Rebate arrangement for retail Solution

Hello,
We´ve a issue related to rebate arrangement for purchase orders belong to a supplier.
When we run transaction MEB4, the systems recopilate all good receipt in the year 2008 and purchase order date in 2008, the year valid for rebate agreement. So the question is, is it possible the system actualize the rebate agrement with all goods receipt in 2008 and also purchase order in 2007 ?
Now, i´ve found related topics in Sap notes but our customer had already implemented this notes in your system.
Thanks for all.

Did not work for me.
Other ideas?
Greetings (also from Frankfurt)

  • BC sets for Retail solution

We have installed the Retail solution and do not intend to use the best practices.  We would like to activate relevant BC sets though.  We have identified the following BC sets associated with EA-RETAIL:
    EA-RETAIL-AKH
    EA-RETAIL-IMG
    EA-RETAIL-MENU
    FRE/EA_RETAIL/STORE_50
    FRE/EA_RETAIL/STORE_50/BASIC_SET
    FRE/EA_RETAIL/STORE_50/REF_DET_S
Does anyone know of any other BC sets that maybe relevant for Retail but not necessarily be listed in the EA-RETAIL software component?

  • Product Costing in SAP Retail Solution

    Hi experts
I have a question about product costing in SAP Retail (SAP ECC 6.0).
In material master data (Tr. MM43 - Tr. MM42) Product Costing view for Logistics:CD sheet is activated.
Although, for Logistics:Store sheet is not activated.
In customizing, we have tried to activate the Product Costing view for Logistics:Store sheet, but there no standard dynpro to use it. So, we have some doubts:
    - Do we have to create customer (Z) dynpros in order to activate Product Costing view for Logistics:Store sheet?
    - Does SAP allows Product Costing functionality in SAP Retail solution?
If both answers are YES, i have another doubt:
    - In our business scenario, the store is supplied by the Distribution Center. So, does it make sense to run product costing for
    a articles in a Store?
We think it makes sense to apply product costing functionality in Distribution center. In order to analyze deviations from
Standard costs to real costs.  But we are not sure about Stores.
Does anyone have experience in customizing product costing functionality for a SAP retail in a Logistics:Store?
    Thank you for your time

    hi
Product hierarchy in R3 is termed as Merchandise category hierarchy in SAP IS retail
But in R3 Product hierarchy is not used much but Merchandise category hierarchy that is termed as MCH  is a basic thing reqd for defining master data that is article master data which is nothing but material master in R3
As i said Product hierarchy  levels are available in R3 also but not much used
Merchandise category hierarchy levels is most commonly used in SAP IS retail
What we call material group in R3 is same as Merchandise category in SAP IS retail and material in R3 is article in Retail
    Merchandise category hierarchy levels
Say a Retail mall has merchandise items
Under merchandise there are 2 divisions Food and non food
Under nonfood say there are 2 divisions  say hardware and apparel
Under apparel there   2 divisions  say Mens wear and ladies wear
Under mens wear you have t shirts, shirts and pants etc
Here t shirts, shirts and pants etc are individual articles
Menswear  and ladies wear are material groups
Hardware and apparel are merchandise hierarchy level 1
Food and non food merchandise hierarchy level 2
Retail mall is merchandise hierarchy level 3
like that hierarchy levels are commonly defined and used as a must to have efficient master data in SAP retail and the maximum no of hierarchy to have ideally is 6 apart from Merchandise category
In our example we have defined three levels
The same functionality can be used as product hierarchy in R3 also but doesnt been put in to use much
In Retail the no of articles a store is going to manage to be will be huge hence this sort of seggregation is needed there must
For more clarity try to post this in retail forum(Trading industries)

  • TDMS for RETAIL/STORE

    Hello Expert Zone,
Finally I started working on the CRM extraction, and here is my scenario.
Source system: 300 warehouses worth of member data.
    Target: Blank/empty.
Objective: Copy /extract member/membership data from source by warehouse type ( 320 - 340 only ), to bring in 20 warehouse worth of data, and nothing else..
What template should be used in this case? appreciate if someone can share your inputs with step by step procedure.
    Thanks,
    V.

