Query SQ02 : restriction lines result of query

Hi everybody,
    I have prb with a query. I have created a query and infoset. I have join tables .. and I would like to add condition of clause 'where' to restrict the result of query depending on the dates. Those dates are not given in the selection screen but depends on the results of a one table included in infoset.
somebody has idea ?
Thanks.
Maya

Hi,
In the infoset you can write code to restrict the lines..
GO to the infoset in change mode..
click the extras button..
click the code tab..
choose the code section.."Records processing"
In that you will have the table structures available...use the check statement to filter the data..
Ex..
CHECK VBAK-ERDAT = SY-DATUM.
Thanks

  • How to show only the result line of a Query result ?

    Hi Experts,
    I want to show only the result line of the Query. Is this possible in query Designer ?
    In BeX Workbook, I can hide the rows but they grow or shrink dynamically and hence it is unpredictable how many rows to suppress.
    If you have any solutions/workarounds, please reply !

    VBA coding can be used to display just the Result rows.
    Somthing like this - modify as needed.
    This scans the range of query results looking to find the last row, then checks those rows to see if the word Result is found or not, deleting (or you could just hide) the detail rows.  There is also a LEAF option in BEx Boolean options that returns a 1 or 0 depending on whether a row is a detail or result that could also be used to hide rows rather than looking for the presence of "Result" in a particular column
    Sub SAPBEXonRefresh(queryID As String, resultArea As Range)
    For rownum = 17 To 64000 Step 1
    ' col 2 is the Total Result, col 3 is the User Group result
    If Cells(rownum, 2) = "" And Cells(rownum, 3) = "" Then
    lastrow = rownum - 1
    Exit For
    End If
    Next
    For rownum = lastrow To 17 Step -1
    If Cells(rownum, 2) = "Result" Or Cells(rownum, 3) = "Result" Then
    Rows(rownum).Hidden = False
    Else
    ' Rows(rownum).Hidden = True
    Rows(rownum).EntireRow.Delete
    End If
    Next
    End Sub

  • Inconsistent SDO_RELATE results when querying 2.5D data

    Oracle 11.1.0.7 with Patch 8343061 on Windows Server 2003 32bit.
    I'm getting inconsistent results from SDO_RELATE results when querying 2.5D data. Some geometries I expect to be OVERLAPBDYDISJOINT, are not always being returned by SDO_RELATE when using the OVERLAPBDYDISJOINT mask. It seems that the order of the tables makes a difference to the result.
    Here's a table with one 2.5D geometry and a 2D index:

    FROM test2 t2, test1 t1

    SELECT /*+ ORDERED */ t1.id, t2.id, sdo_geom.relate(t1.geometry, 'determine', t2.geometry,  0.0005) relate
    FROM test1 t1, test2 t2

    And this...
    SQL> SELECT /*+ ORDERED */ t1.id, t2.id, sdo_geom.relate(t1.geometry, 'determine', t2.geometry,  0.0005) relate
      2  FROM test2 t2, test1 t1
      3  WHERE sdo_relate(t2.geometry, t1.geometry, 'mask=overlapbdydisjoint') = 'TRUE'
      4  AND t1.id = 1
      5  AND t2.id = 1;
            ID         ID RELATE
             1          1 OVERLAPBDYDISJOINT
    1 row selected.This version gives the right answer.
    Can anyone explain this?

  • CohQL command line Tool select query output in file (unix)

    Ho to insert Coherence CohQL command line Tool select query result in file in unix platform. I have tried below query but failed
    query.cmd -s -c -l "select * from 'dist-example'" >myOutput.txt
    I also tried below query, result is displayed in command line but no file is created in folder.
    select * from dist-example >myOutput.txt
    I also tried one more query, result is displayed in command line but no file is created in folder.
    select * from dist-example >/opt/bin/myOutput.txt

    Hi,
    In Unix you should use query.sh instead of query.cmd
    In your case then the command would be smething like:
    query.sh -s -c -l "select * from 'dist-example'" >myOutput.txt
    You can also try using '>>' instead of '>' in order to redirect to a text file.
    Hope this helps.

  • Query Performance and Result Set Query/Sub-Query

    Hi,
    I have an infoset with as many as <b>15 joins</b> with different ODS and Master Data..<b>The ODS are quite huge with 20 million, 160 million records)...</b>Its taking a lot of time even for a few days and need to get atleast 3 months data in a reasonable amount of time....
    Could anyone please tell me whether <b>Sub-Query or Result Set Query have to be written against the same InfoProvider</b> (Cube, Infoset, etc)...or they can be used in queries
    on different infoprovider...
    Please suggest...Thanks in Advance.

    Hi Bhanu,
    Needed some help defining the Precalculated Value Set as I wasnt succesful....
    Please suggest answers if possible for the questions below
    1) Can I use Filter Criteria for restricting the value set for the characteristic when I Define a Query on an ODS. When i tried this it gave me errors as below  ..
    "System error in program CL_RSR_REQUEST and form  EXECUTE_VTABLE:COB_PRO_GET_ALWAYS....                     Error when filling value set DELIVERY..

