Report: GR Qty, IR Qty for Month (Dates Wise).
Hi All,
Where can I found Goods Receipt Quantity, Invoice Receipt Quantity for a Particular Period (Dates).
MB5S is not coming as per dates.
Is there any other report which will meet the above requirement ?
Thanks & Regards,
Anand.
Dear, Use ME80FN and in Change View use Purchase Order History. Both GR & IR appears here.
Sort it out as per your parameters.
If it helps, Kindly give points.

How to create a ABAP report off of SRM box for live data?
Thanks in advance.
York.you can try infoset query:
STEP - A:
1. Go to T Code RSQ02 and give the InfoSet name & select CREATE.
2. Provide the Name(Description) and Data Source i.e. for eg here i take "DIRECT READ OF TABLE" = /BIC/AODS100. Then CONTINUE.
3. Select what to Include in the 3 options available with the POPUP, here "INCLUDE ALL TABLE FIELDS". Then Check the fields and click GENERATE(one RED and WHITE round icon).
4. Now provide the PACKAGE for the INFOSET. Come Back(F3).
STEP - B: optional(If u want to create a new user group)
1. Select ENVIRONMENT -> USER GROUPS. Provide the User Group name and CREATE.
2. Provide Description and SAVE.
3. Provide PACKAGE and SAVE. Come Back (F3) to the Initial Screen.
4. Click Role/User Group Assignment. Select Newly Created User Group or an existing one. Then SAVE (CTRL + S). F3.
STEP - C:
1. Select ENVIRONMENT -> Queries. Provide the query name and CREATE.
2. Select the INFOSET u have created and assigned the user group.
3. Provide the Title and Select BASIC LIST. There you have to select (check) the fields you want to display, SAVE and then TEST. It will ask for Variant, just CONTINUE. -
Z report for opening qty of material date wise
I have to develop a zreport which will calculate date wise opening stock of material and closing stock of that material at particular
location ( not to use standard reports)
I have to display sale qty and stock transfer qty date wise.
Similarly receipt qty date wise.
For sale qty, stock transfer qty and receipt calculation are date wise ok. But problem is to get date wise opening and closing stock of particular material.
is it possible to get location wise material wise date wise opening stock list in z report.
ThanksHi Ravikumar,
Hope you are an ABAPer. If not also, you can achieve this through an ABAPer. As mentioned by others, you need to check whether your requirement is met by the standard transaction MB5B. You need to check whether this transaction gives you the exact opening and closing balance for a material. If this gives what you want, then you need to make some small enhancement in the MB5B report program so that you will be getting the result of the opening and closing stock. In this enhancement you will use EXPORT to export the result to your program where you can IMPORT it. This procedure is explained in detail in a document created in SCN dated 30th November, 2012 by Sijin Siji. Have a look in that.
That document is descriptive and it will be helping you in solving this issue. If you have any doubts, please revert back.

CLOSING STOCK QTY FOR THE DATE
Hi
Can any body tell, In which table i can find the closing stock qty for the particular date and for the particular material without including intransit stock qty.
Regards
Mani.Dear Santhosh,
Yes, we tried to take the last MBLNR(Value) of the date from MKPF and Try to use the LBKUM Field from MSEG table. But the LBKUM value is with intransit stock.
So , we failed in that logic to bring the warehouse stock for the date.
Any other suggestions pls.

Report.vi gives no timestamp for acquired data
I am using LabVIEW 8.6 with the report generation toolkit and Report.vi (express vi). If I wire a simulated signal (again express vi) and generate a report (I'm using excel reports, but it's the same for an html), it gives a table with the time and value as expected. However, when I wire an a signal acquired using the DAQ Assistant vi, the time column is filled with the value 3349098000. Any thoughts as to why this is happening and how I can get the timestamp to work properly? Unfortunately I'm limited to express VI's since I'm using this as an educational tool with students who don't know LV. Thanks.
JohnHello John,
The reason why there's no timestamp is because the dynamic data from DAQ Assistant has no knowledge of time. You would need to manually set the attributes to the data by using Set Dynamic Data Attributes Express VI. See the figure below

MD04 requirememt qty for component
Hi dudes,
I'd like to know your thoughts on this one.
First I have this component which is non backflushable.
Then I create a process order with 1000 qty. Then I check MD04 and it requires 1000 qty for the date that I set. Then I do the 261mvt with 200qty for this component, when I check MD04, the requirement qty is now 800. Then I do the reversal 262 with 100 qty. Then i check again the MD04 and it says that the requirement qty is still 800.
I thought it wouild be back at 900 since I reversed the 100 qty.
Is this normal?
Thanks.
EllenEllen,
You ,must have performed an Unplanned Reversal. I.e not with referance to previous Material document(MBST-Cancellation) or Reservation.
That's in the intial screen of MB1A, after entering Movement type from the Menu click Goods Issue->Cancel with Referance->To Reservation, in the pop-up screen input the order number for selection, then process the next steps for cancellation.

