Hi Suda,
Have created a query as below, search function not seems working WHERE     (T0.DocNum = 1249)-
instead given -
WHERE     T0.[DocNum] = [%0]. -
Also this query dosent drill down to child BOM any sugetions will be great!!
SELECT DISTINCT T4.Code,  T0.DocEntry, T4.OrigPrice, T6.BaseQty, T1.Quantity, T6.BaseQty * T1.Quantity * T4.OrigPrice AS 'Total'

  • Doubt in Result Analysis

    Hi Experts,
    Result

    Hi,
    Result Analysis:
    Overview:
The objective for calculating Work in Process (WIP) is to determine the value of manufacturing activity in process at the end of a fiscal period, during a fiscal period and to properly reflect this value on the financial statements. WIP calculation is a facet of Results Analysis (RA). RA is a specialized tool within the controlling module that computes and analyzes the value of WIP. The terms WIP calculation and RA are generally interchangeable.
    Results analysis is used to:
    a. Calculate the inventory value of finished and unfinished products in a non-valuated project stock or non-valuated sales stock environment or
    b. You are using a valuated sales order stock or valuated project stock and want to capitalize goods that have been delivered but not yet invoiced.
The difference between SAP and other systems is in the treatment of material consumption for manufacturing. Component issues to production orders, run schedules, WBSs, etc is immediately treated as an expense to the P&L statement. The issue is not treated as a reclassification from raw or semi-finished inventory to WIP inventory. SAP considers WIP to be a snapshot of values that can be computed on demand and passed to the general ledger as required to re-class the values to the balance sheet. This process demands a specific, methodical approach to be used for period-end and mid-period processing. Rules used to calculate the value of WIP and settle WIP to the G/L are defined in multiple RA tables depending upon the requirements of the company. RA is designed to support a variety of calculation techniques and there may and are alternate settings depending on the demands of the company. To support the configuration, scenarios and unit testing need to be thorough. RA needs to be configured towards the middle of the of the implementation with subsequent testing. This will allow for configuration of the data needed to support WIP and RA (chart of accounts, production orders, projects, cost centers, cost elements, etc.)

  • Batch Traceability for Sugar as raw material during the production process

    Dear Colleague ,
I need your support for a traceability issue in a customer on beverage sector
    See the case below:
Batch Traceability for Sugar as raw material during the production process
In AMSB the batch traceability in some production processes is very difficult, especially in case of sugar where tanks wherein more than one batches of the same material can be mixed. For example, in a single day almost 17-20 batches of the same material can be mixed and as the result is a composition of water and sugar the normal FIFO rule strategy cannot be applied during the component consumption.
The raw material (sugar) is received in tank S5 at different points of time, and its content is transferred to tank B1 for storage purposes as well as for mix the sugar with other material such as water.
At a specific moment the S5 tank contains only a single batch, while the tank B1 contains more than one batch. Tank B1 is used in order to supply the production line and the corresponding material consumption is triggered in backflush as soon as the production activity is declared (production confirmation). Along with the material consumption the batch determination takes place and a complex algorithm is applied: at a very high level, the single batch is consumed depending on its percentage inside the mix of composition and in case the this
percentage is under a threshold level the current batch should be full used in order to avoid that it will exist for ever.
Moreover, the good movement reversal (reversal of material consumption) and its correction lead to a complete new calculation of all the batches consumed after the original movement date/time. This means that the algorithm for batch determination should be reapplied for all the consumptions subsequent to the original movement.
On the other hand it’s not possible to identify the mix of batches at the exit point of silos B1 because the total consumption of the material in the tank will never happen. As long as the tank level decreases it will be filled up from the tank used for receiving of sugar (S5).
As requirement AMSB needs to post the material consumption starting from EWM, this means that EWM should be the master system in this case and the correspondingmovements have to be  transferred to ECC afterwards. This mainly because EWM  should guarantee the business continuity in case the ERP system is not available.
AMSB asked if the scenario depicted has been implemented in some customer, in EWM system or in any other SAP solution.

    Hi ,
At the time of consumption you can put ' * ' aestrix sign in the batch field.
You will get list of batches of that material.select ur batch and consume the quantity.

  • How to track the utlisation of raw material given by cusomer

My business scenario is like this,my customer will supply raw material to my company we have to process the material, sell it to same customer.as a result of this we will processing charge per kg of material. The customer need to know how the raw material supplied by him is utlised (finished goods detail & scrap detail)
Thats is the flow from MM TO PP TO SD (MATERIAL FLOW)

    Hello,
You will have to map Sub-Contracting Process in your system. Your company is the Sub Contractor for your Customer.
Please search in SAP Building Blocks for Sub Contractors. This is oe of the link I found: http://help.sap.com/bestpractices/BBLibrary/HTML/J75_ThirdPartyOrdProcwithSub_EN_KO.htm

  • QM for raw material 103 mv. type

    Hello QM Gurus,
Please help me in following senario,
When I am doing GR for the raw material, I am posting the stock to blocked stock through 103 mov. type.
In system the inspection lot is being created but it is not in released status, although inspection plan is properly defined, hence I cannot do the result recording for the lot.
If anybody can suggest where the problem is.
    Your king suggestion are expected.
    Regards,
    Amit Shirsath.

