Reading orgunit address

Hello All!
I need to read orgunit address information (infotype 1028) from external system using RFC connector. Is there any BAPI for that like BAPI_ADDRESSEMP_GETIST/GETDETAIL for employee address? If no then what FM should I use, HR_READ_INFOTYPE?

Theres is no delivered BAPI. You can use RH_GET_ADDRESS with a custom rfc wrapper. HR_READ_INFOTYPE is only for PA infotypes.

This never happened before, however the last couple of months it comes up every time I plug my USB from PC to iphone.

    HyperNova Software,
Thank you so much.  Because I am very computer illiterate, could you help me on how to get started?  I don't have the slightest on where to get started, the steps to follow, etc.
Can't thank you enough for your help!

  • Getting Page not found while trying to read ws-addressing.xsd file in IE

    Hi All,
Here I am creating dynamic partner link to call OSB service in my BPEL process. I wan make it dynamic to change run time server address and port numbers. Here I am getting Error (Error occurred reading inline schemas) while creating reference variable as per BPEL cook book. To resolve that exception, I have created /bpel/system/xmllib/ folders in SOA 11g and placed ws-addressing.xsd file. After I am trying to import in BPEL process, still I am getting same Exception.
Even I tried to read ws-addressing.xsd file through IE browser (http://Host:Port/orabpel/xmllib/ws-addressing.xsd) after placing that directory(/bpel/system/xmllib/). My SOA server and everything is running.
    Thanks in advance.

    Paul,
You can try the suggestion in this thread on the XE forum:
Re: Problem with importing HTML DB applications
It also shows how to turn on logging in the XE web server.

  • Unable to access only Read Write addresses of AB Micrologix 1400 PLC using NI DSC and NI OPC server

    Hi,
I have been using NI DSC and OPC servers (NI and Kepware) to communicate with Allen Bradley Micrologix 1400 PLC (1766-L32BXB). Recently at one  site I found that I could access Process values from the PLC correctly (Read Only tags) but could not access the Read Write Tags at all. The latter are addresses to which it should be possible to write Set (i.e., references) values from MMI or PC software. I am able to do so from the MMI not from the PC software. I get communication error message on the MMI and PC, mentioning the PLC address being accessed (e.g. N7:0).
Support from the supplier is not available. Hence can anyone let me know if ladder logic could have been written to prevent PC software based access of Read/write addresses (N7:0 to 9 in this case), while permitting access to Read only addresses? Is the problem at the PLC end or OPC server end? Is there a way to get around this?
    Thanks in advance.

The OPC Server cannot force Outputs so if th registers in question are the outputs of ladder rungs you cannot write to them via the server. The controller will accept the write from the server but will not execute the write. In some cases the server event log will post an error if it is the PLC. Do you get errors when you try to write and if so what are the posted error messages.

    Dear DBA,
I am using Oracle 10g R2 in Windows XP and Toad Version 9.6.0.27 And While Connecting to the Database , I am having *"Access violation at address 00000000. Read of address 00000000"* in Toad . Is there any Solution ?
    Thanks & Regards

We have the same issue here. I put a ticket in with support and received
    this response
    ==============================
If you have two 10g clients installed only the first one listed in the
environment variable path works in Toad 9.5. The other gets an access
violation error. Could you please try and switch them just to confirm
that is the same with yours?
    For Example:
    1. Right Click My Computer
    2. Properties | Advanced tab
    3. Environment Variables
    4. Scroll down system variables to Path | Edit
    Path=Developer-Suite 10 GR2 ; Oracle Client 10.2.0.1.0;

  • Access violation at address 00000000. Read of address 00000000. (WRT54G)

I recently started receiving the following pop up window (access violation at address 00000000. Read of address 00000000) every time I restart my machine.
Sometimes I have one pop up, other times I have to shut down because it continues to give me continuous pop ups.
    Please advise.

Disconnect the Router from the computer & connect the computer directly to the Modem ...check if you are getting the same kind of Pop-ups ....
If so then there is an issue with your own Operating System ,,,,

I'm using the following bash function to get the MAC address of the current router when logging in. The script works when I run it after logging in but doesn't work from my login hook (running as root). The script fails even after sleeping for 30 seconds prior to running. I know the interface is up because my mail client is finished checking mail by the time the script pings the router runs the arp command. I could run it as a cron job, but I'd like to understand why it fails during login.

  • "Read only" address book??

    Hi there,
really hoping someone can help, because I fear I'm starting to lose the plot. Unfortunately I'm not the most tech savvy person. I had an iPhone, and then when that broke got a Curve 8520 as a work phone. One of the times I has it plugged into my laptop, all my old iPhone contacts copied over, which was brilliant.
Last week however I dropped my phone in the loo, and long story short, I have a new one (same model). When I tried to restore my settings from where I backed up my Curve v1, my address book won't copy over as it's "read only". It shows up as light grey writing.
I have no idea what to do- I've been trying for days to copy the contacts over, but to no avail. I can't say it to IT in work because, truthfully, they'll just laugh in my face.
Please help!! I just want to have my contacts back!!
    Thanks,
    kate

    Guess what !!!
I was working on the same today and actually was searching the
    FAQ's for a better solution.
The solution for your first question, reading the IP address, it
can be done in Java or Log Server. Once you configure it along
with ur web server the IP address and other information are
available to you. With Java, I think u can get the so called
information from the http header. Also, the print command in D2k
actually prints the active window onto the users browser. So, I
hope in which case you don't need to worry about his IP address.
the solution for your second question, can I run scripts in D2k,
I think u can, may be in a round about way, u can actually call a
    URL form D2k using
    web.show_document('URL','TARGET')
If I can call a URL, I think I can attach the respective scripts
in the resulting page, or I can call a stored procedure which
    sets up the respective page.
    Krishna.

  • Reading Personal Address Book from Forms 6i.

I need to read entries from outlook personal address book. I am using form 6i. Form should read entries in personal address book and return values back to form.
I can open a new mail message window to access outlook address book but my requirement is to read the entries of the address book.
I am planning to use DLLs (convert dlls into pll and access the functions of address book). But I did not do it yet. If anyone has done this kind before please share.
    Please post your suggestions.

    Any suggestions ?
