  • Deviation country in billing intercompany flow

    Hi Gurus,
During Billing for intercompany flow, I got the following error message "Deviating country where taxes are levied in Document ".
Supplying Company Code: SCA (with Country code GB)
Supplying Plant: SPA (with Country code US)
Receiving Company Code: RCB (with Country code NL)
Receiving Plant: RPB (with Country code NL)
When I created the intercompany billing, SAP gets Country code GB (instead of US). This is very confusing because the deliverying plant is in US and not in GB. Is it normal?
It seems that SAP get the Country code from the Supplying Company code instead of the Supplying Plant.
How can we solve this issue?
Intercompany can not be correctly created (with correct costs, tax and so accounting documents).
Thanks a lot for your help.
    Stéphane.

    Hi,
I understand now why I got the issue on Deviation country.
Supplying Company Code: SCA (with Country code GB)
Supplying Plant: SPA (with Country code GB)
There is specific code in User-Exit userexit_pricing_prepare_tkomk called during billing document creation.
This one change the country of the delivery plant with FR which get from shipping point.
Just after SAP detects that the initial country is different than the final country for the Supplying Plant.
This situation is quite tricky because the Stock of Supplying plant is physically in the Receiving Compagny code (in FR) but the owner of this Stock is the Company code of the Supplying plant (in GB). The Stock is linked to the Supplying plant.
It means that I try to create the invoice from the Supplying plant with country code in GB and a shipping point in FR.
So why I got the message.
For now, I didn't find the way to solve this situation.
    Propositions:
1 - Create a virtual Shipping point in GB but it is not a SAP Best practise
2 - Change Country key in Supplying Structure organization. Impossible, too complex and too huge impacts
3 - Try to overwrite the initial value xvbrk-landtx with the value we change in the user-exit
    For your information:
See below lines of code for deeply analyzis
    In program LV60AA58:
    Perform userexit_pricing_prepare_tkomk.
Überprüfen, ob das Steuerland für die Preisfindung und im
    Fakturakopf übereinstimmen
if xvbrk-landtx ne space and xvbrk-landtx ne tkomk-aland.
        message s135 with xvbrp-vgbel xvbrp-vgpos.
      endif.
    In the User-exit userexit_pricing_prepare_tkomk:
select single aland from tvst into tkomk-aland
    where vstel = tkomk-vstel.
    Many thanks.

  • Intercompany flow

    Hello Gurus,
I have a problem with godds receipt posting in intercompany flow.
    The steps we do are:
    - Purchase order creation
    - Delivery creation
    - Transportation document creation (VT01N)
    - Good issue posting (VT02N)
    - Good receipt posting (MIGO)
If MIGO is posted via delivery (goods receipt - outbound delivery) there are no problems.
If MIGO is posted via transport the system gives the following message "Shipment & is not an inbound shipment
    Message no. VW569".
The transport document has the following customizing:
    - Shpmnt complete type = Loaded outbound shipment
    - GR relevance = Normal
I've tryed with GR relevance = Shipment relevat to GR but i've received the same message!
I've also tryed using a transport with "Shipment complete type = Loaded inbound shipment" but we can't link delivery for this shipment type.
    Can you help me?
    Thanks

    Hi,
For MIGO GR R06(transport) scenario SAP is expecting inbound shipment to be created.
So firstly you would need to create inbound deliveries (this can be automated from outbound deliveries) and for those create inbound shipment. Only then you can do GR for 'transport' reference document type.
For details you can check FM 'SD_SHINOTIF_FOR_SHIPMENT' which raises this error.
And this FM is called from within include LMIGOKT2 where s_transport-sign = 'I' (Inbound) is hardcoded.

  • Reg: Third Party Flow Setup

    Hi Guru,
i need Customizing and flow of Transaction for the Third Party setup Document. please provide the valid information on this.
    Thanks
    BR
    Siva