  • SAP Query (SQ02) - Repeated Data

    Hi Gurus,
    I'm using the SAP Query tools to build a report.
    I have to compare four table but I have a problem: Data comes repeated.
    In the outbound delivery, I need to check for one position and material number the stock that I have in two differente storage type in the WM module.
    When I execute the query, the item line of the delivery as well as its quantity is repeated as much as storage bin found for this material:
    Oubound Delivery Number  Item  Material     Delivery Quantity    Storage bin    Storage bin quantity
    80000000230--1XXXXXXXX1AD1--
    60
    80000000230--1XXXXXXXX1AD2--

    80000000230--1XXXXXXXX1AD3--
    35
    80000000230--1XXXXXXXX1AD4--
    60
    I would like the result to appear as follows, but i don't any programming knoledge. I know there is an option to put some coding in the query. Could anyone guide me or give me a piece of the code that I would have to put ?
    80000000230--1XXXXXXXX1AD1--

    Assuming that you are outputting your query as an ALV list, use the sorting functionality to get the display to look exactly as you have depicted.   In the ALV display, select the first two columns and click on the sort button.

  • Conditions in infoset query (SQ02)

    Hi, I´m working with BW 3.5 And I´m using infoset query(SQ02) for link two tables.
    The second table is linked with left other join, and I need more one condition in this table, I just want the data with max(date) in table two.
    For Example:
    Table 1:
    FIELD1  | FIELD2 | NET_PRICE
    800001  | 0010   | 100.00
    800002  | 0010   | 1520.30
    800003  | 0010   | 48.54
    Table 2:
    FIELD3 | FIELD1 |  FIELD4  |BILL_QTY
    900000 | 800001 | 20080101 |10
    900001 | 800001 | 20080210 |15
    900002 | 800003 | 20080101 |10
    Result of InfoSet query (Table1-FIELD1 link Table2-FIELD1 with left other join) :
    FIELD1  | FIELD2 | NET_PRICE | FIELD3 | FIELD1 |  FIELD4  |BILL_QTY
    800001  | 0010   | 100.00    | 900000 | 800001 | 20080101 |10
    800001  | 0010   | 100.00    | 900001 | 800001 | 20080210 |15
    800002  | 0010   | 152.30    | 000000 | 000000 | 00000000 |0
    800003  | 0010   | 148.54    | 900002 | 800003 | 20080101 |10
    But the result should be:
    FIELD1  | FIELD2 | NET_PRICE | FIELD3 | FIELD1 |  FIELD4  |BILL_QTY
    800001  | 0010   | 100.00    | 900001 | 800001 | 20080210 |15
    800002  | 0010   | 152.30    | 000000 | 000000 | 00000000 |0
    800003  | 0010   | 148.54    | 900002 | 800003 | 20080101 |10
    Is possible appear only the max(field4) for de left table 2 using infoset query (SQ02)?

  • Saving result from query into CSV file

    Hi folks,
    in our application we're generating pages source using general packages (like htp, owa_util, ...). and in this part I'm a really beginner.
    I want to modify source one of our page, I want to add functionality to enable save result from query (cursor) into CSV file, to enable user choose place where generated file will be created and also change file name.
    I searched this forum and I found procedure, that could be useful:
    procedure p_getcsv is
    cursor cur is
           select 'a1' col1, 'b1' col2, 'c1' col3 from dual
       union  select 'a2' col1, 'b2' col2, 'c2' col3 from dual
       union  select 'a3' col1, 'b3' col2, 'c3' col3 from dual;
       begin
            -- Set the MIME type
            owa_util.mime_header( 'application/octet', FALSE );
            -- Set the name of the file
            htp.p('Content-Disposition: attachment; filename="test.csv"');
            -- Close the HTTP Header
            owa_util.http_header_close;
            -- Loop through all rows in EMP
            for x in cur
            loop
                -- Print out a portion of a row,
                -- separated by commas and ended by a CR
                 htp.prn(x.col1||','|| x.col2||','||x.col3|| chr(13));
            end loop;
       end;What peace of code should I add to procedure that is generating web page to enable calling this procedure and whole saving process?
    Can anybody help me with this?

