Query Jump problem

Hello,
I have query jump from Q1 to Q2. The result in the Q1 is in EUR. when I jump from Q1 to Q2 it is automatically filling Currency filled with USD and key figures are showing NOT APPLICABLE DATA. Once you remove the Currenyc USD then it is showing the correct values.
I tried to run the Q2 directly and it is woring fine. strange thing it is not working fine from Q1 Jump to Q2.
I also re-created the connection between Q1 and Q2. still no use.
Can anyone suggest?

Q2 as Currency in Free Chars.... I removed it from the Q2itself and it works fine. but I am unable to understand the reason.
Even though this works - I need to give reason for removing it, otherwise client will not allow to do this,

How you have collected the transport. Please follow the procedure given below
RSA1-> Transport Connection - >Object Types -> Report-Report Interface -> Collect the transport and assign it to transport request .

Query jump: No Web server maintained for the presentation of log. system

Hello,
I have created a query jump in the RSBBS transaction to go in R/3 through a Bex Query. When i choose the jump in the query anayzer I have the error message:
No Web server maintained for the presentation of log. system.
Do you have ever had this message? what is the solution? why do my bex anayzer use a web interface to connect in R/3?

Yes, the AIE 300 SYSTEM is R/3 system. If you think this could be a basis problem please let me know and if you can a step by step solution or something to bring to the basis.

Activation of Query jump targets

The Content activation of Query jump targets(transport object RRQA) does not work.
This problem was caused by a program error in function group RSBBS2....
Anyone please help me out as I am new to this domain....

the value '70302/20307' is not an whole number so converting it to an int is not possible.
You should check your data for this value an change your query or data.

Query designing problem while applying cell properties

Hello Experts,
I have a problem while designing query. Problem is as follow:
I have a calculated field on key figure column. This key figure calculates variance between 2 columns.
for E.g I have 2 columns Budget and Actual and third column is %Variance which should be
1. ((Actual - Budget)/Budget) *100 or
2. ((Budget -Actual)/Budget)*100, depening on some values on the row i should use any of these 2 formulas but the result should be dispalyed in single column % Variance.
how can i change the formula in key figures depending on these conditions. I can achieve this by applying cells but i dont want to do so as it is very complex way to desing these queries.
also let me know applying cells on query affects its performance or not?

But my exact requirement is not that. Requirement is as follow:
I have created Char. Structure in row which contains few rows as revenue and few rows as expense.
I created them by creating selections. Now in case of expense the variance should be (Budget-Actual)/Budget *100.
In case of revenue variance should be (Actual-Budget)/Budget *100.
So, here i have to find out revenue & expense char. iresspective of which one is greater.

Query Jump Restriction

Hello.
I have a query that provides the cumulative balance for the month figures for a GL selction structure.I do a query jump into anoother query that shows debit and credit values for the characteristic selection based on where the user clicks on the report. Now is there anyway that I can selectively restrict the jump? For instance, I have a column for For the rep period, another for for the comparison period, and then there is a variance column too. Now is there a way that I can disable jump when the user clicks the variance column (the variance is of course a formula element in my structure)?

I have the foll in the rows and columns and I need to restrict like this:
Rows:
Structure
Sales-Third Party (Selection based on hierarchy node)
Sales-Affiliates (Selection based on hierarchy node)
Net Sales (Formula)
Columns
Structure:
For the rep period     For the comp period     Variance
Now I want to disable query jump for the following because these elements in the structure will not be passing the right values to my jump query.
Row: Net Sales
Column: Variance
How do I do that?
Is there any workaround or if not is this kind of a feature available in NW04s?

this may be possible by using an openDocument URL.

Still you have to configure the auhtentication connectivity between BOBJ and SAP Backend in the BOBJ CMC console.
And setup the SSO option in the database configuration panel of your CR reports (this has also to be done in the CMC, just go to Folders, navigate to your report and invoke the context menu. You have to scroll to the the bottom of the panel in order to find the SSP option)

Query Jump with Navigation ( Sub query need to show same Navigation )

Hi All.
 We have 4 BEx queries in our Dashboard Web Template and each table web items shows 10 rows and remaining with Scorll.
 For Printing ,we have created a query jump for each BEx Query ( same copy query) that shows all the rows detail.
 When i tried to jump from Orginial Dashboard ( From Specific table/Bex Query) with drill down ( Plant by Material ) , the jump query is not showing the same drill down but it showing the default rows ( Plant as per query rows).
 SAP has suggested us its possible to do Query Jump with Navgiation that shows the same drill down path (navigation) in Sub Query as well.
 Am unable to find how to configure that , did search in OSS / Other Forumns But there were no postings on this.
 For me there is no Settings in RSBBS (or) SPRO and tried the Web Address Jump as well to pass the Drill Down Status (or) Navigation. May be iam not looking at right place. We are at 3.1x
 We found some limitations with SAP recommended web printing ( we dont need to discuss about that as per our requirement ), and our users like the Query Jump printing as which we working on now.
 Please inform if this can be possible, if so how.

