  • Unable to create PO in backend system for a text material in Shopping cart

    Hi All,
When I am approving  a shopping cart with text material(ie without material/product/goods), I am getting PR instead of PO. Please explain the settings for getting PO.
    Regards
    SATYA

    Hi,
SPRO--> SRM > SRM server> cross application basic settings --> Define objects in backend system (PR,RS,PO)
    Always purchase requision
       Or
PO if item data complete, other wise PR.
    1. Enter the organizational unit and/or the category.
    2. Enter a source system.
    3. Choose the procurement type.
Reservation if stock is available, otherwise external procurement
The system creates a reservation if the material is subject to inventory management and sufficient stock quantity is available in the warehouse on the requested date.
Always reservation for materials subject to inventory management
The system creates a reservation if the material is subject to inventory management, irrespective of whether stock is available.
    Always external procurement
The system does not create a reservation, but always procures the item externally. In this case, you specify the type of external procurement.
The following options are significant if the system cannot create a reservation (for example, if there is no stock available or for a non-stock item) or the system must not create a reservation (choose Always external procurement).
Purchase order if item data complete, otherwise purchase requisition
The system always tries to create a purchase order. If the item data is incomplete (for example, the vendor or price is not known), the system creates a purchase requisition from the item.
    Always purchase requisition
The system always creates a purchase requisition.
    Always local purchase order
The system always creates a local purchase order.

  • SRM 7 - defaulting values for multiple line items on shopping cart

    Hi,
We are using SRM 7 - Employee self service - Punch out catalogues and describe requirements.
    Our scenario is this:
    - User is responsible for creating shopping carts for numerous cost centres/other users
    - Shopping cart will have multiple line items (but the cost centre/other user will be same for all line items)
    - Is it possible to define in a shopping cart that all line items will have a specific value?  E.g. all line items will be assigned to a specific cost centre?
I know about assigning dedault values in PPOMA_BBP - but our situation is where user does not want to use this default value this time, but another value
    Any suggestions?
    Thanks

    Thanks Alex for quick reply
To confirm, did you use the BBP_DOC_CHECK_BADI (in conjunction with the BBP_ITEM_CHECK_BADI) to look at different cost centres on the multiple lines on the shopping cart?
Also - did you use the same BADI to give user opportunity to enter a default cost centre that is then automatically applied to all line items on the cart?
    Thanks

  • Badi for preventing PO creation in shopping cart in srm

    Hi Experts,
Here I have a senerio in SRM. In shopping carts we need to avoid purchge order cretion for particular vendors. Because for these vendors through workflow after approval PO has to be created.
So I need BADI to prevent the purchage order creation for particular vendors.
Please suggest me in this regards.
    Thanks in advance
    G.S.Naidu

    Hi Naidu,

  • Purchase order created on approval of Shopping cart

    Hi All,
We are using SRM 5.0 Support pack SAPKIBKT17.
When a shopping cart is approved, a purchase order is automatically created. And this purchase order is attached to an E-Mail and sent to the Vendor.
My query is that where is this E-Mail triggered? Is there a standard workflow task or any method is called?
    Thanks,
    Kiruthiga

    Thank you Jason.
I put break points in all relevant sub routines in the function group you mentioned. And we approved the shopping cart. Logically, this should trigger a creation of PO. In our system there is no need for an approval for a PO. So the PO must automatically be sent to the vendor. In real, it did not stop at any breakpoint and the workflow WS10400051 (FinalProcNew) is triggered.
I can not understand at which point the E-Mail is triggered. Is my assumption that the E-Mail to vendor with PO as an attachment is triggered in this workflow (WS10400051)?
    Please help me understand.
    Regards,
    Kiruthiga

  • Search for G/L account in shopping cart

    Hi Experts,
I have a question regarding default data in the search function in shopping cart.
When I create a shopping cart, I don't have any data defaulted into the field for G/L account. We would like the user to open the 'area' cost assignment and make the allocation for G/L account them self.
My question is: When the user activate ' cost assignment' press on the binoculars in the field 'G/L account no., a search screen is activated.  In the search screen there are some default data, company code, launguage, chart of account, etc. WHERE DOES THESE DEFAULT DATA COMES FROM?
    Best regards. Kim

    Hi,
Depend upon your product category that is selected in SC and Cost center the G/L Account data comes up.. in SRM there is a table called BBP_DET_ACCOUNT here the data is configured... so if you check here you will find for that particular product category what are the G/L Accounts maintained...
Hope my explanation helped you to resolve your query

  • Item level link in PO for items added from individual Shopping carts

    Hi all,
IF i create a PO in Sourcing using multiple shopping carts, then for each of the item in the PO ,is there any link which has details about the Line item of the SC from which the PO was created?I am looking for some link in the PO(created from multiple carts) at the item level with the Items in the shopping cart.
    E.g. I create PO 100 from cart 10 and Cart 20.
    CArt 10:
    Line item A
    cart 20:
    Line item B
    PO 100:
    Line Item A(1st item)
    Line item B(2nd item)
For the above example,is there any link in PO 100 for item A in SC 10 and for item B in SC 20?
    Thanks in advance.