Prasobh

Hi All,
In our data warehouse we use an ORD_ATTRIB table and also a table named ORD_ATTRIB_MTD for monthly data. The later table is a kind of staging for monthly data. In Analytic repository, what logic need to be implemented so that if any date independent report will look into both tables (union query with suitable date clauses) and for any date specific report the repository will build suitable query for corresponding regular ATTRIB or ATTRIB_MTD table as the case may be.
I work full time on analytic repository, and your expert suggestion will be highly appreciated
ThanksHi
Thanks a million for your response.
The data columns are exactly same in both the tables. There is no aggregation of one into other. MTD table all the time contains data updated for the current month. All the rest data with same granularity but past upto previous month is in the other table. Secondly these are DIM columns. The connected fact tables also has similar distinction of FACT and FACTMTD, where in data in similar way for only current month is in FACTMTD.
What I notice is that the previous developer has done the work on analytic repository, but no completely. Generated query shows call to FACT and FACT_MTD tables distinctly in the two parts of union SQL query. But the problem is to get these two parts of the union to call on ATTRIB (dimension table) and ATTRIB_MTD as the case may be.
Presently, I do not find a desired clue in configuring source for above logical fact table, which I can use for configuring source for above logical DIM tables..
Let me know your views.

Oracle 10g Discoverer Reports & export to xls fails for large reports
Hi ,
We have following configurations:
1: RHEL 5.4
2: Discoverer :Version 10.1.2.48.18
3: Oracle10g Apps Version : Version 10.1.2.0.2
Issue:
Most of small reports works fine ....but when large discoverer reports are executed the page
keeps on refreshing for 15-20 hours but no output ....same for export to xls ......
But same reports works fine in oracle9i for same data voulme....
Observations:
When on linux with top command the processes are monitored its observed that discoverer process
dis51ws dies for large reports after 1-2 minutes ...& the page keeps on refreshing but no output....
for 1-2 minutes it consumes 50-80% cpu utilisation then process disappears & cpu 80% idle ...
It seems that as 10g Apps is installed on RHEL 5.4 ...non certfified OS causing an issue...
Can any one adds more inputs in this regards......
we have checked logs : below are log details :

Regards,Hi ,
as per Note: 466697.1 ....its an memory error....& need to increase MaxVirtualDiskMem and MaxVirtualHeapMem
But we already have slowly increased MaxVirtualDiskMem and MaxVirtualHeapMem to below very high values ...but the issue remains same.......
as per note we are getting Logkeys: exceptions discoiv.servlet_exceptions error but
after that we are not getting below error ............
Unexpected error in state machine: java.lang.OutOfMemoryError
Hence I presume that its different issue rather than memmory....
Below are pref.txt values..........
CacheFlushPercentage = 25 # Percent of cache flushed if the cache is full. valid values 0 - 100%.
MaxVirtualDiskMem = 9294967296 # Maximum amount of disk memory allowed for the data cache. Should be greater than or equal to MaxVirtualHeapMem
MaxVirtualHeapMem = 4294967296 # Maximum amount of heap memory allowed for the data cache.
QueryBehavior = 0 # Action to take after opening a workbook (0 = Run Query Automatically, 1 = Don't Run Query, 2 = Ask for Confirmation)
Also we have raised an SR & as per SR .............all below settings are tried as per SR except for applying a recent patch....
====================================================================
Discoverer performance is largely determined by how well the database
has been designed and tuned for queries.
A well-designed database will perform significantly better than a poorly
designed database.
Workbook design can also affect query performance.
1. Apply latest Discoverer patch as documented in <<Note:237607.1>>
'ALERT: Required and Recommended Patch Levels For All Discoverer Version'.
2. Increase the maximum JVM heap memory:
In general, the default values for the minimum heap (-Xms) memory and
maximum heap (-Xmx) memory are sufficient.
However, if your organization consistently runs large Discoverer queries
then you may benefit from increasing the maximum heap memory from the
default values.
This is recomended if your users are typically running large queries via
Discoverer Viewer.
Increasing the JVM memory can help to avoid "java.lang.OutOfMemoryError"
in Discoverer Viewer:
Please see <<Note 563960.1>>, Best Practice: Configuring The
OC4J_BI_Forms JVM For
Discoverer Viewer/Portlet 10g Performance And Stability for specific
details.
3. Disable Query Prediction:
Query Prediction provides an estimate of the time required to retrieve
the information in a query.
The Query Prediction appears before the query and consumes time.
Edit the <oracle_home>/discoverer/util/pref.txt on the middle-tier
server and set:
QPPEnable=0
Also set:
QPPObtainCostMethod = 0
4. Uncheck the 'Enable fantrap detection' checkbox.
When the box is checked, every query generated by Discoverer is
interrogated. Discoverer will detect a fan trap and rewrite the query to
ensure that the aggregation is done at the correct level.
Please refer to <<Note:210553.1>>, Oracle BI Discoverer: Fan Trap
Resolution - Correct Results
Everytime for more information on fantraps.
To disable, in Plus go to Tools -> Options -> Advanced -> Fan Trap
settings.
In Viewer go to Preferences and uncheck the box.
5. Disable Materialized Views/Summaries
In pref.txt add parameter:
MaterializedViewRedirectionBehavior = 0
Value equal to 0 ensures that Materialized View (MV) Redirection is
always performed when MVs are available.
6. Improve query performance by optimizing the SQL.
In pref.txt modify/add following parameters:
SQLFlatten = 0
SQLItemTrim = 0
SQLJoinTrim = 0
UseOptimizerHints = 0
If value of SQLFlatten is 1 then Discoverer will merge inline views in
the query SQL where ever possible.
In case of SQLItemTrim, Discoverer will remove unused folder items from
the query SQL where possible and for SQLJoinTrim Discoverer will remove
unnecessary joins from the query where possible.
UseOptimizerHints will add Optimizer hints to SQL if set >
0.Unnecessarily making Discoverer perform these checks consumes
resources and rather than increasing the performance may reduce the same. So unless you feel these checks have to be performed depending on
requirements, assign zero to these parameters.
7. When Discoverer builds a query, Discoverer makes a database security
check to confirm that the user has access to the tables referenced in
the folders. Avoiding this check can save time.
So in pref.txt underDatabase section add:
ObjectsAlwaysAccessible = 1
8. Whenever you are creating conditions, ensure that you match the Case.
This in turn can reduce the time Discoverer spends on changing the Case
and matching.
For example:
option Upper(Department) in (Upper('VIDEO SALES')
9. Ensure that summaries are refreshed periodically in Discoverer
Administrator.
10. Increase the amount of memory available for the Discoverer data cache. Please refer to <<Note 245752.1>>, Explaining Oracle BI Discoverer
Session Memory Management
And Server Cache Settings.
11. Performance may be enhanced by enabling OracleAS Web Cache.

