Register a w2kwut60.dll

While registering dll'w2kwut60.dll'. eventhough i copied correct dll the following error message occured please let me know how to handle this:
'Dllname is not self-registerable or a corrupted version is in memory.'
I tried option of restaring machine also.

We dont supply any such file. If you mean d2kwut60.dll, then this is not an OLE server it's just a normal DLL. As such it cannot be registered using regsvr32 (if that's what you're doing)

  • Registering of COM Dll

    Hi Experts,
I dont know if i have to post this question in the SAP SDK Forum, but give your inputs/ideas on this problem.
I have created a windows service which will run in the background, in this service i am creating  the company object, using the SAPBOBSCom.DLL I have added this reference.
The setup got created successfully, But when instaling this windows service, i am getting an error message,
Unable to register SAPBobsCOM.dll with 3 options Ignore, Contunie or cancle.
    Thanks in advance,
    Regards,
    Vasu Natari.

    Hello Vasu,
I have used InstallUtil.exe to install the service not MSI project. MSI was not working me fine.
Steps for installing service: (you can test on your machine also)
    1. Complie the project
    2. Copy release files to the target directory
    3. Copy C:\windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v2.0.50727\installUtil.exe to the target directory
    4. Open command prompt and navigate to target directory
    5. execute: installutil.exe "service.exe" - this will display a log file about installation/registering the service
    6. run services.msc and check your service
http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/sd8zc8ha(VS.80).aspx section installing the services manually
    regards,

Ps: Service applications should have an self installer, which contains 2 .net components (from Toolbox)
ServiceProcessInstaller1, and SericeInstaller1 where you can define the service name, account, etc.

  • Problem registering CremePie.dll file

    Hi All,
I am working with signature capture in standard MAM. I am trying to run the standard signature capture functionality in PDA. I have deployed mamsignapplet.cab and
signaturecapture.cab files in side WEB-INF\signature folder.
In SAP Note 897289, I read that we need to register the some dll files in PDA, so that the browser will supports the applets in it.
Also in the same document it was mentioned like
For CrEme versions 3.25, 3.26 and 3.27a there is an acknowledged by NSICOM
bug as plug-in registration link contains wrong dll path for those
    versions. Copy/Paste both "Register/Unregister Plug-In" files from
\Windows\CrEme\Demos to your desktop with the help of ActiveSync, open both
dlls and change the existing line with the following
    \windows\regsvrce.exe \windows\creme\bin\CremePie.dll.
I have copied Register Plugin/Unregister Plugin files to my desktop and  tried to edit them. But they saved as shorcut and I could not edit them. I have checked the properties of that file. There file type is Shortcut and target is \windows\regsvrce.exe CremePie.dll.
Can any body please tell me how to edit this file or can we create this file.
    Regards
    Murthy

    Hi,
for that I use the software "total commander" from http://www.ghisler.com/ running directly on  the PDA. This gives me the ability to edit the file on the PDA.
Please see if REGSVRCE.EXE is available in your windows directory. Some verndors do not deliver that file, cause it is not supported as standard CE file. If this is the case, download the .NET SDK for CE. This installs the file on the PC in the WINCE500 directory - you can download it from there to the device then.
I hope this helps to solve the issue!

  • Problems registering craxdrt.dll

    Hi Everybody,
I am trying to get an application that makes use of Crystal Reports to build but have run into problems due to dlls not being registered on my build machine. The error message I get is:
"The type or namespace name 'CRAXDRT' could not be found (are you missing a using directive or an assembly reference?)".
This is due to a reference we have to craxdrt.dll (which is not registered on the build machine) in our application. The problem is that when I try to register the craxdrt.dll file with regsvr32 I get the following error:
"The module "craxdrt.dll" failed to load. Make sure the binary is stored at the specified path or debug it to check for problems with the binary or dependent .DLL files. The specified module could not be found."
I've had a look at craxdrt.dll with dependency walker, which lists the following dlls as missing:
    API-MS-WIN-APPMODEL-RUNTIME-L1-1-0.DLL
    API-MS-WIN-CORE-WINRT-ERROR-L1-1-0.DLL
    API-MS-WIN-CORE-WINRT-L1-1-0.DLL
    API-MS-WIN-CORE-WINRT-ROBUFFER-L1-1-0.DLL
    API-MS-WIN-CORE-WINRT-STRING-L1-1-0.DLL
    API-MS-WIN-SHCORE-SCALING-L1-1-1.DLL
    CSLIBU-2-1.DLL
    DCOMP.DLL
    GPSVC.DLL
    IESHIMS.DLL
    MFC71U.DLL
I'm not sure if these are a red herring though as they appear to be Windows system DLLs for the most part, which I would not expect to have to redistribute with my application.
Any help would be greatly appreciated as its starting to feel like banging my head against a brick wall trying to get this to work and getting nowhere.
Thanks a lot for any help you are able to give!

