ReportCrash constantly going and X-Rite

I keep having the reoccuring problem with reportcrash constantly going and sucking up half a proccesor. The only way I can stop it is to reboot. I went to my log folder and it seems there are about 15 log files that are constantly updating all which seem to say the same thing:
It seems a process called processinfo from the X-Rite frame works is crashing. However, I never installed anything called X-Rite and am not sure what it is for or how to get rid of it.
Can anyone help?

  • Constantly Goes And Stops

I mean that as in, the internet will work for 20 minutes and then it will stop. It will keep doing that. I'm online through a router. a Linksys Wireless G with SpeedBooster. Model Number: WRT54GS and our ISP is Comcast. I'm up to date in software so I don't know what to do.

Make sure the firmware on the linksys is up to date, not just your Mac firmware, there was a mandatory update released in February I think. Give that a shot, also unplug everything from the router, and plug it back in, does a soft reset.

I have reset the NVRAM and the SMC a couple of time but that didn't work so I ran an Apple Hardware Test and while testing the logic board it gives the following error:
    4SNS/1/40000000 LB1T
I've done some research and found this is a temperature sensor related to the battery, but cannot find where the sensor is located in the computer.  Would you know how I can find the sensor to test it?  Could my battery problem be related to something else?  Would a fresh install of Lion help?
    Thank you!
    Mike
Two pieces of information that may or may not b helpful, the hard drive is from my early 2008 MBP and the only test disc I have access to is from an iMac.

Why do you have LION installed on that older machine?
So you say you built a macbook from a bucket of parts eh?   Kudos
heres a pic of the battery temp sensor

  • My wifi constantly goes on and off is it something to do with the iphone or the wifi

MY wifi constantly goes from wifi to 3G, is it something to do with the wifi or the iPhone Plz help its really pecking my head!!

it's a hardware issue. the solder process was flawed (possibly on purpose) between the Wifi/Bluetooth chips back to the motherboard. I say possibly on purpose because it is clear that they did not power it enough for long term sustainability, perhaps in hopes that it would fail right as your contract was up so that you cannot use your phone on wifi and thus have to buy the newer phone. to verify if you indeed have a hardware problem and not a software issue as some claim, first turn your phone off, put it in a ziplock back and put it in the freezer for 20 min. the cold will shrink the fissured solder and reestablish the power required to work your wifi. it is only a temp fix but it verifies that it is indeed a hardware issue and not a software issue (oddly enough most of the wifi hardware issues occur after updating. i believe this is because of a change in power/use of wifi solder channels). a way to fix this requires you to take your phone apart down to the motherboard and simulate the industrial baking process used to solder the connections.
all in all, i must say that this wifi issue has really left me with a bad taste in my mouth and was the deciding factor in my not purchasing an iPad.

Thunderbird is a great asset to my boss and I. We use Thunderbird all the time and love it, but for about a week it constantly goes into "not responding mode". My boss uses the same service at home with no problem at all.
I did an "safe mode" and restart and for a few minutes I thought it was "healed". However, I did a search and the same thing started happening again. The little blue ring starts spinning and "not responding" pops up above the toolbar. Sometime the screen fades to a sort of greyish and no mouse click are responded to, even to close Thunderbird.
Please help however you can. Our office number is 512.246.3995.
    Thank you,
    Mary

We wonder if it is a firewall problem that developed here at the office. My boss uses her account at home and all is well, but here, experiences the same issues I described

    Hi,
Try a Hard Reset as follows.
Shut down the notebook, unplug the AC Adapter and then remove the battery.  Hold  down the Power button for 30 seconds.  Re-insert the battery, plug in the AC Adapter and start the notebook.

  • Is there some way to add multiple addresses to an email I am sending that doesn't close the contact list after I click on an address?  This necessitates constantly going back to click the + sign to add each address separately.

Is there some way to add multiple addresses to an email I am sending that doesn't close the contact list after I click on an address?  This necessitates constantly going back to click the + sign to add each address separately.  Is there some way I can open the contact list, click on all of the individual addresses to which I want to send the email without the list closing between each address entry, and have all of my address entries be listed to the email at one time?  Something like it works in Gmail.  I do not want to use set lists, I want to enter different addresses each time I send an email.  And I am a very slow typist, so I don't want to type the first few letters of each recipient's name.  It is much faster for me to just click on the e-mail addresses in the list as a group.  It doesn't make any sense to me to have to reopen the contact list for each address, when it should be so easy to click on all of the addresses I want at one time and then click once to add them all to the email as a group.  If there is a solution to this, please tell me.  Thanks.

