first post... please be gentle my question is similar to the first scenario. I want to purchase credit for my girlfriend. I understand the 2-accounts-on-the-same-card issue. what if I used a different credit card or Paypal ? payments would be on an as needed basis vs. recurring subscription.

They can download the trial version of the software thru the page linked below and then use the serial number you purchased for them to activate it.

The answer is very simple: You were not the original owner of the phone. Target sold you a phone that had been returned. You can verify the date of the original sale here: Apple - Support - Check Your Service and Support Coverage. I suspect you will find that the warranty expiration date is not one year from the date that you bought it.

Here is my story below,
I left my X220 ( which is just 4 months old) at PERCOM (A Lenovo Partner) in Munich, because of the same reason ( plastic cover loose) and 1 other issue. They took the machine and sent it to the manufacturer and had it tested there and concluded that it was my fault, although I am pretty much sure I have not caused this issue. Besides, PERCOM charges me 100€ to get my laptop back and their reason is that they had to spend time on the device because the defects were mechanical damages by user ( that they claim, but its absolutely not true. )
So i need your consultation from now on, what could you suggest me to do? They want me to pay them 100€, although I do not have it repaired ( and although I am sure it is a manufactural issue ). I have contacted some magazines already that this is not legitimate and have been waiting for their response.
I still do not understand how Lenovo can deny the same issue that has been resolved for someone else. Please help.

Sorry to read about your situation, why don't you follow dodger_NL's example, which you have read, and escalate the case by creating a complaint? PERCOM should be able to do this for you or if you wish to you can do it yourself by calling service and quoting the current Call Nr. or your system's type and serial number.
Out of interest, do you expect the magazines to repair your notebook before you've gone through the "appeals" complaints process or what? I suggest you open a complaint, it will help you more than the magazines.

I've getting "Password Token" and "Hello from Skype" emails that are meant for someone else (I don't want to say the username in case it causes this individual issues). Worth mentioning we both have the same name.
This guy is clearly having skype issues but can't reset because the emails are coming to me!

Icloud mail inbox has mail for someone else ?

I don't know if anyone has encountered this problem, if you have then you can maybe advise.
I signed into icloud on the mac, checked the email section. in the email inbox there were three emails
none of them were addressed to me. Two of them had my address listed as "[email protected]" ( replace the ... with numbers)
the otherone was listed for someone else completely.
Is this a spam issue, is this a tech problem.
Answers will be greatfully received.

It's spam, sent by the 'hidden mailing list' method. Basically, if you want to send to a list of people but you don't want them all to see the other people in the list, you put the list in the Bcc (blind carbon copy) field and one address in the To field. This means that everyone who receives it only sees it as being to the address in the 'To' field.
(I love 'carbon copy' - I don't suppose anyone has used carbon paper for thirty years.)
Assuming the contents are spam, just bin and ignore, and don't worry about it.