    Hello Vikram,
I see this query related to the discussion we had in your previous thread:
    http://scn.sap.com/message/15025928#15025928
If i understand correctly, you have CRM loyalty management coupled with SAP POS.
What i understand is that there is SAP Retail system and there is SAP CRM.
For CRM data reduction, TDMS provides date criteria. TDMS CRM does not reduce CRM loyalty management data, which means that the data in these tables will be fully copied across from sender to receiver system.
We do have TDMS Retail solution where we do reduction based on below.
    1) Store/Site(In retail terminology)
    2) Customer number
    3) Date
Let me know if i have answered your question.

  • Loyalty Management for Retail

    Hi,
My company is implementing SAP Loyalty Management which is a part of SAP CRM. If anyone has worked on implementing Loyalty Management for a retail customer please provide some inputs.
Does any one have best practice documents for Loyalty Management.
    Thanks
    Barry

    Hi Barry,
you're right. SAP is coming up with a new tool called SAP Promotion Management for Retail. Basically, the tool provides a solution for the planning of promotions including the creation of a flyer.
SAP Promotion Management is a separate solution with interfaces to SAP ERP to get Master Data from the ERP System and to create promotions after the promotion planning is finished. If I remember correctly, the interfaces are provides with EHP4.
Please have a look at ...
    ... this SAP Webcast: http://www.sap.com/community/events/2009_06_17_EPM/index.epx

Also, there is a german documentation, unfortunately, I didn't find the english one... sorry, for this: http://help.sap.com/saphelp_pmr70/helpdata/de/82/FC25B90C244E47878B3EA0BE970F88/frameset.htm

    Hi SAP Gurus,
I have one question regarding Site Profiles in Retail solution.  I have two different companies with the following structure:
    Company 1000

    Store 1100
    Store 1101
    Company 2000

Distribution Center 1000 supplies Stores 1100, 1101, 2100, 2101 and DC 2000. In my opinion, the site profile for stores 2100 and 2101 should be 0120, but Iu2019m not shore if stores 1100 and 1101 should have site profile 0110 or 0120.

  • Rebate arrangement

    Hi,
How can i configure a rebate arrangement to have 2 separate G/L accounts upon posting thru MEB4? Currently, the only account being reflected is the Purchase Rebates. i want to have it broken down into 2 separate G/L accounts, say, Purchase Rebates and VAT Payable. Thanks.

    Hi
It is possible to have one more than one GL account for posting rebates.
You just need to activate the valuation modification.

  • Business Process Maps/ Process Flows for Retail Operations

    Dear All,
I am looking for Business Process Maps/ Process Flows for Retail Operations like forecasting, inter store transfers, ASN, Procurement, Allocation etc.
Kindly provide me with a link, docs, PPts etc.
Appreciation would be in the form of points.
    Regards,
    Jack Silverz

    Hi Jack
Seeing as you only got one reply - I'm jumping in with my 2-peneth.
Seldom have I found process content which sufficiently explains both manual and automated processes in a format which is sufficiently simple to engage discussion (between project teams and business representatives).  Is there a way to strike the required balance - simplicity for the sake of engagement; yet rich enough to record SAP dependencies, system requirements and so forth.
An answer in my opinion is [here|https://ecohub.sdn.sap.com/irj/ecohub/solutions/control2007].  (Honest account - I work for Nimbus.  But you don't have to take my word for it.  Check out our case studies if you like. This approach is being adopted by several strategic SAP accounts several of which are listed [here|https://ecohub.sdn.sap.com/irj/ecohub/solutions/control2007]).
What might partly address your requirement is the [APQC Process Classification Framework|http://www.apqc.org/portal/apqc/site/?path=/research/pcf/index.html] . We took this framework as a starting point for building a model company process map. I cannot claim that it is Retail specific, but we have quite a few retail customers who have adopted Control 2007 and also several supply chain optimization projects which we have delivered.
If this is of interest - we provide a web hosted demonstration environment where you can explore the APQC process content I mentioned above. You can contact me through [SAP EcoHub|https://ecohub.sdn.sap.com/irj/ecohub/solutions/control2007] for more details