What are you trying to achieve? What other link do you need if you get the item GUID (this is not the shopping cart number!)? The item GUID is a unique number in the SRM system that is only used for that particular item. So there is no need to identify it any further or in any other way?
So 4 ways to get it:
    1. use the correct tables (CRMD_ORDERAMD_I & BBP_PDIGP using GUID and SRC_GUID from the top of my head).
    2. Use the BBP_PD_PO_ITEMGETDETAIL Function Module (do a search for BBP_PD_PO* in transaction SE37 to find the correct name).
    3. use transaction BBP_PD (only reference)
    4. use the PO transaction in internet explorer and check the preceding shopping carts

  • Vendor part number for non catalog item in shopping cart?

I have a requirement to get the vendor part number field in shopping cart basic data for non catalog item. This field is available for catalog items, would it be possible to make the same field available for non catalog items as well?

    Hi Gummadi,
You can create custom fields in Shopping cart uisng a BADI and can populate the information.
BBP_CUF_BADI can be used to create customer fields.
Please get discuss with your ABAP fellow for the creation of customer field.
    Award points for helpful answers.

  • Account assignment check for non-direct material in shopping cart creation

    Hello Guru's
i'm very new to SRM please help me
We require all non-direct material shopping carts to be ordered with a valid account assignment. Therefore we implemented BADi ZUB2MB_DP_PROD_CHK to suppress the u201COrder as Direct Materialu201D Button. This button allows any order to be placed without account assignment like a direct material.
We started ordering direct materials in SRM at go-live with a cost center, but when they were received, SAP considered them consumed due to the account assignment and did not place them into QA Inspection or assign a batch. We immediately, switched back to SAP for direct materials.
We need a solution that will require all non direct material shopping carts to have account assignments, while allowing direct materials to be ordered with or without account assignments. All while keeping the current checks in place regarding the mixing of account assignments, Z required for TBI catalogs, etc.
please tell me how to write the logic in the DOC_CHEK_BADI  to check weather account assignment is made for non-direct material while creating a shopping cart.
    thanks in advance....

Account Assignment notification, should be take care by standard SRM functionality itself..
    Your using SRM 7.0 or 5.0 ??
    Thanks!!

  • Report on inventory purchased for a period from a vendor

I am looking for a report which shows the inventory of a raw material purchased from a vendor for a particular period. Is there any standard report ?

    Hi!
Case 01: If you are interested in just knowing the qty of Material received from a Particular Vendor, you can use MB51 by defining the Vendor and Movement Type (101,102).
Case 02: If you are interested in the existing Stock in the Stor.Loc / Plant segregated by Vendor, probably you need to have Batch Management activated - with Vendor as the criteria for batch. This will allow to you to see Stock per Vendor in any Standard report like MB52. In this case the System will require you to enter the batch (Vendor in this case), every time you do a GR, GI or Transfer Transaction.
    Hope this helps.

    Riju.

  • Deletion Shoping cart by Requester for soco shopping carts.

    hello All
    Hi all
please share your thoughts and SAP standard and best practices followed to delete the shopping cart
    Classic:-
    scenario 1:- no problem
SC created with fixed source of supply and PO created and no confirmation done.
REQUESTER could delete shopping cart at item level since REQUESTER does not require the material.
now item status turned immediately DELETED. no issues. PO set to DELETED in ECC
scenario 2:- problemSC created and without source of supply and BUYER assigned a vendor and PO created and no confirmation done.
REQUESTER could delete shopping cart at item level since REQUESTER does not require the material.
now item status turned immediately ITEM IN DELETION PROCESS rather than  DELETED. Here it is a issue.
i expect the system should show deletion  immediately at shopping cart at item level. PO set to be deleted  (PO also not set to deleted).
if BUYER manually deletes the PO in ECC,Shopping cart again venture to cockpit and again BUYER action is required to complete this request.
what is the best solution for scenario 2 and why the shopping cart status not set to DELETED (ITEM IN DELETION PROCESS I1114 ) when requester  DELETES the cart.is it a system bug. every customer expects the system should show right status .
    Muthu

    Hi Muthu,
I think if a follow-on document created for a SC the best practice is to edit the leading document rather than changing the SC..
Itu2019s better to change the PO in SRM..
    Thanks!!

