Relationship between the currenct view value and Memberset value
I have a report with account dimension in the row and time dimension in the col. when I input value 2011.TOTAL in the CV, From the dropdown manu of the MemberSet, the only two value to make the report work is BAS and BASMEMBERS, if I choose other value such as SELF,DEP. the report will display "EVDRE encountered an error occurs while communicating with web server" message.
However, if I input 2011.Q1 in the CV, the BAS and DEP is working which will display all the three month for 2010.Q1., but still not work for SELF.
I remember in BPC M version, all the above scenario is working. we are using BPC NW 7.5 now.
Any idea can share?
jianbai-
Possible cases:
1.The error suggests tht your BPC excel might not be connected t o the server.?
WHen you check your time dimension in your BPC excel..do you see your time hierarchy as designed.?
Also try closing your BPC EXCEL and restarting it from Administration.(Available interfaces).. thus making sure that it is connected to the Server.
2.HOw come your options BAS and BASMEMBERS are displaying the same set of time dimensions.
BAS- displays base members of the CV
BASMEMBERS - displays all the base members for the dimension.
DO you have only 2011.TOTAL in your TIme Dimension?
BAS/DEP- will NOT work if you select a base member in CV-- and ask for BAS /DEP of a base member-
evdre throws an error.
Hope this provides some direction in solving your issue.

Re: What is the relationship between the JTA Server Timeout and
Two things. The transaction timeout is set when the transaction starts. When are you setting the timeout, and where are you starting the transaction?
There is a bug in 6.0 SP1. The EJB subsystem always sets the transaction timeout. If you don't specify anything in your descriptor. It sets the timeout to 30 seconds. However, if you
change the JTA default to 60 seconds, the EJB container won't see this change. This is fixed in our next minor release.

PS-Relationship between the system status in wbs elements and activities.
Relationship between the system status in wbs elements and activities.
We have the following requeriment with the system status in PS. We have a project with complete technically status and we want to undo the complete technically status in one activity without changing the complete technically status in the WBS element or the project.
The reason is that after putting the complete technically status, users have to change the values in the P.O. We don´t want "open" all the project and we only need to "open" the activity where the P.O. are in.
Is that possible? How is connected the system status between activities, wbs elements and the project son I can change the status in the below step without changing the higher steps?
Thanks in advance.Hi Bala
Yes, you have put it rather correctly.
We use WBS elements for booking and posting time (client requirement). So what I am looking for is WBS Elements with the system status TERL (Time and Expense Released).
I talked of the deletion flag also, because a WBS element flagged for deletion can't be used. It's one of the criteria to screen the WBS elements.
I hope it's clearer now.

Error while adding a used relationship between the New DC and the Web DC
Hi Gurus
We are getting the Error in NWDS while Adding a used relationship between the New DC and the Web DC.
Steps what we are Done
1. Create the custom project from inactiveDC's
2.creating the project for the component crm/b2b in SHRAPP_1
3.After that we changed the application.xml and given the contect path.
4.Then we tried to add Dependency to the custom create DC we are getting the error saying that illegal deppendency : the compartment sap.com_CUSTCRMPRJ_1 of DC sap.com/home/b2b_xyz(sap.com.CUSTCRMPRJ_1) must explicitly use compartment sap.com_SAP-SHRWEB_1 of DC sap.com/crm/isa/ like that it was throwing the error.
so, we skip this step and tried to create the build then it is saying that build is failed..
Please help us in this regard.
Awaiting for ur quick response...
Regards
SatishHi
Please Ignore my above message.
Thanks for ur Response.
After ur valuble inputs we have added the required dependencies and sucessfully created the projects, then building of the projects was also sucessfully done and EAR file was created.
We need to deploy this EAR file in CRM Application Server by using the interface NWDI.
For Deploying the EAR into NWDI, we need to check-in the activites what i have created for EAR. once i check-in the activites ,the NWDI will deploy the EAR into CRM Application Server.
In the Activity Log we are able to check the Activities as Suceeded but the Deployment column is not showing any status.
When i right click on my activity Id the deployment summery is also disabled.
So finally my Question is that where can i get the deployment log file, and where can i check the deployment status for my application..
Any pointers in this regard would be of great help..
Awaiting for ur valuble Responses..

