Reg an error related to default organization dn

Hi,
We created a Test DC in our environment., dc=test,dc=alpha,dc=com , but the actual default organization dn was dc=alpha,dc=com.
And recently we deleted the Test DC, dc=test,dc=alpha,dc=com, from which we started getting errors related to provisioning profile,
When i tried checking the synchronization status , it is throwing error , cause it is taking the wrong organization dn value,

1. Searched for the entry:

2. Created test.ldif file with the below entry:
dn: cn=common,cn=products,cn=oraclecontext
changetype: modify
replace: orcldefaultsubscriber
orcldefaultsubscriber: dc=alpha,dc=com
Executed modify command:
ldapmodify -h oidtest.bpweb.bp.com -p 3060 -D "cn=orcladmin" -w XXXXXXXXXXXXX -f test.ldif
3. Again searched for the value and it shows the right one now.
ldapsearch -h oidtest.bpweb.bp.com -p 3060 -b "cn=common,cn=products,cn=oraclecontext" -s base "cn=*" orcldefaultsubscriber

dn: cn=Common,cn=Products,cn=OracleContext

4. And checked provisioning and it is working fine now

Hi All,
I have checked work schedules and work sc. rules. everything looks fine. Reason being fine, same work schrdule rule, i.e. 5MTWTF is used for other employees, whose payroll area, personnel area, personnel subarea, employee group and employee subgroups are same.
Why it is throwing error for one employee 753402.
I am providing you more information. In table V_T569r, if u select recalculation category as time evaluation, it is mentioned as 01.01.2003. Initially, one action called "Conversion take on" has been maintained as on 01.03.2002, where employee had payroll area -99 (payroll irrelevant) and personnel subarea - DAYY.
Then on 17.03.2008, another action ran "Conversion initial reassignment" where payroll area changed to "MT - monthly", subarea changed to DAYF. At that time PDC recalculation date in infotype 0003 was 01.03.2002 which was before recalculation date, i.e. 01.01.2003.
Time evaluation was throwing 2 error messages. one was solved by changing PDC recaluation date to 17.03.2008. But other error related to work sc rule 1 VM 01 5MTWTF still occurs.
Can some body now provide some useful information?

Error related to namespace mismatch in BPEL

We are facing an error related to NameSpace of a variable in BPEL process.
We are sending a SOAP XML request to a third-party web service and fetching the XML response in a variable. There is a mismatch in the namespace of the variables. The xml response is having ‘ns1:’ while the variable created in BPEL process is having ‘ns23:’. Thus the process is giving the following error when initiated:

Complete error message is attached. We tried to rename the variable by changing the namespace in <process>.bpel file but that did not solve the issue. We have also tried to create a new process where the namespace given to the new output variable is ns1: But still he error persists.
Any pointer/suggestion to solve this issue is highly appreciated.
PS: We are using BPEL: 10.1.2.0.2

You are lacking some really basic core Java knowledge here. Are you perhaps trying to learn Java by diving right into a web application? If so - you can give up now, you have to start from the beginning and that is learn Java. Not only the language, the platform and the tools too.

How to set DEFAULT ORGANIZATION in IDM

Hi all,
something strange here.
I assigned 3 different organizations in IDM to a couple of our Administrators.
Here's the problem : whenever an administrator performs a CREATE action (Creates a new user), for some reason, IDM chooses the third organization as the DEFAULT organization in which to place the Employee.
I intentionally removed the : *<FieldRef name='waveset.organization'/>*
Even then, it's quite weird that IDM would decide for itself which Organization to place a new user.
My question is : is there any way to set a Default Organization in my User Form (or in the Create User Workflow) ?
I tried to do the following in my User Form :

*<s>Organization A</s>*
*<Default>*
*</Field>*
But, it did not work. IDM kept selecting another Organization as the Default, and all newly-created users were sent there.

[SOLVED] Alpine - Error sending: No default posting command

Hi, I have installed the Alpine mail client yesterday, and it all works nicely, except I can't send mail. Everytime I try I get this message:
Error sending: No default posting command
I have tried googling around, and from what I understand Alpine uses sendmail by default, but I haven't got it installed, nor I can find it in the repos. Is there any way I can change this? And what can I use to send mail?

I haven't dug it enough yet, and I'm not sure that this is possible, even though Alpine is very customisable as far as I can see.

Error in Executing Default Logic

Hi,
I included a formula in default logic which is a simple multiplication of two account dimension members:

Was able to successfully validate and save the logic. However, when I tried to send data, the system threw an error:
"- Error Message -
Error running default logic (Error checking work status)
- Rejected record List -
Error converting records: The root element is missing."
Have checked the work status and nothing seems to be amiss. Also, I tried removing the formula from the default logic and then sending the data - this worked.
So there must be some error with the default logic / work status. Could someone please help me out here?

Can you please indicate which BPC release you are using ?
I would suggest that you first make the following 2 corrections on your formula:
1. Add a "#" to the member on the left of the equal sign
2. Put square brackets around the dimension and member names
[P_ACCT].[#CE0004220] = [P_ACCT].[CE0004210]*[P_ACCT].[CE0004230]
After that, you also may need to setup your workstatus. There are two places where you can defined workstatus.
1. On the application set level, you define a list of the status (like unlocked, submitted, approved, locked, ...) and who is allowed to do what (like that only the manager is allowed to post journal for example)
2. On the application, you indicate which dimension are used to set that workstatus (usually the combination category / entity / time is used to set and track these workstatus)
In the Entity (or the dimension you have the OWNER property), you defined the owner of that entity (can also be a list of user or a team). Each owner of a parent is considered as a manager of that entity. If I for example own the entity France, the owner of the Entity Europe will be considered as my manager (as well as the owner of the Entity World). The settings Owner and Manager are used in the Work Status table on the application set, to define who can do which task and who is allowed to change the workstatus (promote it to the next status).

OIM error during creation of Organization

I am getting the following error while creating the organization using OIM administrative and User Console "*DOBJ_OBJECT.FAILED*".
When i checked the Websphere Application Server, the logs shows as below.

How can i check this error is due to which problem in OIM.

I have created a costing run for company code 6000 and defined a plant number range in the Selection Parameters However, I am getting errors related to a plant not in that plant range . Can you explain this?

What does the error say?
If you get this when you try to mark or release the Cost Estimate, you should be able to ignore the error. The system complaints that Marking has not been allowed for some plants etc. Nothing of significance.
Else, check the transfer control. Either way, maybe we can answer better if we know what the error is.

Several errors related to recovery of A305-s6837

Hey everyone, had to use the recovery disks for my mom's laptop and am encountering several errors post-recovery.
1. The first error? is that everytime Windows is loaded I get a box labeled System Preparation 3.14 toolbox, it hangs around for a few seconds and then disappears.
2. When windows loads, I get a auto-installer trying to load "Toshiba Desktop links". It does this everytime I load the software.
3. next, it will pop-up a box checking for network connection and warning box that requires wireless and lan lines to be disconnected. If you try to cancal the error, it will keep popping up until you turn it off and then back on.
When windows reloads, notepad opens up and I get what looks to be an error relating to "CheckFM" and/or "InstallFM".
4. Get an error message that Windows cannot find C:\b27238e.exe
5. Had to turn the user account's off because the administer account had a password that was different than the one I had on it pre-crash.
What had happened was that the computer was freezing up within 3-4 minutes of loading. It didn't matter what program you loaded, it would freeze. Anyway, any suggestions would be very helpful. Thanks...

Is this a replacement drive? If so, what is the make and specific model?
this is not a hardware issue.
If this is the trouble, I would certainly call it a hardware issue.
