Regarding Sales group information in HR tables
All,
I am developin a quotation form. This will be eventually approved by a person in senior management. This person is dependant upon which sales group he belongs to. Any one have got idea which table in HR stores the information which sales group an employee belongs to???

I guess SAP has not delivered attributes and attribute datasource for 0SALES_GRP. May be it is a custom datasource for you. Check the datasource. If it is a custom one, goto transaction RSO2 and check the source for the fields.

Regarding sales group testing
First you prepare the document what data need for testing and what is the result data after that.
You just create sales order for a specific sales area in that sales order you check sales office is coming properly and check sales group which is coming in that sales order.
You can check in the header level as well as item level go to menu Go To -->Header or Item --->Click in Sales tab here you can find sales office and sales group.
Regarding acces sequence testing
ou assign that access sequence to your condition type then create condition record in VK11 transaction with the key combination of newly created condition table.
Now you create sales order check the price are executing by the syten as per the key combination or not.

Copy functionality of Sales office and sales group
Standard SAP does not allow sales office and sales group information to flow between documents. Say, quotation to order.

The reason for not coping the sales group and sale office from preceding document to subsequent is to avoid the errors in MIS reporting for sales and billing.For example inquiry has received from sales org.A ,then company will send the quotation to A from different sales office and after that company A might be having different sales offices and sales groups in that sales area.Due to this ,again system will expect the entries from user who is creating the order.

I feel the table which you have given is the right table but in my scenario we have created sales office and sales group(in org structure) independently in CRM, so now we need to find these values from the table independently as well as with relation to BP the table which you have provided can be used for second scenario but if we want to fetch the values of all sales office and sales group which table i have to use.
One more problem for second scenario is in BP we cant able to see the sales ofice & group values which we defined in CRM, if we can save BP with sales office and group values then only we can use the table which you have given

Hi All,
I have a small issue, Whenever I am creating a sales order, the sales office and Sales group of Sold-to-party will be copied which is standard functionality. The requirement is to copy the Sales office and sales group of Ship-to-party assigned to the sales order.
According to our design there are more than a single ship-to-party to a sold-to-party and only Ship-to-parties have the sales group and sales office filled and those fields are empty in Sold-to-party.
Pleae let me know, if there's any way.

During sales order creation through TPI, MCOE specific form routine CUST_SALES_AREA is called in function module SD_SALES_HEADER_MAINTAIN. This form routine passes ship-to-party as customer and hence sales group and sales office in VBAK are filled from ship-to-party. The call to form routine CUST_SALES_AREA is not required as sales office and sales group of sold-to-party are already correctly filled into VBAK by form routine VBAK_FUELLEN_KUAGV of program SAPFV45K.
Solution
Function Module SD_SALES_HEADER_MAINTAIN is modified to remove
unnecessary call to form routine CUST_SALES_AREA of program SAPMV45A.

Initially we had incoming sales order activated in KEKF allong with implemented SAP note 571697, which helped us to update CE1XXXX only for a particular sales order type. This was initial requirement to have system updating COPA values only for one particular sales order type.Also, KEQ3 was also activated which resulted in updates to CE4XXXX. This was not a problem initially since we had few sales orders now that plant has grown old with more sales order (resulting in huge size of CE4XXXX) VA01 is impacted..
Currently ,since we have KEQ3 activated so, Segment is created the moment we create sales order.. and table CE4XXXX is updated..
As most of you have suggested to switch off sales order in KEQ3, i need to analyze the impact of this..
From what i understand CE1XXXX will continue with updation for that order type... and CE4XXXX won't be updated in future..Please correct me if i am wrong..
Also, please advise what all can be possible impacts on COPA reporting if I switch off from now onwards (client has been using this since long) , and what all should be the precautions that i should take while doing this.

Customers without sales in last 6 months by sales group
How would you get the customers that had not placed an order in the last six months by sales group?
I was looking if in MCSI I could find something but no luck, I guess I will have to make a query on SQVI

CarlosYou need to create a Z-Report or manually download data into excel and compare.
You need to sort out all customers based on sales group from table KNVV. Then check against orders created against those sales groups in last 6 months - the difference is te result.
There are two points to be taken care of -
1. All customers which was created in last 6 months but have not done any business - should be excluded from result
2. If sales group is put/changed manually in transaction (i.e. customer and sales order sales groupd are different) then the logic will not work properly - Sales group wise.
I had faced these problems in a similiar report, so just informing.

1. I Made Sales Organization Structure(Sales Organization, Sales office, Sales Group) with Copying ECC Structure
2. And for using Multiple Assigned Structure Exectue report CRMC_ORGMAN_SWITCH_TO_ENH_MODEL and Excute report 'HRBCI_ATTRIBUTES_BUFFER_UPDATE"
3. But It Doesn't work One Sales Group to be assigned to Mutl Sales office.