    THIRD PARTY SCENARIO
In third-party order processing, your company does not deliver the items requested by a customer. Instead, you pass the order along to a third-party vendor who then ships the goods directly to the customer and bills you. A sales order may consist partly or wholly of third-party items. Occasionally, you may need to let a vendor deliver items you would normally deliver yourself.
    Process Flow
The processing of third-party orders is controlled via material types. Material types define whether a material is produced only internally, can be ordered only from third-party vendors, or whether both are possible. For example, a material that is defined as a trading good can only be ordered from a third-party vendor. However, if you manufacture your own finished products, you may also want, from time to time, to be able to order the same type of product from other vendors.
    Processing Third-Party Orders in Sales
Third-party items can be created automatically by the system, depending on how your system is set. However, you can also change a standard item to a third-party item during sales processing manually.
    Automatic third-party order processing
If a material is always delivered from one or more third-party vendors, you can specify in the material master that the material is a third-party item. During subsequent sales order processing, the system automatically determines the appropriate item category for a third-party item: TAS. To specify a material as a third-party item, enter BANS in the Item category group field in the Sales 2 screen of the material master record.
    Manual third-party order processing
In the case of a material that you normally deliver yourself but occasionally need to order from a third-party vendor, you can overwrite the item category during sales order processing. For a material that you normally deliver yourself, you specify the item category group NORM in the material master.
If, as an exception, you use a third-party material, change the entry TAN to TAS in the ItCa field when processing the sales document. The item is then processed as third-party item.
If address data for the ship-to party is changed in the sales order in third-party business transactions, the changed data will automatically be passed on to purchase requisition and also to the purchase order ,if one already exists. In the purchase order, you can display the address data for the ship-to party in the attributes for the item.
You can only change the address data for the ship-to party in the sales order for third-party business transactions, and not in the purchase order.
    Processing Third-Party Orders in Purchasing
When you save a sales order that contains one or more third-party items, the system automatically creates a purchase requisition in Purchasing. Each third-party item in a sales order automatically generates a corresponding purchase requisition item. During creation of the requisition, the system automatically determines a vendor for each requisition item. If a sales order item has more than one schedule line, the system creates a purchase requisition item for each schedule line.
Purchase orders are created from purchase requisitions in the usual way. For more information about creating purchase orders, see the Purchasing documentation. During creation of the purchase order, the system automatically copies the delivery address of your customer from the corresponding sales order. In a sales order, you can enter purchase order texts for each third-party item. When you create the corresponding purchase order, the texts are automatically copied into the purchase order. The number of the purchase order appears in the document flow information of the sales order.
All changes made in the purchase order are automatically made in the sales order as well. For example, if the vendor confirms quantities and delivery dates different from those you request and enters them in the purchase order, the revised data is automatically copied into the sales order
You process third-party items by creating a normal sales order. In overview for the order, you can then overwrite the default item category (TAN in the standard system) with the special item category for third-party items: TAS
    Billing Third-Party Orders
If relevance for billing indicator for the item category has been set to B (relevant for order-related billing on the basis of the order quantity) in Customizing, the system includes the order in the billing due list immediately. If, however, the indicator has been set to F (relevant to order-related billing on the basis of the invoice quantity), the system does not include the order in the billing due list until an invoice from the vendor has been received and processed by the purchasing department. In the standard system, item category TAS (third-party order processing) has been given billing-relevance indicator F.
In the first case, the third-party order is considered to be completely billed only when the invoiced quantity equals the order quantity of the sales order item. In the second case, each time a vendor invoice is received, a customer invoice is created for the quantity in the vendor invoice and the order is considered to be fully invoiced until the next vendor invoice is received.
If you have activated billing-relevance indicator F for item categories in Customizing, billing can refer to the goods receipt quantity instead of the incoming invoice quantity.
You can control whether the invoice receipt quantity or the quantity of goods received is relevant for billing in Customizing for copying control for billing at item level.
FOR YOUR PROCESS Individual Purchase Orders WELL GIVE THE RIGHT SOLUTION
Individual purchase orders are used when your customer orders goods from you that are not in stock and must be ordered from one or more external vendors.
    Process Flow
During sales order entry, the system automatically creates a purchase requisition item. The purchasing department creates a purchase order based on the requisition and the vendor ships the goods directly to you (unlike third party order processing, where the vendor ships directly to your customer). You then ship the goods to your customer. While the goods are part of your inventory, you manage them as part of the sales order stock. Sales order stock consists of stock that is assigned to specific sales orders and cannot be used for other purposes.
Goods receipt will be posted when ever the vendor ships the goods to our customer.
We will do this transaction in SAP using MIGO.
Invoice receipt is done when the Vendor sends us the invoice.. ( I.e Billing ).
It can be done using MIRO.
THe above two steps are standard and manual. There are many other ways that the actual process can happen. If the client follows EDI standards then the Goods receipt and Invoice receipt can be done through IDOCs automatically.
Process Flow for 3rd Party Sales
Customize the third party sales in summary:
    Prerequisites for 3rd party sales,
    Purchasing org,
    purchasing group,
assign the Purchase org to company code
    assign Purchase org to plant,
should not maintain the stock in material, it should be trading goods,
    1. Create Vendor XK01
    2. Create Material – Material Type as "Trading Goods". Item category group as "BANS".
    3. Assign Item Category TAS to Order type that you are going to use.
    4. A sale order is created and when saved a PR is generated at the background
    5. With reference to SO a PO is created (ME21N). The company raises PO to the vendor.
    6. Vendor delivers the goods and raises bill to company. MM receives the invoice MIRO
    7. Goods receipt MIGO
    8. Goods issue
    9. The item cat TAS or Schedule line cat CS is not relevant for delivery which is evident from the config and, therefore, there is no delivery process attached in the whole process of Third party sales.

