Dear Expert's
I want to link between notification no (qmnum) and measuring point no or measuring point document.
I want to search measuring point number thorough notification no.
plz suggest me ABAP purpose.
thanks.

Neelesh Sonkar

Hi,
1. Get the EQUNR from the table "QMIH" using QMNUM.
2. Get the MOVING_OBJECT from the table "IEQT_WL_MP" using EQUNR.
3. Get the MDOCM (Measurement Document) POINT (Measuring Point) from the table "IMRG"
    using MOVING_OBJECT ( which is MDOCM ).
Hope this will help you.

  • Relation between Sales org and Shipping Point

    Hai all,
Can any one tell me wt is the relation between Sales Org and Shipping point?
    Ravi
< PLEASE DONT USE SMS LANGUAGE AND PLEASE SEARCH THE FORUMS.  >

    Hi Ravi,
    There is no direct relation.
Sales organisation in broader level, it is responsible for selling a product in a company.
It is liable to the customer interms of service of the product or service and confirmation of the sale order, delivery and invoicing.
Shipping Point is a logical point from where the shipment / dispatch begins.
Both Sales organisation & Shipping point wil be linked to plant (one or more).
In case of sale order, sales org will decide the delivering plant.
Shipping point will be picked based on delivery plant, sh.conditions (cmr) & loading grp (mmr).
hope this is clear to you now!

  • Relation between GL Account and Invoice?

    Hi Experts,
I am working with the FI reports for the first time and I do not have any idea on FI functional flow. I have some basic questions like
What is the Relation between GL Account and Invoice?
When will an Invoice be posted into BKPF, BSEG, BSAD, BSID, BSAK and BSIK? Is there any field in these tables which gives the Invoice number against which a GL Account is created?
For example if I want to calculate " no of vendor invoices without PO how can I do that"? How can I know what are vendor invoices created against a PO or without PO?
Thanks for any help in advance and I am bound to reward points.
    Sri

<b>What is the Relation between GL Account and Invoice?</b>
SAP's Glossary for GL Account is
"A structure that records value movements in a company code and represents the G/L account items in a chart of accounts.
A G/L account has transaction figures that record changes to the account during a posting period. These figures are totals that are used for G/L reporting."
In accountancy, an account is a label used for recording and reporting a quantity of almost anything. For example when a company pays salary to its staff, They debit Salary account. This is to identify what is the nature of an expense.
An invoice is a message to the buyer of goods or services that contains, among other things, Name of the goods or services, Quantity sent, & Remuneration due.
Invoice is also a SD document used to charge a customer for a delivery of goods or for services rendered.
<b>When will an Invoice be posted into BKPF, BSEG, BSAD, BSID, BSAK and BSIK? Is there any field in these tables which gives the Invoice number against which a GL Account is created?</b>
If it were a vendor invoice. (i.e you purchase items or service and recieve invoice)
Invoice get posted to the tables once someone makes a Logistics Invoice verification through t-code MIRO etc. The teble RBKP gets the first posting.
If it were your own invoice to your customers, then VBAK and VBAP get the posting.  The connectivity of tables are available in http://www.erpgenie.com/abap/tables.htm As far as SAP is concerned an invoice is a document, so you can only trace invoice as a document number, field name is usually BELNR. Even if a vendor invoice arrive, an internal invoice number is generated where the vendor invoice is entered only as a reference field. This is because, each vendor can have inovices of different size and pattern.
<b>How can I know what are vendor invoices created against a PO or without PO?</b>
For a purchase order you can find in table EKBE for BEWTP = Q any invoice document.

  • Reg: measuring point creation and measuring point counter creation

how to create measuring point and measuring point counter.
what is the difference between these two.
    what is measuring point category,
    what is measuring point
    what is measuring point object
    what is measuring position.
can anyone explain me in an easy for better understanding.

