Redownloading previously purchased music
On my previous computer I bought several songs on iTunes, but I can't seem to download them again. I'm logged unto the exact same account that I originally bought the songs with, and they appear on the billing list aswell, but I can't download them :/
I searched around the internet for some time to find an answer, and was told I'd find it under the 'Purchased' tab on iTunes Store front page... but my music isn't there! It only shows purchased Apps, and purchased Books (though I haven't bought any books). Even the music I bought jsut 15 minutes ago isn't there...
Am I looking at the wrong 'purchased tab' or something? Any help is appreciated!
The Denmark store currently offers repeat downloads for Apps & Books only. Hopefully that will change in due course.

HT201272 Error in connection when downloading previously purchased music. Help please!
I'm trying to download previously purchased music onto a new authorized computer, but for a number of songs (1 in 10 approximately), I continually get the message that the connection cannot be established.
In my Library, these songs cannot be played.
However, when I go back under Itunes Store > Purchased - beside every song (regardless of whether it was successfully downloaded or not), it says Downloaded. So I can't download them again.
Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!Ability to redownload varies from country to country, the US having most options currently:

If you think you should have more optons check your country is correctly set in iTunes.

How can I get all my previously purchased music.
What do you mean by 'does not work' ? If you would like help from these user-to-user forums then more info would be useful.
Do they songs show in the Purchased link under Quicklinks on the right-hand side of the iTunes store homepage on your computer's iTunes ? If they do, but they don't have the cloud symbol against them for redownloading, then do you still have them listed in the Music part of your library (where you would click on them to play them) ? If you do then try deleting them from there and they should then get the cloud symbol against them in Purchased for redownloading.
If you are in a country where music can't be redownloaded,or if you've changed countries since buying them or they are no longer in your country's store (content providers occasionally remove their content), then you will need to copy them back from your backup of your downloads/library. -

Cannot download previously purchased music
I am trying to download previously purchased music, Darius Rucker True Believer album, to my iPhone 5. I've tried using my LTE connection and WiFi. When I click on the cloud icon, it spins for a few seconds then stops. If I try to stream the song it just goes to the next song that's actually on my iPhone. I get no error message or prompt to sign in with my credentials. Having the same issue with a few other songs. I've downloaded updates and podcasts today so I know my connection is working.
I am not using iTunes Match.
Any ideas?
Thanks!OK.
Not sure what your question is. The error message explains it pretty well. -
I recently had to uninstall itunes and reinstall it again. How do I get my previously purchased music back on my itunes?
Depending on what country that you are in you might be able to re-download past music purchases via the Purchased link under Quick Links on the right-hand side of the iTunes store home page - re-downloading : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2519
But if you only re-installed iTunes and you didn't remove the actual music from your computer, then it should still be on there, and you should be able to add it back into iTunes via File > Add Folder To Library - by default your iTunes content should have been stored under :
Windows 7 and Vista : \users\username\My Music\iTunes.
Windows XP : \user\Documents and Settings\username\My Documents\My Music\iTunes. -
New iPod will not redownload already purchased music
I have had to get a new iPod due to accidental damage on my last one. The new one has successfully downloaded all my apps, but music is not downloading. I can see all the previously purchased music on my iPod via purchased section on iTunes, i press the cloud/download button but my iPod is displaying 'unable to download at this time'. I get the option to press done or retry, but neither of these do anything. What causes this problem? What else can try to get it all my music to download?
That message would indicate an Apple problem. I would just wait.

Please help - I'm not able to download previously purchased music
Please advice how I can download previously purchased music in iTunes. - The music icon is missing in the Purchased window.
Thanks

Previously purchased music is only available through iTunes in the Cloud in Australia, Canada, Cypress, France, Ireland, Luxembourg, Malta, Mexico, New Zealand, Spain, the United Kingdom, and the United States
Have you not got a backup copy on, for example, an external drive or CD/DVD ? Or on an iPod, iPad or iPhone that you can connect to your computer's iTunes and do File > Transfer Purchass to copy them back from ? -
I reset my apple id and lost access to my previously purchased music.
I reset my apple id password and lost access to my previously purchased music. How do I get those songs back in my cloud?
What do you mean by "reset?"
Your iTunes Store purchases are tied to the Apple ID (email address) that they were purchased with. If you log in to iTunes with a different Apple ID then you won't have access to your previous purchases. Is that what is happening? -
My computer just crashed tonight and I am trying to get my previously purchased music onto my new laptop but it keeps asking for my payment info like I am trying to make another purchase... Shouldn't I get it for free since I already paid for it?? I dont know if they are asking just because or if they are gonna charge me. I dont wanna go further until I know because that would be a large purchase and I am already out quite a bit of money today.
Thanks,
MandyCurrently music purchases can only be re-downloaded for free if you are in the US (re-downloading). If you are not in the US then you will need to buy them again if you want to re-download them - in which case have you not got a backup of your purchases on, for example, external drives or CDs/DVDs ?

I cannot find a way to authorize my new computer to play previously purchased music from itunes. The directions say to click on STORE menu, but I don't see that option.
Go to the Store menu item on the menu bar, and choose Authorize This Computer, as shown below.
If by any chance you don't see the menu bar (File, Edit, View, Controls, Store, Help), first enable it by using CTRL+B.
