Regarding address to print in smartform

Hi,
i have requirement, when im printing a smartform of purchase order,its displaying 'delivery to(plant address)'
is printing but my requirement is when i select check box of subcontractor at item level it should display that subcontractor address and when i dint select that check box it should same default address(plant address)

Place your condition in your address node,
Example
if checkbox <sub-contract> EQ 'X'.
Display sub-contract address.
if checkbox <sub-contract> NE 'X'.
Display plant address
Note: make sure you pass this check box information to smartform.

Hi Atul,
Maintain the Address first in LG --> Tax on Goods Movement --> India --> Basic Setting --> Maintain Postak Addresses.
Then assign this Address in the last column of Series Group in LG --> Tax on Goods Movement --> India --> Basic Setting -->Maintain Series Grp.

Regarding Page number printing in smartform

Hi All,
I have a requirement wher i should print multiple PO in smartform. It is done..a small issue regarding printing of page numbers. Lets say i am printing three PO
first PO has 20 items
second has 2 items
third has 1 item.
Now the forst Po can have multiple pages it should print as
Page 1
page 2
page 3.
Now after the end of first PO second PO is printed on new page and numbered as Page 1..and so on.
So how can i do this.....

Hi,
Create a paragraph format with dynamic page numbers.
Smartstyles>numbering and outline->select numbering type from list dropdown.
use this paragraph format for displaying the page number with any code.
and before processing your logic create a COMMAND in your smartform and in the reset paragraph numbering give your paragraph name so that it refreshes page numbers every new PO's. (you have place this according to your code).

Issue with character formats using duplex printing in smartform

Hi all,
I am getting a problem with character formats using duplex printing in smartform. I am using a text module with a bold character to display text in a window. The problem is that on the first back page,the text is being printed normally (without bold), but on the next pages, the back pages are being printed with the bold character format.
Can anyone know where is the problem..please.

Normally this should not happen.. and also there is no internal formatting done by SAP.. it will show based on what fomatting option we have specified..
If you are saying it is happening in ur case then
     1. Recheck whether whether you have same text module getting printed on the
         two page. If they are different then then individual check formatting option for
         each..
      2. If above point does'nt work for you ..then instead of bold char use normal
          format for text element and see if it is printing same on both page..
Try this out and let us know your findings...

Look everyone that comes here with a support problems has gone through all the normal channels, around and round in circles with no one seeming to be interested. They've called every phone number, every email address they can find. They have been put on hold and bounced fifty times to another operator only to be hung up on. If Adobe would bring back support to main land and have people that know what's going on instead of having people that people can barely understand read from scripts. Scripted information only applies about 10 % of the time. I'm just giving people an alternative. after they have torn their hair out going the normal route. If they had been able to get a solution they wouldn't be coming here for help.
There should be a forum set up just for people to air these issues and Adobe employees forced to man it. Then we wouldn't have to have such a Bad attitude. Right now Adobe's Support reputation is worse than Intuit's which did have the absolutely worse on the Planet. Now they are number 2.
You know it yourself that Adobe's support is absolutely worse than terible. However to prevent me from being banned from the forums I will simply will provide the adobecare email address from now on
So let's sweep it under the rug.

Number of different copies to be printed in smartform

Hello,
I have developed a smartform with 3 different pages, now when i give a print command , the first page should print 2 number of copies , second page should print 3 number of copies and the third page should print 4 number of copies.
Is it possible in smartform, if so how?

hi,
for printing different copies u have to use loop in main window and check for the condition for number of page.
and den after printing all the values in mainwindow put command node and mention page no say page1 in urcase there put condition fr watever amount of repeated copies u want ex 2 in ur case.
then once 2 times page 1 has been printed put a commad for goto page 2 and loop accordingly for the no of time u want
then for the third page.

i need the print the user address in print layout.the address store in OUDG. but i call this field in pld. But its not print anything..please any one give the suggestion
We have the three branches.but using one pld. So the user default address show in pld in automatically changes as per user enter.

