Report table & field problem
Hi,
i created a report vendor aging report.
I have to add a field purchase organization at selection-screen and at output.
1)i picked the field ekorg and lifnr from lfm1 table.
2) I made same report but picked ekorg and lifnr from EKKO table.
the output is different. both the reports for same pruchase organization
showing some diffenent vendors. for same vendor the total is also coming different.
Please let me know which one is the correct method. i.e LFM1-ekorg or EKKO-ekorg

Check tables VBAK and VBAP wherein you will get all header and item details.
VBUK and VBUP for header and line item statuses.
KONV would give you rates/pricing details for each condition type determines in the sales order.
VBAK-KNUMV = KONV-KNUMV is how you relate both of them.

Table fields used for basic key figures in report writer/report painter
Does anyone know how I can find which <u>table field</u> is actually being used for SAP defined <b>basic key figures</b> in report writer report? For example, <b>HSL</b> is a basic key figure for income statement, library 0F1, report 0F-GUVV. It only shows data is coming from table GLFUNCT. How does the report writer program knows which fields to select? What is the logic behind the basic key figures?
Any advice is appreciated!!
MinamiI have now resolved this issue.
I had to manually update TablesT804B and T804F.
I've added entries to T804A in the past without the need to update T804B or T804F manually so it appears that the way these tables work together has changed following an upgrade or application of support packs.

Table/field/report showing approver of payment run in F110
After reviewing the payment proposal in F110, supervisor approves the Payment Run by clicking u201CStart immediatelyu201D in Schedule Payment pop-up.
For audit purposes, we need to view who approved specified payment runs. Anyone knows the table, field, or report would contain that information?
Appreciate any help.They're a document that records when things get changed. "Things" includes pretty much anything from material master to sales orders, hence "general".
But It isn't enabled by default for all tables, mainly for performance reasons. Is it enabled for the relevant REG.... table(s) in the data dictionary? You might need to check with a basis guy or abapper.
I'd say enabling it is simpler than modding the standard programs and tables, like by adding fields to REGUV. -
Are Output of reports generated stored in tables & fields in SAP?

You are right that, If posting happens, obviously the data is going to be stored in tables.
I am not talking about posting. I want to know if the job is scheduled for report generation (where there is no posting involved) whether the result is stored in tables or not. After executing SM37, we will select the job and click Spool right. I am talking about the report result stored there.

Welcome to SAP!
There are two ways to find what are all the tables used in the program,
1. Easy & Effective way is to use ST05 and do SQL Trace.
2. Normally, when you want to see the corresponding code in the program related to database activities, then do this,
Goto SE38 --> Put the report name (say RIQMEL20) -> Press F9 --> Select data base activities (SELECT, DELETE, MODIFY, INSERT). Click Ok. This will show all the program lines.

Add fields to reporting table/structure CCSS
My customer has defined some new fields (Z......) for WBS reporting in table PRPS. They would like to use these fields in report painter reports, but we have not managed to make them available in the library used (6P3). In order to make that happen they must show in the reporting table/structure used (CCSS) I guess? According to SAP there's no "easy way" of doing this, but obviously it should be possible.
Can somebody give ma an idea how this can be done?Eventually we manage to get the customer defined field to show up as a characteristic in the relevant library. The reason we struggled with this was the defined length of the field. SAP does not accept a characteristic with a defined field length of more than 24 characters (we had 30). We ended up redefining the length of the field directly in include CI_CC1Z.

Problem accessing TABLE fields in SELECT statement

We are currently using Oracle Database 10.2.0.2.0.
In the following code, using a function to access TABLE fields works, but not when accessing the table fields directly (in the latter case, I get a no data found exception).
Why is that?

..well it could be managed by simple HTML tags or simple javascript properties and events itself...
All you have to do is encode URL and pass it as the request parameters to the next page.