    Vatlily,
    Try this:
    1. Select Mail>File>New Message.
    2. Select Mail>Window>Address Panel.
    3. Use (command+click) on the desired addressees in the Address Panel to create the list.
    4. Click "To:" on the top left of the Address Panel.
The group that you selected will be added to the "To" field in your New Message.

  • IMac windows constantly moving and changing by themselves

My iMac is possessed.  Windows are constantly opening and closing and changing size by them selves.  Brightness goes up and down by itself. iTunes opens by itself.  I can't select individual files in finder on the rare moments everything does stop moving.  I updated software, plugged the computer, router, disconnected peripherals.  I disabled the iPad from automatically connecting with the iMac.  I changed to a wired mouse and turned off the key pad, still does it.  Our iPad was doing it too, a few months ago and would play random music at odd times, really loud. Disconnecting everything worked at that time, but not now.  Help!!

To be clear, when I say 'save', I mean select the 'Move To' Message menu pick. Further, the issue in question is the appearance (or not ) of an additional pick on the Message menu, to wit, Move to {folder name} Again ... And in all cases, in all tests, the folder named in the Move To process was the same one.
There is only one other user - my wife, who is afraid to even empty the trash. I did the test in that account as well, and it functioned the same as on my own account. On to the suggested Safe mode test.
Prior to shutting down, I had sent myself a test message, retrieved the mail, selected that message in the Inbox, pulled down the Message menu, and noted that the 'again' message pick was not there. I left that message in the Inbox and restarted in Safe mode. Then I selected the leftover message, pulled down the Message menu, and the 'again' pick was not there. I left the message in the Inbox.
Then I restarted normally, did the same sequence, and the 'again' pick was still missing. Hmmm. I sent myself a second test message, went through the process again, saving first the leftover message (no 'again' pick showed), and then the new second message (the 'again' pick had returned). So one thing I discovered was that the 'again' pick does not survive a restart, for whatever that's worth.
Then, realizing that there was another case, I started all over again. In Safe mode I created, sent, retrieved, and saved two messages in that one session. The behavior was as I have described - no 'again' pick while saving the first, 'again' reappeared for the second save.

Coldfusion Builder 3.0 - Constantly goes into some type of wait state. It eventually returns...but does anyone have any ideas??

You may want to turn on the “progress” view (Window>Show view), as it may show that the waits are when CFB is trying to talk to your CF server for some reason and may be held up.

Doesn't sound like it.  It sounds like you're being logged-off.
Does your Mac go through the complete Restart cycle -- black screen, gray and/or blue screen momentarily, startup chime, etc?
If you're not sure, do a Restart just to watch the process; the next time the problem occurs, see if it's the same.
You need to know which it is, as these will have very different causes, and different places to look for a solution.

  • IPhone constantly goes to sleep requiring password to wake up

Need help to stop my new iPhone from constantly going to sleep requiring me to constantly re-enter my password. Is it possible to change this and where and how?

    Hello Roger Walker USA,
It sounds like the Auto Lock function of the phone is set to be too short, so you keep having to wake your phone up and enter your passcode much more than you would like. You can change this in Settings:
Set the amount of time before iPhone locks
Choose General > Auto-Lock and choose a time.

  • Upgraded to Firefox 4.0.1 for Mac, constantly freezes and crashes, have to force quit, bad bugs. Switching to Safari.

I upgraded to Firefox 4.0.1, and it now constantly freezes, won't respond at all, and has to be force quit and restarted. Within less than 5 minutes of use, over and over and over... I'm assuming it is a bug in the Mac version.... Am switching to Safari as I can't waste this much time constantly quitting and restarting and getting my tabs all back up. Any suggestions on ways to let Firefox know about the bug would be greatly appreciated. It worked fine until I upgraded :( Am running Mac OS X 10.6.7

why every time i hit my new message or iMessage notification it goes and creates a new message to the person who sent the message?

    Hey Rkbethel
There are two ways to resolve this for you. For the first is go and do a Reset All Settings by going to Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings. It will not delete anything on your iPhone, but it will put all settings back to default. If it does not work, the next step would be to restore the iPhone back to factory settings.

    Do you have current backups?
Those symptoms could indicate a failing Hard drive. If it dies, all your documents go with it unless you have Backups.
I have had very good luck with physical and battery problem diagnosis at the Genius Bar. Those guys put their hands (and their ears) to these machines, all day every day, and they know immediately what all those sounds mean.
