Is Yahoo your Internet provider? Do you have a local provider? ei:AT&T, SBC, cable co, check who you make your check or epatment to...etc, If so I would start there, but if no joy go to the "Mothership"
I may be wrong about this, (it's been a long time now) I may have deleted my mail account from Mail (after writing down all the info from all General/accounts, and the rest of the tabs, and then added a new account using my existing email address, and it may have "walked me thru the rest of the proceedure".
But like I said it was a long time ago 3-4 years, but that may have been the path I ended up taking, make sure to write all the info down in case you need to re-enter it all manually. Then try calling them.

I have had some log-in problems with users. I have found that restarting the server helps. If this doesn't work, I rebuild permissions on the server, followed by opening up Workgroup Manager, go to the user's password, click on options and require that the user change password on the next log-in. For some reason, this will usually fix the problem. I then log in as the user, and "change" the password to the original one. Also note, that if you import a user, the password is not brought in. You must enter it for each user that you imported. Even so, I have often had to resort to the re-set password procedure to enable a log-in.

The wifi symbol only indicates the presence/signal strength of wifi. Not that you are connected.
Some things to try first:
1. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord for 30 seconds or longer) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
2. Go to Settings>Wi-Fi and turn Off. Then while at Settings>Wi-Fi, turn back On and chose a Network.
3. Change the channel on your wireless router (Auto or Channel 6 is best). Instructions at http://macintoshhowto.com/advanced/how-to-get-a-good-range-on-your-wireless-netw ork.html
4. Go into your router security settings and change from WEP to WPA with AES.
5. Renew IP Address: (especially if you are droping internet connection)
    •    Launch Settings app

    •    In the window that opens, tap on the Renew Lease button

Whenever I try to connect to my wireless network (which may or may not be the problem) it won't let my try to type in the password... It will just say "unable to connect"... WHAT DO I DO?!?

I forgot the password, but remember it now, but it won't let me try to type it in..

Try Settings>WiFi>Your network Name>Forget this network. Then go back to Settings>WiFi>Your Network Name. You should get the option to enter the password again.

Cannot print to canon MP160, dialog box says printer off line, but it is on line, OK printing with IE

I just installed the Canon MP160 printer. I downloaded the driver software from Canon version 12.1.4.0.(2/8/2008). I can print documents fine from Internet Explorer. When I go to print from Firefox the printer dialog box says the printer is "off line" and I get printer queue error messages. I can also print OK from windows. I have a PC 32 bit with Windows Vista.

Thanks for the suggestion. I did that this morning (see Step 1) and deleted the existing printer before re-adding a new printer and using the newly updated driver and printer description. Here's what I get:

I have reinstalled all drivers, powered off/on all printers (2 of them - a Brother HL - 4040cn and an Epson Stylus Pro 7890 - which all worked fine until this morning). There appears to be no path to a solution. I have read all the forums and tried about 20 different suggestions all to no avail. Reboots, changing cables, reinstalling printers and drivers and Photoshop CS6 - ALL TO NO AVAIL. On a macbook pro retina with 10.10.3. This issue is out there and some get solutions - but not all - that's my crowd...the not all crowd. I have yet to be able to print from CS6 any more. This is a show stopper and my patience is wearing thin. And I'm tired of stupid questions like "is your printer powered on?" give me a break. Photoshop 3 I keep getting a dialog box saying the program is not responding

I keep getting a dialog box saying "Program is not responding" after opening up Photoshop Elements 3.
I have to shut the program down and start over.

You need to tell them what operating system you are using, and what circumstances causes Elements to freeze. Does restarting the computer make a difference? How long has this been happening, and can you correlate to something you have done or installed, like fonts or third party plugins?

You may need to rebuild permissions on your user account. To do this,boot to your Recovery partition (holding down the Command and R keys while booting) and open Terminal from the Utilities menu. In Terminal, type: ‘resetpassword’ (without the ’s), hit return, and select the admin user. You are not going to reset your password. Click on the icon for your Macs hard drive at the top. From the drop down below it select the user account which is having issues. At the bottom of the window, you'll see an area labeled Restore Home Directory Permissions and ACLs. Click the reset button there. The process takes a few minutes. When complete, restart.
