I have a doubt in A/R Invoice..For a open item,if we select from Copy To button,it has only A/R credit Memo option..Previously we also have option Returns but now we have only one option..Is there any solutions to recover from this issue.Please help me in this issue..

Hi Revathy........
Actully AR Invoice stage comes only either after Delivery of After partial Return. Return can be come after AR Invoice.
Return comes only based on Delivery and not AR Invoice.
If you want to return the goods then you have to raise AR Credit Memo based on Invoice.
You are also correct in previous version it was showing Return option when we do Copy To from Invoice but if you tried this then SAP would not allow you to copy as there was a validation as per working but now its not required.
So you can only copy to Credit Memo based on Invoice......

2) while maintaining condition records VV31 check medium field.
Even if you mail to u r customer discuss with u r abaper for customer mail server migration.

A/R Invoice copied from Service call

Dears,
Can someone please tell me if is there a way to create an AR Invoice copying from a service call (just like we do when copying from e.g. sales order)?
I'm looking for a way to automatically bill a service call that I have opened for a customes, without having to write again and manually all the details included in that service call. Basically we should be able to copy the details of a service call into an A/R Invoice again and send it to the customer.
Any idea regarding this?

Broken Link between Base and Target document in 'Copy To' option

Hi Folks,
One of our client has been facing a peculiar issue. When the 'Copy To' function is used to Copy document from Sales Order to Delivery and recently one instance of 'Copy To' from Delivery to A/R Invoice ,the base document got copied to the target document in each case but there was no trace of any Base Ref. left in the Target document( either in row level or Remarks), thereby the link between the Base and Target document got broken.The Base document remains with status as open.The same base document when tried again to 'Copy To', it creates the link between Base and new Target document.
This instance had occurred recently 3- 4 times in a span of 3 months or so. In normal circumstance this never happens. The client is pretty sure they have used 'Copy To' option to copy the document from Base to Target.
Any hints or possible reasons if one can highlight would be appreciable.
The current version used is SAP B1 8.82 PL11 and it was upgraded more than a year back.

Hi,
All the data in Sales Order and Delivery are matching one to one in terms of row details,
and Document header level.
The missing data was Base Ref. data and Del.Date didn't get copied from base to target as shown in screen shot.
Also i have checked it earlier regarding change of target document row details like changing item, but this will only remove the link of that particular row and remaining row link remains intact, but in this case there are many items and it doesn't seem user will have changed in all the rows.

13.0.1 is the last version of Photoshop to run on Windows XP but it does not include the Copy CSS feature.
The Copy CSS feature was first introduced in Photoshop 13.1 (Cloud only) and higher.

Photoshop 13.1 does not run on Windows XP. So your operating system is preventing you from upgrading Photoshop to 13.1+.

Automatic deletion of temp files and Disabling copy to option of originals in DMS

Dear DMS Experts,
I have 3 requirements, I have searched the net ,but I am still clueless as to how to do it.
1) The temporary files created in C;\temp ( or the path we have given in dc20 ) has to be deleted after viewing the documents because of security reasons.
I heard about enabling the OLE2 option in table TDWX, but I am not sure .
2) The 'copy to' option of originals has to be disabled in display mode ( CV03N ). Adding further, the 'save as' and 'print option' for MS Office applications ( word, excel ) has to be disabled due to security reasons( I tried with both office integration and %AUTO% )
3) In product browser view ( using folder structure in CV01N ), I need the users to have 'delete link as ' option disabled as they are not supposed to delete the folders created by admin ( Deleting means deleting from the structure and not from the system) . For this, I have given authorization object for bill of materials for the users and disabled 'delete' checkbox as well as 'Delete from database' checkbox . But still, I am able to delete the folders from the structure.
Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Chandu,
I am still in the dark regarding Q2 and Q3 . Regarding Q2, I tried disabling the check out options and also try opening it in SAP Script or smartform by populating the entries in the originals to the smartform. But still download option is possible. Hence I have raised to SAP service market place.
Regarding Q3 , I am trying to use custom authorization object .

