Report message

Can some one provide me the basic steps/ code to get a message when there are no transactions when a custom gl report is run.
I need the
date
Header
message saying there are no documents.

HI Krishna,
getting a message is very simple:
message e000(zz) with 'No Documents'.
here, the pre requisite is that you should have defined a message class in se91 with name zz and a message 000 should be there in that message class.
the message 000 should have an '&'. ( A placeholder which gets replaces bt the text you pass in the message statement in the program(In this case 'No documents'.

Itunes wont open/ immediate "send error report message"

So I had a problem with me trying to install itunes 7.3 because of a missing itunes.msi. I followed the instructions i found from this forum as follows
"1. Go to http://www.ccleaner.com/ and download and install CCleaner. Run this program and click Run Cleaner. This program will remove most of your temporary files.
2. Go to http://download.microsoft.com/download/e/9/d/e9d80355-7ab4-45b8-80e8-983a48d5e1b d/msicuu2.exe and download and install Windows Install Clean Up utility. Click on iTunes and click Remove. Do the same for Quicktime.
3. Now you need to manually delete all of your iTunes and Quicktime files. This can take a very long time. Just go to C: and start searching through.
4. Go to the Run box and type in "regedit". Go through all of the folders in there and delete all iTunes and Quicktime files.
5. Go to Add/Remove Programs and Remove iTunes and Quicktime.
6. Download iTunes again and install it."
I then tried to open itunes and immediately a message pops up asking if i want to send an error report to microsoft. It seems as though step 4 might have truly made things worse.

After you get the send error report message go to:
Start -> Control Panel (In classic view which can be enabled by clicking view classic.) -> Administrative Tools -> Event Viewer.
Select the Application log and look for the most recent errors (Marked by a red X).
Double click on the error and it will show you a full description. For an error similar to the one you are recieving it should report a 'faulting module' in the error.
Please paste that here. This will help us help you.

Firefox crashed, now won't start, crash reporter message every time

I was using firefox as usual and all of the sudden it crashes and it's now gone and everytime I try to start up a new browser the same crash reporter message comes on:
"Firefox had a problem and crashed. We'll try to restore your tabs and windows when it restarts."
I've restarted, created a new profile..nothing works. Cannot access safe mode. Cannot access anything. In fact, when I try to access older bookmarks which I backed up and saved on a flashdrive and want to view them, the same error pops up with the crash report. I'd like to know if my bookmarks (old and recent) can still be accessed and backed up and that I can solve this problem and use firefox again soon.

More details:
The regular/non-extended Hardware Test returned no problems, despite taking hours for what was supposed to be a 3-5 minute test. I haven't dared run the extended.
I also tried removing third-party RAM and using the original configuration, then just the third-party and no Apple, etc.. It's not the RAM, as the problem is exactly the same.
I'm going to call up Apple support when I can, but just looking for other things I can check or possibly do until then, or just insight on what the problem could be.
Is it most likely the graphics card? Could it be an issue with the core hardware?

Itunes get "Send Error Report" message

Alright so when I try and open itunes I get a send error report message. I've tried updating it and that doesnt work and I've already tried reinstalling it. I thought quicktime was the error so I went to try and remove it from my computer. As it was loading to remove quicktime I got a "fatal error" message and quicktime could not be deleted.

Itunes has encountered a problem and needs to close
the first thing that i check for when people report getting that message when they try to launch their itunes is a broken QuickTime.
try to open your QuickTime. does it launch properly, or do you get an error message?
if you get an error message, the first thing we'll try is a careful standalone QT 7.1 reinstall.
download and save a copy of the QT 7.1 standalone installer to your hard drive. (we'll run the install from there rather than online.) switch off antivirus and antispyware applications prior to the install.

if that install goes through okay, does your itunes launch properly again?
(if you get an error message on the QT standalone reinstall, let us know what it says. include error message numbers if you're getting any.)