Its not like just Plant by Material.
I would like to do my slicing & dicing on Navigational block with any combinations ( Customer by Plant by Material )
When i do query jump from My Original Web Table , my jump query need to show the same drill down ( Customer by Plant by Material)but its showing only Material. ( Which is a default row in sub query)
To show the same navigation in jump query as well, right now am doing drill down again in jump query as well. Its time waste to repeat the same drill down steps in sub query.
By default my Jump Query has Material as row and We will show Plant & Customer on Demand (free characteristics)
Please inform if more information required.

Failure to search - query window problem

Hello again,
Have anyone of you came across a problem with SAP search mechanism in query window attached to document field? I've created a simple query of "Select acctcode,acctname from OACT where acctcode like '2%' and postable='Y' order by acctcode" and attached it to one of document fields (doesn't matter which one). When I run this query a usual window poped up with a search field on the top, but when I typed "2" in it, selection bar moved right into first 231 account ignoring any of the lesser numbers. There is more - when I changed query to search for '5%' like accounts, I gained the same result - accounts less than 530 were ignored even if I typed "50" or "51". BUT - when I changed query sort order to "desc", all account became "findable".
I got this problem in one database only which is SAP 8.8 PL10 version upgraded recently from 2007A one. I've checked with a newly created 8.8 and such problem hasn't occured.

Problem in the variable customer exit in the query jump target

we have problem because we have created a variable time on 0CALDAY who is mapped in the cube of the stock with posting date.We launch the query for example with range 01/8/2005 31/8/2005 and the resul is OK.
Then we jump on the other query where the users wish see the result of the posting date for the period 01/8/2005 31/8/2005 For resolved this problem we have created a variable customer exit for the characteristic 0Postingdate and have inserted the code in user exit variable:

This step it does not work correctly, this why are different query?

I think, this approach does not work. Because customer exit will be finished before displaying the result set of 1st report. So the assignment to VAR2 from VAR1 does not execute then after.
I hope, In RSBBS,after assigning receiver, in the assignment details,select 'Variable' for 'Type' of 'infoobject' 0calday.And select '0Postingdate' for 'fieldname' and select 'selection options' for selection type.

Jump Query Assignment Problem

Hi all,
     I have a problem with Jump query. I have Posting Date (variable of type range) in Source Query. Target Query has Invoice Date (variable of type range). Both Posting and Invoice dates variables are identical. In RSBBS setting in the assignment details I assigned Posting Date variable to Invoice date variable. When I try to jump from source to target it is still asking for the Invoice date. Tried different options in the RSBBS assignment but still no luck.
     Any ideas as to how to send Posting Date variable values to Invoice date values.

      Both posting date and Invoice date are part of selection screen entries in both the queries. I cannot remove it.

Problem in query jump from one sender and two receivers

Hello all,
My requirement is to jump from one query to another two queries. The sender comes from infoCube A and receivers comes from ODS B and ODS C (ODS C is a copy of ODS B). The problem is that when I execute the first jump a pop up appears with a selection date. This issue does not happen when I execute the second jump (and the selection date is needed). Target queries are identical, and I don´t know what is happening.
Any ideas?

Hi Carmen,
I think you have used the same variable for the day selection for the query on ODS C and ODS B. Hence when you fill it for the first time it does not ask you at the second instance.

Jump Query (RRI) Problem: not showing particular record......

In BI, i have 2 queries and implementing Jump query so that after selecting 1 material from 1st query should give me details of that particular material in second query.
But in my case, i am getting details of all the materials and not the details of particular material from 1st material.
Might be i am doing some mistake at RSBBS level.
In RSBBS assigment level i am using:
InfoObject = Material
Type = InfoObject
Field Name = 0Material
Selection Type = Parameter (i tried everything here like single value, selection option)
could u pls. let me know how can i solve it.

Hi,
First Goto RSBBS and Give your query name that means which query is sender then in next tab give your infoprovider name
then click on create button it ask the receiver query give your send query. When your run the sender query select any row click on right click it shows your send query name click on that it's goto next query.
