Hi All,
Any idea to upload and download to excel in Oracle forms11g using webutil , excel interaction should be on Client system .
Uploading time excel should open in Client sysetm.
Downloading Time User will select the Excel file from Client system.
Please give any idea or suggestions will be appreaciated for this. Iam new to webutil.

asktom.oracle.com has an excellent article on writing a PL/SQL procedure that dumps data to an Excel spreadsheet-- search for 'Excel' and it'll come up.
You can also use your favorite connection protocol (ODBC, OLE DB, etc) to connect from Excel to Oracle and pull the data out that way.

I'm trying to getting the data from a multiple worksheet excel file by usin the MIME Repository.

By trying to transfer the code to a WebDynpro Component, i get problems.
With this part of code, because ActiveX is not allowed in our Webbrowser. So i have to find another solution to get the data from the excel file.

I tried to rebuild this solution in webdynpro. But it dont works.
So my next step was trying to Read the Excel sheet directly from MIME by getting the Content (XString).

Maybe someone has an idea how to rebuild [this code|http://abap-explorer.blogspot.com/2008/12/upload-data-from-multiple-worksheets-of.html] in Webdynpro that it works correctly.
Currently Im Using the Fileupload UI Element. All Works fine. I can Upload the Excel file to MIME Repository and i can open it from there.
But i cant get the same clear informationen from the file, to write it later in a Database, like before without webdynpro.
i hope someone can help me.

You can't read the native binary Excel Format in server side ABAP. The functions and classes that did this in Classic Dynpro used OLE Automation via the SAPGUI Control Framework to remotely control Excel to read the data. Because in the browser you have no connection to the SAPGUI or are sandboxed inside the browser; the same functionality is not possible.
I would suggest that you look into saving the Excel file as a open, text format. You might be able to use XML (although the Excel XML format can be complex) to support multiple sheets. You would have to build the logic yourself (using XSLT or the iXML parser) to process the XML format back into ABAP data.

Download and upload variants from PRD to DEV

Unfortunately, most of the variants are being created directly in production system, but not in development. We would like to stop this process further more.
In future, we would like to follow the process from DEV & transport to QAS and PRD.
To match the variants of PRD and DEV, I would like to download the variants from PRD to DEV.
How can I download the variants from one system and upload to the other system.

1. You can include the variants into a transport request in se38.
SE38--> Variants --> Utilities --> Transport request
2. When you create your program use can use TVARV table for variants, and parameters. You can maintain it with STVARV transaction also. So if you create your program using TVARV in your program, then you can include the changes of the variables into a transport request (there is an option to do it in transaction STVARV).
If you use tvarv table, then you have to take care of when you saving a variant:

I think there is no other standard way to transport the variants from one system to another.

I see two questions.
ORA 1542 - tablespace 'USER' is offline and cannot allocate space in it.how to resolve it About the error ORA-01542 you have to bring the Tablespace USERS online:

If you cannot bring it online you may have to Recover it first.
I have been trying export and import options in oracle but m not very clear about the procedure..About the Export in 10g and Import in 9i (9.2 or 9.0.1 ?), you have to export with the Export utility of the Target Database (the lowest Database version here: 9.0.1 or 9.2) then, you have to Import to the Target Database using its Import utility (in 9.0.1 or 9.2).

NB: You cannot use here the DATAPUMP.

save you file as CSV file in excel.
that means your file will be coma separated,
and then use fm
GUI_UPLOAD.
This will solve your problem.

How to create a table in MS ACCESS database and Upload SAP database table data into MS ACCESS table using ABAP programming?
Explain: My client requirement is " If he/she runs a ABAP Program, that will create a table and upload data into MS ACCESS Database table in background. "
Could you please give the solution or code? I know the program RIACCESS and I went through the SAP Note 583698.
Is this only solution for this? Or Any other possibilities?

It is not possible to create tables in a non SAP schema from inside SAP.
The SAP-Oracle license also does not allow you to create the table (see note 581312):
the following actions, among other things, are therefore forbidden at database level:
Creating database users
Creating database segments
Querying/changing/creating data in the database
Using ODBC or other SAP external access methods

If you are using Access 97, you can download directly into an access
database from SAP. See program RIACCESS for details. You have to establish
an RFC destination PS_ACCESS_1 and 2.
There are then a couple of function modules. Go to SE37 and put in
msaccess and hit PF4.

For the MS-Access interface SAP delivers 4 files:
WDPSASTR.EXE This is an RFC server program that is called by SAP R/3
(PS module). This program creates a MS Access database. The structure
information of the tables is transferred from R/3. In addition to

structure information and should in no case be modified or deleted.

Before using the program "RIACCESS", you need to install the PS utilities, which are part of SAPGUI install CD.

1. Select transaction code SALE -> Systems in network-> Define RFC Destination.
2. You will need two RFC destinations (TCP/IP connections for the front-end workstation).
Setup the two RFC destinations PS_ACCESS_1 and PS_ACCESS_2 and you'll have to get them to point to
wdpsastr.exe and wdpsatab.exe respectively.
3. Then execute RIACCESS and choose PS_ACCESS_1 to generate access tables.
The system must also be able to access the RFC-DLL files (librfc2.dll, librfc3.dll, librfc4.dll, librfc5.dll, librfc6.dll, vrfc.dll).
Please note that Access only supports tables with up to 255 fields.

Yes it is possible using SQL*LDR, External tables and ORCL Export Utility. Though I didn't try Export Utility to load the external files.
SQLLdr sysntax:
Create a control file.
It looks like this
Load data
Infile 'source.dat'
Into Table tablename
Fields terminated by ',' optionally enclosed by '"'
{code}
then use sqlldr command from your OS.

sqlldr userid/password@sid control = filename.ctl, data = source.dat, log = logname.log, bad = badname.log, discard = discardname.discard

i have TT(F1,F2,F3) table in Access Databsse
and emp(ename,ecode,sal) in oracle Database
db_ac is my datasource name
when i connect to Access Database thru this command this show following error
