Removing buttons from standard UWL tracking tab
Hi,
I have got a requirement to remove the delete button in the Tracking tab iView.Once you select a worklist item, there are two options.One is to launch the item type or to delete it.I would like to remove the "Delete" button.
Can you please help me in this regard?

Remove button from Ribbon in a specific toolbar

I have created a custom list using feature. the list contains 7 content types inheriting from another custom content type. I have set the toolbar type for different views to "None".
I want to remove the attach file option from Actions group in Ribbon. I tried the solution given in

I tried to reproduced your issue like this: Create a custom Item Content Type, apply it to a custom list. Then I create a custom action for this custom Content Type with the
code you provided.
The outcome is: When I set the Toolbar Type as “Full Toolbar” or “Show Toolbar”, the “Attach File” button disappear as expected, when I set the Toolbar Type as “Summary Toolbar”
or “No Toolbar”, the “Attach File” button appears again.
Anyway, I will try to work on it or involve someone familiar with this topic to further look at this issue.

Could anyone tell me how to get information about an EBP PO status in the tracking tab of the Portal's UWL?
The tracking tab does get populated when a Leave Request is sent through the approval workflow.
However, none of the approved, rejected or completed workflows are reported in the tracking tab.
Your help will be greatly appreciated and suitably rewarded.

VibhuI have a similar issue. If a user starts a workflow, then it appears in the tracking tab of the UWL however, if a user just executes i.e. approves/rejects a workflow then nothing shows up in the tracking tab.
My finding was that the tracking tab in UWL points to OUTBOX in R/3. Whenever, a user starts a workflow, it gets populated in OUTBOX as well as the subfolder WORKFLOWS STARTED BY ME therefore it shows up in the UWL tracking tab. But when a user just executes the workitem, then it only gets populated in the subfolder - WORKITEMS EXECUTED BY ME. The OUTBOX is blank and hence UWL is also blank.
Now in my personal office settings, I do have the COPY TO OUTBOX checkbox checked. So, not sure whats the way out here..Any help will be appreciated.. -

Go to CAD Admin web page
Services Configuration-> Remove VoIP/Recording & Playback Services
Make sure that there are no IP addresses of any servers in the Recording & Playback Service menu. If there are some, select them and press ‘Remove’ button to remove them.
Please make sure that you close CSD, CAD completely and login back to see the changes. I haven’t tried this before but I think this would disable the recording buttons in CSD. I don’t know whether it needs CAD services restarts(all).

I would like to remove some buttons from the button group, but so far the only way I can do this is to go in the XHTML and remove the code segments from there. Surely I should be able to do this from the layout view?

The actionContent is setup like that, I know like with most mxml stuff I could give it an ID to reference it but im not sure how how to give the action content an id number `<s:actionContent id="testID">` does not work. MehmetThe simple method to do this is the following:
Enhance the component BP_HEAD_SEARCH
Enhance the view BP_HEAD_SEARCH/MainSearchResult
Now you will need to redefine the method
DO_PREPARE_OUTPUT in the class CL_BP_HEAD__MAINSEARCHRES_IMPL. If you look at the existing code they define the buttons that are display via appending entries into a "button" table. You need to delete the button from the gt_button table.
Your method redefined would look like:
CALL METHOD super->do_prepare_output.
if gt_button[] is not initial.
delete gt_button where on_click eq 'CREATEIND'.
delete gt_button where on_click eq 'CREATEGROUP'.

UtpalOne option as suggested is giving credit memo. But I understand that you are facing a limitation for the same.
The alternative solution could be to pass an FI JV (This will be dobe by FI person).
Normally such cases will be very few. In that case FI JV is the best solution. If this is repetitive at short intervals, then it is recommended that you configure a separate Credit Memo Type for the same & have a separate pricing procedure in which all condition are manual condition, so that the pricing procedure can be used flexibily. Ofcourse all related configuration for same will be required, which is assumed to be known.

2. Is it possible in SAP Records Management dowload(serialize) and upload records to ORGANIZER/SCASE? (download/upload, that is, per se, copying.)
Pragya-not in SCASE or ORGANIZER but in SCASEPS it is possible
3. When I implemented the circulars in ORGANZER, I observed that the method COMPLETED from BUS SDISPOSITN does not start automatically. I can start it using transaction SWUE manually but it won't good... Maybe this can be done in the Status Profile,
but I didn't manage because BUS RECORD is only started in Status Profile.
Pragya- This cant be done via status profile in Record directly. What you can try though, is to raise an event for record say CLOSED...register a listener in SWETYPV & raise COMPLETED in that listener (could be a function module).

Remove the view detail button from the UWL
After migrating from Ep 6 to EP 7 and importing the same standard launchhandling config for ESS and MSS in the UWL, a "View detail" button appears in the EP7 UWL for each workitem.
Does anyone know how to remove or disable this "View detail" button?
(When an end users clicks this button he can click to go to the SAP gui and to other functionlaity we don't want to offer.)The item type config and uwl standard views are allready both configured towards our needs. We have experience in changing this config and tried to change it in order to remove the button. But there is no option for removing the "view detail" button, in this config. At least we didn't find it. Also in the help documentation from SAP about UWL (http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/39/a1bb5c4c0d4ab4a417e87ef35f1efa/frameset.htm) there is nothing to be found on the View Detail button.
We just don't want our users to see all the details from the workitem.
When this button is displayed users are also able to go to the SAP gui and this is highly undesired. Users should only approve / reject leave.
When the iview is displayed in the "normal mode" (not in the webdynpro mode) this button is no where to be found either. But in this mode the workitems cannot be started. It just opens a new portal page and not the ITS workitem. -
How to remove buttons from a selection-screen as window.

I'm using CALL SELECTION-SCREEN 100 STARTING AT 10 10 to call a previously created selection-screen. The window shows 4 buttons: Execute, Check input, Save as variant and Cancel. The user is asking to remove the Check input and Save as variant buttons. Is that possible? I've been searching and I can't find a way to remove those 2 buttons.
