Remove 'Access Information OnDemand Services' Button from toolbar

How can I remove the 'Access Information OnDemand Services' Button from the toolbar? I just upgraded BO XI R2 with SP4. I have to remove this button since we are hosting BusinessObjects on servers with multiple clients. They do not need, nor care about this (it will actually confuse them)...

This is how we did it (Java Infoview).
Go to

Open headerPlus.jsp, and comment out the following section:

Remove "execute" button from toolbar

Hi, colleagues! Is there any way to remove "execute" button from toolbar on selection screen (in custom report)? I only found how to append custom buttons (using function keys).

Use EXCLUDING options of the SET PF-STATUS statement and insert the function code of the execute button into a internal table and pass it with EXCLUDING.

[Question] New Button from Toolbar which creates a new Outlook Mail?

Hello together,
I am faced with an issue by using a button from the toolbar in order to create a new outlook mail.
Do you know the functionality from html?

This coding will create a new outlook mail an fills it with information when the user click this link. It is also possible to implement it via a button.
Now, I want to implement these function in my component, escpecially in the toolbar.
I have created a new button, but how can I provide it? Is there a possibility at all?

Just define the following coding for your button...
    ls_button-text     = 'Outlook mail'.
    ls_button-tooltip = 'Outlook mail'.
    ls_button-on_client_click = 'javascript:window.open ("mailto:email@email?subject=CRM","mywindow1","width=100,height=100,scrollbars=no,menubar=no");'.
    ls_button-page_id = me->component_id.
    ls_button-enabled = abap_true.
    APPEND ls_button TO rt_buttons.
    CLEAR ls_button.

You have not mentioned if you are using standard planning book or custom book. If it is a standard planning book provided by SAP you cannot make any changes to it . But if it is a custom book then all you have to do is , go to /n/sapapo/sdp94 bring up the planning book , go to design , select toolbar and remove the icon that you dont need and save .

How do I remove the "show top sites" button from the favorites bar?

I just updated to Yosemite, and so I have Safari 8.0... which has the "Show Top Sites" button at the extreme left of the favorites bar. Given I loathe that feature, I tried to remove it but unlike everything else in the favorites bar, it won't go away or move.
I hate "Show Top Sites" as it feels like my browser is spying on me. I know it's just taking from what's already in my History but all the same, I don't see why I should have to put up with it given it's my browser and I should get a say in its behavior. New windows open to a blank page but I would at least like the button in the favorites bar removed, but ideally, the entire feature disabled.
I can disable tabs. Why not top sites?.

How can I remove accessibility text and voice over from the logon screen?

Before I log on to my Mac, in the logon screen I get accessibility text and voice over features enabled all the time. I can remove them by pressing cmd + f5 several times until they're gone (while I'm still in the logon screen). I would like to remove them permanently so that they never appear in the logon screen.

Remove access for site collection administrators from sub sites

We have site collection with sub sites for departments. Here few departments is having confidential data and they don't want to give access to the site collection administrators also.
Is this possible to remove site collection administration rights for sub sites? If Yes,please tell me how can i achieve this.

Thanks for your information. I have one query on permissions.
I have created new site collection and has given site collection administrator permissions to the user "ABC" and there is no permissions for Farm administrator also. Except this user there is no other users are having any permissions to this site
collection. Even though I am able to log in with my Farm administrator (it is displaying as "System Account").
Any help would be greatly appreciated to resolve this as there is some confidential documents which should not be accessible to any user.

I have a page within it I have a Composite view (SearchPage) and an iview (MyIview1). I have passed a URL to the iview (MyIview1).
In searchpage i have a variable @Address which is selected from a dropdown box. On click of a button i need to pass the variable @Address to the iview (MyIview1). which should be appended to the URL that i pass to MyIview1.
If i use URL action it opens as popup, and shows the desired result. But, I want it to open within the iview (myiview1).
Please let me know how else do i pass the variable from composite view to the url iview within the same page as ="www.abcd.com?address="&@Address does not open the url in the iview.

How to access existing Web Service

I want to access the web service (SOAP) from java classes.
Can Any body help me by sending sample code providing that how to send my XML content to the existing web service and get the response from that.
I want to further analyse that it is succedded or not from the response of web service (the response is also in XML).

You are in the wrong forum - web services are not available with Sun webserver. Speaking of examples to check out, I would recommend you to install Sun appserver 8.1 or 8.2 and check examples that come with it, specifically in "samples/webservices" and "samples/xml" directories.

To have our businesslogic manageable, we decided to make use of BPMObjects to more clearly define separation of concerns. However, we still need to be able to access information about the processInstance from the BPMObject. I am able to get information about the activity that invoked the bpmObject, and i am also able to get hold of the process id and name. But I havent been successful in getting the actual instanceId.
I tried Fuego.Lib.ProcessInstance.id.id, but that will only work from an activity, not a BPMObject.

How to remove buttons from CAD Supervisor toolbar please? Like Recording. If not possible, is it possible to Disable / Grey out a button. I am looking to remove / disable VoIP Monitoring and Record buttons please?

Can you try this:
Go to CAD Admin web page
Services Configuration-> Remove VoIP/Recording & Playback Services
Make sure that there are no IP addresses of any servers in the Recording & Playback Service menu. If there are some, select them and press ‘Remove’ button to remove them.
Please make sure that you close CSD, CAD completely and login back to see the changes. I haven’t tried this before but I think this would disable the recording buttons in CSD. I don’t know whether it needs CAD services restarts(all).

You will need remove the static usage of config id ZSAPSRM_WDCC_FPM_OIF_SC_PROFNL and make use of dynamic component configuration depending on the particular scenario.
Create two configuration id's ZSAPSRM_WDCC_FPM_OIF_SC_PROFNL1 and ZSAPSRM_WDCC_FPM_OIF_SC_PROFNL2. Set visible property of Edit button as visible in the first config ID and none in the second.
Now assign this config ID dynamically depending on the scenario. If scenario is Monitor SC, then assign config ID ZSAPSRM_WDCC_FPM_OIF_SC_PROFNL2, else assign config ID ZSAPSRM_WDCC_FPM_OIF_SC_PROFNL1.
Please refer the below document for usage of dynamic component configuration.
