Remote Jobs just keeps in running, but no results
Hi All,
I am new to oracle scheduler.
I have been able to create and run local jobs.
As of now I am trying to study and test running remote jobs.
I have already installed,configured and started the remote scheduler agent .
I have created a credential in my db.

I have also stopped the job by stopping the remote agent then stopping the job as it has already been running for a long time.
I will run it again.
Thanks for the advise, I will rewrite my other jobs removing double quotes.

I am facing problem in prd ,we have 2 active node the job SAP_COLLECTOR_FOR_PERFMONITOR keep on running eg 44,21sec,tan I have to cancel it manual this is suddenly. this happened with not all the hourly jobs ,but only 1 or 2 time in a day a any time.

Cannot download apps, it just keeps saying loading but never loads
When I try to download any apps, they just keep say waiting and waiting and never load, what is the problem, this is getting me very irritated!!

Why does my iPhone 4 Bluetooth just keeps saying "Searching" but won't show devices.
When I go to my bluetooth settings, it says it's in discoverable mode & just keeps searching and not popping up any devices. I have iOS 7.0.2. I'm trying to connect my bluetooth headphones.
I even tried to use bluetooth connection on both my parents' iphones, it just keeps saying "searching".

My ipod seems to be "stuck" downloading of workout information to Nike+. Ipod keeps saying it is downloading but doesn't complete download, runs my battery down and my computer doesn't now recognize my ipod and I get "error" message (2005). What can I do to fix this problem?
I suggest try getting it back to your stock iOS and forget about jailbreaking.

Cannot drop job - says it's running, but it's not
I did a dbms_scheduler.stop_job (which did not raise any error/warnings), and I killed the database session, but my job is still in user_scheudler_running_jobs view (with null session_id, null cpu_used). When I do a user_scheduler.drop_job, i get an error that the job is running. Any ideas how to get rid of this?

If a job is forcefully stopped it may take a few minutes for it to be marked as no longer running - it should be done when the database cleans up the process.
If it remains running after a few minutes (and is not a chain job) then you may be running into a bug tracked internally as bug #7258928 for which a fix may be available through support.

Open time machine and shut it off.
Chances are you will still be receiving the emails, meaning that it is a spam type of malware that may have changed your mail settings and only appears to be from the time machine.
Open your mail program preferences and set to delete from server after being read, if that is possible with your mail program.
Sometimes it is not best to forward all the seemingly harmless and funny emails that come your way.
After all, that is what the kids writing viruses are counting on.
Perhaps a free antivirus program such as Sophos may help you out. -

i found the new record on BUT000CRM, and the transaction SMW01 says that the process is ok,
but on the transaction R3AM1 i read that the bdoc is still running...from yesterday....
can anybody help me??

please check transactions SMQ1 and SMQ2 on CRM side and SMQ1 on R/3 side. Maybe you'll find there some hanging BDOCs.

Firefox won't update. I keep getting a download request and it tries to connect to the server but it just keeps on running and never downloads any thing.
If there are problems with updating then best is to download the full version and uninstall the currently installed version.
Download a fresh Firefox copy and save the file to the desktop.

Identify Jobs that are not running on their Scheduled date time
I have 29 scheduled jobs that run at different intervals of time. Some run once a day. few others run on hourly basis while others run on Sundays.
I was working on a query that would let me know if a particular job did not run on its scheduled date and time.
SELECT * from all_scheduler_jobs WHERE state <>'DISABLED'; will give me a list of all jobs that I have to monitor and that are not in the disabled state. But how can I verify that the jobs are running at their scheduled date time?
Any help please? I need to create a view of all such jobs and then plan to send an alert so that appropriate action can be taken and it is assured that all important jobs run as per schedule.

I can see 2 approaches.
- for jobs that have run but ran very late you should query dba_scheduler_job_run_details and filter by the difference between req_start_date and actual_start_date
- for jobs that should have run but shouldn't, query for DBA_SCHEDULER_JOBS jobs that are SCHEDULED where next_run_date is in the past

My G4 has suddenly stopped powering up. The power button just keeps flashing slowly, but the monitor shows nothing, any suggestions?
Was there any beeping at power on? Is the flashing a sequence of short flashes at half-second intervals, with the sequence repeated at five-second intervals? That may indicate a memory or logic board problem.
Also, have you reset the CUDA chip?
FInally, how old is your PRAM battery? That may be causing problems as well, though usually PRAM related problems show up later in the boot process. -

Just got an iMac. I am trying to use Migration Assistant. The Mac side seems to be doing it's job, but my PC just keeps "Waiting for the Mac to connect." For over an hour.

this is what you need to do to exclude everything apart from desktop.
on time machine preferences, click on Options
click plus sign, on the new window, click macintosh HD
do a Control + A then deselect users then click okay
go to options again, plus sign, go to users, control +A then deselect your user account
go to options again, plus sign, go to your user account, control + A, deselect desktop
start the back up. -

playing music videos simultaneously would imply you trying to play more then 1 at once, this is not something it support out of the box I'd say.
then there is the 2 apps, are you refearing to apps which should let play many music videos at once?
and do they freeze when you try to download them, or when you try to start them,
and maybe the name of the apps, in question would make it easier for people to help.
