was not worked. Now i changed my maximum length to the old one like 11 and i changed only the query length to 20.
Now it is working. I understood the concept wrongly.

General Item category Group is an extension item category group. Example: if one select item catagory group as NORM, but under item category group, NORM can further be classified as Service item, packagaing item or Normal
item using "general item category group".
Also, General item category group is maintained at client level, this field can be maintain from Basic Data View of Material Master. Thus in case item category group is missing, then general item category group is used for item category determination.
Item category group determines how a material is processed in the sales order. When processing sales and distribution
documents, the system uses the item category group to determine the item category and proposes it in the respective document. Item category group is defined in the Sales Org View 2 of Material Master Record.
Example, in the standard SAP System, the item category group NORM is defined for materials kept in stock and the group DIEN for services and non-stock material