Firstly a Measuring point is nothing but, a factor which you measure on an equipment/FL. (Temperature, Vibration etc)
Then, a measuring point is created either on a Functional location or on an Equipment.
IK01 is the T-code for creating it.
If it is for F/L you have to use IFL as measuring point object, when it is an equipment you use IEQ
Generally these two will be in use.
In the IK01 screen if you tick the counter checkbox, the MP becomes a counter.
Example for simple MP is temperature.
And example for a Counter MP is 'Litres of petrol consumed'
In the first case you don't need to add the temperature measurements, whereas in the petrol consumption you may wish to have the cumulative value of readings taken for a period of time.
The measuring position: Example : If you are measuring the temperature of a Motor on the Drive side, you may put 'Drive End' in this field, or similar many applications.
    Category would group these MPs.
In case of need you may define in customisation a sep[arate MP category.
Then each time you read a MP through IK11 or other methods a Measuring Document is created.

  • Relation between RFC time and Roll wait time

    Hello
What is the relation between RFC time and Roll wait time?
In a diagram from E2E100 training I took recently the relationship is made out to be:
RFC+CPIC = some processing time + Roll wait time
    Something like this
    Processing----
    Roll wait-------
    Roll in
    RFC+CPIC----
In the diagram I saw it shows that roll out occurs during processing.
Assumming that the user context rolls out and then rolls in again, wouldn't "Wait" time occur when the request comes back and the dispatcher has to assign the request to a work process?
Is this wait time calculated as "Wait" time or is it calculated as "Roll wait" time?
I was forced to think about this because of a STAD record I have with high Roll wait time, but with low RFC time as well as zero GUI time. If "Wait" time when the request comes back from RFC is included in "Roll wait" then it might explain what i'm seeing.
    Kind regards,
    Peter

    Hello Santosh,
    Thank you for your reply.
I would like to know how time spend in the dispatcher by a request coming back from an RFC is calculated.
When the RFC is made the user context is rolled out of the work process so the work process becomes free. When the RFC comes back it has to be assigned to a new work process. This means that a bit of time would need to be spent in the dispatcher. Would this time be measured as "wait" time or is it part of "Roll wait time?
From the definition you gave of "Roll wait time", "it is the time dedicated by the R/3 system to waiting for the return value of an RFC call plus the CPIC time required to create the connection for that RFC to an outside system", one would think that the time spent in the dispatcher by a returning RFC would be measured as "wait time" the same as when the dialog request first comes in from the front end. I've never seen a diagram that explained this satisfactorily.
    Kind regards,
    Peter

  • Relation between Integrated Planning and BPS

    Dear all,
I am just considering about using the BI Integrated Planning. I have a few question about the relation between BW-BPS and BI Integrated Plannning. Can anybody tell me about the near future about these both two? Is the BI Integrated Planning going to replace the BW-BPS or are they going to co-exist instead? Do we have to use them both? Although I'm not used to the new features of BI Integrated Planning, I just quite don't get what is the advantage of using them besides ensuring the future development.
    Best regards,
    Takashi

    Hi Matsumoto,
I have recently implemented both BW-BPS and IP on 2004S.
I have always started with trying to implement IP instead of BW-BPS because, as we all agree, it is the future. Another reason was personal: I wanted to learn IP.
Sometimes I however had to switch to BW-BPS because of following reasons:
    - the front-ends are more advanced if the users have a SAPGUI installed. The Excel front-end of IP is more advanced compared to the Excel GUI version of BW-BPS. IP is based on workbooks (the same as BW workbooks). Workbooks have more flexibility than BW-BPS Excel GUI version. The problem is that you need the 2004S gui to use IP via workbooks. Installations of the 2004S gui is rather complex and is almost impossible to install remotely because there are so many components involved.
    - the front-ends on the web do not require a SAPGUI and are more advanced in BW-BPS. In BW-BPS, you can use the office web components (Excel on the web) where you can copy past, etc. The IP web version is HTML based and does not yet support the office web component. You can use it for data entry of a limited number of data but is hard to use for large volumes.
    - BW-BPS for now supports more hierarchy features than IP. Displaying hierarchies can be done on IP. If you want to do bottom-up or top-down planning, it is adviseable to develop on BW-BPS; Again, these features will in the future be supported by IP but are not yet.
    - performance: saving is quite slow in IP compared to BW-BPS.
    - timing: if you want to move fast, go for BW-BPS. There is a lot more documentation on forums, you will have a lot less problems etc.
By the way, Sean is 100% correct about the instability of IP. We had to implement a number of notes and had SAP to create new notes for problems we had.
Please assign points if this solved your problem.
    Best Regards,
    Filip