Relationship between the "Stage" and the "preLoader"
Other than the "preLoader" loading the project what is the relationship between the 2 elements in the project. Is the "preLoader" on the stage? is there a "stage" for the preloader ?
In css markup in my html file to I need to deal with them seperately if I want to move there loaction?
I use...
sym.$("#Stage").css({"margin": "auto"})
in compReady to center my stage. I tried do this with the preloader but it doesn't work. The stage is centered but the preloader off to the left. Is there some code I can add to the project so my preloader will allways center in the same location where my stage is placed?
If I'm using html css markup to place my "stage" how do I address the preloader so it's goverened by the same markup ?
Also maybe this should be a seperate post question, but how would i add a timer to report preload times to the console ?
Thanks
Joel HThat doesn't work all the time and sometimes it works with stage but not the preloader, especialy if I want to center vertically also like
<style>
#Stage {
width:350px;
height:350px;
position:absolute;
left:50%;
top:50%;
margin:-175px 0 0 -175px;
</style>
this doesn't work. But if I apply the same markup to a wrapper div it does work. like
<style>
#StageWrapper {
width:350px;
height:350px;
position:absolute;
left:50%;
top:50%;
margin:-175px 0 0 -175px;
</style>
then in the <body>
<div id="StageWrapper">
<div="Stage" class="EDGE-blah-blah">
</div></div>
this works great, you just can't open your html file in edge again cause it screws your project all up.
I was just wondering why if I was centering my stage with js in the project file why the preloader wasn't doing the same thing or how to do the same thing with js in the project file
thanks

Switching between the Classic View and the Tree View in transaction FEBA
Hi All
I would like to know how to switch between the Classic View and the Tree View on transaction FEBA for post processing of bank statements. I have a scenario where in the DEV client the transaction is calling up the Tree View and in my QA environment it calls up the Classic View, and I would like to know if there is a way to easily switch between the two views.
I'd appreciate your assistance.Hi,
I think you can do the same using transaction codes FEBA and FEBAN.
Thanks

What is the relationship between the SAP BC and XI?
Hi Friends,
What is the relationship between the SAP BC and XI?
Regards
SamHi Samuel Melvin ,
The SAP BC is basically WebMethod's product supplied free of charge to SAP customers.
SAP XI is a purchased product from SAP that can be used to integrate multiple systems, you would need to contact your SAP Account rep to discuss licensing issues. You cannot download it for free from sapnet.
It is probably more relevant to discuss the comparison between these solutions based on a specific scenario, but here are some basic differences. Obviously, the foremost one being that the SAP Exchange Infrastructure (XI) belongs to the SAP Netweaver technology suite, whereas Business Connector although bundled by SAP is really a Integration tool provided by Web Methods.
Being a Netweaver solution the SAP XI is central in design and configuration. The SAP XI is really integrated as a required solution for some of new mySAP solutions like SRM. For example, the mySAP SRM business scenario for Supplier Self Services in EBP requires the implementation of SAP XI, the Business connector cannot be utilized to replace this scenario. Although the SAP Business Connector can still be utilized with SRM for all XML based communication. Both mySAP SRM and XI runs natively on the SAP WebAS Server.
The Business Connector is a point to point solution that provides messaging and routing. Currently a number of organizations using the Business Connector utilize it to communicate between its partners using XML based messaging. This can be achieved using SAP XI as well, but SAP's strategy is to utilize XI as a central hub for messaging, routing, and communication between all SAP, non-SAP systems as well as partners. As SAP XI is a relatively new solution, organizations that are looking for communicating with their partners to exchange XML based documents or other point-to-point scenarios can still utilize SAP Business connector.
Initially, when SAP announced the SAP XI, there was a notion that SAP Business Connector would be phased out and SAP XI would be the solution utilized hereon. But SAP will continue to support the Business Connector, the SAP Exchange Infrastructure will remain as the SAP's strategic integration solution. All new and or updated SAP solutions will make use of the XI for all process-centric, message based integration. As upgrades are scheduled and new solutions deployed we'll see the mandated need for XI but currently the only solution that natively requires SAP XI is mySAP SRM 2.0.
It will be interesting to see how organizations that already utilize SAP Business Connector warm up the SAP XI idea. But for the most part they will not have a choice really, as the new mySAP products are going to natively require the use of SAP XI for all process-centric integration between the different SAP solutions. But there is no reason why organizations cannot continue to utilize the SAP Business Connector for all point-to-point solutions already deployed with possibly document exchange and partner integration. Hope this helps.

Relationship Between ECC Customers (Contact Persons) and CRM BP
Hello,
I am new to middleware and need some help with the relationship between ECC customers/contact persons and CRM business partners.
We are transferring via bdoc this information from ECC to CRM.
Which bdoc types are used when transferring customers/contact persons? I believe it is BUPA_MAIN but am not too sure. How is the relationship between customer its contact person transferred? Is this done through BUPA_REL? I looked at the segment fields in SBDM but am not too sure how to understand the relationship...
Thanks for the help!
Regards,
TiffanieThanks! With the initial load, how do I check what fields are being passed in the bdocs?
I tried to look for customer_main, customer_rel in SBDM and couldn't find it. Instead I used BUPA_MAIN and found some segments but couldn't find all the data that was being transferred (e.g. customer name, address, etc...) Where do I find all the fields contained in the bdoc?
I see them in SMW01 when I view the bdoc contents but can not find the actual structure (data fields) that are being brought in from ECC.
Thanks!

