Repeat the code with each instance

I have a subform with few text fields. one of the textfields has a code written in the exit event. The code executes fine for the instance already created. But if I add another instance of the same subform the exit event is not fired this time.
Do I need to call the exit event in a loop so that it fires every time in the new instance. More importantly HOW? as I have no idea.
please help.
Thanks

Sorry about that. I have a subform(Let's Say SF1) that has two radio buttons. selecting one radio button, shows a field (not using presence but using addInstance), while selecting the other radio button the field is removed.
Now I have an add button that adds another instance of the subform SF1. So i see those radio buttons again and now if i choose the radio button, the field does not appear or disappear.
I created a function and paas the object of Radio Button ('this') and use if-else statement to show/hide the field. it works great the frist timee but not when a new instance is added.
I have no idea as to how to correct this.
Thanks in advance!!

    How do I repeat the artist with the new version of itunes?

    Use the controls menu or right-click on the shuffle widget for options. Options are to repeat one, all or off. Use the column browser, artists view or search box to limit the display and then use repeat all.

  • Repeat an action (based on different trigger) efficiently without repeating the code

    Hello,
    I'm trying to find an efficient and clean way to do an action tha can be triggered by different things without having to repeat the piece of code itself at various places in my VI (after the said trigger things).
    An example (because my explanation is pretty clumsy):
    - The "action" (piece of code) is reading a file displaying the results (tiny more complicated than that but that shows the idea)
    - I want that action to happen when for example I save data in the file, open an existing file or press a button
    - Right now Im using the same piece of code at each places (when I write in the file, open existing file and press the button) using local variables
    I'm trying to find a more efficient way to do that, so I can write the code only once.
    FYI the whole thing is in a big while loop. The VI Im working on is pretty huge and complex so It doesnt really make sense to share it.
    Hope my question is clear. Thanks !

  • I have an itunes card i scratched off the code with the silver tag how do i get my money back

    I have a itunes top up card which has a scratch of bit on the back.
    scratched it of and the code has come of with it how do I get my money on my iPod now ?

    Whatever you read about iTunes is wrong unless you're actually referring to feature movies, not videos. Videos, apps, music and iBooks you can re-download:
    http://support.apple.com/kb/ht2519
    Download to your computer and then sync to your iPod touch whatever will fit.
    And no, I can't say with certainty that they won't give you a refund, but it's unlikely. The most probable outcome, if you do indeed mean movies, not TV shows or other videos, is that they would set up an additional download. For other content they'll probably just direct you to the same instructions on re-downloading I just posted.

  • Rebooting the server with ASM instance............

    Hi folks
    I have to go for reboot of the server as I am adding a RAW device for having one more mount and also will be adding a disk to disk group.
    1) alter diskgroup diskgroupname add disk '/u09'; Is this correct to add a new disk to the diskgroup of ASM instance?
    2) I will have to shutdown all the six instances within the ASM instance and shutdown the ASM instance? Is this correct
    After a successfull Rebbot is done
    3) I will have to startup the ASM instance first and one by one startup the other six instances? Is it the right sequence.
    Please reply at the earliest.
    Thanks
    Shiva

    Hi
    If you want to shutdown the server to add the RAW device then:
    1. Shutdown all instances but shutdown ASM instance in the end.
    2. Shutdown server and add the RAW device.
    3. Startup server
    4 Add the diskgruop and also you can increase the value of rebalance parameter.
    5. Start all the instances that are using this ASM instance.
    Hope this Help

  • HT201210 Is anyone else having to constantly install and reinstall iTunes, and restore the iPod with each Synch?  THis is totally ludicrous.

    It seems that every time I synch my iPod, I have no music.  Then, when I go to synch again, it tells me it needs to restore the iPod!!  It's the software's fault, I think.  Windows 8 and iTunes do not seem to be very compatible and I don't have a choice in terms of what iPod and what computer I'm using.  I just want the thing to work.  Thank you.

    Some other users has reported the same there may be a but in iOS 8 or iTunes.
    Have you tried:
    - Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
    Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
    least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
    - Unsync/delete all music and resync
    To delete all music go to Settings>General>Usage>Storage>Manage Storage>Music>Tap edit in upper right and then tap the minus sign by All Music
    - Reset all settings
    Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.
    All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.
    - Restore from backup. See:
    iOS: Back up and restore your iOS device with iCloud or iTunes
    - Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.

  • Can anybody tell me the problem with this code when compiled in jdk1.4

    Can anybody help me find out the error in this code.
    Try to drag a file from your desktop and drop it on the first textpane on my GUI. Then try to drag another file. This time the dragdrop event handler throws a null pointer exception. This happened when I compiled the code with jdk1.4. With jdk1.3 it is working fine. Actually, I need jdk1.4 to get the systemicons for the files I drop on my desktop.