In my ABAP report,I have to retrive the Sales Org,Sales Office & Sales group of a Business Partner..
I have used Fn Module 'CRM_BUPA_FRG0030_GET_LIST' ,but it is not retriving any details when I am supplying GUID of a BP as a Input..I have used a Table CRMM_BUT_LNK0021 from there I got Sales Org,Channel & Division.
Still I am in need of Sales Office and Sales group..
Can you please suggest me a BAPI / Function Module / Table Name to retrive the requested values..?

Sales Group field should come in to S_ALR_87012178 AR report

1.Is it possible to bring the *Sales Group field from billing document to S_ALR_87012178 AR report. Actually we have pulled Sales group field from billing document to FBL5N report.But client dont want that.He wants Sales group field in S_ALR_87012178 report.please help me whether it is possible or not.

You can go to F.99 in order to see all the reports for Customers.
Hope you will find the best suitable report.
When you are using "Drill down reports" do not forget to select
"Object list (more than one lead column)" this would give you a option to sort them the line items as you want.
Just for your information: SAP1 is the transaction code for all the reports in SAP.

Spro --> Img --> Sales and Distribution --> Basic Functions --> Log of Incomplete items --> Define Incompleeness Procedure (T. Code: OVA2)
Here, Select Group as A - Sales Header
and double-click: Procedures (left hand Dialog Structure).
On to next screen, select Incompleteness Procedure "11" and double click: Fileds (left hand Dialog Structure).
On to next screen, include Table-Filed as:
1. VBAK - VKBUR (for Sales Office) and
2. VBAK - VKGRP (for Sales Group)
for both the entries, select Scr. as "KKAU" and Status as 01 and check Warning.
Note: To make changes in to InCompleteness Procedure, click: (CTRL+F1)
Recommendation: Please save chnaged Incompleteness Procedure as Z - procedure; to avoid changes in to Standard Procedure.
Now,
Spro --> Img --> Sales and Distribution --> Basic Functions --> Log of Incomplete items --> Assign Incompleeness Procedure --> Assign procedures to the sales document types (T. Code: VUA2)
Here, assign your Order type (say, OR) to your Incompleteness Procedure (say, Z - Procedure)
Check Field: IC-Dialog as per requirement (Clck the field and press F1, to read its usage).
Now, Go to, T. Code: VOV8; and select your Sales Doc. Type (say, OR).
Within the Sales Doc., Assign your defined Incompleteness Procedure in to:
Tab: Transacton Flow --> Field: Incompl.proced.
Note: To enable screen, for changes, press (CTRL+F4).

Delivery related billing with VF04 based on sales group.

I want to do delivery related billing in vf04 but sales group filed is grayed in vf04 so sorting is not possible if i not sort then it will bill to all customer that we dont want , i want to bill manually for different Customer on the basis Sales Group, how to handle this situation. we donu2019t have other choice such as Shipping point is only one. The selection criteria fields for VF04 are hard-coded.
This cannot be done, the fields in the billing due list index are the
the fields in the billing due list (VKDFS) -> these are the only ones
that can be read and available to be added to the billing due list.
The nature of your request indicates that is is rather a consulting
issue.
Nevertheless :
A solution for this requirement can look like this (example with
sales office and sales group for RV60SBAT):
Add with an append the new field(s) on table VKDFS
(take care about the customer name space ZZ*)
Fill the fields ZZVKBUR and ZZVKGRP with userexit LV05IF0V
for Orders
FORM USEREXIT_VKDFS_SORTKRI_SALES.
VKDFS-ZZVKBUR = LVBAK-VKBUR.
VKDFS-ZZVKGRP = LVBAK-VKGRP.
ENDFORM.
for Deliveries
FORM USEREXIT_VKDFS_SORTKRI_DEL.
VKDFS-ZZVKBUR = LLIKP-VKBUR.
VKDFS-ZZVKGRP = LLIKP-VKGRP.
ENDFORM.
You will need to take a copy of RV60SBAT and add these fields to the
selection criteria and the select of VKDFS. See note 25026 which is
for selection via Payer but may provide additional information. Also
see note 63523.
You will also need to re-build the billing due index VKDFS with
program RVV05IVB.

Error when trying to save the business group information for a newly created business group , it says a duplicate record
Query all your organizations with a classification of "Business Group".
US HRMS Manager: Work Structures > Organization > Description
Select the existing BG you wish to update. Or create a new organization, classify it as a BG and add the required "other" information.
You may need to query the organization table and look at your BG IDs. I suspect you were trying to create an entity that already existed instead of selecting and updating it.

Check in Opportunity the sales org. u have used. Then go to path: SPRO-> CRM-> Master Data-> Org. Mgmt-> Assignment of Org. units from SAP ECC.
In this node, check the corresponding sales group you are using in ECC and then go to ECC and map the sales office and sales group.
If you dont want to use sales group or sales office then go to tx. PPOMA_CRM in CRM. Select the org. which you are using, then click on Function tab, select Sales radio button and delete the assignment for R/3 sales office and sales group and uncheck them as well.
