Hi,
The balance must for the postings happened during those dates, there can be some postings prior to that date (Opening balance) and which when included the total balance must be netting to zero. Please check.

  • Regarding open items in credit management

    Dear friends
My query is that is it possible to restrict credit management for credit and debit open items? See i am using oldest open item blocking in my scenario. Now credit and debit amounts are both considered as open item for credit management. I want only invoice (Debit entry) for consideration and not his payment(credit entry).
Please advise is it possible or not and if possible where to define that???
    With regards
    Inder

    Hi,
All business have their own credit management needs, SAP allows you to specify your own automatic credit checks based on a variety of criteria. You can also specify at which critical points in the sales and distribution cycle the system carries out these checks.
    SM30 - Table/View
    V_TVTW – Define Distribution Channel
V_TVTA_KKB – Assign sales area to credit control area
V_T014 – FI - Define Credit Control Area
T001CM - FI – Assign Permitted Credit Control Area to company code
OVXG - Set up Sales Areas
    e.g. Sales Organization
Distribution Channel Division Distribution Channel Division
    FD32 - Customer Credit Management
OVAK - Define credit limit check by sales document type
    Check Credit
A – Credit limit check and warning message
B – Credit limit check and error message (no sales order can be created)
C – Credit limit check and delivery block (block delivery if hit credit limit)
Options B and C -> used for checking open order values (when you create/change the sales order)
D – Automatic credit control with open order values
More control in transaction OVA8 - Automatic credit control
You check for open orders and deliveries, or just open deliveries.
or open order values with other options
    Credit group
Allows you to combine different sales document types for the credit limit check
VKM1 - Blocked SD Documents – Finance have to released the delivery block
OVAD - Define credit limit check by delivery order
whether the automatic credit check occurs at the time of delivery creation and/or goods issue
OVA7 - Define credit limit check by item category
Set whether to include/exclude item category for credit limit check
OVA6 - Define credit group. You can groups together different business transactions which should be dealt with in the same manner with regard to the credit check.
You enter the credit groups when you configure the sales document types for credit management and define the (D – automatic credit check).
    SAP default credit groups
01 – credit group for sales order
02 – credit group for delivery
03 – credit group for goods issue
OVA8 - Automatic credit control – Double click on the line items
You can have the followings credit limit check :-
    Static
Depends on the customer total value of open orders, deliveries, billing documents and open items.
    Open items
    No of days open
Overdue open items checks is based on the ratio of open items that are overdue by a certain number of days.
    Max open items %
The customer balance must not exceed a certain percentage.
    Oldest open items
If you don’t want to deliver to the customer at all when even only 1 invoice is overdue.
Tick the Check for Oldest Open Item and Set the field Days oldest item = 1.
    Days oldest item
No of days allowed for overdue or payment terms.
Use of the credit check Oldest Open Item. If a user attempts to alter the order quantity of a released sales document
that was previously blocked, it would be reblocked again by the system. The system only reblocks the sales document if the new order quantity is above a certain % amount.
    Released documents are still unchecked
The preset % is whatever you want to set it as when configuring your automatic credit processing. You enter a deviation % and number of days,eg, you can set it so that an order can be changed by up to 10% within 30 days of original order entry date without it going back on credit block.
    Next Review Date
If a customer has a credit limit of 1000 USD, and you would like to restrict this credit limit only to be available in current month (say March). If the document day is in April then the credit limit is zero.
You can use the “NextReview date” and “Number of days” fields and combined it with the “Last int.review” field in customer credit master “Status” view (FD32).
VOKR - Display of work list for credit management (configure the display variant)

  • Regarding Open items in Tcode OVA8 in Credit Management

Assignment of Credit control area to sales area is not maintained& Item category is not credit active. But it is blocking some customers for open items for order. I want to know the reason. and also. Credit limit is defined for all customers &Credit control area is defined for all Customer master data. But blocking only 2 customers for open items . I will be thankful if any one answer to the reply . And i want to know the implication of open items in OVA8.

