Regarding Planned Order Changes

Hi gurus,
I have a question, it's kind of urgent.
The scenario is: If i have a demand and ran MRP, it creates planned orders, so as dep.req will be created for components, which are converted to Preq and PO's. At this point if i make changes to my demand i.e. reduce or increase the previodu demand and run MRP again, what happens to the PO's already got created?
Is there any way to tackle this scenario? i mean, user exits etc.. or any other solutions..
Thank you and waiting for your valuable responses,,
Sekhar

Sekhar,
What Abhi says is right.
But if you want an automatic solution then you need to write a program which can be executed after MRP run. You need to read the stock requirements list after the MRp run and get the excess quantity. Then check if any PRs or POs exit. If exist then include a BDC in the program to chencge the qty so that excess is made 0.
The function module which gives the STock requirements list into an internal table is <b>AUFBAUEN_MDPSX_ANZEIGEN</b>. From this table you could read the indivial line items that make the receipts and issues.

  • BAPI for AFS  Planned Order Change

    Dear All,
Can anybody help me out to find the BAPI for PLANNED ORDER
CHANGE in AFS. i m aware that there is a BAPI_PLANNEDORDER_CHANGE for standard SAP, but im not sure of using for the AFS , since the grid value is not handled in this BAPI.Pls give your suggestion too.
    Reward points are assured.

    Hi Raja ,
Sorry for replying too late ..... But I guess it may be useful for other guys..
Recently I also came accross same problem . But finally I got the solution.
BAPI  'BAPI_PLANNEDORDER_CHANGE'  does support AFS Data .. like Grid Value and Grid Quanity.
Just pass AFS Header Data to Import Parameter AFS_HEADER  & AFS Grid Value along with changed quantity
to AFS_SKU table.  You will get this data from PLAF and J_3ABSSI Table.
( Note : You also need to pass Planned Order Data & Quantity which will be total of all quantities at SKU level. )

  • Planned order changes

    Dear All,
which t code i can use to see the changes done in a planned order?
    Please ex[plain.

We were asking about this topic before. Actually when planned order is converted to the order production, the planned order is deleted. One option is activating log for tables PLAF (Planned Order Header) RESB (Planned Order Detail) in SE13 tx and set rec/client parameter to "ALL" or the "client number" in system profile (As to BASIS people) where you want activate logs and re-start the system to obtain the history in these tables.
The transaction where you can see the logs about changes (Planned Order Header and Details Changes) is AUT10.
Check with Basis people if there aren't problems with the system performance to activate the logs in this tables, the reason is because the RESB table has a lot of changes with the normal operations in the system in planning.

  • Regarding Production order changes work flows

    Hi to all,
I activated WS20000387 work flow template. its regarding the production order changes .
briefly: i created one production order, immediately assigned person will get a message in his SAP inbox.
he has to double click/execute on that mail, then system will take u directly to the production order screen. there is no need to enter that Order no.
but here, after double clicking, system is asking The Order no.
we have clients 300,500 and 700.
i executed same work flow in 300 successfully,
700 is not modifiable. thats y i did all the settings in 500 and copied the request to 700.
i am getting  the problem in 700,, i compared all the settings in 300 and 700, but no use,,,all are same,,,but not executing in 700.
anybody can help me in this regard.

You Can use below FM to confirm Production order and it is very simple BAPI.
BAPI_PRODORDCONF_CREATE_HDR -> just check in where used list.
    Thanks

  • Using Planned order Change BAPI with out changing date

    Hi
I have a planned order with start date in future.
With in a program, I want to call the planned order using the FM BAPI_PLANNEDORDER_CHANGE to re-explode the order BOM.
I find that only if I change the order start date to system/current date, the planned order BOM gets updated/re-exploded. Else there is no change in the order BOM.
My requirement is to re-explode the BOM with out changing the order dates. In the function module I am maintaining "X' against BOM_EXP_FIX_IND.
But when I do it manually using MD12 and explode BOM with out changing the future start date, the order BOM gets updated.
Please help on this. Or is there any other FM/BAPI for this purpose.

    Dear Pradeep,
you could try to set DET_SCHEDULE = X with out
    FIRMING_IND  --> No
    BOM_EXP_FIX_IND   --> No
Let me Know if it modification setting have solved your problem and i have useful for you,

  • Urgent: regarding planned order status

    hi,
i want to have tcode in which it should display planned order status in which details about whether it is converted to purchase requsition or production order etc..
plzz help me out in finding dis tcode as it most urgent to me.
if find useful he or she will be definately rewarded.