I'm listing out some common mistakes because of which the Lot wont be in REL status.
First in MM03 QM view -check for the inspection type(01) and 05 for other GR to be active. This should be fine in ur case since your are saying the lot is created.Make sure the check mark Automatic assignment to be checked ,Check characs and also Insp with task list.
Second-Make sure the inspection Plan(QP01 display) was created with the same Key date as the Insepction lot or even earlier .The key date can be checked under qa03 to display Insp lot.
Third-make sure the Usage is the same as in the Inspection lot.The usage is the one which links the Plan to the Lot .It should be 5 for GR from PO and 53 for other GR in the insp plan. You can check the Inscpetion lot usage by going to QA03.
Check all these, ur problem should be solved. Please let me know if there is any furthur problem. And also reward if helpful and close the thread.

  • KKAX - error 'Manual WIP/results analysis is not allowed for order

We are running KKAX on some process orders.  A few of them get the error 'there are values for cost element 999999 that are not assigned to any line ID'; however, we do have a line id set up for the cost element, etc; when we drill down further on the message, what we end up with is 'manual wip/results analysis is not allowed'.  The business transaction for this is KABM.  I can see on the order that KABM is not a permitted business transaction.
We only have this problem on a few of the orders.  How is the KABM being invoked?  Is it caused by an order status?  How can I fix this?
    Thank you

    Hi Christian
i have come up with the new business requirement
I want to change some of the material in one of the plant into discreete. For that, I tried to delete the production version and then tried to uncheck repetitive manufacturing indictor in MRP4 view.
But it is giving the following error
Either you are attempting to delete production version 1000 or
you haveattempted to deselect the repetitive manufacturing indicator for the production version.
It is not possible to delete the production version or to
deselect the repetitive manufacturing indicator for the following reasons:
o Cutoff period for WIP calculation has not yet been
established. For the period in which a goods receipt was last entered with reference to this production version.
o The cutoff period for variance calculation has not been
defined for the full life of the production version.
Can you please help me out how to resolve this issue

  • How to including the finished goods as raw material to the other FG?

    Hi Gurus,
    Have a nice day!
We would like to create production order for our semi finished goods and then we will doing confirmation. After we have produced our semi finished goods, we would like to include it in the bom as raw materials for our final FG. But how to handle this situation? Any suggestion on how the procedure to do it that the cost will not be double..when confirming the semi FG production it will generate cost for the usages of it raw materials. The semi FG is valuated then when i included it as raw material into Final FG it will generate cost for consumption in doing confirmation. I dont know the correct term for this scenario. In other word or semi FG will be part as a raw material to the next production.
Please advise if you have been encountered the same scenario with me.
    Thanks ,
    Weldin

    Hello Gurus,
Thanks julian for contributing your idea. I really appreciated it.
Right now all activity in manufacturing FG is combine in one production order. Let say we have two activity one is the extrusion and the other one is bagging and printing. From our current set up, we would like to separate the activity. The idea is one production order for extrusion serve as semi-finished good. Then this semi-FG will be added in the component of our final FG which is the bagging and printing because in actual transaction that would be the procedure. Theoritically, we would like to separate the cost of extrusion activity to bagging activity. That is why we will be trying to figure out how to do it right for the analysis purposes.
Other of my idea is when  i will set the semi FG to non valuated material. So that when i add  the semi FG as component to our Final FG no double costing happen. But when we will run the costing run it will compute low cost in terms of standard price for our final product.
    Thanks and best regards,
    Weldin angelo

  • List of process order for particular raw material

    Dear PP Gurus,
Suppose we have one raw material said - X and this is used to create finished product A, B, C an D.
Now I would like to know, In particular period how many process order is created for raw material X?
Ex. for one month only 2 process order usind raw material X are created. 1(finished product - A and 2 (finished product- B)
I tried COOISPI but not getting success.
Through MB51 I can get report of process order against which material is issued. (261 is done)
But my basic req. is to know the process order created.
I am from MM side so no much more idea in PP area.As working for SAP support we have to look little bit in PP ara.
    Thanks all
    Rajan

    Hi Rajan,
You can use COOISPI and select Documented Goods Movement and give the Basic Start date range as you want and execute.
You can use filters in Movement types and get your desired result. 261 is for Goods issue of the components and 101 is for Goods Receipt of the header material.
    Hope it clears your doubts.
    Regards
    Suri

  • Simulate Price change in raw material

    Dear All.
How can I simulate the new cost of all my FERT materials, if we have a price increase in a RAW material that is used in almost all FERT's.
    please help.