Where to find the information regarding relationships between the tables?
I am developing a Windows based app which among other things lets users view SAP table schema and relationships.
If I use SAP GUI and dig up a bit on say the MARA table I can see that
Material Master (MARA) is related with
1) MaterialDescription (MAKT) on columns MANDT and MATNR
2) MaterialPlantData (MARC) on columns MANDT and MATNR
and so on
My question is - in which table the information regarding relationships between the tables is stored? There must be a data dictionary table which would be storing the relationships data. Which is it? Note: I will programatically access the table, NOT from the UI.Thanks a lot...
I am still working on it, but here are the current findings. DD05S, DD08L and DD08T: The schemas for these tables were very promising for the thing I was looking for. Unfortunately the data within dose not seem to serve my exact purpose.
I found another one DD26S, which has almost 90% of the relationships I wish to explore. Do you know what is it supposed to contain?
Thanks a lot for your help.

Differences between the Horizon 2, A740 and A730?
Hey guys, I was thinking of buying a Dell 27 inch pc when I found some Lenovo Ideacenter pcs on youtube. They look much sleeker, and I want to get one in June or July.
Think is, I don't know which one to settle on. I know I want a all in one 1440p tv with a powerful processor to do a lot of movie viewing, and amatuer music making and video editing on FL Studio, Adobe Audition, and Sony Vegas.
So right now I'm thinking between the recently announced A740 and Horizon 2 (and the old A730 if push comes to shove). I don't know what the major differences between them spec and feature wise are. Like which would be better to have a bunch of programs open, snappier to use, boots quickly, etc.A740 is the latest version of A7x0 series machine, it is the replacement for A730. Horizon series has a built in battery for portability. These are the major differences.

Nexus 6004 EIGRP Relationship between the two switches
Hi All,
I will try to explain this as best as I can. In our current TEST LAB we have a Pair of Cisco ASA5585x running in Active/Passive mode. We use a VRF transit to connect the 10 GB interface to a Pair of Cisco Nexus 6004 (L3) switches running vPC between them. Downstream we also have a pair of Cisco 9372 switches (L2) also running vPC between the two.
As of right now we have EIGRP neighbor relationship formed between the two N6K's and the ASA.
ASA

Both Nexus Switches formed EIGRP neighbors using the vPC Peer-Link. There is enough documentation out there that strongly suggest not to use vPC Peer-Links for EIGRP anything.
We do have additional interfaces available on the 6K's that we can use as a cross connect for EIGRP. What we are having trouble understanding how we can force EIGRP traffic over those ports?

Are you ready for the mass confusion?
when Looking at the ASA EIGRP neighbors output here is what I see.
ASA# sh eigrp neighbors

0 172.16.230.9 Te0/8.451 13 16:45:20 1 200 0 148
For simplicity sake lets just concetrate on Interface TenGigabit0/8.451 which is the SVI on the Nexus switch that is VLAN451
From the Nexus Switch 6004 that is directly connected to the ASA here is what I see
SWI01# sh ip eigrp neighbors vrf Inside

2 172.16.230.11 Vlan451 14 16:53:48 24 144 0 20
The Inside VRF that is tied to both SVI's on the Switch vlans 451 and 680 is in EIGRP 100 on the switch
SWI01# sh run int vlan 451

so you with me so far?
If you are you have noticed that on the ASA neighbors the ASA sees 172.16.230.11 as a neighbor which is the Secondary Nexus SW. That is becauise they all share the same subnet.
172.16.230.8/29
Brakedown:
PRI Nexus 6004 - 172.16.230.9
SEC NEXUS 6004 - 172.16.230.10
PRI ASA 5585x - 172.16.230.11
SEC ASA 5585x - 172.16.230.12
Because the ASA EIGRP network is a /29 it learns the Secondary Nexus via the Primary Nexus.
I am not sure that the link we created between the two Nexus Switches is doing anything but consuming ports right now.
SWI01# sh run int ethernet 8/9
interface Ethernet8/9
description EIGRP PORT to Secondary Nexus
switchport mode trunk
switchport trunk allowed vlan 450-451
SWI02# sh run int ethernet 8/9
interface Ethernet8/9
description EIGRP PORT to Primary Nexus
switchport mode trunk
switchport trunk allowed vlan 450-451
So the SVI's that go up to the ASA for inspection are 450 and 451. The network SVI's are 600 and 680 all of them live on the switch, and 680, and 600 are extended over the peer links down to the 9372's.
I think that we are breaking the golden rule of vPC BUT.. I am not 100% sure. Some of the documents read that we should not be allowing network vlans over peer links, but then how do you extend the vlans down to the leaf switch?
This is giving me nightmares at the moment…
does this make sense? -

Differences between the HP Deskjet 3522 and HP Deskjet 3520?
Hi,
Could anyone please tell me what is difference between the HP Deskjet 3522 and HP Deskjet 3520??
I have seen both for sale online and and can see no difference between them... so not sure why the different model numbers
Thank you!
This question was solved.
View Solution.The difference in the product number, is because it coodinates with the serial number.
So when you have a problem, or warranty issues, the product number will match up with the serial in the system.
