  • Create Handling unit after receiving finished goods  from production

    Hello,
My client's requirement is that they do not want a TR or TO to get created at the time of Production order confirmation and neither they want to create the Handling unit at the time of confirmation.
They want to move the material from production to warehouse as one Handling unit after multiple confirmations. They want to create Handling unit manually after the receipt of materials.
What is the process of creating Handling unit after we have FG (multiple batches).
After creation of Handling units, my client wants to ship the same Handling unit out to customer.
    How to create Handling unit
    Regards
    Prabhjot Singh

    Hi,
If I understand right - customer wants a simple transfer of finished goods from production to warehouse, and latter pack into handling units.
    Possible scenario:
    1) Assign production order to non-WM and non-HU storage location. Post GR for production order using transaction MIGO (mvmt. type 101) for a whole quantity produced for production order.
    2) Setup packing table in IMG (Logistic General > Handling Units > General > Setup packing table> ...) --> packing table is a functionality for packing goods into HU - it takes goods from predefined source non-WM/non-HU location, packs them into HU and places them in target WM-HUM location.
    2) Maintain packaging instruction (trans. POP1 and POF1) to automate the packaging quantities.
    3) Run packaging table by HUPAST, select your table and pack.
    4) Packed HU ends up on WM-HUM location.
This process can be done either in SAP GUI (HUPAST) or you can build it in RF transaction and run it with mobile RF scanner (ABAP development required).
Hopefully this will be of any help.

  • How to treat returned goods from customers

    Hi,
How do I treat returned from customers in SAP FICO? The example I have in mind is if company decides to break down raw materials from the finished goods and re-use it Maybe anyone of you have other examples. But in any case, what I want to know is how we treat it in Finance? What are the accounting entries upon return and upon re-use?
    Thanks,
    Josef

    Hi Josef
    Quite an interesting question!!
    1. when you receive the returned goods,
               Stock Dr
                  Change in Stock Cr
    2. Assume your material returned is FG A and it has components B and C... Now you want to cannibalize A and retrieve B and C out of it
This process is more like a rework.. Process steps could be as below
    a. Create a Production order for B - Planned Qty = 1 (Separate order type)
    b. Component in the Production order will be FG A (1 Qty)
    c. Add Component C as a By Product in the Production order BOM i.e. with Qty =  - 1 (Negative)
    d. If you wanna add any Labor or machine hrs, you can aadd manually in the Production order operations
Now, when FG is consumed in the Prod order,
        Consumption of FG   Dr
               Stock   Cr
When stock of B and C will be received,
         Stock of RM   Dr
Change in stock / COGM  Cr

  • Movement code for return from Production without WBS?

    Hi All
How can I return material from production without entering a WBS. Currently we use MB1A movement type 222 but we have difficulty in identifying material coming back from production. But we have to enter a WBS element. As you know, this takes the cost of the material from the WBS. If we have no WBS we cannot return it into stock.
How can I return material into a warehouse from production without entering (no reference) to a WBS? Material is issued to production using movement types 221 and 281.
    Thanks
    Darren

    Hi,
Please try to use the movement types: 521 (or) 531 , to receive goods without referring Production Orders/ WBS elements.

  • Return goods to Subcontractor via delivery

    Hi
We would like to return goods (final products) to subcontractor via delivery, Is this process SAP supports?
what are the process steps to follow?
    Thanks
    Raju

    Hi,
I dont think you can 'return' a finished product to subcontractor. For what purpose you want to return the finished product to the subcontractor? Is any further processing is required? what will be the components of the product? Are you selling the finished product to the subcontractor?
    Please elaborate your requirement.

  • Goods Return from Production

How the rejected goods (at prdn) can be return from Production to stores, as the function in production of goods return is not working.( Issued production order of 10 nos, production completed for 8 nos, the remaining 2 are rejected & to be return to stores for further material accounting)

    Shailesh,
When you are receiving goods after production suppose you have to receive 10 goods out of them 8 are OK and 2 are defective then in the receipt from production form you can enter the first line item by choosing the production Order from the production order Tab below and change the Quantity to 8 which you would like to enter into the Main warehouse while in the next line item manually enter the same Production order no. and in the qty column enter the 2 no.s of Defective goods and change the Wahrehouse no. to Stores. and add the form.
Now when you see the stock you will notice that in the Stores WH stock will increase by 2.
Please let me know if this has solved your problem.

