RDS 2012 to serve browsers (internet connection)

should we use RDS to serve internet navegation (where we have a legacy topology design where a Customer have 1 pc on the intranet-CORP e another one on the internet-network)?
the RDS deployment has one collection with 3 browsers IE, chrome and Firefox. Problem detected memory usage by the clientes sessions when browser decides to consume a huge amount of memory from the RDS session host server.

- Try on another computer/network

Not an iPhone user myself, but I'd try this....
Delete the connection history for the hub3 on the phone.
Then delete the device from the hub.
Click on this link - http://bthomehub.home/
Click Settings
(If this is the first time you've accessed the hub, you'll need to change the admin password)
Click Advanced settings and then Continue to Advanced settings
Click home network
Look for your iPhone and click on this
Click delete device.

Are sticky notes compatible with Cloud RDS 2012 R2 Server?

Greetings tech wizards. We are running an RDS 2012 R2 Server in the Cloud, and I would like to pose a question: is the default windows sticky notes application compatible in a Cloud environment? Multiple users would be using the application

From your description seems you have performed all the steps and that’s the proper way for removing. Apart from this, there might some database left behind related to RDS server and we need to remove it for completely remove it.

Remember these things..
The database server should be connected to the internet directly..
the database server should be having a public ip address to identify it uniquely in the internet..
you can then connect to the database from any application by using jdbc and providing the ip address and port of the DB server in the url as suited for your jdbc driver....

Decommissioning a RDS 2012 R2 Server

What is the proper way to decommission a RDS 2012 R2 server. We moved the CALs to another server, then removed the licensing role. Reboot and then remove all RDS roles and reboot again. Will this be enough or is there other thing we need to do?
I just looked in ADUC and see an OU Remote Desktop Server with the RDS server in it. I am guessing there are other things we need to do to remove it completely?

Software Update can't find server, but internet connection is good

The Software Update function does not work - "Can't connect to Update Server", and Safari will not load any pages - "CAn't connect to server...". However, Network Diagnostics says that I am connected to the internet, as does Firefox - it loads pages just fine! All other computers in our home network, including my G5 Tower, are performing and access the internet just fine.
Also, for the past 24 hours, whenever I try to reply to an e-mail, or create a new one, mail suddenly crashed. It is very reliable in this way; there are no exceptions! The the newest update/change to my configuration was the update of the 10.4.4 system stuff from Apple, followed a few days later by an update for the 15 in G4 Powerbook battery management.

I have had this problem ever since upgrading from Panther 10.3.9 to Tiger back in December. It doesn't matter, 10.4 from the DVD, or 10.4.4 upgrade, the problem is the same: Any Apple-based programs don't recognize the connection.
1) Safari says can't connect to any server.
2) Software Update says there's no internet connection.
3) iTunes won't get CD title information from CCDB because it doesn't recognize an internet connection.
4) E-mail messages that have images linked to websites just show question marks.
5) Widgets that require an internet connection (weather, etc.) are blank.
I, too, did all the tests with the Apple system and pings and all that, which all showed the internet connection to be fine.
In this condition, I can use Firefox and Netscape browsers (I'm using Firefox to write this), but not Safari, Shiira, or Internet Explorer--those three don't recognize an internet connection.
When I first upgraded to Tiger, Mail would receive messages but wouldn't send them. After going back and forth between Apple Care and Earthlink, finally it got solved by Earthlink having me change all my settings. So now I can send messages, but still can't see linked images.
Now here's an interesting quirk. I have four user logins on my computer. On one of them, Safari's home page has always been our login for our online banking. For some reason, that always connects. I have figured out over the past weeks that if I go to that login first, and log in to my bank's website FIRST, then I can use the Apple programs on my other logins (iTunes, Software Update, Safari, etc.). Go figure.
I've spent hours on the phone with Apple Care with this problem. They claim they've never heard of this issue from anyone else, but I've seen several people post on this discussion board having the same issue. Apple Care still has not been able to resolve this issue, even after many hours on the phone with them.

Server loses internet connection after creating virtual switch in hyper-v

On a fresh Server 2012R2 Essentials install, I set up Hyper-v and created an external virtual switch. Connection to the vm is good but Health Report no shows loss of internet connectivity and that the router is incorrectly setup.
However, I still have a working internet connection? I worry that the server may not update or allow Anywhere Access at some time. Any suggestions? Thanks

If Hyper-V virtual switch behaves strange and server is destined for testing, then it's correct and I recomend delete this virtual switch and create it again.
Here is some issues with internet connection and Hyper-V switch, none of them does not match your problem, but can be inspirative for troubleshooting:

Downstream WSUS server without internet connection, license terms not being downloaded

We have 2 WSUS servers.
ServerA is the upstream server and has access to the internet
ServerB is configured as Autonomous downstream and has no internet access.
Synchronisation between the two servers works fine, with the exception of updates that have license terms. As part of the synchronisation, the downstream server attempts to download the license terms directly from Microsoft but fails, since there is no internet
connection.
Is there a way of configuring it so that the license terms are download from the upstream server or something similar?