So you have three branches using only one PLD? If the address is not showing. please try to create a three PLD's for the three company branches, every time the user print a PLD they must choose a PLD assign from them.

Regarding Smart Form Printing, Print Preview issues

I have couple of issues regarding Smart Form Printing, Print Preview.
In my program i am passing below parameters to smart form function module:
t_control-device = c_printer.
t_control-no_dialog = space.
t_control-preview = space.
t_control-no_dialog = c_x.
t_output-tddest = g_spld.
t_output-tdimmed = c_x. " Print Immediately
t_output-tddelete = space. " Don't Release spool after output
g_user_settings = c_x.
Issue#1: Though i have set preview paramter to space, after executing program it is prompting for Preview Screen, There again i have to give printer name though i am passing printer name as above and i need to hit on print preview button to set Layout output.
Here how can i go directly to layout output without preview screen.
Issue#2: In some cases we need to Print the layout set output after executing program immediately without prompting for preview screen and then Layout set output should also be shown after printing the output.
How can i solve these issues!

Hi,
In the SAP menu screen goto <b>System->User Profile->Own data</b>
There in the defaults tab, for the output device give the value you had maintained for <b>g_spld.</b> This will not prompt you a dialog screen, and if you want to print immediately select the checkbox as well. Then try to execute the smartform. Hope this solves ur issue.

Ukrainian text on preview is fine but gives junk char on print in smartform

HI All,
I am trying to print hardcoded ukrainian text in smartform. In preview it is coming correctly but while printing it gives some junk charecters.
During my analysis i found out that previously existing hardcoded text is coming fine on printing but it is showing different charecters(than the one on the printing) in smartform node and in print preview.

Do you use a device type that supports Cyrillic characters to create the spool and print? e.g. Device type SAPWIN, SAPWIN5 or Unicode device type SWINCF?
If you use a non-Unicode device type like SAPWIN or SAPWIN5, then the font used for these characters in the smartform should be a Cyrillioc font like COURCYR, HELVCYR or TIMECYR.

Error in Print Preview smartforms

Hi All,
I have done a program for PO Print.(smartforms)
I am getting an error while printpreview stating that
"Table row is larger than 176 cm"
This error is only coming for some selected PO's

U can try and use smartform_trace transaction to trace ur smartform alos to search for particular code use like this->
Goto-> environment-> see fm name
suppose it is like
/1BCDWB/SF00000036
Now
edit like this
/1BCDWB/LSF00000036F01
open this in se38
now search with ur line item node name.
also put a break point here ans when it stops for debugging set a watch point to stop at particular line item which u want out of 50 item u have.

ALV output to be printed in smartform

Dear Experts,
There is a report which uses ALV using webdynpro ABAP. Say the report has 5 columns A, B, C, D, and E.
There is also a custom button on ALV 'Print' which calls the smartform to display the output of the ALV( All columns ).
Now the requirement is, user may hide any of the columns in ALV, say, user chosen to hide B, and D columns. So ALV displays A, C, and E columns respectively.
When the user presses the 'Print' button smartform should display only the columns selected by the end user on the webdynpro screen. In this case it is A, C and E columns.
Now is there any way to cpature the list of columns selected by the user or hidden by the user before we process the smartform.
If there is any please let me know.

Check the code.After executing the code it will ask you for the printer enter your printer name.

Thank you for the update.
If I knew how design engineers thought then I probably would have become one.
You should be able to see who sent the email to the printer by logging into your HP ePrintCenter account or your HP Connected account (HP Connected has only been rolled out to the USA, the UK, France, and Germany). Each account has a job/print history available. If you are unsure who sent the job to the printer, you can always log into your account and check the email address the print job was sent from. I’ve included a screen shot from each account and I've highlighted where you would find the email address that sent the print job.
