Remotely activating an application with an email?

Question

What it says on the label. Is there a way to tell applescript to activate a program when my inbox gets an email from a specific address?
I'm trying to find a way to start an applescript program remotely, from a droid phone. Any ideas? I'm pretty new to programming, any help is much appreciated.

Here's an AppleScript you can use. Just change "TextEdit" to whatever app you need to open.
using terms from application "Mail"
          on perform mail action with messages theMessages for rule theRule
                    tell application "Mail"
                              repeat with eachMessage in theMessages
  activate application "TextEdit"
                              end repeat
                    end tell
          end perform mail action with messages

You can still have Mail perform more actions (you're unclear as to what those are. My guess: deleting the message? If so, just set the rule to Run AppleScript—make sure that script is saved in your ~/Library/Application Scripts/com.apple.mail/ folder—and then set it to also delete the message).
If you need the AppleScript itself to perform more actions, just include them after "end tell".
