Hi Madhav,
If your customer really have a security standard to exchange while intercating FTPS then you have to deploy the serticiates on PI server.
But you have different options while configure FTPS adater,chech below my blog.

SAP Query into FTP through ABAP
Hi Experts,
I have an SAP query which needs to be run on a daily basis (through a back ground job) and the data that is pulled has to be stored in a file in tab delimited format and the same should be extracted to an FTP site. Can you please suggest ways for this?
Thanks,
Shashank.Hi ,

EXPORTING
pernr = '000000019'
infty = '01'
BEGDA = '18000101'

tables
infty_tab = p0008
EXCEPTIONS
INFTY_NOT_FOUND = 1

LOOP AT p0008.
NOT SURE WHAT TO PUT IN THIS SECTION *****
ENDLOOP.
I have created 3 additional Fields in the infoset Current FTE ,FTE1 FTE2 , and I want to loop through the records and populate the relevant Additional field with the employees FTE (I only want to populate where there is a change)
Sample Data

Hey Folks,
I have been trying to get FTPS Adapter to work in BT 2010 for two days and can't seem to crack it.
I keep getting the Windows Event Log Error 'The adapter "FTP" raised an error message. Details "Unable to connect to FTP server "xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx" as user "xxxx". Inner Exception details: "The specified client certificate hash is invalid. Provide a valid
client certificate hash. ". ".'
I have logged into the machine as the same account as the host instance is running as, added the certificate to the personal store and the trusted route store, taken the hash from the certificate and populated it in the SSL Section of the Adapter as depicted
on Mikael's blog post on it http://blogical.se/blogs/mikael/archive/2010/09/26/how-to-use-the-new-ftps-adapter-with-biztalk-2010.aspx
I can connect with an FTP client from the same box and have been able to replicate this on two separate machines (one inside the firewall) and another on a 3G network.
I have followed Thiago's Hotrod post on this and also granted the RecieveHost user account Manage Private Keys on the cert.
The FTP log files don't show anything, just some inital communication between BizTalk and the FTP Server but no certificate errors etc...
Can anyone shed any light on what I'm missing?
CheersHi,
Dan has a good point about storing the key and account. Host for FTP adapter runs in a certain host instance. The account for that host instance needs to have access to the certificate. You there need to log in to your machine and place the certificate
in the appropriate certificate store. The resources below can help you out.
For a checklist of steps to install the certificates see:
Checklist: Installing and Configuring Certificates:
http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/gg634541%28v=BTS.70%29.aspx
Beside the checklist you can review these resources on MSDN:

Installing and Configuring Digital Certificates :http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/gg634475%28v=BTS.70%29.aspx
BizTalk Server uses two types of certificate stores, the Other People certificate store for public keys, and the Personal certificate store for each host instance service account for the private key:

Query re FTP adapter : Message Status
Hi All,
For an FTP adapter, if a message is in 'To BE Delivered' or 'Delivering status', what could be the possible reasons for the same.
Thank you in adv.Hello,
With regard to the message status 'Waiting to be delivered', it means that the message is successfully delivered from Integration Server but got stuck in the queue. Can you please check whether the queues are registered. Go to SMQR transaction. You will get a list of queues. The next column is 'Type' which should show 'R' (Registered). Most cases the queues would have been configured and registered. Anyway please check it. Also check tcodes SMQ1 and SMQ2 to find any queues. If you find, release them by just pointing at the queue and unlocking it.
I herewith provide a thread which explain more about this issue. Hope this should be useful:-
To Be Delivered
if some messages are in DLNG status...then other messages which are in ToBeDelivered state are waiting for the resources to get processed...

SQL query for "Client Certificate" status
Hello,
From the SCCM console, I can check if a given computer does have a valid PKI certificate or not (status from the column "Client Certificate").
I would to build a collection to identify computers without valid PKI certificate but I cannot find the equivalent.
Any suggestion ?
Regards.Hi,
I just found there is a "Https State Flags" attribute in "Configuration Manager Client SSL Configurations" class.
This could be selected in Criterion Properties.
Hope this could help you.