  • Regarding open items

    Hi gurus,
I have an issue in regarding the open items uploading when we upload the GL, AP, AR balances from the legacy system, the client requirement is to view the Customer balances and Vendor Balances as Invoice wise and to for each and every customer
and send me the documents and Tcodes of procedure of Uploading activities
    surapaneni79 at the rate gmail
    Warm Regards

    Hello,
For uploading you need to create seperate GL masters you create one account group for upload accounts. Under that grp you need to create all accounts. All are balance sheet Accounts. GL Balance Upload Ac, Customer Balance Upload Ac, Vendor Master Upload Ac, Asset Master Upload Ac, Material Upload Ac. You should take the trail balance of the company and chose all gl accounts with balances. Use LSMW upload GL balance upload.
Ex-Vendor Account: Vendor balances always shows credit balance and client want to upload line item wise ex line items are: 1000, 2000, and 3000 then
    Vendor Upload Ac Dr
To Vendor Ac 1000 To Vendor Ac 2000 To Vendor Ac 3000
Ex-GL Accounts: these GLu2019s always shows debit balances. When upload GLu2019s the entry will be
    Salaries A/c Dr
    To GL Upload A/c
    Thanks

  • Query regarding Opened/Closed GL periods

    Hello Gurus,
ive got an issue, when using 0FIGL_C01 Cube.
The query ive created balances on cumulative balance (as key figure) and GL account names (as hierarchy).
Now i want to show the data of cumulative balance regarding closed periods.
I.e. if we have current April month the balance should be 0, but all other in the past January, February, March should be displayed.
How it is possible to do this?
Ive tryed to create a calculated key figure, whith code something like:
IF debit and credit == 0 then Cummulative balance=0 else Cumulative balance.
It works fine but it shows also the postings of current period, which isnt realy closed.
Tried to search the indicators of FI open/closed periods, but the only thing i found is S_ALR_87003642 - Open and Close Posting Periods transaction showing Company code, GL account ranges and from to period data.
What could be the sollution for this? Should i create new DS for the mensioned TC and then to create a multicube or perhaps is a better and faster way in doing it?
    Thanks a lot in advice

I'm not sure what you mean here: "let the database contorl the iteration of this huge dataset - with cursors".
Generally speaking you have 2 options when it comes to parallel processing:
Parallelize processes in the ABAP stack. These processes access different, non-overlaping, parts of your restult set
in parallel. Using the BELNR could be an approach to build different, non-overlapping paackages.
Database side parallelization. This is possible for every action that uses multiblock I/O (full table scans and index fast full scans) and for partitioned segments. For non-partitioned segments and single block I/O database side parallelization is not possible.
So, generally speaking, you have 3 options:
1.) parallelize in ABAP and build idependent packages
2.) force the DB to do multiblock I/O (full table scan, index fast full scan) in parallel
3.) partition your table and indexes.
I think (it's just my opinion) for an ERP (not BW / BI) system
    - option 3 is not a good option for OLTP systems (several reasons). I see it very, very, very rarely or close to never in OLTP systems
    - option 2 may read (much) more data then you would need to read, although a very efficient I/O method would be used (multibock I/O)
    - option 1 requires programming in ABAP but will read exactly the data you need to read and can be controlled very well in the ABAP stack (parallel single block I/O will be used)
In alamost all cases (that are similar to your case) i have see option 1 was used.
    Kind regards,
    Hermann

  • Query regarding Open Hub Services

    Hi All,
I am trying to find out if delta extraction is possible through open hub services to a cube which is running daily full load?
To make the scenario more clear:
I have a cube  A which is getting loaded on a daily basis (FULL LOAD) but before loading it's deleting the whole data from the cube & loading fresh full load.....this is to get the updated data...
Now I want to set up InfoSpoke for this in delta extraction mode, is this possible???
It would be of a great help if someone can explain how delta mechanism work in open hub services. Any suggestion would be highly appreciated.
    Regards,
    Kironmoy Banerjee

Can anyone tell me how to extract the master data attached to a field through InfoSpoke?
Ex: I have a field called OIS_BP in one of my InfoCube, I have created an InfoSpoke where I have mapped this filed, but when it extracts data, it will be like 0IS_BP = 1100022, or1100023, 100024 etc, we can not see he master data assigned to it, I mean we can't see the name or address of BP No. 1100022 or 1100023 or 1100024.
Can any one tell me how to add the names with these BP in InfoSpoke?