  • Trying to understand the code???

    Hi,
    I am trying to understand the following bit of code, currently the code puts each catalogue into a different row of the table but i want each catalogue to be put in the next column
    (so the catalogues appear across the page on the actual web page). The following code is for the page in question but im not sure how much is relevant so i will paste it all and highlight the section i think is relevant:

    thank you for your help

    You've probably already seen these, but here are a couple of links that may help.
    http://help.adobe.com/en_US/FlashPlatform//reference/actionscript/3/operators.html#array_a ccess
    http://www.adobe.com/livedocs/flash/9.0/ActionScriptLangRefV3/Array.html
    What's basically happening is that the "for" loop goes through each item in the array.  Don't be confused by the fact that two of the items in the array are Strings and one is an Integer - variable i being a String has nothing to do with the data type of the elements in the array.
    The following code:
    private function createLabels():void
         var myArray:Array = ['one', 'two', 3];
         for(var i:String in myArray)
              trace("i = " + i);
              trace(myArray[i]);
    gives the following results:
    i = 0
    one
    i = 1
    two
    i = 2
    3
    From that we can see that the "for" loop is assigning the index number of each array element, not the actual array element ('one', 'two', or 3) to the variable i.  So calling myArray[i] is the same as calling myArray[0] the first time through the loop.  This type of "for" loop is just a shorter way of doing the following, which produces exactly the same results:
    private function createLabels():void
         var myArray:Array = ['one', 'two', 3];
         for(var i:int = 0; n < myArray.length; i++)
              trace("i = " + i);
              trace(myArray[i]);
    Hope that helps.
    Cheers!

  • How can I change the color of the font with the Property Inspector?

    In Dreamweaver CS6, can one change the font color with the property inspector?  How?
    I don't know if I will automatically be notified when someone responds, and I don't want to be running back to this site every day to check.  So if you have an answer for me, would you be kind enough to email me at [email protected]?  Many thanks.

    "Upgrade" and "improvement" are rarely synonymous.

    There is still a font color button in DW. In the Properties window, click the CSS button in the lower left when you have text selected. There is a little gray square with a tiny black arrow in the corner for font colors. It still uses css, but will muddy up your text with inline styles which isn't generally the best way to do things.
    One of the biggest advantages to using css is the ability to put all of your styles in one external .css file. That allows you to make a single change, to a color setting for instance, and have that change affect your entire site (everything you put a given css class on). As it stands, using the old html font-color attribute, or inline css forces you to go through the code with a fine tooth comb and change each individual setting.
    CSS is a massive upgrade and improvement over the old method.
    I would definitely suggest getting familiar with css, it really is required for any kind of modern website and ends up making your life much much easier while using the CSS Designer window in DW (which is where a lot of this stuff takes place now in a Design View development approach)...
    http://w3schools.com/css is a good place to start.

  • Sql server with multiple instance

    hi  All,
    i want  to  install sql server with two instance   and i want  to assign two  separate is  ips   for  both   default instance  and named  instance   and  both   should  work like
    two different server
    note:  If i  logged  with  one  ip(default instance)   it should  show  its  own  databases  not both or  named   instance  databases
    thanks
     chintala

    Hi chintala,
    According to your description, if you want to assign the two different IP to stand for default instance
    and named  instance, I recommend you set up aliases on a SQL Server with multiple instances. For example, a physical server is named WinServer and 2 instances of SQL Server named WinServer and WinServer\instance1.
    We need to add 1 IP addresse to the WinServer, there is one IP address already assigned to WinServer, 192.168.1.1, by adding one new IP's, 192.168.1.2 .
    We need to move into DNS to configure our host names and aliases.  The physical machine must be steup as a static IP in DNS. SQLAlias1, which point to the default instance on WinServer, will be setup as a DNS with an address of 192.168.1.1.
    SQLAlias2, which will point to WinServer\Instance1, will be setup as a new Host (A) record in DNS with an address of 192.168.1.2.
    When everything has been completed on the DNS side, you need to open up SQL Server Configuration Manager on WinServer and configure the protocols for each instance one at a time, restart the 3 SQL services.
    For more information about how to set up aliases on a SQL Server with multiple instances, you can review the similar article.

  • How Can I organize code with frames ?