  • Multi-step replenishment and ECC 5 for Retail

I have a few questions regarding this topic as we are trying to get a handle on this functionality. So, if any of these questions is applicable to you I would appreciate an answer:
    1. Are any of you out there running the Mult-step Replenishment functionality SPECIFICALLY ON ECC 5.0?
1.a) as a follow on to this question, are you running the Retail Industry solution?
    2. For those of you running this on ECC 6, did you first implement this on ECC 5 (or older)?
2.a) as a follow on to this question, did you experience problems or require changes to your solution when you upgraded to ECC 6?
And for the consultants out there:
    3. Do you or do you know of someone who has direct experience with implementing this functionality on ECC 5 for Retail?
    Thanks,
    Don

    Hi n Thnks,
But also i wanted to know how exactly IS-Retail will help us in comparision to ECC 5.0.
I mean i want to know what excatly will be the added adv. of it over ECC.
(bcoz browsing through sites / forums is not giving me much of a info.)
ALso if i change my existing ECC system to Retail what will be the implications on the current envioroment.
Can i get a Link / PPT/ article relating to this.

  • MDM for Retail Hierarchies

    Hello,
We are planning to implement SAP-MDM as master data solution for retail hierarchy management.  By retail hierarchies, I mean, lcoation hierarchy, merchandizing (product) hierarchy, time hierarchy etc.  Each of these hierarchies have 4-8 levels, and have 10-40 attributes at each of the level.  The business requirement is to create, maintain, and distribute the hierarchy data.
    1) There are requirements around validating the attribute values for required vs. non required (by business unit, for instance?), drop down vs. free form text field, text length, text vs. numeric;
    2) Then there are requirements around security that apparel user cannot update hierarchy for footwear products; an in-line user cannot update a promotional product; in-line and promotional are values of a node.
    3) Then there are audit requirements on who made what change when.
Q1: Has anyone done retail hierarchies in MDM so far?  If so, any tips/tricks or learnings you had?  I know MDM can meet all the validation, security, audit requirements for fields; are the same available at taxonomy attribute level?
I am also planning to use Retail artcile (out of the box) repository as the base, and add the retail hierarchy taxonomy on top of that.
Q2: Does anyone have field meanings, descriptions or notes for the tables and fields in the retail article repository?  f you have, could you please share them with me soon?
My deadline for finishing the prototype and doing a demo is next Friday.
    Thank you in advance
    Savi

Yes , Equipment master can be modeled in SAP MDM through the use of a custom repository as out-of-box business contents are not provided by SAP . Recently I came across an opportunity where they wanted to implement MDM for equipment master due to following reasons :
Maintain a complete Equipment/Location wise hierarchy at a central place
To be able to consolidate similar equipments across plants
    Cleanse existing Equipment masters
Effective data management (Search , Author , Update etc.)

  • Minimum documents required to finish Sales Process for retail Business

    Hello Everybody
This is my 1st post in the forum as per the Rules and Regulations i have searched for the solution may be i was not able to reach to my Answer.
I have been assigned to a project where my client also has  Reatail Outlets where the sales process is done mostly.
My client requirement is, they want to have minimum sales process as there will be many walk-in customers which will not allow them to have complete cycle.
My question is do we need to have sales order-delivery-PGI-Billing can we skip one or two document or is there any other way for Retail Business.
Note: Dear Moderators if my question is not in proper forum please guide me.
    Thanks
    Riyaz Malik

    Hi
The better option is to use IS-Retail, but you need that your system is installed as an IS-Retail. If it's the case, then you can use the invoice FP (see it in VOFA). SAP gives you the IDOC WPUUMS to create this invoice and the PGI (movements 251/252). You need to have create the plant as a POS (point of sale) with tcode WB01/02/03, and in tab 'POS' mantain the data that determines the pricing procedure. The materials, is better to mantain as articles, ie, with tcodes MM41/42/43 instead MM01/02/03, and more details, but of course you need that your system will be an IS-R. If your system is an IS-R see SM30 for view V_TWPIV. So, when your process the IDOC you create the invoice and process the PGI (well, the movements in the profile).
    I hope this helps you
    Regards
    Eduardo