Third party order processing is as follows:
    Assume three companies X, Y and Z
    X - The company,
    y - The customer
    Z - Vendor
When ever X gets a PO from Y to supply some goods, X has an option of either manufacturing those goods or procuring those goods.
If he is procuring the goods, there are two methods that are generally followed:
Method 1) After receiving the PO from Y, X creates a sales order against Y.
Now at the same time he also creates a PO to a vendor Z to produce the goods
Z produces the goods and supplies to X
X receives the goods from Z
Then X delivers the same goods to Y.
    After that X invoices Y and Z invoices X.
Note : Here there is no direct/ Indirect relation between Z and Y.
This process is known as Trading Process. and the Material here is created with Material type HAWA.
The other method is a Third party order processing method:
Here the glaring difference is that instead of Z supplying the material to X and X in turn supplying the same material to Y.
X authorizes Z to supply the material to Y on his behalf and notify him once the delivery is complete.
Now Z supplies the material to Y and acknowledges the same to X.
Z will send a copy of delivery acknowledgement and invoice to X.
After receiving the delivery confirmation and invoice from Z, X has to verify the invoice and this process is known as invoice verification and is done in SAP through Tcode MIRO.
The next step for X is to create an invoice and submit to Y
Only after the invoice verification document is posted then only X can create an invoice for Y.
This is the business flow that is followed for third party order configuration.
There are few steps that have to be configured to enable the system to function as mentioned above.
    Step1)
If you are always following a third party process for a material then you have to create the material using item category group BANS.
The procurement type should be marked as External procurement (F) in MRP 2 view of the material master record.
if you are not always allowing third party order processing then u can create a material master record with item category group as NORM and the procurement type should be marked as ( X) meaning both types of procurement ( in house manufacturing and external procurement).
    Step 2)
the item category in the order should be manually changed as TAS.
For that you need to configure the item category determination
Order type + item cat Group + Usage + High level = Item cat + Manual item cat
    OR + NORM + + = TAN + TAS
    OR + BANS + + = TAS
    Step 3)
make sure that during the item category configuration for TAS you need to mark relevant for billing indicator as F
    step 4)
The schedule line category for this type should be CS.
make sure that you mark subsequent type as NB - purchase requisition in this schedule line category as this will trigger the purchase requisition order immediately after the creation of the sales order and the PO to vendor is created against this purchase requisition.

  • Intercompany flow : what impact in controlling?

    Hi all,
we are using SAP 4.7 Enterprice our company has some subsidiaries abroad and we need to implement intercompany . With a plant in turkey we are sharing same client, materials customers and vendors so we can integrate the two plants .
We don't have the same chart of accounts nor the controlling area so I would like to know what is the impact in controlling if we adopt the intercompany process and what we nee to customize in CO and FI to handle such this process in sap?
    Thanks in advance
    Vir Brown

    Dear:
If you are using Treasury module with cash management in it then this field has great importance.
You will select this field for cash and bank accounts, related receivables and payable of banks because all movements in these accounts have cash flow relevance. If you don't select this field for the bank account which you use for making down payment, withholding tax will be ignored.

  • Oracle ADF task flow setup failing- deployment issue

    Hi Experts,
We are facing issue while deploying the ADF taskflow to Oracle webcenter portal/application server.
We will need your help to get any pointers from your Oracle network to help resolve.
Details of issue are as below.
    Please help ASAP.
Problem Statement: Issue in the ADF taskflow while it is deployed on Oracle Webcenter Portal/Application server (the ADF taskflow is fetching data from PL/SQL procedure using table/record objects as OUT parameter, which is running fine in Jdeveloper).
    Problem Description:
From ADF task flow we are invoking a PL/SQL procedure, which is returning a PL/SQL objects as an OUT parameter, some of these objects are of TABLE TYPE and one of RECORD TYPE. We are invoking this oracle procedure and fetching the object using jdbc. The object to which we are mapping this PL/SQL object is a custom java type object. We are using Jdeveloper 11.1.1.4 and Oracle ADF for this and we are able to successfully fetch the object using the code snippet #1 attached below.
However, when we deploying the same code, i.e. the above ADF task flow in the Webcenter Portal server 11.1.1.4, inside the Webcenter portal application, it doesn’t work and give the below error, error snippet #2 below.
Options tried: Initially we were using oracle.sql.STRUCT to handle the PL/SQL object, we tried changing this to weblogic.jdbc.wrapper.Struct and also java.sql.Struct, however we are still getting same error.
The objective is to get the data from PL/SQL procedure in objects (record, table) as OUT parameters in ADF taskflow deployed on Oracle webcenter portal/application server.