How to configure certificates for FTPS
Hi, ALL,
I have to send FTP files to and from outside server using like (SAP XI proxy>FTP, FTP>SAP Xi proxy). I would like to use secure FTP (FTPS). How I can configure it in both sender and receiver FTP adapter? Does the certificate at XI has to be signed by Trusted authority or I can do self signed? Does the outside server need to get the FTP certificate also? Can anybody provide step by step solution?
<promising_points_removed_by_moderator>
Thanks a lot!
MeiyingHi,
It depends if the FTP server certificates are signed for a CA installed in TrustedCA view. The TrustedCA view is a netweaver administration option included in Keystore application.
For example, if the FTP server certificate is signed by verising, SAP contains the certificate of verising installed in TrustedCA, therefore you not have to do anything, but if the server certificate is a certificate created for you, you will have to install the CA wich you signed the certificate.
In my case, I put files into a FTPs server that have a certificate signed by verisign and I haven't to do anything in TrustedCA view because the CA was installed.
In FTP adapter you must to select the FTPS option to communicate to FTP server through SSL.
Best regards

Multiple BSR codes In TDS Certificate
Hi Team,
I have a query regarding TDS Certificate BSR code.
Here my client is paying the amount some times thru online(at this time we will get one BSR code) and some times he will issue check(this is different BSR code) and some time will pay cash(this is different BSR code).
While printing TDS certificate Standard SAP will get only one BSR code but how can i control these multiple BSR codes in Certificate printing.
Regards,
Nagaraju.Modify your Certificate printing program to determine the BSR codes based on payment method. For this, you'll have to capture the payment method info somewhere in your transaction. Also, the three BSR codes for the Bank in different fields in the Bank master.
Otherwise, create three different accounts for the same bank and branch and use them for different payment methods. But this way, you'll run into issues while doing your BRS.

Exchange 2013 Certificate Question
Hi,
I have an Exchange 2013 and AD servers running on server 2008 R2. When you go to create an outlook account you are prompted that a certificate for mydomain.com.au has expired. When you click to view this certificate, it is referring to "www.mydomain.com.au".
Once you accept the message it goes away, the outlook account sets up OK and the message does not show again unless you set up another account.
The internal domain name is internal.mydomain.com.au. The Exchange server has a valid purchased SSL certificate that applies to autodiscover.mydomain.com.au, mail.mydomain.com.au, mydomain.com.au and the exchange servers internal name until 2015. The "www."
cert and website for this domain is separate to the internal servers and mail. The cert for the website has indeed expired but my question is even though it is the same domain why would this internal exchange server be querying the www. certificate when creating
an outlook account.
Bit of a tricky question hope I have explained it OK.
Thanks RobbieHi Robbie,
Your certificate expired issue may occur when using the Autodiscover service and Outlook Anywhere service. Please follow these steps to have a check:
1. verify the FQDN that the client users to access the resource from Outlook:
a. Start Microsoft Outlook.
b. Click File > Account Settings, click Account Settings.
c. Click the E-mail tab, click the Exchange account, and then click Change.
d. Click More Settings, and then click the Connection tab.
e. “Connect to Microsoft Exchange using HTTP” should be checked, then click Exchange Proxy Settings.
f. Note the FQDN that is listed in the Only connect to proxy servers that have this principal name in their certificate box. For example, mail.contoso.com.
2. Run the following command in Exchange to determine the value for the CertPrincipalName attribute for EXPR name:
Get-OutlookProvider
For example, the command returns the following:
msstd:server1.contoso.com
3. Modify the CertPrincipalName attribute to match the FQDN that Outlook uses to access the resource:
Set-OutlookProvider EXPR -CertPrincipalName:"msstd:<FQDN the certificate is issued to>"
For the Autodiscover service checking, please open outlook - press CTRL key - right click on the Outlook icon from right bottom corner taskbar - Test Email AutoConfiguration. Put your email address - uncheck use guessmart and secure guessmart authentication
- click Test to check your Autodiscover service. If possible, please post the Results tab here for more troubleshooting.