Itunes 7 error report message

i recently downloaded the new itunes, and it messed up everything. I ran the install program and when i tried to run the program, i get an error report message. It says that the program cannot open. I have tried unistalling, and redownloading, and nothing works. I also tried to revert to 6.01 version, but that didnt work either.Im running a dell, with os windows xp. any help would be much appreciated.

let's get a crash log to the Apple Engineers for a look.
Typically, you'll need to configure Dr. Watson on your PC in order to generate crash logs. Windows start menu -> Run. Type in "cmd". Hit return. At the prompt in the command line window that comes up, type in
drwtsn32 -i
And hit return.
This will create crash logs in Documents And Settings\All Users\Application Data\Microsoft\Dr Watson\. There'll usually be a file in here called "drwtsn32.log"
prior to collecting the itunes crash log, delete any existing crash logs in there. (we want to make sure we send the correct crash log.)
Generate the crash, collect the crash log, and send it as an attachment to this email address.
in the email to Roy, be sure to include the following information:
- A link to the thread on Apple Discussions where the issue is being discussed
- The username you are using in the thread
- The version of iTunes you are using or trying to use
- A concise description of the issue you are seeing
- The exact text of the error message you are seeing (if you are seeing one)

ITunes "Send Error Report" Message/Quicktime Problem

This is a problem that has only occured after I updated my iTunes to 7.0.2. Some songs in my library, and all of my videos that I have bought through the Music store cause the "Send Error Report" message to come up and iTunes closes down immediately.
I read another thread that a similar problem was occuring to a customer, and one of the admins requested him to un-install Quicktime and delete 2 files out of the registry. Then re-install quicktime through the "Repair" section of the iTunes installer. I followed these steps and the problem seemed to be fixed, but then they were "re-corrupted" I guess after I restarted my computer.
Do you have any idea what would be wrong? I know it is not spyware/viruses because I have several programs to check/delete them.

Bump for the 3rd time.
Quicktime will not even open, on a sidenote. It starts to load, then I hear some sort of beep..then it closes. I have tried re-installing multiple times and the problem continues.

Firefox won't open I get a "Mozilla crash reporter" message instead.

I bought a new computer and downloaded Firefox. I had brought my settings over with Easy Transfer and everything worked a few times. Now when I try to open FF it immediately shuts down and gives me an crash reporter message. It doesn't actually open up it just goes directly to the crash reporter message. I've done that a few times. I uninstalled the program and then did a new download a few times and it's still happening. Please help. I've never gotten a response from m numerous crash messages I've sent in and I've posted on this forum and then can't find it. I feel like I've fallen through the FF black hole. Do I exist??

If you have submitted Breakpad crash reports then post the IDs of one or more Breakpad crash reports (bp-xxxxxxxx-xxxxxxxxx-xxxx-xxxxxxxxxxxx). 
You can find the IDs of the submitted crash reports on the about:crashes page. 
You can open the about:crashes page via the location bar, just like you open a website.

Interactive report messages - translation

Hello,
I'm trying to translate all of the interactive report messages, on Apex 4.2.
I'm using this [http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E37097_01/doc/doc.42/e35125/global_messages.htm] as a reference.
I have several problems translating the help section of the interactive report.
First of all, I can't seem to find all of the message names. The ones I couldn't find were:
Sets the number of records to display per page.(regarding displaying certain number of rows per page)
Format enable you to customize the display of the report. Format contains the following submenu:
    Sort
    Control Break
    Highlight
    Compute
    Aggregate
    Chart
    Group By(regarding format)
You can define one Group By report per saved report. Once defined, you can switch between the group by and report views using links below the Search bar. To create a Group By report, you select:
    the columns on which to group (up to 3 columns can be selected)
    the columns to aggregate along with the function to be performed (average, sum, count, etc.)
    the columns to use for sorting (up to 3 columns can be selected along with direction and null sorting options)(regarding group by)
And secondly, I have translated this message
    Select columns icon enables you to identify which column to search (or all).
    Text area enables you to enter case insensitive search criteria (wild card characters are implied).
    Go button executes the search.
    Reports displays alternate default and saved private or public reports.
    Actions Menu enables you to customize a report. See the sections that follow.using this message name: APEXIR_HELP_SEARCH_BAR.
However, now I have two messages shown in that section: the original one, in English, and the translated one.
Could someone please help me out?

When I sync with my iphone i get an error reporting message but the sync still works. After trying to download 10.6.3 Mac OSX Snow Leopard, this message appears every few seconds until I quit Entourage. How do I turn this message off?.

I only have one video project that I ever published to iDisk. It didn't have any music or photo files attatched to it, just a few clips stitched together. I can play these clips right now in the Event Library (so I know the source files are on my computer), but strangely, under the Project Library, the project is not there. I'm almost certain that I didn't store the project on iDisk; I just completed the video and published it to iDisk (as a .mov file I think) for family to see. I've tried to figure out how to get iDisk to stop looking for this project to no avail.
I don't know if others have experienced this, but if I click on any project and on the menu bar select Share --> Remove From --> Media Browser... it lists iPod, iPhone, iPad, tv, Computer and MobileMe. Why would MobileMe be an option here? This is the case for any video project I select. Didn't iLife '11 and/or OSX 10.8 remove all mention of MobileMe? I wonder if this is part of the problem too.
Edit: I just removed every project I have from the Media Browser. Still no luck.