    Hi all,
from the open items report on FI-CA (transaction FPO4) it is possible to select based on the amount related to the balance at BP, CA... level.
Does anybody know how to do the same with the query of open items from BW (0FC_C07_Q0001)?
Example: We want to restrict only the open items for CA with a due amount grosser than 125 euros.
    Thanks!,

    Hi...........
May be no of Transaction was more..............due to this number of records is huge............also check if there is any reverse transaction take place...........
The base table in R/3 for open items data is DFKKOP..................check the table..........
The only problem is.........the load may take more time..............Short dump  due to Time out may occur.............or may not be............is load fails due to time out...........then try to repeat the load by reducing the data packet size............also sometimes increasing data packet size also works..................otherwise u can spili the load by selection...........

  • Open Items List Query.

    Hi all,
    Could you please advise if itu2019s possible to run a query in SAP based on the Open Items List in the reporting area that can detail the following;
Both AR Invoices and Credit Notes and show additional fields, taken from the AR invoice u2013 Account Manager, Item Group and Project Code?
The  Project Code and Item Group can be taken from the Item Line however the Account Manager field is located below the item line area on the contents tab.
Would someone have a query which might enable us to do this or at least give us a directing to go in ?
    Thank you,
    MB

    Hi Matthew,
    You can try this one.
It will check if the document is open on document level. The query is written so that it will give a result for every line in the document so you might have a problem if there are many line per document. For the account manager I used Sales person, I am not sure if that is what you mean.
    select
    'AR Invoice'+' '+(convert(varchar (10), t0.docnum)) as 'Document',
    (select t7.slpname from oslp t7 where t7.slpcode = t0.slpcode) as 'Account Manager',
(select itmsgrpnam from oitm t5 inner join oitb t6 on t5.itmsgrpcod = t6.itmsgrpcod
    where t5.itemcode = t1.itemcode) as 'Item Group',
    t1.project
    from
    oinv t0 inner join inv1 t1 on t0.docentry = t1.docentry
    where t0.docstatus = 'o'
    union
    select
    'AR Credit'+' '+(convert(varchar (10), t0.docnum)) as 'Document',
    (select t7.slpname from oslp t7 where t7.slpcode = t0.slpcode) as 'Account Manager',
(select itmsgrpnam from oitm t5 inner join oitb t6 on t5.itmsgrpcod = t6.itmsgrpcod
    where t5.itemcode = t1.itemcode) as 'Item Group',
    t1.project
    from
    orin t0 inner join rin1 t1 on t0.docentry = t1.docentry
    where t0.docstatus = 'o'
Let us know if it works out.

  • Creating Query to show items from open sales orders with a/p invoice

    Hi experts,
I am trying to create a query that will show what items/quantities are still in open sales orders that can now be filled by an incoming shipment of goods, processed through the a/p invoice.
This needs to be done using subqueries, which I have no experience with.  I am trying to do this using the ORDR and RDR1 tables to show the open items from the sales orders and the OPOR and POR1 tables to show items just received in to inventory.  I would like the query to show exactly the open item's, their quantities, the posting date from the sales order and the customer name that can now be filled from the new shipment through the a/p invoice.
    I appreciate the assistance,
    Hayden (on behalf of Todd)

    Hello,
    try this
    SELECT T0.[DocDate], T1.[ItemCode], T1.[Dscription],( T1.[Quantity] - T1.[DelivrdQty]) As "Open Qty" FROM ORDR T0  INNER JOIN RDR1 T1 ON T0.DocEntry = T1.DocEntry WHERE T0.[DocDueDate]  <= [%0]And ( T1.[Quantity] - T1.[DelivrdQty]) != 0
Try this query in query manager.