OT: FTP problems with DW? Mention the Dreamweaver version
Hi all,
I request all of you to post the version of Dreamweaver when you post queries on FTP related issues. There were a number of bug fixes made in the 12.0.3 and 12.2 update, and it would be of value for the product team to know whether these fixes have helped resolve the problem, and any pending issues.
For users that have made it to these updates, use this post as a sounding board for problems you are still facing with FTP. Having these posts in one place will ensure that we have one link to capture this information.
Moderators and experts: Please request users for the version of DW when they post a query on FTP related issues.
Thanks,
PreranWhat firewall do you use? I would sooner think a setting on a
firewall got
changed somehow. I have had this happen to me from time to
time even though
I haven't changed anything myself.

I successfully obtained root and identity certificates at the beginning. But when I reloaded the client it could not get its certificate.
Can anybody give my some light - what did I miss?
With best regards,

Is there anything else I have to check?

Monitoring pending certificate expirations
We have a number of public web sites that use certificates and we'd like to use SCOM to provide warnings about pending certificate expirations. Is there a certficate services management pack, or a monitor or rule in an existing pack (like the IIS or windows OS packs) that will tell us when a given certificate is about to expire?
Shajeer,
The only way to really do this is to query the local certificate store on each server. This is possible with powershell, but you must have powershell installed on any server that you wish to monitor. (I believe it's there by default for Win2k8, but you'll need to install it on Win2k3 servers).
Here's a power shell script that will query the local computer store and perform date arithmatic to determine if any resident certs will expire in 30 days or less. If any are found, then it will call the eventcreate utility that's native to windows to generate an eventID number 989. You can then create a monitor that checks for this event ID. But first you'll need to run this script on a periodic basis, which you can do by creating a Timed Event rule. Unfortunately, the timed event rules let you either run a VBS script or an OS command, but not a powershell script. So we have to use the OS command option to run powershell. The OS command you would run is powershell.exe -file certtest.ps1 This causes some additional complications because the contents of the script below would have to be placed into a file called certtest.ps1, and then this file would have to be distributed to a common directory on any server you want to monitor. You could alternatively use the Task Scheduler service on each machine to run this script periodically, but that get tedious in large environments.
Of course, you could always write a .vbs script and then you could put the script logic directly in the rule, but I'm not much of a VB programmer.
*** Start of Script ***
$currentdate = get-date
$certabouttoexpire = "false"
cd cert:\localmachine\my
$certstoredate = gci | % {$_.GetExpirationDateString()}
foreach($x in $certstoredate)
$certdate = get-date "$x"
$daysremaining = ($certdate - $currentdate).days
if ($daysremaining -lt 30)
$CertAboutToExpire = "True"
if ($certabouttoexpire -eq "True") {eventcreate /L System /T Warning /SO CertWarning /id 989 /D "A Certificate on this system will expire in 30 days or less. Use the Certificates MMC snapin on this machine to identify the certificate"}

Regarding certificate subject and LDAP -Autherization Failed
my query is about certificate subject detail and users in ldap.
from certifciate the credentails are liek this :UID=dg36468, OU=90301029, CN=DPN 00000001, C=UK, O=Vectury
and in LDAP Credential are at the location :cn=DPN 00000001,ou=people,ou=partners,ou=identities,o=abc-dmz (doing ldap lookuop in this grp for above certificate cresential)
my query is that whether the request will be authorized or not ..in my program its not authorizing and i am expecitng that in LDAP the user loacation should be as lik ethis :
cn=DPN 00000001,OU=90301029,c=UK,o=Vectury. m i thinkng right or wrong?
can anybuddy gve a help to me to get it resolved.
Thanks in Advance,
AdiHi Subbarao,
This is happening because of the time difference. The default time difference for Kerberos is 5 mins.

Saving report output to a file on the server.
Hi,
We are using BI Publisher Standalone version 10.1.3.3.1.
Is it possible to schedule a report to output to a file on the server?
I want the whole report to be saved as a file on the server.
This is somewhat similar to bursting to a file system, but, I don't want to split the output.
Any help is appreciated.
Thanks,
NandaYes, use the scheduler and schedule the report,
do the bursting into FTP or
schedule the report to run and run it into FTP as a single FILE.
First option, you need to provide the query , with FTP server name, username, password etcccc.
