It sounds like you're not able to access the Internet on your iPad. I found a couple of resources that will help.

Try double tapping with three fingers and see if that reduces the screen image. If it does, unlock the iPad and go to Settings>General>Accessibility>zoom>Off. If double tapping with three fingers doesn't work, try triple tapping the home button instead.

HELP! I have recently uploaded IOS 8.1.2. to my iPhone 5c and since then have had trouble receiving iMessages to my iPhone. Bizarrely, my messages are being received on my partner's iPhone 5c. His phone has not been uploaded with IOS8. Does anyone know of a solution for me please?
Also do you think my partner's phone is synced to my phone in someway. if so does anyone know how to unsync?

If you are sharing an Apple ID, that could explain it. If you go to Settings>Messages, does it show that iMessage is activated on your device? If so, then go to Send & Receive and see what is checked off on your device. Then check your partner's device and if your phone number or Apple ID are checked there, then remove them.

I have heard rumours of an 8.1 update for developers. I just found another bug in 10.9.5. I am beginning to think that nobody should touch any update from Apple until they can get their very serious Q/A problems sorted out. This is getting bad.

In the good old days of Snow Leopard, an open Finder folder had a border along the bottom of the window which could show the number of items in that window and the total available space on the hard disk or partition that folder resides on. That bottom border is gone in Lion and those two bits of information are gone with it. Is that what you're talking about? I would feel dreadful If I thought had caused you a problem. The warnings about Java are fully justified but providing you are communicating with a known source, and as I said, you disable it the moment you have finished, you should be safe.
It might also be worth asking your bank what problem they have and would it be the same if you were using Firefox, for example.
Like you, I am very security minded, in fact I won't even put my bank details on my Mac let alone run my account that way.

You were probably using the Release Candidate version of camera raw 8.7, which one gets from Adobe Labs.

You can not merge accounts.
Apps are tied to the Apple ID used to download them, you can not transfer them.

Im having the same problem. This started with iOS 8 and Yosemite. Im in a group message with 10 people with and without iPhones. Currently have 9 threads and when ever a new person responds a new thread forms. they all have the same people but in a different order, that may be part of the reason why iMessage doesn't recognize them as the same conversation.
As I'm writing this post 3 new threads opened and other people with and without iPhones are mentioning the same problem
