Logic Remote iPad app can not find my iMac.

I have tried every thing suggested on here to try and fix this but the Logic Remote iPad app can't find my iMac running Logic Pro X.
They are on the same Wi-Fi network, I've disabled the firewall, turned on file sharing, deleted and reconnected to my Wi-Fi on both my iMac and my iPad, removed all other CS's etc etc etc. Any thoughts about anything I may not have tried?

My remote iPad keyboard stopped working

Any update?
Apple Support always say reboot your computer, unplug the keyboard, the keys are broken, ... But I bought 2 of these keyboards and they have the same frustrating problem. When you unplug them and plug them back they STOP working sometimes for long time or sometimes you have to hit the keys for a while to get the keyboard back.
Since about a year I just let my mb air powered on with my keyboard because I need my keyboard to work. (and it's hugely frustrating to start your day trying to get your keyboard working)
I just bough a mb pro late 2013 and the keyboard do not work at all.

Remote iPad App: can't access AppleTV, purchased music won't clear

I can't access AppleTV screen. My "purchased music" pops up on the iPad screen and I can't clear it to access the AppleTV menu using the Remote app.

Did you already restart/ reboot your Wi-Fi router?
Also execute "Forget this Network" on your iPad.
Once your router has restarted, try to connect again.

Have just bought Beosound 8, which Can dock iPod, iPad and iphones.
However, I cannot control the units Remote by Apple Remote app. It is the iPad/iPhone which Can control iTunes Remote on my MacBook.
How do I Remote control the iPad/iPhone from my MacBook so When I am using my beosound 8, I Can create playlists and etc etc ???

3rd Gen Headphones with Remote + iPad

I bought a pair of the apple headphones with remote online. I think they are the 3rd gen version.
I can't get the remote to work with my iPad
Anyone know if these are incompatible for some reason?

Since other users are having a problem I would say there is either a problem with the iOS or that the headphones are not fully compatible with the iOS. I now of nothing you can really do.

ITunes Radio Stations on Remote iPad App

How do you display iTunes Radio stations, including custom stations in the iPad Remote app? I'd prefer to see large tiles the way albums are displayed. I've seen them displayed that way previously, but now I'm stuck with only able to show this category list?

I just stumbled upon this problem too and found that if you press edit on the "more" menu and drag the radios icon to the toolbar, it stays there. I played with this for a while and it doesnt disappear.

Use a remote iPad for development purposes?

I want to allow my partner's iPad to test my apps. No problem, of course if the iPad is within connecting distance to XCode. However, the iPad is at a remote location, and my partner doesn't use a Mac.
How can I authorise the device and transfer my apps to it for testing?

Logic Remote iPad app not working

I've have Logic Pro X installed on Mountain Lion and the latest IOS on an iPad (3rd gen) running Logic Remote but can't get them to work together.
After I choose the Mac pop up boxes keep appearing with either an option to re-connect to Mac or the attached error. (In the backround I can see the clock ticking that's synced with the Logic project playing on the Mac?
I've never had any problems with my wi fi and all the other apps work fine (including other controller apps that communicate with Logic Pro 9?)
I've tried removed the iPad from the Control Surface Setup page in Logic Pro X and selecting it again from the iPad app (which re-adds it correctly into the Setup in Logic Pro X)
Any ideas?

Amazingly this worked, thanks. I'd already removed and let it add automatically a few times and it didn't work properly even after authorizing it.
I removed it from the setup and then added it back in manually myself (New, Install, Apple Logic Remote).
Then I ran the iPad app, and I ended up with 2 Logic remotes in the Control Surfaces Setup. The iPad logic remote wasn't coming up with any errors but all the faders were on 0 when they weren't on the Logic Pro X on the mac.
I then deleted the first Logic Remote in the Control Surfaces Setup and it seems to work. Thanks!

HT1947 Remote iPad volume not playing - plays music on iMac instead

I loaded Remote for iPad to my iPad2 and it found my music library through home sharing no problem. However, when I hit play to listen to the music on my ipad the ipad volume is silent (it shows the music time advancing) but the music is playing full volume on my imac instead. WTH? Anyone else encounter this and know how to make a quick fix so I can listen to the music on ipad? I have successfully loaded home sharing to my mac air and listen to music on that computer no problem (without it playing on my imac).

Well that's a rather useless app.
Then don't use it.
Why would I need to access my desktop PC from my iPad if we are all in the same room together? Wouldn't I just click "Play" from the desktop?
Why get up and press Play when you have a remote in your hand?
What if your desktop is in the office and you want to play music on your stereo in the family room?
Or what if you have outdoor speakers and want to access your entire library while barbecuing?

Sometimes I'm in work and decide I want watch a film when I get home on my iPad. Is there a way I can remotely tell my iPad to download a film so that I don't have to wait for to download when I get home? I have a iPhone 4 so maybe there is a way to send the information across

Remote ipad access

Is there a way to control an ipad remotely similar to GoToMyPC? Our salesmen have ipads and we would like to be able to access the ipads, with their permission and while they are watching, to do some system maintenance. Is there a program where we can control their ipad remotely?
Seems kinda basic but I can't find anything in the app store.

You can push out settings and other such control via a number of MDM (mobile device management) solutions, but if you mean you wish to observe and control the iPad's screen, that's not possible.

How do you allow remote iPad access to our internal corporate network?

We have a group of sales guys who are going to be getting iPads (if we can make this functionality work.) We have an internal network where we have several hundred files stored that each sales guy accesses on a daily basis. While traveling, we are wanting the salesmen to be able to use an iPad to access those files stored on our internal network (these are basically MS Word files and MS Excel files.)
I understand this is easy when setting up a laptop to connect remotely. Is it easily do-able with an iPad?
Any thoughts??

So something like Goodreader or Dropbox would work...if the files are *.doc's you could use Quick Office Pro HD to edit them. An iPad probably isn't the place to do complicated edits, however...either of these apps will allow a file local to the iOS device to be stored, then sent to another app such as Quick Office Pro HD...or you could also have the files stored in an email folder in say, Outlook, and then have that folder sync to the iOS device OTA with the iOS Exchange client...