    Hello everyone,
    I try to make a very simple game but I have a question. Would you give me a hand, please ?  I'm not a native English speaker, so I hope you get my question
    My game consists of many levels ( a level on each frame ). Each level ( or each frame ) consists of white walls, a green ball, a colorful star, and a yellow key... as you can see in the picture. The green ball should move between the walls without hitting them, and It must hit the key to collect it. When the key is collected, a wall will disappear so that the ball can reach the star, then a player wins. When the ball hits any one of these walls a game over message will appear.
    Each frame has different number of walls and each wall is a movie clip on the main stage. The walls are not inside a container or something like that. The instance names of the walls are wall1 , wall2 , wall3 ... and so on.
    I also have a layer for action script and I wrote the following code:
    if (player.hitTestObject(wall1) || player.hitTestObject(wall2) || player.hitTestObject(wall3) || player.hitTestObject(wall4) )
      trace ( "second try" ) ;
      gameOver.visible = true ;
      doThisFn = false ;
    It works for the frames that Has wall1 , wall2 , wall3 and wall4.
    If wall4 (for example) doesn't exist on frame 3 (for example),  an error occurs saing : " #2007: Parameter hitTestObject must be non-null. "
    My question is, How to organize the action script layer and the frames so that the error doesn't occur ?
    I thought of an Idea which is to make a copy of wall4 on layer 3, and I will put wall4 in a place where the user will not see it. I don't think this is a good solution.
    I had another Idea, I will make many keyframes ( by pressing F6 ) on the action script layer. and I will modify the code of each keyframe so that the walls that are in IF statement will mach the walls on each frame. but this will take a lot of effort !!
    Would you suggest a smarter solution, please ? such as a For loop or an array.. I don't know how ?
    Thanks in advance,

    //you can initialize an array, eg,
    var wallA:Array=[];
    //reset it on each frame, eg,
    wallA.length=0;
    //populate it on each frame eg,
    for(var i:int=0;i<1000;i++){
    if(this['wall'+i]){
    wallA.push(this['wall'+i]);
    // and then use that array in your hittests, eg
    function wallHitTestF():Boolean{
    for(i=0;i<wallA.length;i++){

  • TS4139 I had 2 MobileMe email addresses, but only went thru ICloud process with one (my main address). Now the secondary address is not working with iCloud. Did I have to go thru the process with both addresses? Can I get that address back?

    I had 2 MobileMe email addresses, but only went thru iCloud process with one (my main address). Now the secondary address is not working with iCloud. Did I have to go thru the process with each address? Can I still get that secondary address to work with iCloud?

    It was totally separate. I just now went back to a previous email from Apple to that secondary address which urged me to transition to iCloud. I followed the link and it prompted me thru the process and the address is now able to send/receive emails. Thanks.

  • How to find out where a table is used in the code ?

    I have a huge database, and I am adding a column to a table...
    is there a query to find out if this would impact the code ? I mean I want to find all the places in the code with
    insert into mytable, or update mytable.....
    how to include both insert into mytable, and update mytable in dba_source ?

    Use DBA_DEPENDENCIES:
    select owner,name,type from dba_dependencies where referenced_name = 'TABLE_NAME'
    and referenced_owner = 'TABLE_OWNER';For example:
    SQL> select owner,name,type from dba_dependencies where referenced_name = 'EMP'
      2  and referenced_owner = 'SCOTT';
    OWNER                          NAME                           TYPE
    PUBLIC                         TABLE1                         SYNONYM
    SCOTT                          SELECT_EMP                     PROCEDURE
    SCOTT                          EMP_DEPT_VW                    VIEW
    SCOTT                          PP                             SYNONYM
    SCOTT                          EMP_MV                         MATERIALIZED VIEW
    SCOTT                          EMP_VIEW                       VIEW
    6 rows selected.
    SQL> However, keep in mind DBA_DEPENDENCIES stores statis references only. If your code references table in question in dynamic SQL you will have to parse DBA_SOURCE and in some cases, even that will not give you all answers.

  • Stick Show/Hide Dock Status with each Space ?

    Hi,
    I'd like to save the Show/Hide status of the Dock with each and every Space, so that for example I can always see the Dock on Space 1 where I have my Mail, iChat, iCal and other apps which use their Dock icons to notify me of new events, but I never want to see it on Space 3 or 4 where I only have Aperture or Logic on my entire screen.
    Then I wouldn't have to press commandoptionD to show or hide the Dock each time after switching to a different Space.
    Is that somehow possible ?
    Thanks !

    Come on Apple - WHEN are you going to support HDV 25P capture for those of us working in PAL. Then it would be easier to shoot and edit in HDV and down-res to SD-PAL without any frame rate conversion issues. The Lumiere HD thing just isnt good enough