    Dear Ric.S,
If your procurement type for the material is X - Both Procurement typesin MRP2
view, then after MRP run Planned orders are obtained, only these planned orders
you can convert either to Production order or else Purchase Req.
So check in MD04 or MD16 for all the planned orders.
CO40 - Individual conversion of Planned order into Prod.Order.
CO41 - Collective conversion of Planned order into Prod.Order.
MD14 - Individual conversion of Planned order into Purchase Req.
MD15 - collective conversion of Planned order into Purchase Req.

  • Regarding Planned order

    Dear Team,
    M-T-S scenario and Strategy 10.
I am creating multiple planned independent requirement for A material per day in MD61. I am using Demand version for each quantity means for 5 qty 5 versions. In MD04 system showing 5 independent requirement.
when i run MRP, system creating single planned order for 5 qty. where i want different planned orders for individual demand version qty. plz suggest.
I can not use fixed lot size as demand version has different qty.
    Deepak

    Ramagiri,
For maintaining the demand based on PV it required production version also to be created and assigned in material master.
That is my step (a), precisely.
I dont think different production version with same BOM and Routing system will consider it as valid production version. When MRP is run by default it will pick the first version and create only one planned order.
I think system does not restrict you for creation of multiple production versions with the same BOM and task list.
If you create the PIR schedules mentioning the PV's, why MRP should not generate planned orders based on that specifications?
That PV name on the planned order will be the indicator of the demand version in this approach.
Please revert back if I am unable to elaborate it.
    Best Regards,
    Rajen

  • Regarding Planned Orders

    Hi All,
    1) If i create a Production order by converting a Planned Order,we will see the details of Planned order in the Production Order.
Now when i want to view again the Planned order details,if i enter Planned Order number in table-PLAF, i am not able to view any details and getting message no data available. May i know the reason?. Does it mean once a planned order is converted to Production order, its data in PLAF is deleted ?.
    2) I have a Production Order with Quantity of 200 EA,and only one Planned Order number is mentioned in the Assignment Tab of Production Order.
Does it mean that the Planned Order mentioned here is of 200 EA or does this production order is created with 2 to 3 planned orders whose total quantity is equal to 200 EA. I want to know this, because i cannot see the Planned Order details no more.
    Thanks in advance.

Yes, once the plan order is converted into production order, then plan order is offset ( dleted in PLAF, you can't see the plan order any more in PLAF

In std, you can create a production order with reference to one plan order only, you can't assign multiple plan order into single production order,
But you can convert single plan order into Multiple production order

  • Billing Plan: order changes possible after FAZ has been created?

    Hi together,
I've got a question regarding the billing plan functionality. Is it possible to change the order in case the FAZ is already created? Everytime when I try this the system increases the down payment value and a new FAZ will be created. Even when I enter a free of charge material the system creates a new FAZ with value 0... That#s strange, isnt'it?
    Thanks for your help, Christian

  • Planned order BOM change - PO already created. How to keep the 2 in sync?

    Hi Everyone,
I have a question regarding planned order BOM changes AFTER a vendor PO was already created and sent.
How can we restrict the re-explosion of a planned order (from re-ATP of item in VA02) if the PO has already been created?
This causes problems for us when we backflush the PO components as there is a mismatch between the updated planned order BOM and the PO component list...
    Any thoughts/ideas?
    Thanks!
    Tony

You can freely arrange the order of the photos in the contact sheet by dragging and rearranging the thumbnails of the photos on the sheet, if you set the sorting to "Manually" in the "View" menu, while viewing the Contact sheet:

  • Logs or change history of planned orders

    Hi,
Would like to ask if you know a transaction code that will display the logs or changes made for a planned orders.  If there is a transaction code also that would display the username of the person who deleted or changed the planned order.
    Thank you.
    -Lyncel

    Hi,
For Planned order change -  Check with  Table PLAF and below fields
    User
Time Stamp - This will give the last change date on  which planned order has changed( For EX today  20,080,506)
However u cannot view the details of  deleted planend order. Because Planned order is temp object only, once u delete, it will be deleted from PLAF table

    Hello all.
I have been search for a user exit in planned orders that allow me to define some code in it to triger some changes. this user exit should be at time of planned order is saved.