This is not how it works. If the downstream server is correctly configured as a downstream server, it downloads
everything from the upstream server.
How did you determine that your downstream server was attempting to download direct from Microsoft, or that it was directly related to anything being synchronized from the upstream server.

RDS 2012 - Hide Server Resources in RemoteApp

Hello RDS experts! I am struggling with what should be a simple solution with RemoteApp. Here is my challenge:
I am sharing Internet Explorer from an RDS server to users. I have a number of web applications that users cannot access either because of browser incompatibility or browser security settings, so I want to funnel them through RD Gateway
and RDS to a Remote App.
I have the Gateway configured corrected and the internal RDS server as well, but I'm struggling with getting the correct user experience.
The users are going to need to save files and I want them to be able to save the files back on their remote machines without any hassle. I understand from previous forum posts that mapping their remote drive "as the C: drive" just doesn't
really work, but there's got to be something that I can do to hide the server drives.
I have tried the below articles:

None of these seem to work with 2012 R2...or maybe it's just specific to the "Save As.." menu coming from IE. Maybe if I had a full blown Windows Explorer (or now "File Explorer") then it would work right.
Can anybody shed any light on this, please be specific to the 2012 R2 implementation? Or is there an easier way to do it? I looked at user profile disks, but that seems like a bad option for me because I want the users to have their files once
they are offline and disconnected from me...
Please help!!

Okay, I made some progress. I can now hide the Network, Library, and Favorites links on the left-pane using the registry instructions below:

I have attached a picture of my current "Save As..." dialog. I would like to get rid of the "Folders" view here.
None of those 3 articles addressed how to do that. As I mentioned, the goal is simply to direct the users to save files on their local disk. I am fine with pointing them towards using the mapped disks from their pseudo-RDP session.
Also note this question only applies to RemoteApp sessions. I am doing a full blown RDP desktop.

How do I point my RDS 2012 R2 server to pick up the RDS licences from a dedicated RDS Licence server

I have configured a dedicated server 2012 R2 box to be the RDS licence server for the Domain.
When I use the Review configuration option, I get 2 green tick circles which indicate to me that all is well. However, when I built a separate RDS Server 2012 R2 box, this server does not seem to be picking up a licence.
Can anyone help?

I keep getting this, "can not contact itunes server, check internet connection." every time I try to update itunes. Well, the connection is good.

A simple search of the forums would have revealed many similar threads with the same error and appropriate troubleshooting and resolution.

TS2621 From my iPad I get CannotConnect To The Server error message. The iPad is new and I have never received an email via the icloud acct. My PCM receives icloud mail, no problem. Internet connectivity not an issue.

From my iPad I get an error message "cannot connect to the server". Internet connection not the problem. No problem receiving mail from icloud on my PC. I think it was a set up issue. iPad is new and receives mail from hotmail no problem. It just will not connect to the icloud server.

I am having this same issue. I can access these accounts from computers, other locations on others' computers, but I cannot get the mail from one account on either my iPhone or iPad. I've deleted the account on the iPad and re-installed it, but it still will not receive mail.
Frustrating.

Failing to install Domain Services on a Windows 2012R2 without internet connection

i have a windows 2012r2 server without internet connection.
when i try to add the Domain Services role it failed in the Feature installation phase
i even tried to provide an alternate location from a ISO source but that didn't help either
im lost here what should i do?

What error is shown in Event Viewer when the install fails?
Is it the first 2012 R2 DC in a lower level domain?
Try installing ADDS via PowerShell:
Import-Module ServerManager
Install-windowsfeature -name AD-Domain-Services –IncludeManagementTools
The other thing that it could be is an issue with the WID (Windows Internal Database)
Check in the Event Viewer for anything to do with Service: MSSQL$MICROSOFT##WID and perhaps try this:
Adjust your domain (or domain controller if appropriate) security policy to allow “NT SERVICE\MSSQL$MICROSOFT##WID” to log on as a service, a GPO setting that can be found under Computer Configuration > Policies > Windows Settings > Security Settings
> Local Policies > User Rights Assignment.