Maybe this can help you: http://mike.hostetlerhome.com/2007/02/12/weblogic-oracle-and-blobs-oh-my/
It shows how to obtain a vendor object from the weblogic wrapped instance.
    From the blog
    weblogic.jdbc.wrapper.Blob cast1 = (weblogic.jdbc.wrapper.Blob) o;
    BLOB myblob = (BLOB) cast1.getVendorObj();

  • Reg - Work Flow Program ( ABAP )

    Hi,
Pls advise Where i get the Program ( ABAP Code ) in the Work Flow.
Example : I need to add one more plant in the WorkFlow ..
    Thanks
    Roy..

    Hi Roy,
You can Program Your workflow in Two ways
make use of an object(Bor-Business object repositry)
or make use of  a class.
write your coding in a method in Object and call that object in a workflow task.
do necessary bindings to ensure that your data is communicated between task and workflow.
    Thanks & Regards

  • Reg:Document Flow Correction

    hi all,
i have a problem in document flow completion , status is showing being processed.
The case is that we have created sales order, for that all delivery and invoicing has been done, but for that we have again created return order -ret del-and invoice.
so again created credit memo request and credit memo.
but in doc flow infront of return order it is showing Being processed.
the probable reason may be against the return order we have created no billing , instead we have done again credit memo request for which credit memo is prepared, so the return order is showing being processed.
so now i want to know how can we change the status of return order as completed
i had look in VBFA, VBUK, VBUP.
pl give u r valuable advice to complete these status by any way.

    hi thanks for your reply,
but these r old sales orders in the system from around 4 years back, at that time they were following this system i know this is wrong to prepare credit memo req.
but still these orders are showing open in system .
so we want to close that.
so pl suggest solution to close these sales ord status to complete.

  • Consignment fill up Intercompany flow

    I have two organizations
    a. Sales org -S1, Plant - P1 , Company code - C1.
    b. Sales org -S2, Plant - P2 , Company code - C2
    Requirement
    1. Consignment fill up is created in S1 but physical stock is to be delivered from plant P2 to customer location.
    2. Inventory should reflect in P1 customer consignment location..
    3. Inter company billing between S2 to S1.
Issue is - the delivery created out of P2 is not relevant for billing ( delivery for consignment fill up is not relevant for billing ).
What is the easiest and best way to accomplish my requirement.
    Thanks
    Venu.

    Hi Venu,
Have you tried to maintain intercompany billing type in your consignment order type?
Wat are the config you have done to achieve your requirement?

  • Reg: Process Flow of WMS

    Dear All
I'm a MM consultant. I would like to know about the Process flow,Master data & Organization structure of WMS.
    pl help me
    Thanks
    pavan

    Hi Pavan,
Generally in WMS we have 3 processes
    1. Inbound Process
    2. Outbound Process
    3. Return Process
    4. Internal Warehouse Movements.
    Inbound Process Flow -
PO > Goods Receipt>Inbound Delivery -->Packing --> Transfer Order --> Putaway --> transfer Order confirmation --> Post Goods Receipt
    Outbound Process Flow -
Sales Order --> Outbound Delivery --> Transfer Order --> Picking --> Packing(Optional) --> Transfer Order Confirmation --> Post Goods Issue
Return Process is similar to Inbound Process
    Internal Warehosue Movements include
    1. Bin to Bin Stock Movement
    2. Storage type to Storage Type Movement
    3.Stock Category Changes
    4.Cycle Counting etc.,

  • UCCE 7.2 Missing Skill Groups in Supervisor Work Flow Setup

Hi, one of our customers reported that when they try to configure a Work Flow for their supervisors in Supervisor Desktop, there are Skill Groups missing from the Available Skill Group List.
I've tried to figure out what might cause this, and the only thing I've found that is different between the visible Skill Groups and the missing ones is that in Desktop Administrator => Personnel Configuration => Teams  I can see that the missing Skill Groups don't have any Skills listed in Selected Skills under the Skills tab.
I've tried to find out where in ICM I can add the Skills, as the documentation says it's configured there, but I haven't had any luck so far.
Anyone have any helpful tips please?

    Hi
From the problem description I understand that you are seeing "available Skill groups"  empty  while trying to add a new work flow through CSD.
This is a known defect with 5.x version which has not been fixed yet
    http://tools.cisco.com/Support/BugToolKit/search/getBugDetails.do?method=fetchBugDetails&bugId=CSCth04959
In 7.x this issue is not seen
    Hope this helps
    Regards