Does any one know any user exit that could make my life easiser
    thanks

You can try the following BAdIs:
You can use the Business Add-In (BAdI) MD_PLDORD_CHANGE to change, before posting, data from planned orders, which have been created, changed, or deleted as a result of planning a material or manual processing.
The Business Add-In allows you to fill and change fields from planned orders in the PLAF table. It also supports filling of customer-specific fields in the customer include CI_PLAFDB.
You can execute the Business Add-In in the planning run in the following areas:
    Material requirements planning
    Master production planning
    Long-term planning
You can also carry out the Business Add-In in all applications, which execute manual planned order changes. Examples of this kind of application are:
The dialog transactions for creating and changing planned orders (MD11, MD12, MS11, MS12)
The Business Application Programming Interfaces (BAPI) for creating and changing planned orders
all applications that explicitly or implicitly create or change planned orders, for example the planning table of repetitive manufacturing, repetitive manufacturing confirmation, capacity planning, assembly order processing and so on.
    Requirements
When planning a material or manually processing a planned order, you must change individual fields in the planned order or provide entries for customer-specific enhancements of the planned order structure.
    Standard settings
The Business Add-In is not active in the standard.
The Business Add-In cannot be used multiple times.
The Business Add-In is not filter dependent.
    Activities
To activate the Business Add-In, you must create an active implementation. To do this, choose the following path in the SAP Menu: Tools -> ABAP Workbench -> Utilities -> Business Add-Ins -> Implementation
For more information about this procedure, see the SAP Library under
Basis Components -> ABAP Workbench -> Changing the SAP Standard -> Business Add-Ins -> Implementing Business Add-Ins.
    Further notes
Documentation on the BAdI method CHANGE_BEFORE_SAVE_MRP
Documentation on the BAdI method CHANGE_BEFORE_SAVE_MAN
You can also call the documentation on the BAdI method via the menu, by carrying out the following steps:
    1. Choose the tab page Interface.
    2. Double-click on the relevant method.
    3. Click on the right mouse button and choose Component documentation.
    Update Planned Orders (MD_PLDORD_POST)
    Use
    Application components:  PP-MRP, PP-MP-MPS, PP-MP-LTP, PP-REM
    Function group: M61P, M61U
You can use the Business Add-In (BAdI) MD_PLDORD_POST to further process data from planned orders, which have been created, changed or deleted through the planning of a material or as a result of manual processing.
The Business Add-In allows you to publish the created and changed data from planned orders and can be used to update customer-specific tables or to connect to information systems and workflows.
You cannot use the methods of the Business Add-In to change the planned orders themselves. The planned orders are always posted in the communicated form.
You can execute the Business Add-In in the planning run of the following areas:
    Material requirements planning (PP-MRP)
    Master production planning (PP-MP-MPS)
    Long-term planning (PP-MP-LTP)
You can also execute the Business Add-In in all applications, which carry out manual planned order changes, for example:
The dialog transactions for creating and changing planned orders (MD11, MD12, MS11, MS12)
The Business Application Programming Interfaces (BAPI) for creating and changing planned orders ( PlannedOrder Create, PlannedOrder Change)
All applications that explicitly or implicitly create and change planned orders, for example the planning table of repetitive manufacturing, repetitive manufacturing confirmation, capacity planning, assembly order processing, and so on.
    Standard settings
The Business Add-In is not active in the standard.
The Business Add-In can be used multiple times.
Note that the Business Add-In can be used multiple times and therefore all active implementations are called and run through.
    Example
The following is a possible use for the methods of this Business Add-In:
When planning a material or manually processing planned orders, you want to log the changes made to the planned orders or the triggered subsequent functions.
The subsequent processing of certain planned orders or individual data from the planned orders occurs in an external planning system. In this case, you can log the corresponding changes to these planned orders in a user-defined table during planning. Using a separate report, you can select the data from the log table and process it further.
    Further notes
    Methods
Update Planned Orders: Requirements Planning - POST_AFTER_SAVE_MRP
Update Planned Orders: Manual Processing  - POST_AFTER_SAVE_MAN
You can also call the documentation on the BAdI method via the menu, by carrying out the following steps:
    1. Choose the tab page Interface.
    2. Double-click on the relevant method.
    3. Click on the right mouse button and choose Component documentation.

  • Planned Order Creation using MD_PLANNED_ORDER_CREATE

    Hi ,
I am using the FM MD_PLANNED_ORDER_CREATE , to create planned order .
The start date of the planned order changes based on the factory calendar, is there some way to avoid this the FM has a parameter ECM61S used to pass the scheduling paramaters , but using that also does not help.
Can any one please suggest me some way of doing it.
    Regards
    Arun

    Hi Mangalraj ,
    Thanks for the details.
Even when i try to create a planned order using the transaction MD11 , if i enter 01.01.2008 , it then changes the date to a working day .
Can you provide me with some more input on the use if the parameter ECM61S in the FM MD_PLANNED_ORDER_CREATE .
Is there some setting the factory calendar where we can set it such that planned orders are created even on holidays , kindly also tell transaction to view a factory calendar.