  • What's the difference/relation between a topic and a page?

    Hello all,
I'm not sure about the relation between a new page and a topic: it seems that a topic can be composed of pages, but when I look at the topic's HTML, there's no new section (DIV) for the added page.
Also, am not sure about the relation between the book and the topics/pages.
Would be grateful if somebody could either point to reference material or provide a few clarifying words on this.
    Many thanks, Donna

    Hello again
Okay, I'm interpreting that as meaning it really didn't make much better sense to you. I'll take another stab at it.
When we create content in RoboHelp, we create what most of the world would know as HTML Pages. These are simple files that contain HTML code. And on the World Wide Web, they would be generically called Web Pages.
But remember, RoboHelp is a Help Authoring application. Not a Web building tool. So while the tool (RoboHelp) actually creates different HTML Pages, in Help Authoring speak, we just call them Topics. Because we are typically describing something helpful. So this Topic is about clearing a paper jam from a printer while this other Topic is about How to Fill Out an Expense Report.
So generically speaking, each of our HTML Pages in our project is known as a different Topic. Sometimes we mix the terms can call them Topic Pages. So they are sort of synonomous in that respect. HTML Page = Topic
Now, part of building any respectable help system is the fact that you are able to create a Table of Contents (TOC). Each node (or entry) that is part of your TOC structure likely points to a different Topic in your project. But when we edit the TOC, we generically say we are creating a Page. (This is typically because the TOC most often uses icons that look like Open or Closed Books, with Pages inside each Book that individually point to Topics.)
Hopefully that makes better sense... Rick

  • Relation between STD Price and Costing

    Hi,
Could anyone explain about the relation between STD Price and Costing & when and where it gets effected.
    Points will be rewarded.
    Regards

    Hi ,
    Std. Price :-
A constant price at which a material is valuated without taking goods movements and invoices into account.
    Costing:-
The value of use of economic goods both tangible and intangible for the creation and sale of goods and services, as well as the acquisition and maintenance of plant and machinery.
A process that calculates the cost of goods manufactured, or the cost of goods sold, in relation to a product or cost object.
The results of costing are used to determine the following information:
    Target costs
    Variances for materials produced
    Contribution margin for materials sold
The costing process is based on the order quantity or the costing lot size in the material master record.

there is a workaround you can try, create audience and add DL to them and deal with the audience or convert DL to groups

  • Relation between MSEG table and movement types in 2lis_03_bf

    Hi all,
May i know the relation between MSEG table and 2lis_03 _bf xtractor stock type/stockcategory where we see the informarion in r/3 side for this, you answers gets rewarded.
    regards,
    Dan.

    Hi,
Most of the data for IM comes from the tables MSEG andd MKPF. You can go to MSEG contents and see the data there. You will find all the movement types, stock types and stock categories there. You can also use the transactions MB5B, MB51 etc.. to see the related info in R/3. As I said most of the data comes from these tables but not all the data. It uses some internal programming to get the data.
    Hope it helps...

    Hi Deepesh,
    Try the foll. join :
SELECT  fragment_guid  INTO  (some internal Table)
             FROM  comm_pr_frg_rod
WHERE  product_guid  = (your product guid list)
This should give u a complete match of the products.