    Hi Max,
Moved your post to the Legacy SDK forum.
Need more info, what version of CR are you using?
And since the RDC is only supported in Visual Studio 6 I assume this is what you are using?
Current version of the RDC packages up to CR XI R2 ( version 11.5 ) have redist packages available so don't try to deploy the runtime manually yourself, use the MSM or MSI.
MSI should have all of the dependencies include, MSM will be missing ALL of the dependencies so you need to include them yourself.

  • Registering DLL's

I have an application in VB 6 with Crystal XI as the back end reporting. Everything installed fine but when the user tries to run the reports they get the error "Run-time error u2018339u2019  Component u2018Crystl32.ocxu2019 or one of its dependencies not correctly registered: a file is missing or invalidu201D. I have had the customer go through and register all the dll's that are listed for Crystal. The part that I can't seem to figure out is that if they are logged in as an administrator, the application runs fine but when they log in as an user, they get this error when trying to run the reports. Do they need to do something special for the user to run the reports?

    Hello Lisa,
Since you're having an issue with one of the older Crystal runtime components you'll want to move this post to the "Legacy Applications" forum under the "Crystal Reports and Xcelsius" group.
If the application works correctly when you're logged in as an administator, but not as a regular usuer this suggests an issue with registry access.  It sounds like the regular user doesn't have rights to access the registry.  This may be because when the application was installed it wasn't installed "for everyone."
You can confirm registry access issues by using a utility called RegMon.  It's part of the Sysinternals Suite, and it's available on the Microsoft website.
After addressing the registry permission issue the application should start working for the user.
    Sincerely,
    Dan Kelleher

  • Error 0x80004005 trying to register vb6idemousewheeladdin.dll on Win 7 ultimate 64-bit

I am trying to restore mouse wheel functions into the VB6 IDE.
The microsoft-supplied dll will not register giving the error code 0x80004005.
This is supposed to be a previledge-related error.
UAC is off. Command prompt runs with administrator previledges.
Anybody know how to get around this?
    Thanks

    Hi,
Thanks for posting in Microsoft TechNet forums.
I recommend you do the following:
    1. Run CMD.exe as administrator
    2. Browse to SysWow64 folder
    3. Use normal REGSVR32 command for registering the VB6IDEMouseWheelAddin.dll
    4. Go to Add-in manager in VB6 IDE & add Mouse Wheel in normal way.
    Hope it helps!

    I'm runnning the comand regsvr32 "C:windowssyswow64sapjco3.dll

  • Unable to register ta_flash_lib.dll & ta_programmi...

I'm trying to distribute Nokia Suite by SCCM on a corporate network.
Some computers have an issue when installing.
The errors that show up are (MSI Log)
    MSI (s) (B8:38) [13:33:32:291]: Executing op: RegSelfReg(File=ta_flash_lib.dll,FileID=ta_flash_lib.dll.D321D6CC_DBBE_4AC3_8DBD_DFF82BB39BDC)

CustomAction +ta_flash_lib.dll.D321D6CC_DBBE_4AC3_8DBD_DFF82BB39BDC returned actual error code -2147024770 (note this may not be 100% accurate if translation happened inside sandbox)
If I click ignore, the same issue happens with ta_programmingdevice_lib.dll.
Since this issue only occur on some computers and not all, I would think my custom Transform file for Nokia_Suite.msi is a-ok and the issue lies elsewhere. However, I will try to describe my distribution method as clearly as possible as well as modifications done to the package.
The Nokia Suite exe file was extracted with /U=Nokia
Changes to the transform file with Wise Package Studio 8:
    Based on 1044.mst
    Added reg key to product:
    [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Nokia\Nokia Suite\{55C272E5-541F-406b-A458-5149CB9715FB}]
    "Nos2DownloadAutomatically"="false"
This was added to remove the auto update of the software
Property DESKTOPICON changed from 1 to 0 to remove desktop icon.
The installation sequence in the task sequence is as follow:
    Visual C 8
    Visual C 9
    Visual C 10
    Nokia Connectivity Cable Driver
    Nokia PC Connectivity Solution
    Nokia Suite
The Nokia Suite package is installed with the following command:
    msiexec.exe /i Nokia_Suite.msi TRANSFORMS=1044_mod.mst /qb!-
    The rest is installed with msiexec.exe /i MSIFILE.msi /qb!-
The target computers are Windows 7 Enterprise with Service Pack 1.
Since the cellphone models are irrelevant to this case, I've opted to not include any spesifics here. But since this is a corporate environment it ranges from Symbian devices to Windows Phone 7.5 devices. All installations have been performed while the cellphone is disconnected from the target computer.
Please advice on some dependencies that migth be missing or a workaround.
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