Hello All, I have read the below given thread and got the answer but its two year old post and there are so many changes in planning system. Can we disable copy versions option from Planning tools menu ?
or is there any way we can limit the access to users ?

Match (X) or Copy
If the SAP delivery version and the active version can be matched, a checkbox is displayed in this column.
With the most important object types, the active version and the SAP delivery version can be matched.
From a technical point of view, the SAP delivery version (D version) is matched with the M version. As in most cases the M version is identical to the active version (A version) in a customer system, this is referred to as a match between the D and A versions for reasons of simplification.
When a match is performed, particular properties of the object are compared in the A version and the D version. First it has to be decided whether these properties can be matched automatically or whether this has to be done manually. A match can be performed automatically for properties if you can be sure that the object is to be used in the same way as before it was transferred from Business Content. When performing matches manually you have to decide whether the characteristics of a property from the active version are to be retained, or whether the characteristics are to be transferred from the delivery version.
Example of an automatic match
Additional customer-specific attributes have been added to an InfoObject in the A version. In the D version, two additional attributes have been delivered by SAP that do not contain the customer-specific attributes. In order to be able to use the additional attributes, the delivery version has to be installed from Business Content again. At the same time, the customer-specific attributes are to be retained. In this case, you have to set the indicator (X) in the checkbox. After installing the Business Content, the additional attributes are available and the customer-specific enhancements have been retained automatically. However, if you have not checked the match field, the customer-specific enhancements in the A version are lost.
Example of a manual match
An InfoObject has a different text in the A version than in the D version. In this case the two versions have to be matched manually. When Business Content is installed, a details screen appears which asks you to specify whether the text should be transferred from the active version or from the D version.
The Match indicator is set as default in order to prevent the customer version being unintentionally overwritten. If the Content of the SAP delivery version is to be matched to the active version, you have to set the Install indicator separately.
The active version is overwritten with the delivery version if
¡        the match indicator is not set and
¡        the install indicator is set.
In other words, the delivery version is copied to the active version.
If the Install indicator is not set, the object is not copied or matched. In this case, the Match indicator has no effect.
In the context menu, two options are available:
                            a.      Merge All Below
The object in the selected hierarchy level and all objects in the lower levels of the hierarchy are selected as to Match.
                            b.      Copy All Below
The Match indicators are removed for the object in the selected hierarchy level and all objects in the lower levels of the hierarchy. If the Install indicator is also set, these objects are copied from the delivery version to the active version.
The most important properties which are taken into account when versions are matched are now listed.
When referring to InfoObjects it is important to differentiate between:
§         Characteristics
§         Time characteristics
§         Key figures and
§         Units

·        Active Version Available
In this column, the following display options are available:
¡        : The object is available in an active version. You decide whether you want to retain this version or reinstall the latest version of the object.
¡        Date symbol: The object is already available in an active version. However, the active version belongs to an older Content release. SAP recommends that you install the latest version.
¡        Gray symbol: An activated version of the object is available in the system. However, the object status is inactive. If an object version is activated, this indicates that all metadata for the object can be created successfully. The inactive object status indicates that the processed object is inconsistent and cannot currently be used for processing data. Transfer the object again from the SAP delivery version (D version). If this is not enough to change the object status from inactive to active the object has to be postprocessed. You find notes on postprocessing in the activation log.
Postprocessing: An inactive object status may also occur for an InfoObject if changes are made to the structure at field level. Postprocessing the object involves converting the relevant tables in accordance with the activation log.
¡        No indicator: The object is not available in an active version.

Cyberlink media suite does not have copy disc option

My PC came with Cyberlink Media Suite 10. The first month I had it, I was able to access a main menu in the program which gave me a copy disc option. That option is no longer available on the main menu. Does anyone know if there is a trial period for a full version of the software? Any suggestions for a free disc burning program?

Why isn't the Copy CSS option displaying?

I'm a Creative Cloud member, downloaded Photoshop from the Apps and Services page, and have downloaded all the available updates. I still can't see the Copy CSS option when I right click on a layer. What am I missing/doing wrong. Seriously, this one option is the only thing I need.