  • Backflush --Goods receipt from Production -- Goods Issue 261 Process

    Hi all
Can anyone please explain the steps that take place in SAP right from when backflush -goods receipt from production happens to the goods issue with movement type 261. At what point does 914 Interim get involved, TR/TO creation etc..
I have an issue where there are stranded open TR's left out which are associated to 261 mvmt type and I would like to understand the whole process better to be able to look analyze the issue. .
    Thanks

    Hi,
In Standard SAP and RF transaction,
If GR is done for the order, system will generate a TO to place the stock in the warehouse bin, based on the stock placement strategy (thro stock placement indicator) it will search the correct bin location.
So TO will be generate automatically then you can scan the TO to confirm it through RF gun, warehouse staff can confirm the TO by scanning it (LM03).
If you need the GR to be done by the production staff by scanning the order number, you need to go with the development, so in the RF gun, they can scan the order and enter the qty to be received and in the back ground TO will be created and warehouse staff can scan and confirm the TO.
    Thanks,

  • Issue while taking goods back from customer ?

    Dear All ,
Client  had get back goods from customer  due to poor quality , now use is in user is taking bak these goods via delv created , so as user  clicks on POST GOODS RECIEPT  he is having an error that " You are not auth for this transaxction with mvmt. type 653, so i had consult to BAIS guy , he had well checked all roles given to the use r& sais that there is no issue with roles authourisation., Kindly guide how to do this process.
    thanx in advance
    sap11

Processes are involved with Customer Returns:
PGI (Post Goods Issue) may be cancelled by Transaction code VL09. The accounting document is just the reverse of the original PGI document.
VL09 creates the movement type 602 Q. But rather than VL09, the generally accepted method for the reverse items is to use the movement type 653, "back to the to the storage location." The accounting document takes the cost "from" the project and moves it back "to" the storage location.
The movement types are entered in the schedule lines in customizing, which are then assigned to the item categories. However, in this process, "no invoice" takes place. If you have a delivery related invoice, it should be cancelled beforehand.
Check for the t-codes and this error comes even if u use a wrong mvt type in the right t-code.. like 311 in GR, jus as an exanple..
    Reward if helpful..

  • Return of Goods from Customer to a Manufacturing Plant

    Hi,
This is a scenario of Return of Goods from Customer to a Manufacturing Plant and Excise Registers RG23A Part 1 and RG23A Part 2 need to be updated. As the material is finished goods so its material type in J1ID is RG1 in the manufacturing plant.
Can any one provide some idea that what process should be followed so that Excise Registers RG23A Part 1 and RG23A Part 2 can be updated after taking it back from the customer?
    Thanks in advance

    Hi,
The issue is only with RG23A Part 1 Register. The RG23A Part 2 is already getting updated through J1IH (with reference to the Return Delivery Document).
After updating the RG23A Part 2 Register if we capture excise invoice without purchase order in J1IEX, it would update RG23A Part 1 as well as Part 2. So, RG23A Part 2 would be updated twice.
If we don't use J1IH at all, then it can be possible to update RG23A Part 1 and Part 2 in J1IEX (without purchase order) but this transaction won't be linked to previous transaction(s) and everything needs to be entered manually.
Can you please provide any alternate solution?
    Thanks in advance

  • HT201401 I am writing to bring to your attention a serious issue I had with your product. My brother  bought one iPhone 4, 16 gb mobile phone from US last year and gifted me in India. but it couldnt be serviced in India why ?

    Hi,
I am writing to bring to your attention a serious issue I had with your product. My brother  bought one iPhone 4, 16 gb mobile phone from US last year and gifted me in India. In few months it had a problem with its home key. I took the phone to service service center and they told me that your phone is having hardware problem and as the phone is under warranty cannot be replace in India. You can come back when this is out of warranty. Now few days back when i walk again to the service center they stated that this phone we cannot repair here in India because of this phone purchased from US.
This a total disgraceful service from such a big brand like apple.
I hope to hear back from you about this incident.
    Sincerely,
    Niranjan
    <Personal Information Edited by Host>

No iPhone has a international warranty. Warranty is valid only in
country of original purchase. Since iPhone was bought in the US,
you must return the iPhone to the US. That means you must personally bring
the iPhone to Apple in the US or send it to a friend/relative in the US for them
to take to Apple. After replacement, your friend can ship it back to you. Shipping
and insurance costs are your responsibility.
Apple does not accept international shipments for evaluation/repair
and will not ship replacements out of the country.