  • Shopping Cart Item Completed by Purchaser

    Hi,
I am trying to find out how to stop the standard SAP email which goes out when Purchase click Complete button on Carry Out Sourcing (bbpsoco1).
To give brief background, There is standard Email gets generated through SRM to the requester of the Shopping Cart when Purchase hit Complete to shopping cart from Carry out sourcing without creating PO.
Is there any standard Task in SRM which is triggering the email. I found TS 14007939 & TS 14007947 which are Completion by Purchaser but does not seems applicable for the same.
    Kindly advise.
    Thank you
    Ritesh

  • Supplier ******* not intended for purch. org error in S Cart

Hi - We have set up a Dev SRM system using Extended Classic Scenario
When we create shopping carts and we try to assign a vendor we get
message Supplier A111111 not intended for purch. org.
The vendor exists in our ECC 6.0 system under purchase organisation SD01
The vendor exists in our SRM 7.0 system under local purchase
    organisation 50000006
Vendor exists in SRM table BBPM_BUT_FRG0061 under the local purchase
    organisation 50000006
The user PAULSMITH is also assigned to the correct organisation element
Reading forums this seems to have happended to other clients but i
could not find a resolution on SAP marketplace or SAP community network
I would appreciate an early response as we are trying to get the system
    ready for a customer demonstration.
    kind regards
    Phil

    Hi
Thanks for the reply much appreciated - i have saved my shopping cart but at item level it does not show my purchase organisation field on any of the tabs at item level. Plant, Company Code & Storage Location as listed in the screen templates
So i checked my configuration settings on the org structure - our cookbook said to enter the backend purchase organisation on the root level for the purchasing department - I took this entry outand now the correct SRM org structure purchase organisation is visible in the shopping cart
    Thank you for your help
    kind regards

  • Use HR Structure for Agent Determination in Shopping Cart Workflow SRM7.0

We are implementing a Shopping Cart Approval Workflow in SRM 7.0. The process is that the Requester creates a Shopping Cart and an approval process will take effect.
The approvers will come from an HR structure wherein the direct superior (or supervisor) is the first approver. The second approver is the direct superior of the first approver; and so on, until the Shopping Cart is approved. A maximum of 7 approvals can be done in a Shopping Cart document.
I would like to ask the following:
    1. How can I achieve this in our WF? I tried to implement BADI /SAPSRM/BD_WF_RESP_RESOLVER but I was not able to activate it (there are other active implementations for this in Shopping Cart).
    2. If there are other suggestions on how to accomplish this, please let me know.
Thanks in advance for your help.

    Thanks Masa.
We created 2 custom expression for our requirement and copied FM /SAPSRM/WF_BRF_0EXP001 to put values on those expressions. Then, on our BRF we compared these 2 expressions. After putting the Eval. ID on the process level configurations, we were able to see in SLG1 that the fields are populated correctly. However, we just put constant values on the custom expressions so we can proceed with testing.
There is one problem in terms of populating the other custom expression. This expression is for the Level of the Manager. I understand that this custom expression is populated before RR_MANAGER_OF_MANAGER. I would like to understand how to get the next approver in the copy of FM /SAPSRM/WF_BRF_0EXP001. In this way, I can get the Manager Level from table HRP5581 and use this to compare with the Release Strategy. If this will not work, is there a way to get the work item ID for the WF so I could get the previous approver then get the superior of the that previous approver and then get the Manager Level from there?
Currently, only the GUID and Object Type is populated in the FM. Can I reuse some of the fields from other expressions so I can achieve my requirement?
Thank you very much for your help.

  • Error "No status object is available for Unknown Object " in Shopping Cart

    Hi all,
We are getting error "No status object is available for <Unknown Object>" while creating shopping carts of any type .
Please suggest if any configuration setting needs to be done.
    Thanks and Regards,
    Navdeep Malik

    Dear Navdeep
The error is likely caused by one or more entries in table BBP_DOCUMENT_TAB that are without objkey or guid.
did you delete some entries from SRM transaction tables?
Check table BBP_DOCUMENT_TAB entries to see any GUID which is not present in the system.
You can verify this by checking whether there is an entry in CRMD_ORDERADM_H (header) table
    with GUID = <guid stored in bbp_document_tab>
    Regards
    Lauren
