Query Translation in Portuguese

Hello All,
As per my understanding, when you login in different language(portuguese) and run the query, it should automatically translate entire content in Portuguese language right??
But when I do so, I am still getting all the text elements and headings in EN.
I tried using SE63 to translate the query, but it says texts not found.
What is the exact procedure to translate the queries in different language.
Thanks-

That would be a great idea! I have my mobile settings to Portuguese (Portugal) and Spotify assumes Brazilian Portuguese...

  • Any chance to be translated to portuguese?

There is any chance to translate Business Catalyst to portuguese? and the templates? i am doing my best to build a website for my family business but theres a lot off buttons on the templates form that i don´t know how to translate, like the user account form menu dropdown content :Mr.. Miss, Mistress, Dr.
i love the idea of build and manage a ecomerce with business catalyst but this is making it impossible.

I would like to think that THAT is sort of the function of this new forum. I think it's a brilliant move to create a forum right in their backyard to listen to the market and really gauge what consumers like, don't like, and want.
If I were Canon, I would use it to really help get out products that get consumers excited about new products, because it turns out to have 90% of what they were hoping and griping about

  • HQL/SQL query translator error on SJSAS 8.1 EE

I encountered an error while executing hibernate query in my app and the log message is shown below.
    [#|2006-09-20T13:27:02.956-0400|WARNING|sun-appserver-ee8.1_02|javax.enterprise.system.stream.err|_ThreadID=12;|
CharScanner; panic: ClassNotFoundException: org.hibernate.hql.ast.HqlToken|#] I am using HIberante 3 and I do have antlr-2.7.2.jar in my classpath. And I am using org.hibernate.hql.classic.ClassicQueryTranslatorFactory class instead of
org.hibernate.hql.ast.ASTQueryTranslatorFactory. I have also added the antlr-2.7.2.jar in classpath-prefix in domain.xml. Did anybody encounter the same problem? Please advice.
    Thanks.

I fixed this problem by adding/changing two files: sun-web.xml and srever.policy.
    In sun-web.xml
    <sun-web-app>
    <class-loader delegate="false"/>
    </sun-web-app>  In server.policy
    grant {
       permission java.security.AllPermission;
}; I am not if this is a good solution but it works.
    Thanks.

  • Crystal Reports and BW Query- Translation

    Hello,
I'm trying to use Crystal reports with BW Query in the Hebrew Language.
When i open the Crystal Reports and connect to SAP I'm putting the Hebrew language key in the logon screen. When the crystal report starts i can see the reports info objects but without the Hebrew description. I can see that in the formula fields the Language key is selected but shouldnt i get the info objects description as well?
    Thanks,
    David

    Hi David,
when I create a new report (using the SAP toolbar) I always get the descriptions for the info objects on the field explorer according to the language I set when I logon on into the SAP system my query resides in. I tried with both english and german language and it works fine. I assume you have installed the hebrew language pack for CR and that the hebrew descriptions are maintained in your SAP system. I also assume that you are talking about creating a report here and not opening an existing one though. In this case the language at creation time defines which descriptions are displayed.
If the above assumptions are valid, then you may face a hebrew language specific problem here. Opening a support case would probably make sense.

  • Query Translation with the Scratch Editor

    Hallo,
it seems the scratch editor has some issues with some MS Access queries.
Convertion from Table Creation Queries work well.
Trying to translate Update Queries or Insert Queries often fail.
For example look at this one:
    UPDATE tbleC_Check_Reporting
    INNER JOIN KORDOBA
    ON tbleC_Check_Reporting.[A Kontonummer KORDOBA] = KORDOBA.BS_KTO_NR
    SET tbleC_Check_Reporting.Umsatz = KORDOBA.BSE_DATUM_JJJJMMTT;
Translating it i get the error:
    Unknown Object: unexpected AST node:
    EXEC_PARAM_LIST: Line -1 Column -1
What can be the problem ?
    Thanks,
    Jochen

    Hi Jochen,
    Thanks for the feedback.
    I have logged a bug
6281243: ACCESS UPDATE / INSERT JOINS NOT RECOGNISED
    to track this issue.

  • Portuguese language translation

    Hi,
I read somewhere that Portuguese language used to be support by MXKollection. Where can I get the tNG.res.php for that language.
Isn't there a repository for user created language files?