Keep getting false Mozilla Crash Reporter messages

I keep getting false Mozilla Crash Reporter messages. I can just close them and continue on. When I get that message I can't open another Firefox window until I close that message. Can someone please help me?

Report messages are not visible

when i click on message reports in Operations tab. its not dipaying the report message. Instead it giving meassage like
"Provider Not Available :JMS Reporting Provider is not deployed, or it is not active ".
What i have to do in order to see report messages.

It should be running by default. Is this your own local environment?
You can check the deployment in WLS console. Click Deployments on the left and find "JMS Reporting Provider". Make sure that it is Active and if not, try to start it.
If it is not there at all, try to deploy it from BEA_HOME\weblogic92\servicebus\lib\common (remember to start it).
Hopefully that is all you will need to deploy.

I think the MLD report is to ensure that the MAC address isn't subscribed to any stale multicast group memberships left over from the previous client network configuration.

ICMPv6 'Multicast Listener Report' messages flooding the local network

Hi all,
We have a small number of 93z desktops scattered around our school. There seems to be an issue with the ethernet adapters running the Intel I217 chipset. When these machines are in sleep one or more start sending IPV6 "Multicast Listener Report Message v2" packets to the network (observed by Wireshark). Then they begin to snowball and shortly thereafter they are flooding the network, bringing it to its knees.
We had the same issue on some Dell workstations, however, Dell released a firmware update to address this issue with this chipset.
Just wondering if this is an issue Lenovo is aware of and/or has addressed. We've worked around it on Lenovo's machines by disabling all power options on the ethernet adapters but we shouldn't have to do that. If Dell can provide a firmware fix why can't Lenovo (assuming that they haven't).

I can't tell you which drive to use because Lenovo are terrible with drivers, however, the best way to workaround the issue is to disable the power management settings on the adapter...
We had the same problem on some Dell T1700 workstations, Dell moved very quickly to release an updated BIOS and driver that resolved it. Intel, I believe, have also corrected this in their native drivers but I'm unsure (and unwilling to test) if Lenovo have, I don't believe they had as of a month ago as we reimaged some machines and updated them with latest drivers through the update tool and then we started seeing multicast traffic again.
Lenovo support is rubbish.

"Send Error Report" Message When Trying to Open iTunes

I've looked for two days to find a solution to this problem and tried everything I've come across. Nothing has worked so far, and every time I try to open iTunes I still get the "send error report". I know that that does nothing. I've un-installed and re-installed both Quicktime and iTunes and it doesn't work. I've tried to see if it will work on another account on the same computer but it doesn't work. What is the next step?

Good-O. Not seeing an error message there rules out another possible set of problems, so we're still making progress.
Okay, we'll try swapping out your existing QuickTime one more time, taking a few extra explicit precautions along the way.
First, download and save a fresh copy of the QuickTimeInstaller.exe to your hard drive. (Don't run the install on line and don't run the install just yet.) Get the installer that doesn't mention iTunes:
http://www.apple.com/quicktime/download/
Now head into your "Add or Remove Programs" control panel and uninstall QuickTime.
Next we'll remove any leftover QuickTime program files and folders.
Restart the PC.
Open Local Disk C: or whichever drive your program files are installed on.
Open the "Program Files" folder.
Right-click the "QuickTime" folder (if it still exists) and select Delete.
Go back into Local Disk C: or whichever drive your Operating System files are installed on.
Open the "Windows" folder.
Open the "system32" folder.
Right-click on the QuickTime file (if it still exists) and select "Delete".
Right-click on the QuickTimeVR file (if it still exists) and select "Delete".
Empty your Recycle Bin and restart the PC again.
After the PC restarts, do not open any applications. Disconnect from your network and/or the internet. Now disable all your security software (firewall, antivirus, antispyware).
Now start the QuickTime install by doubleclicking on the QuickTimeInstaller.exe file you downloaded earlier.
Reenable all security software prior to reconnecting to the internet and/or your network.
Did that install seem to go through okay? If so, does QuickTime launch normally this time?

Handling Report Message

i am using report 6i and i want to abort the run of report,
so i use return(false) in before-parameter-form trigger
i stoped report run but i still have an error message,
how can suppress the message:
rep-1419 'beforepform': pl/sql program abort??