    Hi,
create a costing variant using a valuation variant that valuates materials with priority 1 the new price from a "planned price field" in controlling 2 in material master (were you've maintained the new price for this specific material) and as priority 2 the price as in your old variant (for the materials where the price remains unchanged). Do not allow any price update for this costing variant to avoid erroneous use of this variant.
Create a plan cost estimate for the same (reference) material(s) with your old and the new costing varinat, compare the same.
Use report RKKBCAL2 do compare the results of 2 costing runs (again one with the old costing variant one with the new).
    best regards, Christian

    Hi,
Raw material planned cost and quantity in table MCKALKW is not equal to cost analysis in CO01 / CO02.
Could you please let me know how to get the planned cost and quantity for production order components for report development. i checked other tables like AFPO and AFKO and it is showing only for main material and not for its compoen

    Hi,
You can check the cost of the individual components in Bill of materials of each material seperately. Hope this works for you.

  • Reg.Calculate Raw material cost(Fabric)+Process cost(semifinished -cutting)

    Dear Friends
    Please consider our below scenario
In AFS, PO is created and stock is maintained in unrestricted (Raw material)
and then Production order is created for Cut pcs and Raw material is issued to production order through 261 mvt type
next Cut pcs is received against the production order through 101 Mvt type. Now operation cost is not added with the Raw material cost, only the Raw material cost is represents in MIGO-> FOOTER - QUANTITY->Quantity in LC field. What to do to calculate the process cost too.
When we receive the cut pcs what we attached as component to the cutpcs's cost is calculated, the charge for Cutting is not calculated. we want both cutpcs charge(10.00 per pc)+component cost(raw mat. 180.00 per 1 kg)
    Cut pcs 10 pcs * 10 Rs = 100 Rs
    Raw mat 10 kg * 180 Rs = 1800 Rs
the total cost is 1900 Rs should come in that field
    Thanks
    Rajakumar.K

    Hi,
Process cost is picked up though the activity you maintained in the routing.
    Pre requites
    1. Activity planning should be done through KP26.
    2. Work center should have right formula
    3. The standard value key which you using in routing should be there in workcenter formula.
In production order ---> Goto -
    > Cost -
    > Cost analysis
check whether you getting activity cost(In yours case Cutting cost)

  • MTO - RAW MATERIAL COST ESTIMATE

In an MTO scenario I am using configurable material I run order BOM cost estimate after sales order creation and as a result value gets updated against EK02 condition type in sales order.
For order Bom cost estimate system picks values from material master of raw materials in BOM.
Raw material has moving price in material master, I want to know
1)what price system picks from material master for cost estimate MOVING AVERAGE PRICE, STANDARD PRICE in accounting view
2)Do we run cost estimate for raw materials in MTO, and if so then at what time.

    hello sir,
    plz help me
ne production order shows for cost element of cost of finished goods amt shows vey high the std price in material master is 71 and qty is 140 but it is not showing with this multiplication it is in lacs.
in the production order the target cost is zero and total actal cost in lacs and total variance percentage is 0 only but as per knowledge no variance know but if u calculate 140*.71 it should come less amt as per material maser but in production order i t shows high amount
twe found that they changed the price after GR is done now we want to post JV correct?what is the procedure to post JV in the current month .
the entry at the time of G done with high value is
Finshed goods a/c dr(balance sheet item) 89 post key
COGS cr (p&L item) 91(post key)
now what is the rectification entry

  • Cost Estimates taking raw material in CK40N

    Dear Experts,
We are running Costing run using CK40n by selecting site & article
    type:ZMTG. (Only Finished Product)
But Standard cost is displaying for ROH/VERP in CK13n/MM43.
We only want to carry out std cost run for only ZMTG article.
In Costing varinat Priority is set for "Valuation Price according to price control" so the value give is correct. But the standard price field is getting updated in material master for Raw Material.
I want to know usually whether it used to take like this, if not where i need to make changes so that it should not take while costing the finished product.
    Please reply asap.

    Dear Abhisek,
It does not matter if the standard field updates with cost estimate, coz it does not effect financial results at all, reason behind the price control which is moving average  for RAW materials.
Secodndly, it is helpful for you to find out the price of material when cost estimate was exucuted, coz it will not change until your further cost estimate run.
Raw Materials are part of BOM, so system always calculate their prices to reach at price of finish product, but system does not post any price change document for raw materials.
Further u can confirm using tcode CKMPCD

  • Final product of raw material

    Hi,
I need to develop a report, when I give a raw material end result must be a final product omitting all other semifinished assemblies.
can anyone guide how to solve this

    Hi Krishnan,
Study the report CS15, it is doing what you are expected to do. The only difference is, it reads all levels upto the top parent.
Anyway you can use the FM - > CS_WHERE_USED_MAT to achieve the same. You need to loop back the output to input & this way read all the way upto the top parent.
But a word of caution, if a single raw material is associated with multiple top parents, then you will have to handle this case.
    Hope the above helps.
    Regards,
    Vivek