Problem in finding table fields to enhance 0CRM_SRV_CONFIRM_H for 'Code'
Hi,
My source system for BW is CRM. This development is related 'Service Order and Confirmations'. The relevant data source in CRM system is 0CRM_SRV_CONFIRM_H. This data source does not have any information for 'Catalog/Code Group/ Classification Codes' for a Service ticket. So, I have to enhance the data source with it.
'Catalog/Code Group/ Classification Codes' is present in the table CRMD_SRV_SUBJECT but there is no common joining fields for the table with datasource or CRMD_ORDERADM_I or CRMD_ORDERADM_H table. CRMD_SRV_SUBJECT has a field called GUID, but transaction data stored in that is not matching with any GUID column of datasource or CRMD_ORDERADM_I or CRMD_ORDERADM_H table.
Data source can be joined with CRMD_ORDERADM_H [ DS-GUID = CRMD_ORDERADM_H-GUID ] and with CRMD_ORDERADM_I [ DS-GUID = CRMD_ORDERADM_I -HEADER ].
Thus, I think, the transaction data is stored in some other table which can be joined with the data source. Please help me giving the relevant table/field name to enhance the data source.

Passing a table-field value in Crystal to a Store Procedure in SQL Server
I have been checking all over the interenet via searches and although some seem to come close to this, its still not what I want.
Essentially I need to pass value from Table-Field record (for each record read/selected) via a paramete to a Stored Procedure(SP) in SQL Server 2205/2008. I do NOT want to be prompted for a value for this parameter each time the report is run, simple pass the value in which will be used along with other select criteria to bring back one value for the report to use in a calcuation per record.
The value of the parameter is a date, but I understand it would be better to pass it in as a varchar(8) - 'YYYYMMDD' - and then reconvert it inside the SP, as follows:
In Crystal Reports 2008 SP3, I have a formula defined as,
trans_date = ToText ({F1ARS_STMT_WS_TRAN.TRANS_DATEI}, 'YYYYMMDD')
and essential just want to pass this to the SP below ... i.e. trans_date ---> @strTransDate
I then link the key fields [EXCH_RATE_TABLE_NAME] and [TRANS_CCY_CODE] to other tables in the Database Expert, and put [EXCH_RATE_AMT] on the report and use it to calculate what I want.
This works fine when the prompt comes up and I put in a proper date, but I don't what it to prompt, but simple pass the F1ARS_STMT_WS_TRAN.TRANS_DATEI in via the fornula/parameter and let teh SQL do the rest for each record selected..

I moved your post to the Report Design forum. Lots of SQL help in here...
I believe the problem is due to you using a Parameterized Stored Procedure. The first thing CR has to do is connect to your DB source which requires the date parameter before it can run the query to add the date filter, it's the SP that is prompting for the parameter. Therefore the report has not run so it can't get the field value from the report until you fill in the info for the SP. Catch 22 problem.... Which came first, the Chicken or the Parameter....
The report will work as you have noted but I don't know of anyway to refresh unless parameter is filled in again....
Jason has a lot of great solutions when it comes to these dilemmas, Possibly using a Command Object may help but I believe you will still run into the same issue....
Only way I can think of is to not use a parameter in the SP and let CR do the filtering client side. Of course this means all data is coming back to the client PC as you are likely trying to find a work around for.

Find Table Field for Q0045-OPELO in HR Payroll
Dear All,
I have a requirement to find the Loan Balance as on date from Infotype 0045.
In the screen field it show that data is linked to this table field... Q0045-OPELO .
Now My Problem is how To find the Database table Name where exactlly the amount value store and i can use that fro my report to calculate the Loan Balance for required Employee.
Its urgent..........

The loan balance amount is not stored in the database table. It is instead stored against WT /LLB in the payroll cluster table PCL2. If you want to retrieve this amount, then you have to use a macro to select the payroll results for the period you are running the report and then select the RT table.
The /LLB entry (if exists) in the RT table will hold the loan balance amount.
