Hi Praveen,
Maybe you can try it with &field(.0)& ,
But it is possible that it is concerning a field which formatting is customized with transaction CUNI.
Hope this will help.

  • Remove Decimals in Smartform not working

    Hi,
    I use
    &struc-field(C)&
to hide decimals in a SF.
The type of this field is LGMNG.
This code works for all instances, except when the UOM is type ROL (Role). I have put a break-point in the SF just before the value is output and they are identical.
But the output would be, for example say five units:
    a) 5 SH (Correct)
    b) 5,000 ROL (incorrect)
    Anyone seen this before?
    Thanks.

    Nick,
thanks for the reply. I tried both of these already:
    &struc-field(.0)&
    &struc-field(C.0)&
And, for both, I am told at runtime that (.0) is not a correct "formatting option for the field struc-field".
I'm going to put a code block in to convert to an integer and display that. It will work - I just thought that (C) or (.0) would work too?
    Thanks.

  • How to increase the decimals in RPD for some field?

    Hello gurus,
We have 1 filed in DW name as "EXCHANGE_RATE" when i query it DW it's showing me values with 4 decimal points.
and same column when i m using in OBIEE frontend, it's giving me values with 2 decimals.
So how to increase the decimals for that field in RPD?
    we have 10.1.3.4.1 version.
    Thanking You.

    Hello Svee,
Thanks for ur help, But I found one different way that will make change only to that particular filed.
Bcz if I will change the database properties that will change the configuration globally to all the fields.
So what I did is, I went to column properties and change the Data Format to 4 decimals and saved it as System-wide default for that field.
So, the change that i want will be their only for that filed...
Though I really appreciate ur help.
    Thanking you.

    Iam  printing  amount as 1234.00000.
But i have to print two zeros after decimal point..how can i remove zeros .
    appricioate for u r answers..
    regards,

    You may use the option
    field(.0) for printing the quantity
    field(.2) for printing the amount..
Go through SAP help given below..
    <b>Number of Decimal Places
A program symbol of one of the data types DEC, QUAN, and FLTP can contain decimal place data. Use the option below to override the Dictionary definition for the number of decimal places for the formatting of this symbol value.
    Syntax
    &symbol(.N)&
The EKPO-MENGE field contains the value 1234.56. The Dictionary definition specifies 3 decimal places and an output length of 17.
    &EKPO-MENGE& -> 1,234.560
    &EKPO-MENGE(.1) -> 1,234.6
    &EKPO-MENGE&(.4) -> 1,234.5600
    &EKPO-MENGE&(.0) -> 1,235</b>

  • How to avoid zeros in output for a field with Decimal type

    Hi Friends
In a  Report one output field is declared with decimal type.
Whenver that field is not filled with any values zeros will be displayed in the output.
I tried to change the data type to char but i am facing some issues in calculations and shwoing only 2 decimal places.
So is there any way to hide the zeros in the output if we the field is not filled with any value.

    Hi Sandeep,
If required field type is declared as type p decimals 2 , if for that field in internal table there is no value  - then automatically output will get display in ALV as 0.00.
To remove 0.00 in the output screen and to be displayed in blank then in the field catalogue add wa_fieldcat-no_zero = 'X'. in that particular field. then if no value for that field then it will display space in the output.
    wa_fieldcat-fieldname   = 'ZQUAN'.
      wa_fieldcat-seltext_l   = 'Quantity'.
      wa_fieldcat-outputlen  = '13'.
      wa_fieldcat-no_out      = ' '.
    wa_fieldcat-no_zero    = 'X'.  wa_fieldcat-hotspot     = ' '.
      wa_fieldcat-key            = ' '.
      wa_fieldcat-do_sum      = 'X'.
      wa_fieldcat-qfieldname  = ' '.
      wa_fieldcat-ref_tabname = ' '.
      wa_fieldcat-just                = ' '.

The rest needs to be untouched
    Thanks for the help

    Hi,
create in the transformations area of BI an abap routine. You can use in this routine the replace keyword.
An example of how replace works is the following:
    DATA: text1 TYPE string, text2(18) TYPE c,
    text1 = text2 = '123&21'.
REPLACE ALL OCCURRENCES OF '&' IN:
            text1 WITH '' .
    write:/ text1.
    write:/ text2.
    Kind regards,

  • Removing standard operators for a field in Advanced search

    Hi,
    JDev 11.1.1.3.
In ADF application, we need to remove few standard operators from the list for a field in Advanced search. For this we have followed the below oracle documentation:
    http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E14571_01/web.1111/b31974/web_search_bc.htm#ADFFD2457
27.3.3 How to Create Custom Operators or Remove Standard Operators
As specified in the doc, we have added the below "CompOper" tag to VO.xml. We have to remove all the operators present in the list except the "Equal to". But the issue is, using below code the "Not between" and "contains" operators are deleted from list, but "Not equl to" is still getting displayed. We have also tried "Doesnotequal". I have tried the oper string with spaces, without spaces, spaces replaced by underscore.
Can some one please provide the exact String to be passed in oper attribute of CompOper for all operators?

