Do we have any kind of report that we can run everyday which shows us how many purchase requisitions were created and approved successfully that day . And also how many errored out and what the error was.

you can go to ME5a. go to dynamic selection> give requisition date as todays date and execute. it will give all PR created on that day.
and the relaese status. change the layout accordingly. you can give multiple values also for the PR creation date.
second part is not clear " how many errored out and what is the error. if any error occurs during PR creation , the PR requisition will not get saved.

Custom report for Workflow approval status
Hi Friends,
For one of my custom workflow the client needs a custom report to know the approval status. This custom workflow will be a multilevel approval and they want to know the status based on the object key(document number) like who has approved it at what time, who else has to approve etc which standard workflow tables can be used for this? Please advice.>

I have checked this FM SWW_WI_CONTAINER_READ but iam not clear how to retrieve the data from this FM

The Input for the FM SWW_WI_CONTAINER_READ is Work item ID.
Pass your Workitem ID to this FM. It will give you all your Workflow container data's in Element-Value format.
Just loop it and get the required data's.

Upgrade from 11i to R12 - Custom Forms,Reports and Workflows
Dear Community Friends,
We are planning for upgrade from oracle apps 11.5.10.2 to R12.
We have custom Forms,Form Libraries,Reports and Workflows.
Kindly provide me for approach on how to migrate Custom form libraries,reports and Workflows.
I beleive, this thread will exists as one shot point for custom forms,reports,workflow upgradation from 11i to r12 with detailed steps.
I know that many links exists here in the forum for all the above objects mentioned,but still from all those i am able to get a clear picture for oracle forms but not for custom form libraries ,reports and workflows.

Per my understanding, after searching in many threads,i am here by summarising the practical low level steps for custom forms migration
Please correct me,if i am wrong.
1) Download the Forms(.fmb's) and all PLL's(all the PLL from resource folder in AU_TOP) into a Local Machine Folder
2) Open the forms using Forms Developer 10G and connect to DB
3) Compile by clicking compilein Forms Developer and then save it.
4) Upload the Saved Forms(.fmb's) into the new R12 server(system) in the respective custom paths(paths similar to 11i Server)
5) Compile all the forms using the command like below(example command is shown below or f60 gen commands or frmcmp.sh utility) in the respective custom form paths,
this will generate the .fmx's.

As for reports,some says that Developer Suite 10g can be used and .rdf can be used in R12.
Some says that reports should be converted to XML published as reports does not exists in R12.
So,i am not clear on this.

So,i am not clear on this.You can still use RDF files in R12, and just follow the approach you mentioned above, and you do not have to migrate them to XML publisher (though it is recommended, but this can be done after the upgrade as an enhancement task).
For custom workflow, you need also to do the same thing, open them using workflow builder and make sure they work in R12 (correct the code if required and save them again in R12 once they work properly).

Siebel & "BIP Report Generation" Workflow and Bookmark Syntax
IHAC that wants to schedule the generation of a BIP report to run every weeknight and include a list of activities for the next day. We've utilized an OOTB IO and can successfully render the report using Sample XML in MS Word. Additionally, since they are only on 8.1.1, they do not currently have access to the latest scheduling capabilities. Therefore, we're trying to implement a repeating component to call a workflow to generate the report using the 'BIP Report Generation' workflow and the associated objects (from support posting 823360.1).
Now to the questions:
One of the parameters for the workflow is a 'Bookmark'. This parameter does not appear to handle various 'Siebel' querying functions like 'Today()' as part of the criteria. Can someone confirm this statement?
Currently, I can imagine one high-level possible workarounds. This would entail a revised WF and that includes a prior step to generate the 'Bookmark' by retrieving a string representation of tomorrow's date and concatenating it with the rest of the criteria.
Next question:
Does anyone have any other possible alternatives? Maybe a calculated field in the BC/IC for 'Today() + 1' - but this could have performance implications.

