RE: checking to see if date is NULL

Hi
I have a date field that i'm retrieving and what to check to see if it's null
This is my piece of code:
Date sEmpPlanStartDate = (Date)dsEmpPlan.getRowSet().getCurrentRow().getAttribute("StartDate");
if(sEmpPlanStartDate == null)
{...do something
Everytime it hits the if statement, it bombs out and throws and error and all i get is an application error..
Any help would be very appreciative

You may want to post the exception stack for more clues?

You can see when your last successful backup was by going to Settings>iCloud>Storage & Backup and reading under Bac Up Now at the bottom.
You can see what is in your backup. You can only see what you have selected to be backed up by going to Settings>iCloud>Storage & Backup>Manage Storage, tap the name of your phone on the Backups list at the top, then looking under Backup Options. Note: your backup will contain other data as well (such as your text messages); these don't show under Backup Options because you don't have the option to exclude them from that backup.

Obfuscated Toolkit: Is there a test routine to see if data is encrypted?

Does anyone know of a procedure, function, or package that will check to see if data has been encrypted previously before attempting to decrypt it? I inherited a database with several encrypted columns. But some of the data (i.e. first 100 rows or so [and more intermixed]) is not encrypted. I'm looking for a way programatically to check to see if data is encrypted before decrypting it.

DBMS_OBFUSCATION_TOOLKIT.DES3Encrypt procedure raises an exception, don't remember exactly whihc one, that is raised when you try to encrypt data previously encryoted. You can try that approach and just ignore when data is already encrypted.

I have Firefox 18.0.1 and when I click "Check to see if plugins are up to date", I get an uresponsive script warning.

When I click the link "Check to see if plugins are up to date" at the top of the Add-ons Manager page, it opens a new page like normal. The new page displays everything but the plugins and their status. The page just sits waiting for the status results to populate. If I try to click anything at this point, the page freezes and I see a message at the top of the window that Firefox has become unresponsive. If don't click and wait about 60 seconds, I get a "Warning - Unresponsive Script" message. I also see the following information with this warning:

This first happened yesterday, after accidentally removing Java from my PC - I think it was Java 6. When I tried to access Java downloads to re-install, I got the same unresponsive script message. So, I had to access Java downloads with IE instead of Firefox, and I re-installed Java (version 11, update 11). Has Java caused my problem? Should I attempt to find Java 6 and install it?

If i go to Tools > Addons and click on the "Check to see if your plugins are up to date" link, it gives me an error
"Plugin Finding Service Error
We've encountered an error. Please try your request again later."
The link is sending me to https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/plugincheck/
If i manually navigate to http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/plugincheck/ it works fine.
Therefore the link to the secure protocol has broken

If you can't remember your passcode, you'll need to restore your phone. If you never synched to iTunes, all data on your phone will be erased. No way around this.

Check to see if field exisits in Recordset

Can anyone help me out with a function that checks to see if

Depending on what exactly you are trying to do here you probably need to do one or more of the following:
1) Use a fully qualified record set reference of queryName.column.row:
I.E.
#rs_quthorized.county_name[2]#
2) Loop over the recordset to search all the rows. <cfoutput query="..."> or <cfloop query="..."> constructs make this rather easy to do, but nothing is preventing you from using any looping mechinism you care to use.
3)Use the valueList(queryName.column) function to turn all the date from one column in the record set into a list. This combined with either a listFind() or listContains() function will allow you to quickly search for a single value.

Final user's can not see the data due to limited authorization.

We have created a InfoSet with three info Objects, 0Account, 0Costcenter and 0COMP_CODE. 0Costcenter have an attribute retail location 0RT_LOCATIO.
0RT_LOCATIO is an authorization relevant object. We as consultants can execute the infoset properly, but final user's with limited authorizations can not see the data because of authorization failier
We hae several options to solve the issue, deleselect the auth. flag in the infoobject; delete the infoobject from the attributes of the cost center or create an authorization object and assign it to the final user's profile. But we don't want to go that way.
My question is, is there any way to avoid including this attribute in the infoset definition? We are not using it in the query and we don't need it, so if we could delete it from the infoset (in the same way you add or delete infoobjects from an Infocube) without changing the cost center aster data, we will have our problem solved.
Does anyone how to do this (if possible)?

Just do two things to find the authorization check failed for that user.
1. Execute SU53 output and find out the authoirzation check failed. If yes, please send that to BASIS Team.
2. Next one, switch on the authorization trace in ST01 and ask that user to see that data. if the user is failed with authorization issue. switch off the trace in ST01 and find out the issue.
Do this way, if it is not successful you can go for any other alternate way.

Apex 4.0 - Can see view data in SQL*Plus but no data in Object Browser

It just seems weird to me, as tables are just fine, but not views.
In the underlying schema:

In fact, I would like to know more about how Apex gets access to do DML against the underlying parsing schema(s).
This is a little frustrating though. It worked just fine in lots of apps in version 2.1 to 3.2
Am I missing something

Report exection problem for one user - not able to see the data.

Need some help . I have got the one ticket from bussniess side about the report execution .
Unfortunately , I am also not having authorisation of that report due to sensible data.
Problem - User is executing the report but some how he is not ABLE TO see the data for one company code Hierachy .
I executed the same report through RSSMQ via his user id , and I got the below message.
All value were selected . Hierachy Authorisation cannot be used.
A displayed hierachy requier a hierachy authorisation .
But when i checked his authorisation , I am able to see that he should have authorisation to all the hireachy .
could you please let me know , how can I check more ?

after accessing the report , u go to su53 tcode and check the authorization and u can see what is problem in authorization for the that user and u can send the details to secuity team to rectify the issue ,