I am currently doing a translation into Portuguese of ADDT's "resources" folder while I working in a new project. I'll post a link to a portuguese version of it as soon as I get done.
Hope you guys can wait a little bit. :)

  • Which team can help if the name of iView is not translated in other languag

    Hi All,
Do you know which team can help if the name of iView is not translated in other language such as Portuguese?
    Thanks,
    Eda

Above statement is correct: contact Portal Team to debug the iView/application.
But you need to also check with your IT team - because it might be the case that the proper browser setting/network setting is figured to be EN (English - assuming).
To test, you yourself can verify if it's the case, change the browser language to Portuguese and test the application. If it gets translated to Portuguese, then that means it's the browser/network/ISP setting/configuration.

  • How can I add more options of alternate languages to the "Spec Name" translations?

The options should appear on a GSM specification when I click on the little globe besides Spec Name, ShortName, Description, and other fields. But I cannot find where to configure that list of languages so that I can add the ones I need for proactive translations.

You can definitely add more languages.
    1. Check out the configuration guide: Multi-Language Support for Proactive Translations section.   It will tell you how to activate them in the database.
    2. Once activated, you will need to assign them to the users that can add translations.  You do this in UGM on the user profile.
    3.  Once languages have been added to the user, the user will see the language options in the proactive language popup.
Hope this helps.  Let me know if you have any further questions.
    Kelly
Just as a reference, in addition to our National Language Support packs we support the following languages for proactive translations:

    German
    Dutch

  • Need help about tags being automatically translated by BC

One of our biggest client operates in Brazil. Unfortunately BC currently has no Portuguese version and some tags within BC are automatically translated by the engine as for example the {module_webformresults}. We have no choice but to select Spanish as the default language for the site and you can see the results here: http://prntscr.com/113rw7 We know that one option is to use custom fields instead of the email, address, etc fields provide by BC, but this not a good choice because we still have some texts being automatically translated in spanish by BC. Furthermore, if a customer fills wrongly a field, the pop up warning window show the text in Spanish too and we are not able to translate to Portuguese.
Someone have a good advice, besides to tell BC to built a Portuguese version? (which we already offer to them to translate the dictionaries but they didn´t accept it.)

WELL. Finally, we got an answer from BC:

I am afraid adding a new culture in the system is not an easy task, and it's not on our near term roadmap.
As a workaround you can use the steps described in this article - http://forums.adobe.com/docs/DOC-2363 (scroll down to "Redirecting the Web Form confirmation page") to redirect the user to a custom webpage you can style according to your needs (customize the message displayed).
Regarding the alert messages displayed by the webform validation script those are even easier to customize. Simply open up the page the form is inserted to and translate the error messages.
The output of the {module_webformresults} module can also be customized using javascript. This way you can basically change any text into any placeholder on the site's front-end.
Using this method is really simple, take a look at this tutorial - http://www.w3schools.com/jquery/html_text.asp
And here is a more detailed description of how to change text strings using jQuery - http://api.jquery.com/text/
The only thing that cannoe be translated is the email the customer receives by email, the strings there cannot be altered unfortunately using the method described above.
I have also forwarded this as an enhancement request to the product management team. They will ***** its priority and decide when this feature will be implemented in one of the future releases.
    Kind regards,
    Mihai Tica.

  • ORA-29902 Error when executing context query

We sometimes get the following error when executing a search based on keywords entered by a user:
<BLOCKQUOTE><font size="1" face="Verdana, Arial, Helvetica">quote:</font><HR>Error generating context stmt ORA-29902: error in executing ODCIIndexStart() routine ORA-20000: interMedia Text error: DRG-50901: text query <HR></BLOCKQUOTE>
A demonstration of the error can be seen by going to the main
http://technet.oracle.com technet page and then performing a site search. Type in any of the following search phrases:
    Oracle and not Microsoft
    not Microsoft
    and database
In my brief experimentation, the presence of any of
    not, and, or
at the beginning of the keywords, or next to each other 'and not' within the keywords set causes the above oracle error.
OK, I could train the users not to do this, but with the potential for every net user on the planet using my site, it might take me some time to speak to all of them.
So how do I stop Intermedia from throwing up the error? I have written a quick parser to try to strip out offending entries, but that is not, imho, a good solution, as I do not know all the rules that will break it.
    tia

You need to write a text query parser. Check the Query Translator code samples from http://technet.oracle.com/sample_code/products/text/content.html
