[Question] New Button from Toolbar which creates a new Outlook Mail?

Hello together,
I am faced with an issue by using a button from the toolbar in order to create a new outlook mail.
Do you know the functionality from html?

This coding will create a new outlook mail an fills it with information when the user click this link. It is also possible to implement it via a button.
Now, I want to implement these function in my component, escpecially in the toolbar.
I have created a new button, but how can I provide it? Is there a possibility at all?

Just define the following coding for your button...
    ls_button-text     = 'Outlook mail'.
    ls_button-tooltip = 'Outlook mail'.
    ls_button-on_client_click = 'javascript:window.open ("mailto:email@email?subject=CRM","mywindow1","width=100,height=100,scrollbars=no,menubar=no");'.
    ls_button-page_id = me->component_id.
    ls_button-enabled = abap_true.
    APPEND ls_button TO rt_buttons.
    CLEAR ls_button.

Use EXCLUDING options of the SET PF-STATUS statement and insert the function code of the execute button into a internal table and pass it with EXCLUDING.

How can I remove the 'Access Information OnDemand Services' Button from the toolbar? I just upgraded BO XI R2 with SP4. I have to remove this button since we are hosting BusinessObjects on servers with multiple clients. They do not need, nor care about this (it will actually confuse them)...

This requires modifying JSP files. Please backup all files before mofying them.
Also, to the best of my knowledge this is supported. That said, this does not mean that the modifications will stick through updates/patches. Could someone from BO confirm?

New iMac to which I have imported outlook mail files which have set up as individual mailboxes. There are now so many mailboxes that mail will not open so I can't do anything with them. What can I do.

I have a brand new iMac and I have incorectly imported 20k plus outlook mail messages. They have all set up as individual mailboxes so mail locks when I try to open it. So I am stuck because I can't get into mail to do anything with these messages. Please help if you can. Regards Tebbs

Now new mail is coming to both computer's inboxes but there is no number on the stamp icon on dock to show number of emails on the iMac. Nor is there a number by either email address under MAILBOXES/inbox (sidebar) on the iMac. This number is showing on MacBook Pro.
I also can save drafts now on both computers.
Seems the Pro is fixed and the iMac is only missing the numbers on dock icon and by addresses in inbox.
Now that the problem is less, I feel i am wasting your time but will continue so maybe I can get those numbers back.
Two emails > AT&T email and gmail.
Apple's Mail program for email - yes, and gmail.
IMAP for both accounts.
Did not change mail configuration on MacBook.
The iMac and MacBook Pro have the same mail configuration except in Accounts/mailbox behaviours/store draft messages on the server was not marked on MacBook > it is now.
'Store junk messages on the server' was marked on one computer for gmail, but is unmarked on both now.
On the iMac, Accounts/Accounts info/Outgoing mail for gmail is smtpgmail.
On the MacBook Pro for gmail it is smpt.gmail.com (plus) my email address.
Rules/Add rule window, on the MacBook third line is 'Any Recipient', on the iMac third line is 'From."
The last box on that line has my email address on the MacBook.
The last box on that line has the last address I sent an emil to (last night), on the iMac.
On the last line on iMac, no box was selicted for 'to mailbox' > I choose 'inbox' because it is on the MacBook Pro.
Now I have a Rule #1 and am not sure I should have because there was no rules marked when I took the computer in.

I am having trouble downloading the new outlook mail.It returns error message about a sync services agent, database daemon etc. Also, I Can send an email but it returns with message: "message could not be sent." Any suggestions for this Apple novice?

I try and download the new Outlook update and it says I have to close sync services agent and others.I do that,or 'think' I do but it doesn't close.

PS - have found other posts indicating that clips smaller than 2s or sometimes 5s, or "short files" can cause this. Modern style editing often uses short takes ! Good grief I cannot believe Apple. Well I deleted a half a dozen short sections and can export, but now of course the video is a ruined piiece of junk and I need to re-do the whole thing, the sound etc. which is basically taking as much time as the original. And each time I re-do it I risk again this lovely error -50 and again trying to figure out what thing bugs it via trial and error instead of a REASONABLE ERROR MESSAGE POINTING TO THE CLIP IT CAN'T PROCESS. What a mess. I HATE this iMovie application - full of BUGS BUGS BUGS which Apple will not fix obviously, since I had this product for a few years and see just hundreds of hits on Google about this error with disappointed users. Such junk I cannot believe I paid money for it and Apple does not support it with fixes !!!
If anyone knows of a GOOD reasonably priced video editing program NOT from APPLE I am still looking for suggestions. I want to do more video in future, but obviously NOT with iMovie !!!

Email-Links in WebUI shall open new Outlook mail

we use CRM WebUI but by now we do not use the groupware integration.
It is by now not an requirement to create emails directly in CRM.
Is there a posibility to open only a new empty Outlook email if the user clicks on a mailadress in CRM WebUI? Like mailto-Links in the WWW -> the email adress shall be copied to the new outlook email.
At the moment a new CRM mail opens if the user has the authorization or nothing happens if he do not have the authorization. This is not our desired behaviour.