Hi,
For the current (overall at this time) ATP qty, I am using BAPI_MATERIAL_AVAILABILITY
Is there any way to get the ATP qty for previous months?
Thanks,
JohnIs the update rule for age,a customized one?
If so it could happen that routine was setup after the data load of March.So April load is correct while the other older loads are not.
Try deleting and reconstructing the data requests of months older than April,in the cube.See if this corrects the age.
Another thing confused me.
AGE CALMONTH HEADCOUNT
012006 2679
022006 2694
032006 2694
15 042006 1
20 042006 1
Does datasource send 1 record for each employee?Looks so as it has employee age(which must be calculated by difference between date of birth and system-date).Then how come each record has HEADCOUNT field?
cheers,

Want to schedule WebI report for End date of Prior Month
Hello Experts,
We have WebI report created on top of Bex Query, We have key date as prompt for the report. Can we schedule the webi report for key date as last date of prior month, so if current month is February, my key date should be Jan 30 2011. I am not sure if this is possible?
Thanks,
RaviYou need to apply two FM to get the end day of the month.
First you need to apply FM MONTHS_PLUS_DETERMINE. This will give you the date after 3 months.
CALL FUNCTION 'MONTH_PLUS_DETERMINE'
EXPORTING
MONTHS = 3 " << for 3 months
OLDDATE = l_start_Date " << 12/01/2007
IMPORTING
NEWDATE = l_3_Date. " << 02/01/2008
Then call the FM RP_LAST_DAY_OF_MONTHS . this will give you the end date of the month
CALL FUNCTION 'RP_LAST_DAY_OF_MONTHS'
EXPORTING
day_in = l_3_Date " << 02/01/2008
IMPORTING
last_day_of_month = l_3_Date " < 02/29/2008
EXCEPTIONS
day_in_no_date = 1
OTHERS = 2.
Call both FMs again to get your another date(after 4 months).

How to show a report for 'Previous Month' Data
Hi Gurus,
I have a requirement, where i have to default my report to show previous month data.
Scenario:
My prompts by Default are set to CURRENT (current year,quarter,month). once the user logs in, the report should display data for month 'Nov' instead of 'Dec'.
I tried using TIMESTAMPADD() in the formula , but it didn't work, though i don't see any error. Not sure if i 'm missing something.
Is there a way to achieve this.I 'm using OBIEE 11.1.1.6.
Any help is highly Appreciated ! Please.
Thanks,
RamyaFrom what you wrote I am assuming the user can manually save the report results to the Excel file.
If your report uses ALV Grid it is possible to export the data to a spreadsheet (one of the functions available in the ALV tool bar).
If you have used WRITE statements it is also possible to save the output as a spreadsheet (menu System -> List -> Save), but the latter will not produce as nice a spreadsheet if the data don't form a matrix. In other words, some work may be necessary in the spreadsheet afterwards before it has the format your user wants. -
Need help in creating prompt for Month To Date Report.
<span class="postbody"><font size="2">Hi All <br />I need to create a Month To Date Report using month(Start date & End date) as prompts, By default it has to run on the previous month data or if user selects his own range of dates then it has to bring the data for that range of dates ,one more thing is i am not showing the month and date columns on the report.Can any one help me how to create prompt for this in DeskI XIR2</font></span>
Could you clarify some things? You are saying you are trying to transform the xml output of a webservice with an xsd, but an xsd is a schema that describes the allowed format of a xml file. If you want to transform xml from one format to an other (from one xsd to an other) you have to use a xsl file. You can make and test this with JDeveloper. Are you calling the webservice from esb or bpel?
Kind Regards,
Andre
