Hi all.
I have a couple of customers using a scropt that lets them record, review and upload voiceprompts.
They can store 9 prompts of each type for example "Message of the day".
Later on the can review those prompts and activate them.
Now with uccx 8 my script don't work anymore.
So to be short, I'm looking for a way to listen to and upload a prompt with a new filename, a copy more or less.
Anyone have any suggestions?

Hi..
Solved it myself.
Using a couple of set steps.
First a string variable to point a prompt variable to the wanted promptfile.
Then a set step copying that prompt to a document variable.
After that the upload prompt step worked.

I had a Palm the I used for work and travel it had a very nice application called DOCUMENTS TO GO. It allowed you to upload, view, and edit .doc, .xls, and .ppt files. this was very handy when traveling. Also, I could sync my palm with my iMac and work PC using bluetooth, took care of the file transfers as well. I would like to have the same capability on my iPhone. I bought it to replace all of my old stuff i need it to the same as my old stuff. I hope that Apple reads this and gets on the ball. Until then I still have to carry my Palm or thumb drive on trips.

If you would like to create a package/procedure in order to solve this problem consider using the UTL_FILE in built package, here are a few steps to get you going:
1. Get your DBA to create directory object in oracle using the following command:
create directory TEST_DIR as ‘directory_path’;
Note: This directory is on the server.
2. Grant read,write on directory directory_object_name to username;
You can find out the directory_object_name value from dba_directories view if you are using the system user account.
3. Logon as the user as mentioned above.
Sample code read plain text file code, you can modify this code to suit your need (i.e. read a csv file)

Then my reader and computers were out of sync. When I try to download books I get that they were already downloaded by another user, but also that they are in my library. However, I can't find them, and if I do download, it gives me an error message that the book is DRM protected. How do I get to the point where I can download books again?

I am on windows 7 and I upgraded to 10.0.2 and now it will not open. I have removed firefox completely and uploaded it again and that did not work. So my latest attempt I removed firefox 10 again and uploaded the beta version and once again nothing.

I think when uninstalling you may also have to choose (tick) to delete the preferences and other personal data like the bookmarks, stored passwords etc. to erase completely. If you are installing afresh, please try right-clicking on the file and '''Run as administrator''' to install. And when uninstalling, please also make sure choose to delete all data and also manually delete any '''Mozilla''', '''Mozilla Firefox''' or '''Firefox''' from %appdata%, %localappdata% and %programfiles%. You can open a location by typing for eg. %appdata% in the '''Run''' box (Windows key + R). You may also have to check the '''VirtualStore''' folder in %localappdata%. Files in the VirtualStore can be problematic. I think a clean installation may help.

Browse and Upload

Hey guys,
Im trying to create a browse and upload interface on my website but to no avail. Creating the buttons worked; but making them do what they are suppose to do doesnt. For example, i created a Browse and Upload button. The browse button would search for the file, but the upload button do nothing at all. How do i enable upload to work? Can it be done by html coding? Is it some settings that must be enabled on the server itself?

I don't think I quite understand what you are trying to do? You created a browse function, do you mean search function so you can search for something on your website? Also is the upload function so people can upload content to your server?
To get the upload function to work you will need a lot more than just simple html. Html is not a programming language it is a markup language that just tells the browse what to show. You would need PHP or JS to get an upload function to work with your server.
I bet there are a ton of tutorials on youtube. Try searching for 'how to create an upload function on my website'.
This is beyond what Muse can do. I hope I understood what you were asking. If not please give me more details.

You could follow the instructions in the support document that you linked from. There is a section regarding the passcode and the inability to use it or enter it. However, you may encounter more issues since you cannot use the screen.

What is the simplest way to make and upload video to YouTube?

I’m a video novice trying to figure this out. We want to start making short customer testimonial videos and upload them to YouTube as part of a social media marketing campaign. I want to come up with a solution that is fast and easy, takes as little time as possible. On the recommendation of an associate I bought a Flip Video camera and that worked beautifully except for one problem, the audio volume of the recordings was ridiculously low. So am returning that.
We have a Panasonic PV-GS65 and I can use that, but the only way I've figured out how to make a video there and get it onto my computer is to connect it to iMovie, let it play/load into iMovie, then from there I don’t know how to get it uploaded to YouTube but I'm guessing I have to do some formatting/compressing, then manually upload, and that is all way more hassle than I'm looking for.
I LOVED the simplicity of the Flip Video approach. Shoot it, the camera directly in, select the video, push the upload button and it was done. If the audio quality was better I'd use that for sure.
Any suggestions? If there’s something similar to Flip Video that I can buy cheap and use, I'll do it. If there’s an easy way to use our current camcorder, that’s fine too. But I can’t be messing around for 10-15 minutes trying to import, format and then upload this stuff. I have a business to run.

Excel Download correct and upload

Hi Oracle Apps Design Gurus,
We are involved in designing an application involving download , correct and upload of quotes data. The specific s of the requirement are:
1. Extract Quotes data: Buyer runs a process to extract Quotes data with select parameters.Selected Quotes data extracted in spreadsheet format.
2. Update extracted Quotes data: Buyer updates the Quote data in Excel. Updated Quotes data is ready to be uploaded into Oracle.
3. Upload modified Quotes data: Buyer uploads the spreadsheet with updated Quotes data into Oracle.     Updated Quotes data is loaded in to Oracle. Exceptions are output in a report.
Some of the constraints of this design:
1. Client has only e-business suite license. No other oracle tools which require license may be used.
2. Client wants to achieve this within the standard framework as far as possible.
3. Complex navigation from one form to another is not wanted.
The first thing that occured to us was the use of Oracle Web ADI for this. But we are not sure as to how that can be used to download correct and upload in the same spreadsheet.
We will be much grateful for any help in desgning this or any alternative approach to the problem.

Have you tried resetting the PMU?
I'm not optimistic that this will help any more than the procedures you've already tried, but it won't hurt to try.
Do you still have your OS 9 installation? If so, try booting into OS 9 and see if the problems with the audio are happening there, too. If so, you can bet it's a hardware problem.
How big is your hard drive and how much space remains available on it? If you don't have your OS 9 installation in order to check out whether it's a hardware problem and you have enough available hard drive space, you may want to try an Archive and Install of the OS in order to make sure it isn't an OS X system-wide problem. If that doesn't do it, you could back up your hard drive and restore your software.
All of this may just be spinning your wheels, but it's all stuff you can try before shelling out a lot of money for repairs.
