How do we go solving this error in initialisation....what is the reason for this particular error...Thanks in advance..

Hi Annu,
Go to the process monitor and check the error message.
If the error is relating to source system, delete the error request and do the initialization again.

Hi,
This is on Oracle client 9.2 and the instance runs in windows 2000 server.
In client machine our sys admin has done something i do know,but we are not able to connect or database from sqlplus thru client side.
BUt i am not able to configure listener in client side.I think we dont need that.
client runs in xp
the message is
error 6 initialising sql plus
message<lang.msb> not found.
you may have to set oracle_home for the software

message<lang.msb> not found.Try one of these solutions :
1. Unset the parameter SQLPLUS in the registry.
2. Remove the trailing "\" at the end of the ORACLE_HOME value.
For example a value of "c:\oracle\ora92\" causes the problem
where as "c:\oracle\ora92" does not cause the problem.

Merge Replication Error When Initialising subscription

I have a SQL server 2005 server with a merge publication of 6 articles all of which are tables which is also the distributor. I have two existing subscriptions one from a SQL 2005
Server and one from a SQL Server 2008 R2 Server both of which are working fine on this publication. I am trying to setup a third subscription to another SQL Server 2008 R2 server, the only difference with this server is that it is a named instance. I have
forced the port to 1433, and created an alias on the publisher connectivity is not an issue or at least i don't think so.
when I try to initialise the subscription from a new snapshot I get the below error;
Error: 14151, Severity: 18, State: 1.
Replication-Replication Merge Subsystem: agent failed. No subscription is on this publication or article.
I've changed the agent profile and turned on verbose logging and output the results to a file the snapshot delivery is failing on the below for the first table;

I've checked the subscriber and the table does indeed get dropped and created, permissions / routes don't seem to be an issue. I've included some of the verbose logging output below.

The table gets dropped and recreated each time i try to reinitialise the subscription. I can't remove the article at the moment as two other servers subscribe to the publication.

As I'm getting the below mentioned error .

The above mentioned error , is displayed in the AUTHENTICATION->SAP->ROLE IMPORT.

                What does <b>Individual_Interface</b> refer to? If the reference missing it shows error in the code itself and build fails. If you are sure the usage is not missing then repair and rebuild the project. If still error persists, give more details like what are the components you are using, exactly where this error is occurring and what are you doing?

Ibdev error when initialise secondary GPIB address

I have ibdev error when I use secondary address(I need use it). I use MSVS6.0 and your example, it works with keithley, but not with my device. When I work with my device by LabVIEW and for addressing use "1+1"(for example) it works. But I am getting mistake when I try to initialise device in VStudio, without secondary address it does not understand my command.
Please help me.

The NI-488.2 API adds 96 to the secondary address to create it properly (since a SAD of 0 is different than no secondary address). Try using
ibdev 0 1 97 12 1 0
to open a device a primary address 1 and secondary address 1.

The Problem is resolved. The DB Adapter files has been corrupted and i reinstall the Weblogic Server and now i am able to invoke and all works fine.

Reg Error while Posting A/P Invoice

Dear All ,
Hope everyone is doing their best.
I have an issue regarding A/P Invoice with Withholding Tax Liable. When ever i am adding A/P Invoice with WT Liable yes then system will show message for withholding tax will be calculated . Open the whitholding tax table for editing ? if i say yes then i can choose the respective code. But while adding the document system will show the following error " there is a difference between the document total & its components'' and the withholding tax amount will disappear automatically from the header level.
FYI i am using SAP B1 2007 with patch level 9 and TDS version is 4.8.
do show some light on this issue.

Hi,
First of all dont make the TDS entry after adding the document.
Instead before adding,Rt. click in an empty area of the AP invoice,choose WT table.
Choose the Transaction type(ie.,I or P)
Enter the taxable amount,the WT amount will be calulated accordingly.
Now add the document.
I hope this will solve your issue !
NB:I recommend you to upgrade TDS Ver 4.9 as rounding option is also incorporated in this version

Hello all,
When i try to connect to a database as SYS user i'm getting the error as
ora-01017 invalid username/password logon denied
But it is logging from the local system where the oracle is installed.
I created the password file and checked the contents in v$pwfile_users.
The result is " no rows selected".
so when i try to grant sysdba to sys user
grant sysdba to sys;
i'm getting error as,
ORA-01994: GRANT failed: password file missing or disabled
Please help me in resolving this.

Hello All,
I developed a Model in the VC.
The compilation of the model was successful.
But when I tried to deploy the model I'm getting an Error message saying :
"Error in executing a process for Flex compilation, Not enough space" .
Can anyone tell me what to do to resolve this problem ?

We also encountered this problem here at our customer´s system .
We told the basis administrators to increase the disk space which did not solve our problem, though.
After successfully compiling the vc model
Deploying with FLEX2 results in an error as follows:
"Process is not executed!"
while deploying with flex1 resulits in the error
"Error in executing a process for Flex compilation, Not enough space"
Since everything has been working smoothly for the last months until now,
we wonder how this error has suddenly occured.
Does anyone have an idea how to trace the error or has anyone encountered this error, too?

Hello experts,
I am trying to schedule a background job through SCOT so as to send the mails present in SOST.
The job is running but it is giving error as "Invalid status for recipient" in SOST.
But when I am sending it directly from SOST it is delivered without any errors. The email address is maintained correctly and SMTP settings are also correct as while sending it directly from SOST it reaches the required recipient without any error.
This error is observed only through background job. I am using program RSCONN01 with variant SAP&CONNECTINT in background job.
Kindly suggest why I am getting the error "Invalid status for recipient" in background job.

We developed a custom program which creates Operative Projects along with WBS, activities, milestones etc using a standard template ie. copying from standard project template. When i run this custom program online, it generates operative project
successfully. But when we run this program background , the job gets cancelled giving the following error.

Since you are running your program in background, I assume you have ensured that you are not reading from or writing to any file on the presentation server.
Presentation server is not accessible when you run your program in background.

Hi,
It depends whether you are using JDI or not.
1) If you use JDI, you only have to create an External Library DC and add the jxl.jar per Drap&Drop in Navigation panel to the DC. Add the file also to the public part. In the Web Dynpro DC add the External Library DC as used DC and deploy both DCs on the server.
The only error you can make is to deploy the components using "Deploy new archive and run..." -> this command won't deploy the jar and you have the same result as now. You have do build & deploy it step-by-step (Development Component -> Build..., Development Component -> Deploy).
2) If you are not using JDI and you are using local DC's then you have to do like this
Take one Library project and add jxl.jar to it, build and deploy.
Add this as library reference to your WebDynpro project.
To do it,
RightClick on your project> properties> WebDynproReferences> choose LibraryReferences tab> Click on Add> Now give the name of Library project here> Ok
Build the DC and deploy...