Crystal Report For Eclipse: POJO problem
Hi all,
I am using crystal report for eclipse basic version and used POJO-method to implement for users to viewing my report.
I did the following:
I created a sql page (create a target table) and import into crystal report (through crystal report designer under eclipse environment) E.g. let's say I created a table with 10 fields and imported into the crystal report.
Then I drag and drop through crystal report for my report design.
Later if I need to add one more field .....
I need to modified my SQL page and re-import the sql page into my crystal report. HOWEVER, through this re-import process, I lost all the detail/information on the existing report (that mean I need to re-design my report through the designer under eclipse environmet).
My question is: Is there any better way for me to implement my report ???

THANKSIn the sceario you have described (using a SQLPage as the datasource for the report), unfortunately, this is a limitation of the workflow. If you need to change the SQL, then you essentially need to remove and re-add it to the report which means replacing all the fields on the report.
Instead, I would recommend using a class as the report's datasource. The class would represent the fields that would be used in your POJO object. This way if you need to modify the fields in the POJO, you can simply update the class and use the Verify Database to update the report.

How to build a Report from workflow information
Hi Friends,
I want to create a sales order approval and rejection steps using workflow. For this I have created User Decision Step where I have included approval and rejection decisions. And it is working fine. But the thing is that user wants a report for later analyis by giving sales order info. in selection and in output he need SO number,creation date, approver name, how many times he rejected, rejection date, approval date etc. How to achieve this? Is there any standard report programs available to get this type of info? kindly assist me.

Document not reported for approval
I have an urgent issue related to workflow, it is like a lot of document that should report for approval, has not been reported since many days. Now when i am checking the log of the documents it is showing a SWW_WI_ERROR_MESSAGE_SEND_S in technical details of the agent list.
Can any one help me for the same?> And this is the step in WF-Batch.

I assume you have chekced most of the obvious things, such as the document referred in the workflow actually existing.
Surely the workflow must be triggering when this problem can be found in the workflow log. What exactly do you mean by that statement - do all the workflows fail early in the process - perhaps even before the first step is created?
What should the step that fails do? I assume the failure occurs in a customer-developed BOR object type, so please give a bit more information about where the problem occurs. -

Running Scheduled Crystal Reports for Multiple Customers!
Hi,
We are trying to accomplish what we felt was a very common practice with reports.
We have CR 2011, CR 2011 Enterprise, CR Server 2011.
What we are trying to accomplish is very simple.
Currently, I have a prompt in my report that prompts me with a dynamic list based on a small sql statement my report, it provides a list of individual customer and their id's. It takes that ID , puts it into another SQL statement in the command and generates just that customers data. it works perfectly!
What we are trying to do is use crystal server 2011 to take that report in question, schedule it, and have it run for each of the dynamic customer id's that I previously used when it prompted the screen.
The reports cannot use multiple values as we only want each customer data to be included in the report.
We need to have the scheduler run this report for our 10 different customer idu2019s and send it to their individual email addresses at a scheduled time each day.
Is this possible? This has to be a very common request of reporting tools.
If SAP software cannot do it, is there a 3rd party software that will allow our reports to be ran in the way I am wanting?Hi Rsheppick,
Within CR Server you can use the publication functionality to create a publication and schedule this to external customers - for this you would have to use a dynanic recipient list to map the customers email id's to a field in the source report.
The workflow is described in the online Publication document, accessible at the SAP Support site.

If thinking logically, then there is no report for the same..this may be because you enter the qty or value limits in the contract doc itself....So, when you make the PO for the same, and if the qty or value exceeds the system automatically provides the message..stating that the qty or value has exceeded....
So, there is no report for the same...

also try S_ALR_87013558 report & go to line item report for detail actuals(& you have to change the layout accordingly) & commitment.

Simulair report for FBL5N and FBL1N for new general ledger on segment level
We are working with segments in new G/L ledger. We want to run a open item report where we can combine customers and vendors by segment. The vendors and customers are linked in the master data. In the "old" reports FBL5N and FBL1N you can do this but not by segment.I found the following report on segment level:
- S_PCO_36000218 - Receivables: Segment
- S_PCO_36000219 - Payables: Segment
What I'm missing is to run 1 report for Customers and vendors. What I'm missing to is that there are only some fields available on line item level. (I like to have invoice number, documentype,.......)
Is there a standard report for this in new genaral leger?
Is it possible to ad additional field to th list viewer.What is this user license type? All financial transactions need professional license.