    Thanks for the reply anttih.
I checked with Dependency Walker on both a computer that had a successful install and a computer which failed.
Both reported the only module that had an issue with ta_flash_lib.dll to be IEShims.dll, so I don't think this is the case either.
I tried to manually register the ta_flash_lib.dll on the failed and success computer, and it went well for the latter, but not for the former.
I copied the DLL's from a working computer to a failed and tried to register them (to ensure no file corruption) but I'm getting the same result.
    Using the following command: regsvr32 ta_flash_lib.dll & regsvr32 ta_programmingdevice_lib.dll

  • Registering Dll's When BPC App is on D and SQL Server is on C

I am having an issue registering the Osoft DLL's for SSIS in Bids.  I have SQL Server on my C: and BPC on D: so the DLL's can be seen on D: but when I get inot bids it says the DLL's are not registered.  Becasue they are not on the C: Drive.  I do not want to reinstall BPC on the C: Drive.

    Hi Phil,
    you are doing a confusion.
When you are doing the installation of SAP BPC but actually for any software product registration of dll means it is created a key into registry.
So you don't need to registry the dll you just have to copy some files from d folder into folder where sql server was installed.
Please use the HTG for SSIS packages from follow link
    https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/wiki?path=/x/zb4
There as you see we don't speak about any registration.
Registration into Visual Studio is something else to be able to see the tasks.
So you don't need to install again BPC you have just to copy some files.
    Kind Regards

    Hello,
The best way is to ask the provider for the documentation of how to register the COM properly. Your question is not realated to Visual C# language.

  • FM20.DLL not registering (Error Code 0x80040151)

    Hello,
I apologize if I'm posting this in the wrong forum. If this is the case I'd appreciate it if someone could suggest a better place to ask this question.
I'm trying to register a FM20.DLL file on a 64bit Windows 7 Professional OS with only an industrial software package installed (ie, no Microsoft Office, only default programs that come with Windows 7). I moved it to my SysWOW64 folder and ran the command
regsvr32. However I get the following error message:
The module FM20.DLL was loaded but the call to DllRegisterServer failed with error code 0x80040151
It then told me to look online for the solution but I've been unable to find any answers (or even other people questioning the error code).
One of my searches yielded that it was a 'REGDB_E_WRITEREGDB'
error meaning that I 'could not write that key to a registry'. I honestly have no idea how to resolve that, I've never addressed an issue like this before.
Does anyone have a fix for this? I'd appreciate any insight you could offer.

    Thank you for the response.
The industrial software I installed also installed an FM20.dll file, albeit not the version I need. I've got a file developed from one computer that I need to open on the computer I mentioned and the file versions need to match for certain objects to appear
properly. I was under the impression that I could replace the FM20.dll file with the proper version, register it, and be done.
I was able to simply replace and register the file on a laptop with various software packages already installed but I'm unable to do the same for this new computer with only that one industrial software package.
Do any programs have to be installed for this to register properly?

    Hi,
I need to register a 32 bit delphi component on windows 7 64 bit machine as part of migration of my aplication from windows XP to win 7. After i register the necesary dll's and then run the DCOM exe or try reistering it from running DCOMexe\regserver.. I

    Hi,
Do you mean to enable DCOM on Windows 7?
If yes, please take a look at the following article, take a try to enable DCOM:
    Enable or Disable DCOM
And please note: Component Services is no longer in Administrative Tools. To open Component Services, click
Start. In the search box, type dcomcnfg, and then press ENTER.
    Hope this may help

  • Compiling a vi with link to dll = error 7 "source does not exist"

I'm trying to compile a vi using Application Builder. The vi contains a link to imaq.dll (a part of the NI vision pack).
When I try to build, I get the error
"Error 7 occured at Imaq.dll - source does not exist"
But the source does exist, and it is not hidden, read-only or blocked by security policies.
Why does Application builder refuse to see this file ??
I tried copying the file to the base dir of the vi, and added it to the build from there => same problem.
    System:
    LabView v. 6i
    Imaq v. 2.5
    Windows NT4

    Hi Angelo,
If the vi is working properly under LV, then you can try to register the IMAQ.DLL
    Execute the following command:
REGSVR32 "the complete path of IMAQ.DLL"
You should get a message that it has been registered; then try again.
    Good luck,