  • Goods Issue in SD delivery (from vendor consignment stock)

    Hi, all.
I'm trying to make a goods issue in SD delivery from a vendor consignment stock (movement 601K), but the system gives me an error message M7071 - I have to enter a vendor at item level, but where? And if I have a stock determination strategie, why the system needs the vendor, if I have stock K available for a vendor?
    Please advise.
    Thanks,
    HA

    Hi Helena Maria,
I think you have made some mistake in the movement types in the consignment processes..
just go through this and its easy to remember...
<b>Please reward if this is useful for you..</b>
    1. Consignment fill up:
    Sales document type is KB
    Item category KBN
    schedule line category 1
In this step, you are not invoicing the customer. document flow is sales order -
delivery item category. It will not be relevant for billing and pricing because you are not charging money for these goods in this step.
In schedule line category, you will set movement type 631 & set for availability check and TOR.
    2. Consignment Issue.
Once the customer informed you that he used all the goods or partial goods then you will create consignment issue for used goods.
    Sales document: KE
    Item category: KEN
schedule line category: C0 or C1
Here you are invoicing the customer(because he used the goods). you are assigning the delivery document and billing document to the sales document.
In item category, you are setting relevant for billing, pricing, special stock.
In schedule line category, your setting is 633 movement type, relevant for availability check & TOR.
    3. Consignment Return:
Customer found that some goods are damaged or he not able to sold the goods he want to send it back. that you are creating this document.
    Sales document type: KR
    Item category: KRN
You will assign delivery document and billing to sales document. you will create return order, return delivery, return billing.
Your setting item category relevant for billing, returns, pricing, special stock.
Your setting schedule line item category: 634 movement type, NO availability NO TOR.
    4. Consignment Pick up:
Even if you create the consignment return the goods are not come to direct to your plant. For that you need to create consignment pick up. here the owner ship is not changing so you do not need to create billing.
Assign return delivery to sales document type.
    Sales document: KA
    Item category: KAN

    Dinesh
There are many ways to fit your requirement in SAP.
    One simple solution is that
    1. Create a virtual storage location in the same plant.
    2. Issue goods with 311 movement type
    3. Enter the name/Emp numner of the employee receive the goods in Goods receipent field of MIGO
    4. In Table - Field MSEG - WEMPF you can view the receiver.( Report).

  • How to make a "return delivery" from a goods mvnt  linked to a reservation

Hi, I want to realize a "return delivery" from a goods mvnt that is linked to a reservation number.
    I'm using FM BAPI_GOODSMVT_CREATE.
I'm able to create a goods mvnt, but this doesn't updates the quantity in the reservation document.
    For example:
There are 10 units of a material reserved in a reservation document.
I create a goods mov. linked to the reservation number by populating the field RESERV_NO and RES_ITEM in the GOODSMVT_ITEM parameter. In this document I fullfilled the TARGET_QTY field with 10. This the positive movement.
After that, reservation document says that there are no units pending to serve. (10 reserved - 10 served = 0 pending).
Now, I want to return 2 units of this material. I fullfilled the fields REF_DOC_YR, REF_DOC and REF_DOC_IT with keys (doc/item/year) of the first goods movement, and MOVE_TYPE with the reversal movement number. But this doesn't updates the quantity in the reservation document.
I tried fullfiling RESERV_NO and RES_ITEM, but this generates a positive movement, not the reversal!
Is there any other process that updates quantity in the reservation document?
    Could anybody help me?

    1) Create a button on the chapter menu with the text MAIN MENU (or whatever you want it to say).
    2) Select the chapter menu in either the graphical or outline view of your DVD.
    3) Click on the Connections tab.
    4) Select the MAIN MENU button in the source column.
    5) Select the main menu in the Targets column.
    6) Click the Connect button above the Targets column.
After doing the above steps you should see the main menu in the Target column to the right of "MAIN MENU:Jump when activated" in the source column. Your MAIN MENU button will now take you back to the main menu.