Question about the java files which created by Web Dynpro

After I create a new project under Web Dynpro, there is no any java file is generated.
Now I create a new application in the project with the following names:
application name: QuizApp
package name: com.sap.tc.webdynpro.tutorials.quiz
component name: QuizComp
window name: Quiz
view name: WelcomeView.
Now, 5 java files are generated under the package:
QuizComp.java,
WelcomeView.java,
QuizCompInterface.java,
QuizInterfaceView.java
QuizCompInterfaceCfg.java
Can someone tell me what do these file mean? For what purpose?

1)QuizComp.java -
this is the source file for whatever you code inside the Component Controller ,
2)WelcomeView.java -
you get one java file for each view you create,
3)QuizCompInterface.java -
represents the public "face" of your component. If this webdynpro DC is used by another DC, the other DC can only "see" the methods present in this java class
4)QuizInterfaceView.java -
this is to represent your view assembly (window and any views as part of it) when you want to embed UI of this DC in another DC
5)QuizCompInterfaceCfg.java -
(advanced concept)
P.S: A java file is created for each Custom controller you create also. And many other classes get created too (which probably you dont need to bother about) but they require for WebDynpro concept to function properly i.e a framework

Mail attachment button from within Iphoto is not working wth mail

Just upgrade to Ilife 08 and now from iphoto when select apicture and click on mail it never creates a new mail message with my photos attached. geez this is such a simple bug how could it be missed.

Welcome to the Apple Discussions. Did you repair disk permissions after installing iLife 08? If not do so now. Next delete the iPhoto preference file, com.apple.iPhoto.plist, that's in your User/Library/Preferences folder.

TIP: For insurance against the iPhoto database corruption that many users have experienced I recommend making a backup copy of the Library6.iPhoto database file and keep it current. If problems crop up where iPhoto suddenly can't see any photos or thinks there are no photos in the library, replacing the working Library6.iPhoto file with the backup will often get the library back. By keeping it current I mean backup after each import and/or any serious editing or work on books, slideshows, calendars, cards, etc. That insures that if a problem pops up and you do need to replace the database file, you'll retain all those efforts. It doesn't take long to make the backup and it's good insurance.
I've written an Automator workflow application (requires Tiger), iPhoto dB File Backup, that will copy the selected Library6.iPhoto file from your iPhoto Library folder to the Pictures folder, replacing any previous version of it. Remove button from Ribbon in a specific toolbar

I have created a custom list using feature. the list contains 7 content types inheriting from another custom content type. I have set the toolbar type for different views to "None".
I want to remove the attach file option from Actions group in Ribbon. I tried the solution given in

I tried to reproduced your issue like this: Create a custom Item Content Type, apply it to a custom list. Then I create a custom action for this custom Content Type with the
code you provided.
The outcome is: When I set the Toolbar Type as “Full Toolbar” or “Show Toolbar”, the “Attach File” button disappear as expected, when I set the Toolbar Type as “Summary Toolbar”
or “No Toolbar”, the “Attach File” button appears again.
Anyway, I will try to work on it or involve someone familiar with this topic to further look at this issue.

How do I catch the button click event from toolbar for my JSP?

I am using JDev 3.2 and BC4J for my JSP. I am using data web bean methods to create my JSPs. I need to implement a
master-detail relation in my JSP. Currently I put my master browser as the top frame of JSTabContainer bean and put my
6 detailed tables into 6 tabs. I found that when I click the next or previous button of toolbar of master frame, the detail tab
does not display the corresponding detail data properly. I think the reason is that I did not refresh the tab content when
the user change the current record of master table. Now my question is that how do I catch those events so that I can
refresh the content of my detail table? Or whatever suggestion can make this work.

Try running a Norton Live Update so Norton can update their Firefox add-on and get that Toolbar working again.

Remove EDIT button from FPM ToolBar

I am new to FPM, and I am working on SRM 7.0. In the Monitor Shopping cart WD application, after search event, a list of Shopping Carts are displayed, when we click on one of the SC number, the SC screen opens as a new Pop-up.
Here we have an EDIT button, and we need to remove this button from this screen.

You will need remove the static usage of config id ZSAPSRM_WDCC_FPM_OIF_SC_PROFNL and make use of dynamic component configuration depending on the particular scenario.
Create two configuration id's ZSAPSRM_WDCC_FPM_OIF_SC_PROFNL1 and ZSAPSRM_WDCC_FPM_OIF_SC_PROFNL2. Set visible property of Edit button as visible in the first config ID and none in the second.
Now assign this config ID dynamically depending on the scenario. If scenario is Monitor SC, then assign config ID ZSAPSRM_WDCC_FPM_OIF_SC_PROFNL2, else assign config ID ZSAPSRM_WDCC_FPM_OIF_SC_PROFNL1.

But take care on text threads accross several pages. If you delete a page with a text frame linked to a thread accross several pages, the text will change to the beginning of the thread on every first page.

You should be able to log into the online Formscentral Acrobat XI air app and see your doc there. From there you would need to save it out as a PDF without a submit button to have it continue to work past July. If you don't see your online form(s) please let me know the adobeID you use to log into the service as well as the form name that is missing and I will look into it for you.