    Hi Marc,
    thanks for reply, problem is that I'm not using APEX application, I'm just generating web page code straight using oracle general packages.
    But I found this solution (maybe some tunning will be good):
    In page where I want to display Download i have
      begin
             htp.anchor2 (
                           curl  =>  ... .p_getcsv'||'?term=2005&crn=123,
                           ctext => 'Download Class List'
             HTP.br;
          end;
    ...si I'm calling p_getcsv procedure:
      procedure p_getcsv( term  IN stvterm.stvterm_code%TYPE DEFAULT NULL,
                           crn   IN sirasgn.sirasgn_crn%TYPE DEFAULT NULL) is
       v_length      NUMBER;
       v_file_name   VARCHAR2 (2000);
       temp_blob  blob;
       line RAW(32767);
       begin
             DBMS_LOB.CREATETEMPORARY(temp_blob, TRUE);
             FOR i IN 1..6  LOOP
                line := UTL_RAW.CAST_TO_RAW(i||','||term||','||crn||',AAA,BBB,CCC'||chr(10));
                DBMS_LOB.WRITEAPPEND(temp_blob, LENGTH(UTL_RAW.CAST_TO_VARCHAR2(line)), line);
             END LOOP;
              v_file_name := 'ClassList.csv';
              v_length  := DBMS_LOB.getlength (temp_blob);
              -- set up HTTP header
                 -- use an NVL around the mime type and
                 -- if it is a null set it to application/octect
                 -- application/octect may launch a download window from windows
               OWA_UTIL.mime_header (NVL ('csv', 'application/octet'), FALSE);
               -- set the size so the browser knows how much to download
               HTP.p ('Content-length: ' || v_length);
               -- the filename will be used by the browser if the users does a save as
               HTP.p (   'Content-Disposition:  attachment; filename="'
                  || REPLACE (REPLACE (SUBSTR (v_file_name,
                                               INSTR (v_file_name, '/') + 1

                              CHR (13),

                 -- close the headers
                 OWA_UTIL.http_header_close;
                -- download the BLOB
                 WPG_DOCLOAD.download_file (temp_blob);

    Hello,
    I would like you to try the following to adjust your readerquotas.
    Change the values of the parameters listed below to a larger value. We recommend that you double the value and then run the query to check whether the issue is resolved. To do this, follow these steps:
    On the SharePoint 2010 server, open the Web.config file. The file is located in the following folder:
    \Program Files\Microsoft Office Servers\14.0\Web Services\PpsMonitoringServer\
    Locate and change the the below values from 8192 to 16384.
    Open the Client.config file. The file is located in the following folder:
    \Program Files\Microsoft Office Servers\14.0\WebClients\PpsMonitoringServer\
    Locate and change the below values from 8192 to 16384.
    After you have made the changes, restart Internet Information Services (IIS) on the SharePoint 2010 server.
    <readerQuotas
    maxStringContentLength="2147483647"
    maxNameTableCharCount="2147483647"
    maxBytesPerRead="2147483647"
    maxArrayLength="2147483647"

  • Using Powershell Script Run simple query in MS Access 2007 and export the results of query to Excel

    Hi Experts,
    I have a Access 2007 DB file and 2 Big tables inside that (bigger than the size that can be easily handled by MS Excel 2007).
    My requirement is automate using powershell scripts the below things.
    1. Create a SQL query in Access DB and save that in access DB
    2. Run the saved query and export the result in excel sheet where I can create the charts and Pivots. Thanks in advance
    Prajesh

    Do you have to use the Access query, couldn't you just recreate the query in Powershell?  Here's a link with good info that references an existing script for querying an Access database:
    http://blogs.technet.com/b/heyscriptingguy/archive/2009/08/13/hey-scripting-guy-can-i-query-a-microsoft-access-database-with-a-windows-powershell-script.aspx
    Once you have your dataset you can pipe it to
    Export-Csv -NoType c:\pathtofile\output.csv

  • Display data of query in Analysis Process Designer mismatch query result

    Hi experts,
    I am having an issue with APD.when ii am display data of the query in apd i am having wrong values for key figures.
    any solutions?
    Thanks

    Hi,
    after doing a check by restricting data in the query, I see that the condition I have set in the query, to only give me the data where keyfigure X <= 2, the DSO is updated with all the values. So it seems that conditions in queries are ignored by the APD. Does anybody know anything more about this? Then I can understand why the job was taking so much time...

  • How to configure a sql query of 110 lines in a DB Adapter

    Hi all,
    I have a sql query which is 110 lines and i need to use "select"operation in DB Adapter.I dont understand where to put the query in DB Adapter.I worked on a sql query which is 3 or 4 lines but this is the first time iam working on a sql Query with 110 lines.
    Please help me.Give me sme link or any document that i can refer.
    Thanks,
    Kiran

    HI,
    Please use the option of Custom Sql and paste it there.
    it does not matter what operation are you using but the xsd will form accordingly.
    If you need to do only via Select operation in the wizard, than select the tables and add pararmeters in the next screen and try to give the logic there.
    I feel the best thing to do would be with the Custom Sql query.
    And whatever variables you need to pass dyanamically.
    Just put an # symbol before to the column name .
    The variable will be formed.
    Thanks,
    Tirumala Dixit.

  • Suppress the unit of measure (EA) from appearing on each line of a query.

    Hello and Happy new year.
    How can you suppress the unit of measure (e.g. EA for a material) from appearing on each line of a query output?
    Many thanks.

    Hi Matt,
    You're right, we can use that option. However, as you said, if row/column contains same UoM. My reports are quite complex, they contains different UoM.

    Hi Harris,
    I think <b>Crystal Reports</b> is best suited for your needs and not <i>BEX</i>. Crystal Reports is designed to handle report <b>LOOKS</b> better than any BW Query Preview tools.
    You have to have some knowledge in <i>Java Scripting</i> to add that blank line...