    <CompOper Name="Category" ToDo="-1" Oper="CONTAINS"/>
    </ViewCriteriaItem>
    Thanks,
    Manasa Tadi

I am not able to find the list for the entire set of operators, but you could follow a simple technique to identify the exact operator to be used:
In the View Criteria editor, for any of the attribute, modify the operator to any desired value, this would update the *VO.xml,
use the same operator, if you want to hide it in advanced mode - as you have done earlier.

  • Datasource for master data attributes : QUAN fields ?

    Hi,
In the datasources for master data attributes (in R3), fields type QUAN are in the extraction structure but not in the datasource (for example field LFMNG is in extraction structure BIW_MVKE_S but is not in the datasource 0MAT_SALES_ATTR).
Is there a standard way to have these fields type QUAN in master data attributes ?
Otherwise I think to this solution :
=> add a field ZZLFMNG type DEC (DEC fields are in the datasource for master data attributes) in a structure append of BIW_MVKE_S
=> in the user-exit for master data attributes : move the value of LFMNG to ZZLFMNG
=> in the infosource in BW  : assign an infoobject type QUAN to the field ZZLFMNG
What do you think of it ?
    Thanks in advance.

    Hello,
I'm adding this field LFMNG too, but after I update the roosfield table an error occurs in RSA6.
This error said that the MEINS field is hide in the DataSource. But we there isn't this field there. Someone knows what should I do?
    Thanks!
    Eduardo

  • What's a good way to handle this conversion to a QUAN field?

    Good day everyone,
I developed an RFC that receives data from XI.  I assign this data to a BAPI, and one of the fields is a field with a data type of QUAN(length 13, decimals 3).  All works fine if XI passes me a numeric value in this field.
Here's the problem:  In running some test cases through XI and into the RFC, we ran a test case where the quantity field had a value of "test" (e.g. no numeric value).  Incredibly, XI transforms the text value of "test" into the value of 4534 and sends it to my RFC.  So my RFC thinks everything's fine when, in fact, that number was derived from a text field and is completely wrong.
What we need to do is change the field to something that will "kick out" in XI when it tries to call my RFC.  I thought I could change it to a type of NUMC, but that doesn't let me use decimals.  We've already sent out the file layout to vendors, so we expect them to include numeric values with decimal places if need be.
Is my best bet changing this to a character field with a length of 17, then checking to make sure it consists only of 0-9, a space, or a decimal?  I then need to assign it to the BAPI's field with the data type of QUAN(13,3) -- am I going to have issues trying to do this from a character field?  Do I need to worry whether or not they include a decimal (it might be implied -- in other words, they might just say quantity is "20" which becomes "20.000" to the BAPI).  Is there a nifty routine I can use to do all this easily?
Thanks everyone.  Points awarded as always for ALL helpful answers.

Ravi, that's kinda what I was thinking, but if it's true (i.e. a proper amount) can I just move the contents directly to my QUAN field?  Will SAP automatically do the conversion for me such that it ends up in the right place?  I've yet to have to worry about such conversions -- this is the first time I've had to deal with it -- and I want to make sure that the right value gets assigned, whether that value is "20", "54.1", "1000.25", or "986.500".

  • To Remove zeroes after decimal in screen field

I need to remove the zeroes after a decimal like for a field of the type VBAP-KWMENG the is shown as 200.000 i need to show it as 200.I have to display this value inside a Table Control.

    hi,
you can user "write to" statement with formating option.
    In your case,
    write  VBAP-KWMENG to l_var1 DECIMALS 0.
so you will get l_var1 without any decimals and now you can populate this variable in your control.
Please reward points if you find it useful.
    Regards,
    Jigs.

  • ALV Report displays space instead of '0.00' for qty field. why?

    Hello friends,
I am facing a problem to display 0 value for the field
field - ZZQTY (Predefined Type at Domain level)
         QUAN 21,2
In the program I am clearing the field and I can see its value as 0.00 while debugging.
As soon as field ZZQTY is displayed on ALV, it becomes blank (Space).
My requirement is to display '0.00' on ALV report.
    What should I do?
    Regards,
    Ronny Hanks

    Hello
    Search for
    LS_FIELDCAT-NO_ZERO = 'X'.
for this field in programm and comment this.

  • How to remove Decimals in Quantity Objects in SAP BO Explorer View created on top SAP Bex Query?

    Hi,
I created SAP BO Explorer report on top of SAP BEx Query.
In SAP BEx Query, Decimals were hided but when i created OLAP Universe on top that SAP BEx Query and Created Index on top of Information Space in SAP BO Explorer and then created Exploration Views. But i'm getting Decimals in my Exploration Views where as SAP BEx Query in RSRT, no decimals were appearing.
Can anyone suggest me how to remove decimals in SAP BO Exploration Views.

    Hi Ramana,
I am not use how you connect to SAP BEx query (Via universe or BWA or HANA)
What I could say is BWA and HANA, you cannot adjust this
For universe, you could try in universe layer, there is note about this
For BWA and HANA, this function might be enhanced but you 'd better raise OSS to SAP to check with them
    Best regards
