Reading notes from PB0024/PA0024

Hi,
I am trying to read/write the note from PB0024 and I am not talking about the note from the 'Maintain Text' from the main menu 'Edit' of the usual PA infotypes. If you create a PB or PA0024, you will be able to have a 'note' icon on the same line of the record.
If you click the icon, you will be able to maintain the note but it looks different from the usual note. It is like a wordpad kind of environment.
I am trying to insert the record in PB0024 with the note via a customized program which I had developed. But so far, I had only managed to insert the record in PB0024 but failed in the note part. Appreciate if I can get some help. I had tried Read_text and HR_ECM_READ_TEXT_INFOTYPE. But both do not seem to work.

YES.. you are correct.. the following worked for me to read the notes on 0024.. may be you can try something similar with the SAVE_TEXT function call to save the notes..
